Pay Attention -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 14th - Sun., Sept. 20th, 2015.

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

As expected, all that Eclipse energy flowing in meant that last week was busy for me... but somehow I managed to have a very balanced week; I am happy to say that I took care of myself really well :-) I am starting to see how everything moves exactly how it needs to when I take my foot off the gas pedal for a moment and enjoy the view along the way ;-)

This week's headline items: Mercury's station intensifies on Monday; it will be time to set our Solar Eclipse Intentions on Tuesday;Pluto's station also intensifies (on Wednesday evening); Mercury comes to halt in almost 16 degrees of Libra on Thursday afternoon, Saturn changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius in the late evening; and the Venus station ends on Saturday morning.

There are only two Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning (for a little over 11.5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for almost 8 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey threre until Wednesday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Also on Monday: Mercury's station intensifies, as the planet is further slowing down. During the station, we feel Mercury's energies more strongly. Pay attention to anything "in your face" in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments during the retrograde -- or the shadow phase that follows.

For the next 9 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere -- and that goes for the journey itself, too -- especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Oct.24th, when the shadow phase is over. (For more details on Mercury Retrogrades and Shadow Phases, click here: http://goo.gl/pCRlfF )

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 14-18 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn and Cancer.

Tuesday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday morning, is also the best time to set our powerful New Moon Intentions. Like I already mentioned last Sunday, with a Solar Eclipse it is best to wait 48 hours after the Eclipse has been exact before setting any intentions. As always, we also want to avoid any Moon void of course (VoC) phases.

So, this time around, the best time for setting intentions is today (Tuesday, very early morning) from 2:41am EDT until Wednesday (Sept.16th) very early morning, at 12:22am EDT. And then again after 11:43am EDT on Wednesday until 2:41am EDT, Thursday very early morning (Sept.17th)

Make them powerful: They cover the next five-and-a-half months. If possible, align them with the Virgo energy that I spoke about in my Solar Eclipse video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the Solar Eclipse ;-)

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Tuesday and Wednesday, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions ;-)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Librauntil 11:43am EDT (see Monday for details).

Wednesday at 12:22am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that last a little over 11.5 hour, until 11:43am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to do something enjoyably physical with someone else -- this could be hiking, mountain biking, etc., or something of a more intimate nature ;-) And, as always during VoC: Go with the flow (and avoid starting anything brand-new).

Wednesday at 11:43am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday late evening. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.

As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free.

Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.

Also on Wednesday: Pluto's station intensifies, as the planet is further slowing down. It is getting ready to come to a halt on Sept. 25th, after its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 3 weeks...When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct.8th).

Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness -- and to our deepest passions. It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or "death" into "rebirth". Those terms don't necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose. When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity -- and feel a newness and empowerment  from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 3 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul's purpose (your deep authentic Self). Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Thursday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Wednesday late morning for details).

Thursday very early morning, a Jupiter/Neptune opposition becomes exact at 2:54am EDT. We started to feel its effects around Sept.4th; and it will be strong until Sept. 29th. This aspect is asking us to find a balance between understanding the facts, and heeding our intuitive knowingness. We are being invited to explore beyond the details and put our trust in the universal process -- but not so much so that we ignore the facts and fall into the trap of idealistically following a person or pipe dream.

This can also be a period when we crave more meaning for our existence or more inspiration or spirituality in our lives. Escapist/idealistic tendencies are strong at this time, as is restlessness: Routine and regular everyday life could be difficult to take. It becomes important to balance attention to practical affairs with attending to our spiritual needs.

We might have such high expectations of a partnership or endeavor that we experience disappointment when it can't live up to our fantasy. Watch out for deception (including self-deception), poor boundaries, distractions, escapist tendencies and illusions.

We may well experience this opposition externally, through other people in our lives, especially employees or spiritual gurus/teachers. As best as you can, balance intuitive connection to your own inner knowingness with expanding your horizons via the mind or practical endeavors.

This opposition is also the fulfillment of whatever was started between May and December 2009 (when Neptune and Jupiter were conjunct): What was beginning for you around that time? If that bore fruit, what fruit would it bear?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 5-11 degrees of  Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Pisces (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Neptune rules Pisces)

Thursday at 2:09pm EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in almost 16 degrees of Libra, starting its 3-week retrograde phase (until Oct. 9th).When Mercury goes retrograde, it is important not to stop one's life. The retrograde gives us a chance to reflect on our thinking patterns, to see what needs to be addressed around relationships (and what doesn't).

For the next three weeks, we get a chance to connect to our sense of balance and find a way to understand our relationship with ourselves. This is an internal process: a chance to honor and communicate what supports us, from the inside out. We are also being invited to connect more fully to divine justice from within. How can we find our own inner balance with life, before collaborating with others?

With Mercury retrograde, always read the small print -- and reread a contract before signing -- or ask another person for a second opinion... Basically, during these periods, it's best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked... and check in with our intuition... and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!

In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for reevaluating and reorganizing, rethinking, re-communciation, reconnecting. This is especially true for our thought patterns, information and decisions (particularly those made in the 2 weeks prior to the start of the retrograde) -- but it's true of our lives in general: we can reach a deeper understanding as to what works, and what doesn't. Reconnecting with old friends, clients and relationships from the past is also favored at this time.

Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time. When it comes to communication, make sure that what you say, write and hear is the same as the intended meaning -- and use the spell-checker ;-)

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses of your birth chart each represent different areas of your life -- which of the houses in your chart are affected by this retrograde? Feel free to watch my 30-minute class on: "How to Read Your Birth Chart"

As with any retrograde, some of us will be more affected than others, depending on how it interacts with our personal chart. If you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 14-18 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer, or Capricorn you will be more affected by this particular retrograde; and
those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant)

On Thursday at 10:49pm EDT, Saturn changes signs from all-or-nothing, deeply passionate and private Scorpio, to adventurous, truth-seeking and enthusiastic Sagittarius. Between now and Dec. 2017, we are invited to look for practical applications of personal philosophies. We may be firming up our belief systems -- this transit could teach us that there is freedom and liberation in abiding by particular rules -- but it's best to avoid rigid thinking.

Saturn in Sagittarius also reminds us that before we can think about what we want to build or bring forth, we need to look at the larger picture, and get to the core of what we believe life is truly about; it asks us to take on the responsibility of living by loyalty to personal truths and principles, turning a critical eye to everything that doesn't accurately reflect our authentic selves.

We are individually and collectively invited to clarify our ethics and beliefs. Think back to the period between Nov. 1985 - Nov. 1988 -- the last time Saturn made this journey. What did you learn back then, about living from your inner truth? Did you reach an understanding of something greater than yourself? Watch my video on the subject for more details (will be posted by Monday evening)

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn? If so, you will feel a greater need for expansion -- let's hope it's not your waistline that expands :-) Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious and mature.

Friday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 11:32pm EDT (see Wednesday late morning for details).

Friday at 3:49pm EDT, we enter an almost 8-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 11:32pm EDT. Two quite different needs pull us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel the need to bond, be intimate, or go deeper into our emotional world; on the other hand, we need to do something fun and challenging that feels true to ourselves and brings us joy.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. Find ways to honor your feelings/gut and see where the heart takes you from there. If at all possible, refrain from starting anything brand-new; plan the late afternoon/evening ahead of time or stick to routine things. If nothing else… simply go with the flow.

Friday at 11:32pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Monday morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now"; we pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Monday morning - more about that next week ;-).

Saturday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Saturday morning, the Venus station comes to an end, getting back to its normal pace through the sky -- and our relationships, finances and social interactions get back to "normal" too. Anything that happened during the retrograde phase can now be addressed. What might that be for you?

Sunday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Sunday starts with an opportunity to revisit conversations we had in the past two weeks with people we care about (whether personal or business). In the late morning, we may need to make some adjustments: Some “old” wounds may resurface. As best as you can, slow down a little, and give yourself time and space to process; above all, be gentle and kind to yourself and others.

On Sunday afternoon, we may well get some wonderful insights that support our vision for the future -- or connect with like-minded people in a group setting that expands our thinking.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 8:33am (see Friday late evening for details). At 4:59am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 28 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact; right at that time we also enter a 3.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 8:33am EDT; and at that time, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon... more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Another head's up! My fees will be going up in early October: to buy Readings or Coaching sessions before this happens, click here. Any session bought in September can be used any time until March 2016!

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja
