Last week was exciting, healing and eventful. I had lots of energy; at the same time I was also was quite aware of my limitations (physical, emotional, mental)... This awareness supported me in being flexible when it came to my schedule and still accomplishing a lot.
This week's headline items: the Full Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Tuesday morning; on Tuesday around noon, Mars moves over the degree of the most recent Solar Eclipse -- and Venus moves over that same degree on Thursday night/Friday very early morning.
There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for 17.5 hours), Wednesday late morning (for 15 hours), Friday late evening (for a little over 6 hours), and Sunday late evening (for a little over 12 hours).
Monday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
Monday at 8:25am EDT, we enter a 17.5-hours Moon void of course (VoC) this lasts until 2:07am EDT Tuesday very early morning. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between satisfying your own personal needs and collaborating with others. Communication is key with this.
Since this VoC lasts all day, it is best to plan your day ahead of time, stick to routine things or simply go with the flow. If possible, avoid starting anything brand-new.
Tuesday is a big day! It starts with the Moon moving into steady, peaceful Taurus at 2:02am EDT. It will journey there until Thursday very early morning. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.
Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down... We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-) This also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (which will be exact a little later today).
Let's talk about the Full Moon in more detail: The Sun in Scorpio opposes the Moon in Taurus (this will be exact on Tuesday, at 8:05am EDT)
This is the the last of three "Super" Full Moons in a row. SuperMoons occur when the Moon is at its closest distance to the Earth at the time of a New- or Full Moon. During a Full Moon, this could very well mean an increase in emotional reactions, but it could also facilitate greater awareness around the issues connected to the Full Moon energy in question.
This Full Moon deals with the Scorpio/Taurus polarity. We'll seek balance around this polarity -- something needs to be brought into alignment -- so let's look at the two poles in question:
Scorpio teaches us to connect to our deepest passions, overcome our fears, let go of our emotional attachments or traumas, and connect deeply to ourselves and others. It teaches us to embrace all of who we are (the good, the bad, the ugly), so we can be more authentic and feel more empowered.
All this happens by bringing a conscious approach to our intimate relationships and the issues we frequently deal with when it comes to authentically connecting. Trust plays a big role in having healthy intimate relationships -- and trust is something that develops over time -- more slowly for those of us who experienced trauma in the past (this applies to developing trust with ourselves, as much as with others).
Transcending trauma to gain inner strength and wisdom can take time -- it certainly can't be rushed. Even if the mind understands what's going on, recovery is an emotional process; these always take a little longer than mental processing. However, when we don't start this process at all, we get stuck in projections. We're left blaming others and feeling disempowered.
Awareness (and embracing that which enters awareness) is the only way to move towards empowerment.
Let's look at the other pole in this balancing act: Taurus seeks a healthy relationship with the physical world — this includes our body, planet, resources, money, and our highest values. We learn about the power of beauty and what makes us happy on the physical level. We develop our talents and sense of self-worth -- and we can discover and manifest what we truly want.
A healthy sense of self-worth is critical: No amount of money or material possessions will substitute. Ask yourself:
What matters most to me? What makes me happy?
Some of us are over-focused on the material side of life, while others are mainly focused on the spiritual aspect of life -- and mightn't fully grasp their real worth in the material plane. For example, some of us might have a hard time asking for money, or even knowing what we have in our bank account. Where do you fall along this spectrum?
What if you changed your point of view toward the physical world by just 5%? What is in the way of you honoring your gifts/talents and feeling confident in the world?
Venus is both in alignment to Jupiter and Mars in Virgo, and in opposition to Chiron in Pisces. The ruler of Taurus is asking us to connect our masculine/feminine energies and expand our views around love, abundance and relating in the world.
The Venus-Chiron opposition brings a healing layer to our relationships. We all value exactness, practicality and logic to some extent; right now, we are asked to balance this with our nature as spiritual beings, capable of unconditional compassion and forgiveness. As best as you can, discover your path and honor who you really are: a spirit having a human experience.
Venus, Jupiter and Mars in Virgo are also making an inconjunct to Uranus in Aries at the time of the Full Moon. This indicates an inner awareness that we need to develop: It's time to think (and see) different. Flexibility is key -- what calls out to be adjusted? What needs to be put right?
Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio; it's currently in Capricorn, where it forms a trine to Jupiter, Venus and Mars in Virgo. This is a very powerful combo; it asks us to be completely honest (with ourselves and others) about our intentions and motivations, especially around long-term goals. It suggests that each one of us has the power to make a difference in the world; we just need to seize the moment and courageously move forward.
Here are a few final coaching questions for this Full Moon: If you were projecting energies on to others, what might those energies be? If that question has you stumped, try asking this: What has been hard to embrace about yourself?
Remember: We don't have to go to the extremes; this is about finding the healthy expression of any energy. How self-aware and self-compassionate could you allow yourself to be?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-6 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius and Leo? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday late morning, a Venus/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 10:07am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from last Sunday on; it will be strong until this Saturday. This opposition asks us to create a balance between our emotional healing process and our relationships.
We may feel insecure around others at this time; we need to first heal our own deep fears of not being "good enough", learning to love ourselves -- and then seeing how we can meet our partners halfway. As best as you can, bring the gift of compassion, understanding and forgiveness to your own insecurities or feelings of unworthiness -- then gift that to others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 14-21 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Sagittarius or Gemini ? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).
Last but not least, Tuesday at 12:36pm EDT, Mars moves over Sept. 13th's Solar Eclipse degree (20 degrees of Virgo), triggering things connected to that eclipse. Whatever comes up today in connection to career/work, our physical appearance or personal projects/desires, will need to be realized over the next 5.5 months.
The key is to bring awareness to two areas: First, what connects us to our Soul's journey and needs our focus? Second: what do we need to learn about, or take action on, so that we can connect more fully to "being of service" and doing things well? What are you experiencing today that propels you forward? What is asking to be initiated?
Wednesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursdayevening for details).
Wednesday at 11:20am EDT, we enter a 15-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 2:24am EDT (Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions to the seeming conflict between your needs around practical matters/finances, versus a need for fun and feeling self-expressed.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)
Thursday at 2:24am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Saturday early morning. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.
During the first half of Thursday, we are invited to slow down and take our time, when thinking our way through "problems". The second half of the day will require adjustments -- and we may need to do a little stretching and growing, when it comes to our inner or emotional experiences. As best as you can, be gentle with yourself and others, seek to understand before seeking to be understood.
Friday: the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini all day (see Thursdayearly morning for details).
Friday very early morning at 3:36am EDT, Venus moves over the Solar Eclipse degree (20 degrees of Virgo). This will resonate back to Sept. 13th's Solar Eclipse: Whatever comes up this morning in connection to love, relationships, finances or your own self-worth... pay attention to it and "move with it" over the next 5 months.
What are you experiencing this morning that resonates within your whole being? Where are you being asked to open up your heart?
Friday afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:06pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will be strong until Monday of next week. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.
We are feeling especially intuitive during this time. We are inspired, and charitable acts now will lift our spirits. We are more likely to see matters (and people) from a different perspective -- one that allows for differences and even finds beauty in them. Our capacity for compassion (both with ourselves and with others) is quite strong as well.
Creativity is at an all-time high, as our imagination runs in full gear; any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will do very well.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).
Friday late evening at 10:52pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 6 hours until 5:09am EDT (Saturday early morning). If you are awake during this time, connect with others, share yourself and collaborate. Win-win solutions come easily right now. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow ;-)
Saturday at 5:09am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Monday late morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.
Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.
Here in the US, we'll feel especially close to our fellow humans as we celebrate Halloween -- we feel most drawn to family and/or familiar surroundings. As best as you can, be authentic, connect from a place of love. Self-care and emotional authenticity are of the highest value this evening.
Sunday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Saturday early morning for details).
Note that on Sunday at 2am EDT, Daylight Savings Time ends in the United States; clocks turn backwards an hour and we lose another hour of daylight. The good news is that we are able to sleep an hour longer in the morning, which we might need, if we were out celebrating Halloween the night before ;-)
Sunday late evening at 10:35pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) until 10:48am EST (Monday late morning). If you are awake during this time, use this intuitive time as an opportunity to do something in your home that can improve your daily routines, so things can run more smoothly.
As always with a Moon VoC, do your best to avoid starting anything brand-new; stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow ;-) You may also want to plan Sunday night and Monday morning ahead of time (or just plan to take it easy ;-)
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer and VoC until 10:48am EST (see Saturday early morning and Sunday late evening for details). At 2:06am EST, Mercury moves from idealistic, relationship-oriented Libra into passionate, intense Scorpio, where it will journey until Nov. 20th.
At 10:48am EST, the Moon moves into fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday evening of next week. Lastly, in the evening, a Venus/Mars alignment in 24 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 9:10pm EST. We started feeling this alignment from Monday (Oct. 26th) on; and it will stay strong until Sunday of next week (Nov. 8th)... more about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
Have a fantastic week!
