The Experience of Wholeness -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 6th - Sun., April 12th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was very busy, interesting and powerful -- lots of layers, lots of curveballs, but all was well in the end :-) Flexibility, open-mindedness and "open-heartedness" was truly the best way to go… Of course, all of this was connected to the Eclipses, and to the Jupiter and Pluto stations…

This week's headline items: the Jupiter station intensifies on Monday, as does the Pluto station on Friday. Venus changes signs from Taurus to Gemini late morning Saturday and the last Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact Saturday late evening.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for 8.5 hours), Thursday early afternoon (for 19 hours), and Sunday early morning (for 9.5 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day. It will journey here until Wednesday very early morning. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.

As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free.

Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.

The Jupiter station intensifies today (Monday), as it is preparing to come to a halt on Wednesday (after having been retrograde for the past 4 months). This station will last until April 14th

When a planet stations, we start to be more fully aware of its energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies as they exist within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge. Some of this planet's keywords: morality; gratitude; hope; honor; the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism, wisdom, understanding and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with our sense of humor, generosity, tolerance, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include irresponsibility -- too much of a good thing, leading to blind optimism, excess, and overindulgence.

We have been connecting internally to our wisdom and ability to grow for the past four months. What did you discover about your ability to learn and grow since December? Do you have a better understanding of your own inner wisdom and how to access it? How could those discoveries change how you live in the world?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 10 - 15 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us with their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter's movements and aspects).

Monday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 9:26am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from  last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday evening.

We are more optimistic, which is good, since we see the bigger picture, communicate more positively and readily inspire others. We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease talking with people from all walks of life. We might be strongly drawn to foreign languages, cultures, and destinations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-16 degrees of Aries, Leo or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

And after that, the Sun aligns with Uranus in in 16 degrees of Aries at 10:08am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday on; it will be strong until Wednesday night. This alignment brings confidence and a desire to connect with others through a common cause. We may have sudden insights into our relationships -- and how they connect us to a bigger vision. We know that if we want to move to the next level, we need to strategize with others.

We are also asked to connect to the unusual. Our creative core is awakened: We feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways. Our consciousness expands, we are receptive to new ways of thinking, new patterns of living; this increased openness to all that is new and different may bring opportunities out of the blue.

Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality and progress. Uranus in Aries, aligned with the Sun, asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from stepping up our game. Shifts are happening everywhere. It's time to develop some courage and awareness: Where do you want to step up? If you made a big leap, where might you land?

One thing to remember: Keeping the heart and mind open could make a big difference to the experience of this alignment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Tuesday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 4:42pm EDT, we enter an 8.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC), which last until 1:08am EDT (Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between your need for deep emotional connections, versus the value you place on material safety and physical "wants” — as best as you can, allow for both.

If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your afternoon/evening ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Tuesday evening, a challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 8:07pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday morning on; it will be strong until this Thursday morning. We are being invited to grow and make some changes in our lives. Especially in terms of our thinking processes. We have tremendous focus and drive right now, which can tip into obsession.

With this aspect an all-or-nothing attitude is very likely. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that we are inclined to do now. However, our determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to rip away falsehoods and expose true motives, can be used for good if we employ it in our work, for example, in regards to investigations or research.

This is an opportunity to learn to harness our intense mental energy and apply it productively. We are also capable of very hard work, focus and effort now. We also have a great love of debate now, but should be careful that we don't overpower others with our strong opinions, attempting to "convert" them to our frame of mind, or treat regular exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds.

As best as you can, connect to others, empowering them with what you feel passionate about. Choose your words carefully, from a deeply connected and empowered place.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-19 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Wednesday at 1:08am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Friday morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now"; we pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate.

Wednesday morning, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in 16.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 8:20am EDT. We started feeling  this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday morning. An important insight is building, something new is preparing to enter consciousness – and we are getting the urge to move forward. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel enthusiastic and excited by these fresh ideas and insights.

It's a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t “get” our new insights. Nervousness and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.

Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. Insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, and the like is likely. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions, and get grounded in your body ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-20 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Last but not least on Wednesday: at 12:57pm EDT, Jupiter comes to a halt in 12.5 degrees of Leo and goes direct again. As mentioned in Monday’s forecast, Jupiter's energy will be felt most strongly at this time.

The Jupiter retrograde gave us a chance to tap our inner wisdom, optimism and sense of possibility. It was a chance to learn more about how the world works from our inner understanding. We got to choose our “true beliefs”, especially in regards to our inner child energy (joy, enthusiasm and creativity) -- and learned which beliefs serve us, and which don't.

This process of internal connection to our wisdom and our ability to grow has been underway for the past four months. As Jupiter slowly starts to pick up speed again, it will return our focus to the outside world — a process that will be complete by April 14th. Where would you look for your inner wisdom? If your inner child had a voice and could speak, what might it say?

Thursday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Wednesday very early morning for details).

Thursday starts with a blast of energy, optimism, and unorthodox thinking. In the early afternoon, we may have to slow down a little, and make adjustments. Our mind and “intuitive body” may fight each other a little today: As best as you can, stay flexible and make room for both mental exploration and intuitive sensing.

On Thursday at 1:42pm EDT, we enter a 19-hour Moon void of course (VoC); this lasts until 8:47am EDT (Friday morning). Use this intuitive time to enjoy an adventure or exciting activities. We have plenty of energy... So enjoy -- and go for it! If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your afternoon/evening ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Thursday night/Friday very early morning, the Sun aligns with Mercury in almost 20 degrees of Aries. This is exact at 12am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until Saturday morning. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks -- we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

In general, we have a strong need to take an active role in communications -- it is very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are usually strong during this time; we like to think independently and are proud of our opinions and our thoughts. For this reason, our egos might get bruised if we are not "heard" -- if our opinions are pushed aside, ignored or criticized. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have different opinions… and that's ok.

We may be particularly proud during this time -- we just need to make sure that pride doesn’t cut us off from others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

The Pluto station intensifies today (Friday), as it is preparing to come to a halt next week Thursday (April 16th) — getting ready for its 5-month retrograde phase. This station will last until May 3rd.

As I mentioned last week already, when an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort and observe what comes up.

Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness -- and to our deepest passions.

It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or "death" into "rebirth". Those terms don't necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.

When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity -- and feel a newness and empowerment from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul's purpose (your deep authentic Self).

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling  fully  empowered  from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Friday morning at 8:47am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Sunday early afternoon. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.

We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-) This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Saturday late evening)…more on that tomorrow…

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Saturday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Friday morning for details).

On Saturday at 11:20am EDT, Venus changes signs from steady, calm, sensual Taurus, to chatty, social, versatile Gemini. Venus, the energy of love, “relating" and finances will journey through Gemini until May 7th: For the next 4 weeks, we value mental stimulation and frequent changes of scenery in our love relationships.

We love connecting and sharing ourselves with others. As long as we don't get bored, we will stick around -- but as soon as we disengage mentally, we begin to thirst for interesting conversations with new people, in new places and/or situations. Love is playful and lighthearted for the next four weeks and humor plays a part in all our relationships.

Our finances might fluctuate at this time, as we don't invest in anything for long enough to know whether it would have actually made a profit. That said, this sign-change actually favors financial transactions that benefit from speed, or wide dispersal of resources -- it's a great time for short-term investments.

As best as you can, stay open-minded and flexible toward love and finances. Curiosity towards life and love is a great gift as Venus moves through Gemini -- you never know where things will go at this time — and if nothing else, that attitude makes it hard to be bored for even a second ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more chatty for the next 4 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to friends and have several activities going all at once. Learning or teaching something new might be just the thing for you to do right now. If you are a Gemini Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign

Saturday at 11:44pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in Capricorn will be exact. The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in pioneering, fast-paced Aries. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon (on April 18th).

With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since late March/early April? What did it mean for you?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-24 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon.

Sunday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 1:44pm EDT (see Friday morning for details).

Sunday starts with a 9.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) (it goes from 4:15amuntil 1:44pm EDT). You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, we have a need for mature, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for rapid progress toward goals, with your thoughts moving a mile a minute, impatiently and enthusiastically hurling you forward into the unknown. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments (and find creative solutions) when it comes to resolving these desires. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow ;-)

Sunday early afternoon, an opportune Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:22pm EDT. This gives us the opportunity to take steady actions that are in alignment with our dreams and ideals. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday. This is an opportunity for boundaries to resolve, to be more open and relaxed.

Creative or spiritual activities might be a good fit with this planetary connection. We may feel the need to daydream or inspire others. What might it mean, to take "inspired action"? What might show up in the world? What if you allowed the Universe to co-create with you? What if you allowed your body and heart to connect in unison?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following placements: 7-11 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)

Sunday at 1:44pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Sunday afternoon for details). It is going to be an interesting day: We need to make some adjustments and “think different”... And we’re also lively and edgy. We are outgoing and want to connect, play games and express our unique spark. It’s going to be an unusual day and surprising… If you can, connect with like-minded people… ;-)

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja
