Accepting Our Own Idiosyncrasies -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept.28th - Sun., Oct.4th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was full of electrifying energies and my sleep patterns were much shorter than usual :-) No wonder, with all that Eclipse energy, plus Pluto being exalted in the sky -- deep breaths were required, as was self-care in general! I also felt the energies of Mercury retrograde, as I made mistakes in my writing and chart preparation... This gave rise to many opportunities to practice self-compassion and -forgiveness ;-)

This week's headline items: we will continue to feel the Lunar Eclipse all week; the last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact on Sunday afternoon. In addition, there will be three Moon Void of Course (VoC) phases this week: Tuesday very early morning (for a little over 11 hours), Thursday early morning (almost 9.5 hours), and Saturday afternoon (7 hours).

We had a Lunar Eclipse in Aries yesterday (Sunday late evening); it was also a SuperMoon. For more details on this powerful Full Moon, click here and watch my video on the subject

Monday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

Monday morning, we may need to make some adjustments and think outside the box, if we want to move forward with our plans and projects: flexibility and adaptability are key! Towards the evening, we feel energized and ready to get things done. This could be quite an electric, energetic evening for us; as best as you can, pay attention to your breathing, so you can stay grounded ;-)

Tuesday at 3:45am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last a little over 11 hours, until 2:57pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to take actions that are connected to your heart. Physical exercise that's also fun could be great today -- playing with kids would also be perfect. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.

Tuesday at 2:57pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.

Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down... We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)

Tuesday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:19pm EDT. This could contribute either to some mental confusion and spaciness, or the need to communicate with others from our imagination (but possibly not knowing how to achieve that). We started to feel this aspect from Monday morning on; it will be strong until Wednesday evening.

This aspect operates more on an internal level: We feel uneasy about something, sort of "awkward" -- and we need to make a choice. Sometimes, imagination and mind can run way ahead of what is actually feasible (and sensible). At these times, the grand vision is best served by focusing on the next concrete step, accepting our own idiosyncrasies as we go.

Honesty is crucial here, especially self-honesty; inner awareness is in turn crucial to deep honesty and authenticity. What's true for you? What might be possible for humanity? Where do those overlap?

Note that I say "overlap": Don't look for an exact fit, this is more like two puzzle pieces that came from different jigsaw puzzles. You might keep looking at the imperfect fit and feel a nagging sense that something doesn't make sense… but it doesn't -- it can't. The pieces are not from the same game. Just do your best to "hang out" with the discomfort, rather than repeatedly trying to figure it out and fix it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-9 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Wednesday late morning, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 7.5 degrees of Libra becomes exact at 10:38am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Thursday evening. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks -- we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

In general, we have a strong need to take an active role in communications; it is very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Remember that Mercury is still retrograde; so, use your intuition when communicating with others. Maybe something needs to be re-communicated from a couple of weeks ago…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-9 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Wednesday late evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:05pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Thursday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

Our energy tends to be directed unrealistically right now. Our sense of self may change as we learn that we wrongly assessed important situations. Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle -- if we feel drained or frustrated at this time, it might be helpful to look at our overall direction in life to see if this is the case.

It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in our dreams? As best as you can, slow down: "If a thing is worth having, it's worth waiting for."

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-9 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces)

Thursday at 6:44am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last almost 9.5 hours, until 4:03pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions to the seeming conflict between your needs around practical matters/finances, versus a need for fun and feeling self-expressed.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at 4:03pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Saturday evening. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.

While Mercury is retrograde, we may need to slow things down a little, tapping into a more intuitive place for all interactions. Rather than initiating new contacts, consider revitalizing old ones; likewise, it’s also best to revisit conversations from the past three to four weeks, rather than starting new ones.

Friday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Fridaymorning is a great time to connect with others and collaborate. From the late morning on, we might need to make adjustments or perhaps stretch and grow a little around our beliefs and attitudes, and our inner emotional experience. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.

Saturday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 8:22pm EDT (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Saturday at 1:18pm EDT, we enter a 7-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 8:22pm EDT.Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with others and have some fun. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new. If possible, plan your afternoon ahead of time, or stick to routine things.

Saturday at 8:22pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.

Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies. This Moon placement starts the build up towards last Quarter Moon (exact on Sunday late afternoon).

Sunday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Saturday evening for details).

Sunday at 5:06pm EDT, the last Quarter Moonin 11 degrees of Cancer will become exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Cancer from Saturday evening on.The Moon in protective, nurturing Cancermakes a challenging aspect to the Sun harmony-oriented, idealistic Libra. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.

This Moon phase brings us closer to Oct.12th's New Moon in Libra. During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing existing projects, rather than launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover over the past three weeks? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn or Aries? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Saturday evening for details). At 7:04am EDT, we enter a 21.5-hour  Moon void of course (VoC) which last until 4:31am EDT (Tuesday very early morning)... more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Another head's up! My fees will be going up in early October: to buy Readings or Coaching sessions before this happens, click here. Any session bought in September can be used any time until March 2016!

Have a fantastic week!

Choose Your Words Carefully -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept.21st - Sun., Sept.27th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week, I could feel my mind wanting to jump into my to-do list -- and there was an immediate feeling of overwhelm that accompanied those thoughts. I reminded myself lovingly to stay in the here and now and take it one step at a time. Prioritize, focus on what's right in front of me, and stay connected to my heart -- which has the wisdom to know that all is well :-) Thank God for my Heart :-)

This week's headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Monday morning. On Tuesday, Mercury's station ends, and we have the Fall Equinox -- the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra. Mars changes signs from Leo to Virgo on Thursday, late in the evening; Pluto comes to a halt on Friday very early in the morning; finally, a powerful Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Aries becomes exact on Sunday late evening.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week, three of them long: Monday morning (for 3.5 hours), Tuesday evening (for a little over 18.5 hours), Thursday night/Friday very early morning (for almost 16 hours), and Saturday early afternoon (for 25 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 8:33am EDT. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now"; we pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate.

Monday at 4:59am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 28 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Sagittarius last Friday, late evening. The Moon in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, which was also a Solar Eclipse on Sept.13th. If we set some intentions on Sept.15th or 16th, we are now ready to make some adjustments. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

Remember that we are still in Eclipse season (until Oct.12th) and therefore we don't have all the information we need to move new projects forward. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 26-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or Pisces, or 0 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Cancer or Aries? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

At the same moment as the first Quarter Moon becomes exact, we enter a 3.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). This last until 8:33am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life. As best as you can, find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations: make space both for exploring new avenues, and taking care of daily routines or your health. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.

Monday at 8:33am EDTthe Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.

We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Tuesday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:56am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Thursday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

There may be vague feelings of discontent in relationships, or perhaps a choice that needs to be made, regarding personal relationships, money or values. Insecurities involving others might make it awkward for us to express our affections naturally or organically. By embracing our own humanity, we are able to create some healing for ourselves and others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-21 degrees of Leo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Tuesday evening at 7:13pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last little over 18.5-hour, until 1:51pm EDT (Wednesday afternoon). We may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, we have a need for mature, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for rapid progress toward goals, we may want to move a mile a minute, impatiently and enthusiastically hurling ourselves forward into the unknown.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always during VoC, stick to routine tasks, rather than starting anything brand-new; or simply go with the flow ;-)

Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, a harmonious Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at exactly Midnight EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Tuesday on; it will be strong until this Sunday. This aspect helps us to embrace all that is new and unusual in romance and finance. We are ready to experiment -- but not to commit. We have an offbeat, pleasant attitude and people are more willing to socialize.

This is an especially good time for financial undertakings involving any of the following: technology and the internet; metaphysics; the arts; group activities. We lose our fear of taking risks at this time, (all things being equal) this could be a good couple of days for the stock market indexes :-)

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Leo, Aries or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Wednesday is an eventful day:lots of planetary movements: First off,the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn and VoC until 1:51pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).

Wednesday at 4:21am EDT, the Sun changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 23rd. This signifies the beginning of Autumn in the northern hemisphere of this planet. The Fall Equinox is a energetic turning point from one season to the next. Equinoxes are super potent times for setting intentions. They are energetic gateways, where we experience the inter-relationship between light an dark, inner and outer, spirit and matter.

With the Sun entering Libra, we are being called to pay attention to our relationships. Bringing equality, cooperation and balance to our dealings with the world is recommended during this time. We have a keen awareness around issues of justice and we are more likely to take a stand against injustice, especially when it's directed against others.

However, we also want to keep the peace, so we may use language and our intellect to diplomatically address such issues. We can see all sides of a situation -- and therefore it's not always easy to make the "right" choices. Our desire for harmony is great;  more often than not -- consciously or unconsciously -- we may find ourselves seeking the approval of others.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Libra Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Libra, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more aware of the delicate balance that is required internally and externally in your life.

Wednesday at 1:51pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Wednesday afternoon,an opportune Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:36pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. This aspect provides an opportunity to stick to a specific task and make progress.

We have common sense at our disposal; we are willing to look reality in the eye and take responsibility for our lives. It is also an opportunity to focus on being grounded, authentic and stable. Again, remember: opportunities are openings, they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-2 degreesof Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Leo or 28-29 degrees of Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Last but not least, also on Wednesday, Mercury ends its station and gets back to its normal pace through the sky -- but moving backward through the sky as seen from Earth (that’s what “retrograde” refers to). We have a chance to do some internal work on any thinking and/or communication issues that came up over the last week.

Thursday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Thursday early evening, a challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 6:26pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Wednesday on; it will be strong until this Sunday evening. This aspect creates some tension in our lives. We may feel anxious or stressed by one or more situations or interactions to do with one-on-one relationships.

We are being invited to grow and make some changes in our lives, particularly in terms of our thinking processes. We are being asked tofind creative solutions and be completely honest with ourselves and others. The best way to achieve this is by the continual practice of self-care and self-nurturing.

We have tremendous focus and drive right now, which can tip into obsession. With this aspect an all-or-nothing attitude is very likely. Choose love over fear whenever possible. Not many people enjoy being second-guessed all the time, yet that is something that we are inclined to do now.

However, our determination to get to the bottom of any matter, to rip away falsehoods and expose true motives, can be used for good if we employ it in our work, for example, in regards to investigations or research. This is an opportunity to learn to harness our intense mental energy and apply it productively. We are also capable of very hard work, focus and effort now.

We have a great love of debate, but should be careful that we don't overpower others with our strong opinions, attempting to "convert" them to our frame of mind, or treat regular exchanges of opinion as battlegrounds. Connect to others, empowering them with what you feel passionate about. Choose your words carefully, from a deeply connected and empowered place.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Thursday late evening, at 10:18pm EDT, Mars changes signs from fun-loving, risk-taking Leo to detail-oriented, practical, service-oriented Virgo, where it will journey until Nov.12th. With Mars in Virgo, we are more inclined to put our energy towards a project that takes care of our day-to-day, practical matters or a health issues.

Creating order in our daily lives and knowing what's coming next is easier for us now. We are better at organizing, planning on a short-term scale, and doing errands at this time. We may feel that we do things better than others right now; therefore we may not give others a chance to improve their skills or show us a different way of doing something.

As best as you can, keep the focus on yourself and watch out for impatient outbursts or for the need to be right at all cost. Be of service to others, and remember that perfection is not a goal, it is a journey. How can you move towards improving things in your life, rather than having things be perfect all the time?

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused on details and health issues. If you are a Virgo Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized and passionate for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise, a work or health project might be advisable.

Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 12:02am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last almost 16-hour, until 3:43pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between your head and heart — and between a need for intellectual stimulation, versus joyful play with others (or even your inner child). As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.

Friday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 3:43pm EDT(see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Friday very early morning at 2:57am EDT, Pluto will come to a halt in almost 13 degrees ofCapricorn, going direct, after completing its 5-month retrograde phase (April 16th - Sept.25th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct.8th (please see last week's blog for more details).

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (Oct.8th).

During the retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within -- and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us on a deep emotional level.

For the last 5 months, we've needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now we can bring this inner authenticity to the outer world: We are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that were holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.

Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, inner strength and Soul's purpose, we are now ready to bring to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us in our journey towards authenticity. We can now build long-term goals that are in alignment with our Soul's purpose. Ask yourself: What do I "just know", deep down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Friday afternoon at 3:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday afternoon. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns. Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us.

As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

Friday evening, a challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:12pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Tuesday of next week. This is a "stretch" aspect -- characterized by an inner conflict -- as well as a maturity process that requires adjustments and flexibility on our part.

On the one hand, we want to start spiritual/creative projects and go with the flow, feeling our way through life. On the other, we have a strong focus on exploring “the truth” about life -- on reaching an understanding of what beliefs are truthful and align with our own experiences. As best as you can, make space for both of these.

We also tend to be more cautious now. We may experience a temporary loss of enthusiasm -- or setbacks that make us doubt our ability to win in life. We are learning to live life in moderation; this might be frustrating at first. Pushing too hard (or too fast) doesn't always get us the results we want: It might be time to slow down a little and catch our breath. That way, we can come back later, with a stronger, more mature set of expectations and approaches.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, or 28-29 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus or Leo? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars rules Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Saturday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Friday afternoon for details).

Saturday early afternoon at 12:32pm EDT, we enter a 25-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 3:29pm EDT (Sunday afternoon). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your higher Self -- while awake or through dreams -- and for bringing a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans, especially those connected to your Soul Purpose.

If at all possible, refrain from starting anything brand-new; plan your day ahead of time or stick to routine things. If nothing else… simply go with the flow.

Sunday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 3:29pm EDT (see Friday afternoon for details).

Sunday at 3:29pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity. This Moon placement also starts the built-up towards the Full Moon, which is also a Lunar Eclipse, exact Sunday late evening…

Sunday at 10:51pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moonin 4 degrees of Aries. This extra-powerful Full Moon is a Super Moon and the last Lunar Eclipse in this cycle. As such, its energy is more intense than the typical Full Moon. Given that it's happening in the Aries/Libra polarity, it's all about becoming aware of the role we identify with in our various one-on-one relationships -- and then taking action, perhaps even redefining those roles.

Lunar Eclipses generally bring attention to our "emotional body" and connect us more fully to our Soul’s journey (shown by the Moon Nodes). We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. This being a total Lunar Eclipse, life-changing revelations are more likely over the next two weeks (and with them, shifts in our consciousness...)

This particular Eclipse focuses on independence: Where do we need to be more assertive? More accommodating? Are we too independent? Not enough? What roles or contracts need to be redefined or released?

We are also invited to look at the balance of feminine and masculine within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Where has this gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much of either?

In the case of this particular Full Moon, we not only have a Sun/Moon opposition, but also a Sun/Mercury & North Node alignment in Libra. This is a call for communicative, equal, and mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships.

Mercury is currently retrograde in Libra, while squaring Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto went direct a couple of days before the Eclipse; thus its energy is exalted. As such, we are strongly invited to go within before speaking and communicating -- to get our own thinking sorted out, and reflect on other's words. It calls for complete honesty with ourselves and others -- and for us to find creative solutions.

Choose love over fear whenever possible. Connect to others, use what you feel passionate about to empower them -- remembering, as Stephen Covey said: "Seek first to understand, then be understood". When it's time to speak, do so carefully, from a deeply connected and empowered place.

Mars (the ruler of Aries) is currently in Virgo, where it's making a square to Saturn in Sagittarius. This aspect invites us to stretch and grow when it comes to our daily projects, exploring our beliefs, and expanding our horizons. It might feel like completing tasks takes more effort than usual. As best as you can, take it one step at a time: Impatience can only backfire right now.

We may be more cautious or experience a temporary loss of enthusiasm; creative thinking and experimentation might be key here. The upside of this is that slowing down and allowing ourselves to see an authentic, bigger picture will ultimately serve us, as it helps us develop more mature expectations and approaches.

What single, simple action could you take right this minute, that would move a project forward? What might you not do until you have a clearer long-term view? Feel free to check out my video about Saturn in Sagittarius until Dec. 2017

To sum it all up: This powerful Full Moon is all about actively creating true partnerships (on a collective and personal level) -- that are healthy and based on the integration of masculine and feminine energies. This is about bringing humans together, as opposed to dividing people: Mutual empowerment is key! "Be the change that you want to see in the World" -- Gandhi

As mentioned in my New Moon video from two weeks ago, Eclipses are times of uncertainty; they are Uranian in nature. Anything could happen between now and Oct. 12th. As best as you can, don't jump the gun: If you feel compelled to do something, do your best to simply watch and observe the urge (unless something happens organically). In particular, if you have any ambivalence about an action, wait until Eclipse Season ends to go for it.

Eclipses bring major endings and beginnings. As best you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better in your life; the more willing we are to change, the easier it will be to go to that next level.

Last time we had a Lunar Eclipse in 4 degree of Aries was back on September 26th, 1996. Think back to that time and recall what the energies felt like back then…What partnerships were important? What roles did you redefine? You are not going to experience exactly the same things (obviously) but events will likely have a similar energetic resonance…

This is especially true for those of us with personal planets or points in 1-7 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer (personal planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars; personal points are the Ascendent or MC). For more details on this powerful Full Moon, click here and watch my video on the subject

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Sunday afternoon for details). In the morning, we may need to make some adjustments and think outside the box, if we want to move forward with our plans and projects: flexibility and adaptability are key! Towards the evening, we feel energized and ready to get things done. This could be quite an electric, energetic evening for us, as best as you can, pay attention to your breathing, so you can stay grounded ;-)

As expected, all that Eclipse energy flowing in meant that last week was busy for me... but somehow I managed to have a very balanced week; I am happy to say that I took care of myself really well :-) I am starting to see how everything moves exactly how it needs to when I take my foot off the gas pedal for a moment and enjoy the view along the way ;-)

This week's headline items: Mercury's station intensifies on Monday; it will be time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions on Tuesday;Pluto's station also intensifies (on Wednesday evening); Mercury comes to halt in almost 16 degrees of Libra on Thursday afternoon, Saturn changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius in the late evening; and the Venus station ends on Saturday morning.

There are only two Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning (for a little over 11.5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for almost 8 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey threre until Wednesday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Also on Monday: Mercury's station intensifies, as the planet is further slowing down. During the station, we feel Mercury's energies more strongly. Pay attention to anything "in your face" in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments during the retrograde -- or the shadow phase that follows.

For the next 9 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere -- and that goes for the journey itself, too -- especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Oct.24th, when the shadow phase is over. (For more details on Mercury Retrogrades and Shadow Phases, click here: http://goo.gl/pCRlfF )

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 14-18 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn and Cancer.

Tuesday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday morning, is also the best time to set our powerful New Moon Intentions. Like I already mentioned last Sunday, with a Solar Eclipse it is best to wait 48 hours after the Eclipse has been exact before setting any intentions. As always, we also want to avoid any Moon void of course (VoC) phases.

So, this time around, the best time for setting intentions is today (Tuesday, very early morning) from 2:41am EDT until Wednesday (Sept.16th) very early morning, at 12:22am EDT. And then again after 11:43am EDT on Wednesday until 2:41am EDT, Thursday very early morning (Sept.17th)

Make them powerful: They cover the next five-and-a-half months. If possible, align them with the Virgo energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the Solar Eclipse ;-)

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Tuesday and Wednesday, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions ;-)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Librauntil 11:43am EDT (see Monday for details).

Wednesday at 12:22am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last a little over 11.5 hour, until 11:43am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to do something enjoyably physical with someone else -- this could be hiking, mountain biking, etc., or something of a more intimate nature ;-) And, as always during VoC: Go with the flow (and avoid starting anything brand-new).

Wednesday at 11:43am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday late evening. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.

As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free.

Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.

Also on Wednesday: Pluto's station intensifies, as the planet is further slowing down. It is getting ready to come to a halt on Sept. 25th, after its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 3 weeks...When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct.8th).

Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness -- and to our deepest passions. It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or "death" into "rebirth". Those terms don't necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose. When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity -- and feel a newness and empowerment  from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul's purpose (your deep authentic Self). Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Thursday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Wednesday late morning for details).

Thursday very early morning, a Jupiter/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 2:54am EDT. We started to feel its effects around Sept.4th; and it will be strong until Sept. 29th. This aspect is asking us to find a balance between understanding the facts, and heeding our intuitive knowingness. We are being invited to explore beyond the details and put our trust in the universal process -- but not so much so that we ignore the facts and fall into the trap of idealistically following a person or pipe dream.

This can also be a period when we crave more meaning for our existence or more inspiration or spirituality in our lives. Escapist/idealistic tendencies are strong at this time, as is restlessness: Routine and regular everyday life could be difficult to take. It becomes important to balance attention to practical affairs with attending to our spiritual needs.

We might have such high expectations of a partnership or endeavor that we experience disappointment when it can't live up to our fantasy. Watch out for deception (including self-deception), poor boundaries, distractions, escapist tendencies and illusions.

We may well experience this opposition externally, through other people in our lives, especially employees or spiritual gurus/teachers. As best as you can, balance intuitive connection to your own inner knowingness with expanding your horizons via the mind or practical endeavors.

This opposition is also the fulfillment of whatever was started between May and December 2009 (when Neptune and Jupiter were conjunct): What was beginning for you around that time? If that bore fruit, what fruit would it bear?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-11 degrees of  Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Pisces (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Neptune rules Pisces)

Thursday at 2:09pm EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in almost 16 degrees of Libra, starting its 3-week retrograde phase (until Oct. 9th).When Mercury goes retrograde, it is important not to stop one's life. The retrograde gives us a chance to reflect on our thinking patterns, to see what needs to be addressed around relationships (and what doesn't).

For the next three weeks, we get a chance to connect to our sense of balance and find a way to understand our relationship with ourselves. This is an internal process: a chance to honor and communicate what supports us, from the inside out. We are also being invited to connect more fully to divine justice from within. How can we find our own inner balance with life, before collaborating with others?

With Mercury retrograde, always read the small print -- and reread a contract before signing -- or ask another person for a second opinion... Basically, during these periods, it's best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked... and check in with our intuition... and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!

In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for reevaluating and reorganizing, rethinking, re-communciation, reconnecting. This is especially true for our thought patterns, information and decisions (particularly those made in the 2 weeks prior to the start of the retrograde) -- but it's true of our lives in general: we can reach a deeper understanding as to what works, and what doesn't. Reconnecting with old friends, clients and relationships from the past is also favored at this time.

Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time. When it comes to communication, make sure that what you say, write and hear is the same as the intended meaning -- and use the spell-checker ;-)

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses of your birth chart each represent different areas of your life -- which of the houses in your chart are affected by this retrograde? Feel free to watch my 30-minute class on: "How to Read Your Birth Chart"

As with any retrograde, some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 14-18 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn you will be more affected by this particular retrograde; and
those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant)

On Thursday at 10:49pm EDT, Saturn changes signs from all-or-nothing, deeply passionate and private Scorpio, to adventurous, truth-seeking and enthusiastic Sagittarius. Between now and Dec. 2017, we are invited to look for practical applications of personal philosophies. We may be firming up our belief systems -- this transit could teach us that there is freedom and liberation in abiding by particular rules -- but it's best to avoid rigid thinking.

Saturn in Sagittarius also reminds us that before we can think about what we want to build or bring forth, we need to look at the larger picture, and get to the core of what we believe life is truly about; it asks us to take on the responsibility of living by loyalty to personal truths and principles, turning a critical eye to everything that doesn't accurately reflect our authentic selves.

We are individually and collectively invited to clarify our ethics and beliefs. Think back to the period between Nov. 1985 - Nov. 1988 -- the last time Saturn made this journey. What did you learn back then, about living from your inner truth? Did you reach an understanding of something greater than yourself? Watch my video on the subject for more details (will be posted by Monday evening)

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn? If so, you will feel a greater need for expansion -- let's hope it's not your waistline that expands :-) Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious and mature.

Friday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 11:32pm EDT (see Wednesday late morning for details).

Friday at 3:49pm EDT, we enter an almost 8-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 11:32pm EDT. Two quite different needs pull us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel the need to bond, be intimate, or go deeper into our emotional world; on the other hand, we need to do something fun and challenging that feels true to ourselves and brings us joy.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. Find ways to honor your feelings/gut and see where the heart takes you from there. If at all possible, refrain from starting anything brand-new; plan the late afternoon/evening ahead of time or stick to routine things. If nothing else… simply go with the flow.

Friday at 11:32pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Monday morning.

This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Monday morning - more about that next week ;-).

Saturday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Saturday morning, the Venus station comes to an end, getting back to its normal pace through the sky -- and our relationships, finances and social interactions get back to "normal" too. Anything that happened during the retrograde phase can now be addressed. What might that be for you?

Sunday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Sunday starts with an opportunity to revisit conversations we had in the past two weeks with people we care about (whether personal or business). In the late morning, we may need to make some adjustments: Some “old” wounds may resurface. As best as you can, slow down a little, and give yourself time and space to process; above all, be gentle and kind to yourself and others.

On Sunday afternoon, we may well get some wonderful insights that support our vision for the future -- or connect with like-minded people in a group setting that expands our thinking.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 8:33am (see Friday late evening for details). At 4:59am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 28 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact; right at that time we also enter a 3.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 8:33am EDT; and at that time, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon... more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Another head's up! My fees will be going up in early October: to buy Readings or Coaching sessions before this happens, click here. Any session bought in September can be used any time until March 2016!

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja
