Daily Astrological posts & announcements:
Last week was one of huge healing -- facing insecurities and parts of myself that I had a hard time integrating and embracing. Feelings of being capable (vs. incapable) came up big time. My need for being perfect and in control of my life... and my judgment around all of it. Feelings of overwhelm, of inadequacy -- I really got stuck in a fear-based vibration there for a couple of days…
Thanks to all the wonderful healers that I see on a regular basis, I was able to do lots of healing, releasing and clearing, bringing lots of conscious awareness and compassion to all that I am. I am very grateful for this experience. It has taught me so much about myself… another layer… going deeper all the time ;-) All this was definitely connected to the Chiron station and Saturn being back in Scorpio…
This week's headline items: the Full Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Wednesday evening and the Chiron station ends on Sunday. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for almost 15 hours), Friday morning (for almost 2 hours), and Sunday morning (for almost 2 hours).
Monday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. It will journey there until Wednesday early morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.
We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now". We pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is the key -- we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate.
Monday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:26am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Friday of next week. This aspect helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual in romance and finance. We are ready to experiment -- but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize.
This is an especially good time for financial undertakings involving any of the following: technology and the internet; metaphysics; the arts; group activities. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, this could be a good couple of days for the stock market indexes :-)
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Leo, Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Tuesday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday for details).
Tuesday at 2:18pm EDT, we enter an almost 15-hour Moon void of course (VoC); this lasts until 5:11am EDT (Wednesday morning). Use this intuitive time to explore and express yourself in new ways… See if you can have a new perspective on “fun” ;-) As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.
Tuesday afternoon, asomewhat challenging Jupiter/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:31pm EDT — for the second time within the past 5 months. This aspect started to make itself known last Wednesday already (June 24th); it will be strong until this Sunday (July 5th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.
Positive thinking is not going to heal everything: We are now called to learn more about our inner joy and about connecting from the heart. There is a particular emphasis on our beliefs around self-expression and creating from a confident, heart-centered place.
At the same time, we feel the need to find time for compassionate and loving self-connection, healing our emotional and spiritual wounds through an inner awareness of unconditional love and faith.
By remaining flexible and making inner adjustments, we can bring clarity (rather than judgment) to both of those energies, and thereby explore them on a deeper level.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-23 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)
Wednesday very early morning, a Venus/Jupiter alignment in 21.5 degrees of Leo becomes exact at 3:51am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Friday on, it will be strong until this Sunday. This connection brings a certain optimism to our social and personal relationships at this time, with the ability to come from the heart.
Humor and romance are playing a big role in our interactions with others, as are tolerance, generosity and playfulness.
Financially speaking, things are "on the up" -- we may be able to plump up our pocketbooks. Best investment areas: stock market, anything to do with children, fun and games.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Venus's movements and aspects)
Wednesday at 5:11am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Friday morning. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.
We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)
With Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) transiting through Scorpio again for the summer, this is a great time to go within and face our fears. It's also a great time to go deeper on an emotional/intimate level with ourselves and others. As best as you can, be authentic about who you are and what you feel passionate about. This also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon that will be exact later today…
Wednesday afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:10pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday evening on and it will be strong until this Sunday morning. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.
We are feeling especially intuitive during this time. We are inspired, and charitable acts now will lift our spirits. We are more likely to see matters (and people) from a different perspective --one that allows for differences and even finds beauty in them. Our capacity for compassion (both with ourselves and with others) is quite strong as well.
Creativity is at an all-time high, as our imagination runs in full gear; any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will do very well.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Wednesday late evening at 10:20pm EDT, the Full Moon becomes exact in almost 10 degrees of Capricorn. As I already mentioned, the entrance of the Moon into Capricorn on earlier this morning started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon: The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn opposes the Sun in protective, feeling-oriented Cancer.
For the next two weeks, we are looking for balance; we are more aware than everthat something is out of alignment. The balance in question is between our inner experience (symbolized by Cancer) and our outer obligations or goals (Capricorn). It's important to realize that our long-term goals need our attention -- and that they will bring fulfillment and inner stability.
Cancer and Capricorn are both receptive/feminine/yin energies, so we are clearly asked to go within before taking action. Cancer must recognize its own needs in order to feel internally stable; if we don’t manage this, we’ll give our power away to others, become victims, sacrifice ourselves for family and/or job.
Capricorn must therefore develop an internalized sense of authority and responsibility. This Full Moon asks us look closely at the balance between taking care of ourselves, versus taking care of others -- where we have reached our limit and where we need to set some priorities. I will be posting a video on this subject on Monday evening: click here to watch
This Full Moon connects with Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer. Pluto’s alignment with the Moon in Capricorn has us take a closer look at the lower vibrations of Capricorn and Cancer: the unsustainable desire to take care of anyone but ourselves. Pluto gives us the ability to face our fears and release what no longer serves our evolution.
Mars is involved here as well, so there is an emphasis on connecting to the supportive, safeguarding side of the sacred masculine. This masculine energy fights for loved ones like a grizzly bear. This placement in opposition to Pluto is definitely going to test our courage and our compassion. Allow yourself to be passionate and assertive without being destructive and obsessive. It is also an opportunity to rebalance the masculine and feminine within ourselves and the world.
Neptune in 10 degree of Pisces makes a beautiful trine to the Sun in Cancer and a sextile to the Moon in Capricorn. This combo softens the intensity of the Pluto/Mars connections to this Lunation; it reminds us of our spiritual origin and identity as a child of the cosmos. As best as you can, use compassion and your ability to connect to the inner observer to help balance the Cancer/Capricorn polarities.
Venus aligns with Jupiter in Leo at the time of the Full Moon, and because of Venus’s upcoming retrograde phase, she is going to stay close to Jupiter until August 17th. This expands the flow of generosity, joy, playfulness and our ability to connect to the inner child or children in general.
On July 6th, the Sun will square the degree of the Lunar Eclipse that occurred back on April 4th. Watch for important insights and developments on that day: It’s a turning point for us and will bring more clarity as to where things need to go next. It’s time to act on what we have learned since that April 4th eclipse.
Once again, the message of a Full Moon is connected to our internal masculine/feminine balance: We need be happy and whole. A healthy masculine is assertive, focused, self-directed risk-taking; a healthy feminine is supportive, passionate, understanding and compassionate.
When the feminine and masculine energies are balanced, we can be both powerful and kind; we honor ourselves and others and know how to access both our head and our heart. We are building a new world -- through a new consciousness -- a new humanity, a new beingness. One human, one day, one breath at a time.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-12 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo, the Moon rules Cancer).
Thursday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Wednesday morning for details).
Thursday afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:50pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will be strong until this Friday. This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.
This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, or to put a new spin on our "old" thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights -- this might be a busy day. As best as you can -- and as much as you want to -- stay open to other dimensions ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Friday at 6:38am EDT, we enter an almost 2-hour Moon void of course (VoC); this lasts until 8:21am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others in an authentic and truthful way, perhaps even build some long-term relationships -- slowing down might bring an opportunity for meaningful connections. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.
Friday at 8:21am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Sunday late morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.
Friday late morning, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:06am EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.
That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself -- and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) :-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 18-25 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Friday evening, an opportune Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact 8:53pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect is an opportunity for expanding our thinking and expressing ourselves in a confident and optimistic way; we share what's important to us from a place of open-mindedness and excitement.
This connection also creates a possibility for expansion by stepping into uncharted territory. Humor can be a great way to tap into this energetic combo. This planetary connection also favors short trips, writing, teaching, studying, and making observations. We more readily exercise good judgment, take a more philosophical approach to thinking, and are more open to learning.
Again, with any opportunity... we have to take it: It requires taking actions on our part. What can you do that will instill confidence in your exploration of the mind? Is there a new mental process that is asking to be explored?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-25 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Libra or Aries? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Saturday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Friday morning for details).
For most of the day (on Saturday), we have a chance to get connected to others, have great brainstorming moments, and get lots done. Later on, towards the later evening, we are being asked to find a balance between the head and the heart, our vision for the future versus our desire for bliss in the here and now.
Sunday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 10:23am EDT (see Friday morning for details).
Sunday early morning, an opportune Mercury/Venus aspect becomes exact at 4:19am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Friday. This aspect gives us the opportunity for more direct and caring connections to others.
Through enhanced communication, we have a chance to clear up any misunderstandings or discomfort from the past. Promises and clarifications may grow from this, particularly in love relationships. It is also an opportune time to make new social contacts. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to "take" them.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in 22-26 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Aries or Libra? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)
Sunday at 8:32am EDT, we enter an almost 2-hour Moon void of course (VoC); this lasts until 10:23am EDT. We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel a strong need to break the rules and move towards our future visions, on the other hand, we need to focus on our inner experiences — and take responsibility for who we are deep down -- face our fears, look at our emotional attachments and any addictions or outdated behaviors.
As best as you can, use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little and find creative solutions to honor both drives. As always during VoC, take it easy -- just go with the flow, rather than starting anything brand-new.
Sunday at 10:23am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Tuesday early afternoon. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns.
Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us. As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)
Lastly, also on Sunday, Chiron resumes its normal pace through the sky, although retrograde, ending its station. What has come up in the last three weeks around emotional or spiritual wounds/insecurities? How are you doing at embracing your own humanity, trusting the flow of life or allowing yourself to be an emotional being? Now is a good time to do some internal work in these areas (until the retrograde phase ends on Nov. 28th).
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Sunday evening for details). A Sun/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 11:38am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will be strong until Thursday morning of next week.
This opposition is all about "empowerment versus disempowerment". On an interpersonal level, we may try to gain more control over other people, or they may try to gain control over our actions. A balance needs to be struck, between our focus on family/home issues, and our obsession with work/career issues..….more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
Have a fantastic week!
This past week was one of ups and downs. I definitely felt the Chiron station -- I got triggered a couple of times -- and directing compassion and understanding towards myself and others was what helped me get through it. I also had some really wonderful experiences that I attribute to the Neptune station -- beautiful walks in nature, lots of resting and reconnecting to my intuition and inner divinity :-)
This week's headline items: on Tuesday, Mars squares the Solar Eclipse degree from March 20th; Wednesday morning, the first Quarter Moon in Libra becomes exact, while Chiron comes to a halt and Mars changes signs from Gemini to Cancer; on Friday, the Neptune station ends; and on Saturday, Mercury finally moves out of its shadow.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday very early morning (for a half an hour), Thursday evening (for 18.5 hours), and Sunday evening (for 1.5 hours).
Monday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day. It will journey until Wednesday early morning. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.
Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals.
Monday late morning, along-term harmonious Jupiter/Uranus aspect becomes exact, for the second time this year, at 9:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from May 27th on; it will be strong until July 10th. While it lasts, we can bring innovation, courage and our unique spark to everything we do, express and create.
We also yearn for excitement, adventure, and fun -- exciting outdoor activities might appeal. It is much easier now for us to break away from old belief structures. This wish to be independent and "experimental" helps us connect to our creative processes in a new way.
Do you have your Ascendant or personal planets in 16-23 degrees of Leo, Aries or Leo? If so, you will feel more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Aquarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius).
Tuesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday for details).
Tuesday afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 2:08pm EDT. This aspect has already been in place for most of May and early June, due to Mercury’s retrograde phase. This time around, we started to feel this aspect build from last Friday on; it will be strong until this Friday.
This aspect, once again, asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We all have assumptions and preconceived notions about others, the world and life; we are asked to stretch a little around these assumptions.
We might find it hard to follow directions and instructions at this time. Difficulties concentrating on hard, cold facts are likely; in fact, we may question facts altogether, or avoid getting pinned down on answers. As you can imagine, this is not the best time for signing any contracts. Perceptions can be confused, unrealistic, or too idealistic to carry weight in the real world; conversations may be vague.
As best as you can, during this time, follow your heart -- and let yourself be guided by your artistic or spiritual side. If you can, put off hard decisions until June 27th… and be compassionate with yourself and others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Back on March 20th, a Solar Eclipse occurred in 29 degrees of Pisces: On Tuesday at 2:22pm EDT, Mars (in a late degree of Gemini) squares this same Solar Eclipse degree. Observe how this plays out for you today: What are you looking to let go of? What needs to change? What adjustments or creative solutions might clear the way for you to move forward powerfully with an open heart?
Right after that, a somewhat challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:36pm EDT. It will contribute to feeling either a lack of physical energy, or a need to focus on our commitments with others. We started to feel this aspect from Suhnday on; it will be strong until Wednesday. Too much work and too narrow a spectrum of relating could leave us feeling slightly victimized by life right now.
Make the necessary adjustments as best as you can. We create our own limits; slowing and quieting down helps us see this. If we have a better sense of time, we can do less and achieve more -- and we can do this as soon as we balance our outlook and start to use our judgment less comparatively.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 28+29 degrees of Gemini or Scorpio or0degrees of Cancer or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Finally, Chiron will come to a halt tomorrow morning (Wednesday). We will most likely be feeling its energy quite strongly between now and Thursday. Wounds from the past, insecurities, feelings of shame or guilt, anything that needs our compassion or understanding… anything calling for a more holistic approach… allowing ourselves to be human… All of these things may be confronting you right now; as best as you can, let it simply be what it is right now ;-)
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning at 1:12am EDT, we enter a half hour Moon void of course (VoC) which lasts until 1:41am EDT. If you are not sleeping at this time, take a break from whatever you are doing and breath deeply into your belly, allowing for all thinking to slow down. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow.
At 1:41am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.
We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.
Wednesday morning at 7:03am EDT, the first Quarter Moon becomes exact, in 2.5 degrees of Libra. We start to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon enters Libra on Friday morning. The Moon in relationship-oriented, balance-seekingLibra makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in protective, introvertedCancer.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on June 16th. If we began a project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now -- and facing its first obstacles. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 0-5 degrees of Libra, Cancer, Aries or Capricorn? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Wednesday at 7:36am EDT, Chiron comes to a halt at 21.5 degrees of Pisces. As you may recall from last week, Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, it brings our attention towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. This is the beginning of Chiron's 5-month retrograde phase, that lasts until Nov.28th. Until then, we are getting a chance to connect to our wounds and insecurities on a more internal level.
We may need to put our emotional or spiritual wounds under the magnifying glass; while they are there, take a closer look at how you can bring compassion and understanding to them. What might you discover about those wounds, if you really looked? How could others benefit from your discoveries?
Do you have your Ascendant, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 19-24 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you will probably feel the effects of this station more than others.
Wednesday at 9:33am EDT, Mars changes signs from curious, versatile, information-craving Gemini to protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer, where it will journey until August 8th. For these next six and a half weeks, protecting and preserving ourselves and our loved ones takes on a higher than usual priority. A sensitivity to the needs and wants of others and an appreciation for their frailties (as well as our own) makes us more cautious and conservative ...we pick our battles with care.
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more emotional during this time. You may experience more conflict at home or the need to assert yourself with your loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.
Thursday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday very early morning for details).
Thursday at 7:22pm EDT, we enter a 18.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) which lasts until 1:52pm EDT (Friday afternoon). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to express yourself fully and fairly with others, seeking balance and the bigger picture. If possible, plan the evening and the next day ahead of time, or stick to routine tasks. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow. Friday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and VoC until 1:57pm EDT (see Wednesday very early morning and Thursday evening for details).
Friday at 1:57pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Sunday late evening. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.
As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky, although retrograde, ending its station today (Friday). What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition? Now is a good time to do some internal work in this area (until the retrograde phase ends on Nov.18th).
Saturday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday afternoon for details).
Mercury leaves it’s shadow today (Saturday very early morning)! Around 12:30am EDT: Mercury is leaving its shadow phase at 13 degrees of Gemini! We are ready to process (and share) brand-new information. As you may recall from earlier blog entries, if you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it's best to avoid the shadow periods before and after Mercury goes retrograde.
This is especially true if the items you are thinking about getting are connected to transportation (cars, flight tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, i-pad, etc.) The shadow phase having ended, feel free to buy, sell and book whatever your heart desires! Feel free to also read my blog on the subject ;-)
Sunday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Friday afternoon for details).
Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 4:20am EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Monday morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.
Our compulsive side may lead us down a path that evades rational understanding. Our judgments -- of circumstances, ourselves, others -- can be so extreme that we aren't able to make intelligent and consistent progress in our life right now.
As best as you can, strive to be more trusting and less strict with yourself for these three days. Surrender to whatever you are experiencing right now: It is temporary ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-16 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Sunday at 9:50pm EDT, we enter a 1.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) which lasts until 11:21pm EDT. Guide your intuition toward commitments concerning intimate relationships. Connect with loved ones on a deep emotional level: emotional authenticity will be rewarded. As always during VoC, go with the flow, and avoid starting anything brand-new.
Sunday at 11:21pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning.
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius (see Sunday late evening for details); a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:26am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Friday of next week. This aspect helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual in romance and finance. We are ready to experiment -- but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize…more details in next week’s forecast ;-)
Have a fantastic week!
Last week had lots of turbulence… It definitely called for lots of rethinking, re-organizing -- and at the same time, allowing and being in the flow of things… No wonder, with both Mercury and Neptune stationing (and therefore exalted). Mercury went direct on Thursday evening and things started to untangle themselves a little. At week’s end though, the Chiron station brought up insecurities, and a sense of woundedness… I thank the Universe for the Neptune station: it was very helpful to grant myself some compassion, and simply allow myself to “be with what is, as it is”.
This week's headline items: the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Tuesday late morning; the Chiron station intensifies on Wednesday evening; Mercury's station ends on Thursday evening; on Saturday, the Sun squares the Solar Eclipse degree (from March 20th). On Sunday afternoon, we can start taking actions on our New Moon intentions, and the Sun also changes signs from Gemini to Cancer — (this is also the beginning of summer).
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for 9 hours), Friday very early morning (for half an hour), and Sunday early afternoon (for 50 minutes).
Monday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini. It will journey there until Tuesday evening. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.
Monday finds three planets moving at a slower pace through the zodiac: -- and therefore, with their energies exalted:
First, we have Mercury (communication, learning, sharing). It ended it’s retrograde phase last Thursday and is moving forward again. That said, it will not resume its regular speed until Thursday evening (more on that later this week).
Next: Neptune (universal love, inspiration, dreams). Neptune started it’s 5-month retrograde phase last Friday; it will get back to it’s regular speed next week, on June 26th
Finally: Chiron (the wounded healer -- healing through compassion and understanding). Chiron started to slow down last Friday — it starts a 5-month retrograde phase next week (June 24th), and won't get back to its regular speed until July 5th (more about that in Wednesday’s entry).
Signs most affected by these stations: Gemini, Virgo, Pisces and Sagittarius.
As Monday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.
Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.
Tuesday is one of those really big days!
Tuesday at 10:05am EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in 25 degrees of Gemini. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in curious, quick-witted, chatty, versatile Gemini, we are asked to connect to others and share our little hearts out for this New Moon cycle :-)
This is a busy energy, focused on communicating and collecting information: We are invited to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind. What needs to go? If thoughts were like a building, what new thought structures would we want to build? For a more detailed understanding watch my New Moon video on the subject.
Gemini is asking us to stay in motion. It’s asking that we think through what we’ll need to know, if we are to move forward, share ourselves, and connect with others. Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: Who’s on either side of my "inner dialog"? What thoughts and mental processes do I stick with, that don't serve my development?
The spiritual goal of Gemini is the development of perception, thought, and communication. New connections are created in the brain with each new thought or memory; the more we think a particular thought, the “deeper" the pathways become.
Mercury is direct again. This helps us implement realizations from the past three weeks, about ourselves, our environment, and our habits and thought patterns.
Another thing to note about Mercury: It is in 5 degrees of Gemini at the time of the New Moon, still squaring Neptune in Pisces. Just like the Full Moon from two week’s ago, this is asking us to stretch and grow -- to make necessary adjustments to patterns of thought and communication -- a good dose of compassion for ourselves and others will help us with this.
We may also want to consider that each thought we have creates a wave -- a vibration that other receive and pick up on. If someone is in tune with their intuition, they will pick up on it more easily; others will feel it on an unconscious level. What if the thought you are thinking right now is experienced by everyone around you?
Mars aligns with this month’s New Moon in Gemini. This shows us how ready we are for a new image and expression of our "inner warrior”. We need to examine how this energy is serving us internally and in the outer world. Whether for a man or a woman, imagine a masculine side that has matured into a “spiritual warrior” -- focused on the inner journey, dedicated to self-mastery through victory over ignorance, fear and illusions. What would be possible with an army of these “warriors”?
Chiron (the wounded Healer) is exalted at the time of this New Moon, as it is getting ready to go retrograde on June 24th. It squares Mars & the New Moon, challenging us to heal the wounds of the past, particularly those connected to the masculine energies. Both genders are being invited to take a good look at the damaging actions and attitudes of the past -- men have had to shut down their hearts and deny their sensitivity; women have either given up their power and become submissive, or have “joined” the men who locked away their hearts.
When we deal with issues from anger, rather than love, we are not serving ourselves or the collective. We are at a turning point; we realize more and more, that humanity’s evolution and survival requires actions and attitudes that come from an open heart -- and the willingness to make and allow mistakes.
As we heal ourselves, we heal the collective; as we embrace our inner tyrant and victim, we recover our heart and our birthright: We are as we have always been... whole, perfect and complete.
Saturn reentered Scorpio on June 14th; it’s now in 29 degrees of Scorpio, which gives us the opportunity to recognize and confront any remaining fears and unconscious patterns that have held us back. What did you learn about yourself between Oct.2012 - Dec. 2014? What pulled at your attention during that time? What fears or habits did you release? Is there any residue?
This New Moon also makes a beautiful trine to the North Node in Libra, bringing a lovely flow to social interactions and making it easier to move forward on our Soul’s Journey -- we feel supported and heard.
To sum it all up: This New Moon is an opportunity to go beyond past limits and experiment with new ways of "thinking about our mind”. Where has your mind been serving you? Where has it not been completely helpful? Where does it fit on the road ahead?
Some more questions you can ask yourself: How do I want to use this very powerful tool? Am I my mind... or am I more than that? Am I the thinker, or am I aware of thinking happening? It’s important to really check when asking these questions -- look at your direct experience, rather than received ideas.
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 23-27 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly.
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. The first 48 hours after the time of the New Moon are the most potent to write down intentions for the next 28 days — so this month, the best and most potent time to set your intentionswill be any time between 6:51pm Tuesday evening and 10:05am EDT on Thursday late morning. Right when the New Moon becomes exact, we enter a 17-hour Moon void of course (VoC) which lasts until 6:51pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to be still. Connect to your body's wisdom -- pamper yourself and others. As best as you can, try to find new perspectives in regards to what you need most in order to feel nourished and nurtured. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow.
Tuesday at 6:51pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Friday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.
Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.
Wednesday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Tuesday evening for details).
Wednesday evening, the Chiron station intensifies, as Chiron comes to a halt next week, Wednesday (June 24th); we will feel effects of the station until July 5th. As mentioned in Monday’s forecast already, Chiron's energies are more exalted during this period.
Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to "make it on our own".
We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.
What emotional or spiritual sore spots could you acknowledge? What needs to heal? At a different level, this time might also see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.
Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC. or MC) in 20-23 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces will feel this station more strongly.
Thursday: theMoon remainsinprotective, introverted Cancer all day (see Tuesday evening for details).
Thursday: Mercury ends its station and gets back to its normal pace through the sky. We have a chance to implement everything we thought about during the retrograde phase and move forward with any thinking and/or communication issues that came up.
Friday at 1:52am EDT, we enter a half hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 2:23am EDT.Use this intuitive time to take a break that nurtures you (and your loved ones). Focusing on deeper emotional commitments is easier. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow.
Friday at 2:23am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Sunday afternoon. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?
Saturday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday very early morning for details).
Saturday starts out with lots of opportunities to get things done and move exciting projects forward -- but by the early afternoon, we begin to feel uneasy. We need to develop inner awareness around our sensitivities and bring compassion to them. In the afternoon and early evening, we have an opportunity to communicate our heart’s desire, and connect with others from the heart.
Towards the later evening, we are also being asked to bring some awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about -- as in the early afternoon, we feel an internal unease. Are we after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.
Also on Saturday: the Sun squares the Solar Eclipse degree (from March 20th), providing another cosmic nudge forward. What intentions did you set at the time of the Solar Eclipse in March? What would move you forward on those intentions at this time?
Sunday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 12:59pm EDT (see Friday very early morning for details).
Sunday afternoon at 12:09pm EDT, we enter a 50-minute Moon void of course (VoC) that ends at 1pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Fun or Business? Follow your bliss or long-term goals? Maybe there’s some way to turn “or” into “and” ;-)
Focus on your deepest commitments -- and give your “inner child” a play-date. As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and do your best not to judge yourself. If at all possible though, don't actually start anything brand-new -- and when in doubt, simply go with the flow.
Sunday at 12:38pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from busy, versatile Gemini to protective, sensitive Cancer. This also represents the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere. The Solstices are important turning points twice a year, as they are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through.
The Sun will journey through the sign of Cancer until July 22nd. When the Sun is in Cancer, we look for quality and safety in terms of what we want to create, and what we want to surround ourselves with. We experience life on a deeper, more instinctive level now.
We have less interest in what is universal, and more interest in what affects us personally (and what affects the people we care for and love). Our being is colored by our emotions, so it might be more challenging to be objective. Family, home and our inner world becomes our focus for the next 30 days.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Cancer, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your energy will move more inwards, focusing on family or your home.
Sunday at 1pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday early morning.
Sunday afternoon: If you set intentions on Tuesday evening or Wednesday, after the New Moon became exact, Sunday after 1pm EDT is the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Sunday afternoon for details), along-term harmonious Jupiter/Uranus aspect becomes exact, for the second time this year, at 9:46am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from June 1st on; it will be strong until July 10th ….more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
Have a fantastic week!
