What can I say, Neptune's station feels really strong -- but I can also feel a strong Uranus energy (Jupiter inconjunct Uranus)... Haven't felt so awake and (at the same time) tired in a long time... maybe ever. I also had some issues come up around relating -- no surprise there, with Venus squaring Pluto and approaching an opposition with Uranus -- that will definitely bring up "relating" issues :-) It felt impossible to tolerate inauthenticity in myself and others. I very much wanted to be separate from some people this week. I did my best to observe without judging myself...
This week's headline items: Jupiter moves over the Solar Eclipse degree on Monday afternoon; the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Wednesday late afternoon; Chiron comes to a halt on Saturday very early morning; and Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky again, starting Sunday.
There are four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday (until 11:26am EST), Tuesday evening (for almost 16 hours), Thursday late evening (16 hours), and Sunday morning (12 hours).
Monday: the Moon remains inpioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 11:26am EST. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.
Monday at 11:26am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down...
We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)
Back on Sept. 13, we had a Solar Eclipse in 20 degrees of Virgo. On Monday afternoon at 4:36pm EST, Jupiter moves over that same degree. Energetically, things will resonate back to that Sept. 13th's Solar Eclipse. Whatever comes up this afternoon, in connection to personal growth, learning, expanding your horizons or your ability to see the bigger picture, notice it -- and wherever needed, expand your point of view over the next 4 months.
What resonates with your whole being? Where are you being asked to grow and expand your understanding?
Monday late afternoon,a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 5:13pm EST. We started to feel this opposition from last Saturday morning on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is part of a T-square between Venus, Uranus and Pluto: The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.
I mentioned this last week already, but it bears repeating: a T-Square can create stress and a need for change. This is especially true when it is located in the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra and Capricorn).
It is wise to find creative solutions and move towards a peaceful resolution; however that said, it might not always pan out that way… as best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. Also, as best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need, if you’re to come from a place of inner strength and safety.
This opposition calls us to balance "relationship" with "having space". We may feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others -- or in regards to our finances. This is not a good time to start a new relationship or significant financial undertaking; as best as you can, avoid "impulse buys" at this time.
We may find that we disagree with others, are restless, even anxious. We might be taken off guard by unexpected events. If we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might be able to find new ways of dealing with others. It is best to stay open-minded and flexible -- do your best to find creative solutions to anything disempowering.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Cancer or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Tuesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Monday late morning for details).
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, an opportune Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:19am EST. We started feeling this aspect from last week Thursday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives. We could find an increased focus in our work and activities, and a sense of purpose.
We have a chance to face life with more purpose and maturity. We tend to be more practical than usual, and our progress in most projects is perhaps slow but steady. This can be a very productive time in our lives. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- this isn't necessarily handed to us, we have to make the most of it. It's our choice.
Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 4-9 degrees of Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars rules Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Tuesday at 8:26pm EST, we enter an almost 16-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 12:15pm EST (Wednesday early afternoon). Use this intuitive time to get grounded and enjoy physical pleasures. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)
Tuesday late evening/night, a Mercury/Saturn alignment in 6.5 degrees of Sagittariusbecomes exact at 11:57pm EST. We started feeling this aspect from last week Saturday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This connection strengthens our ability to make realistic decisions connected to our need for expansion and learning. We are more able to come from a place of integrity and maturity when planning anything long-term.
We prefer to have serious conversations with others that move us forward, closer to a common goal. It's an excellent period for reviewing, reassessing, perfecting, and improving our thinking patterns, beliefs, and foreign affairs. Even though we might have a more negative or critical outlook initially, this alignment serves the purpose of reaching a balanced, mature, and realistic state.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 3-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).
Big day! Wednesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 12:15pm EST (see Monday late morning for details).
Wednesday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 2:15am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We are being asked to change our perspective about life and what we believe. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity.
It may be difficult for others to understand us, as we may become unclear communicators. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. We are more imaginative now, and easily swayed by the opinions of others. That said, we can also be highly creative and inspired under this influence, and maybe overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical.
It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini and Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Wednesday late morning, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:32am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Thursday evening. This provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align, if we choose. Words and deeds come quickly; we can be quick and brave. As with any opportunity, we have to "take" this one: it will not happen by itself.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 5-9 degrees of Sagittarius, Libra, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Mars is the ruler of Aries).
Wednesday at 12:13pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment.
With Moon in Gemini, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact later this afternoon).
Wednesday at 5:44pm EST, the Full Moon in 3 degrees of Gemini becomes exact. The Moon's movement into Gemini earlier in the day started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon. During this time, we are looking for balance and are more aware than ever that something needs to be brought into alignment. (Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details)
Sagittarius teaches us a wider perspective, asking us to look beyond facts and learned knowledge, to our life experiences and the wisdom we gain from them. Gemini, on the other hand, wants us to stay connected to our immediate environment and our day-to-day mind -- processing and sharing information as fast and as much as possible.
The Sun aligns with Saturn and Mercury in Sagittarius, asking us to pay close attention to our thinking, and make mature and responsible choices around our quest for higher meaning. Questions you can ask yourself for the next two weeks: What guides choice? What do I learn about life every day, just by living it? What is the best way to handle "foreign" affairs?
Neptune in Pisces is still stationing at the time of this Full Moon; this has a strong influence over this Lunation -- Neptune's energy is exalted in the sky. It is also the focus point of a T-square, squaring the Moon in Gemini, and the Sun/Saturn/Mercury alignment in Sagittarius. This T-square asks us to stretch and grow; we are invited to release anything that no longer supports our growth -- individually and collectively.
This combo also asks us to shift our perspective (a change of mind and heart). When we perceive (and choose) from the heart, we can advance from fear to love, separation to oneness. Taking responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes is another big part of that (check out my "Saturn in Sagittarius" video for more)
It will be helpful to focus on our health and daily routines. Living a physical existence is not always the easiest but it also brings great rewards; the more we can bring understanding and compassion to the daily details in our lives, the more we will experience the true meaning of unity and compassion.
Even more than normal, a daily spiritual practice is very helpful at this time -- and "spiritual practice" can mean many things: dancing, singing, music, mediating, nature walks, cooking, cleaning, yoga, breathing exercises, lying on your bed and conversing with God/Source/the Universe/your angels/your higher Self/your Spirit Guides....It makes no difference what you call it, or how you do it, as long as you get to tap into your inner guidance system ;-)
Since the Moon Nodes also switched to Virgo/Pisces last week (you might want to watch my video on the subject), there are now many planets and points in mutable signs -- this is why we feel restless and pulled in many directions. It's definitely keeping us busy, but it could also be bringing up feelings of being ungrounded or overwhelmed. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed?
If the answer to that is "yes", as best as you can, center yourself in the here and now. Allow yourself to be present, listen to what's inside of you (beyond the mind), trust your intuitive Self.
Following our inner guidance is going to be very important; so is releasing any victim-based thinking. The best way to notice victim mentality is to catch ourselves when we blame others (or "life") for our current experiences. If you catch yourself doing this, acknowledge it gently and be kind to yourself (we all do it from time to time... it's human).
By the way, you don't have to blame yourself either: Assigning "fault" is not mandatory, and when we do, we get stuck. Rather than asking, "who's fault is it?", acknowledge what is so (without judging it) and ask: Where do I go from here? What could I create?
Of course, this sort of thing has to do with our conditioning, which is pretty much formed by the age of 7 -- "Show me the boy and I'll show you the man". Conscious awareness and self-compassion is the only way to create a shift for ourselves. When we can see conditioning for what it is, and love ourselves nonetheless, we can start to make new choices. The other paths really just lead to more of the same, in more subtle forms, sad to say :-)
So... As best as you can, be kind to yourself with this process; remember that true healing comes from understanding, embracing and even loving who we are deep down: A spirit being who lives in human form. What would happen if you embraced your own humanity an extra 5% right now?
I talk a lot in these forecasts about the power and importance of self-care -- and once again it is worth our attention: We may have a lot of nervous energy right now, we might feel scattered. As best as you can, take breaks, slow down, allow your mind to relax.
For this Full Moon and the next two weeks, you could ask yourself: Am I ready to let go of what I would "like" to be true? What might happen if I looked through the fears and beliefs that block me from embodying my own truth? What nourishes my soul?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-8 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Thursday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).
Thursday morning, a long-lasting, challenging Saturn/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:15am EST. We started feeling this aspect around Nov. 1st; it will be strong until Dec. 24th.
This aspect asks us to stretch and grow, to resolve a tension: On the one hand we want our perception of life to be realistic and have a need for big accomplishments; on the other hand, we need to trust divine timing -- we feel compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild. There is definitely also a restlessness in the air.
Ideally, this aspect leads to a realignment of our long-term goals and spiritual ideals, as we assess what is truly meaningful to us. Restrictions may seem to block our plans. We could feel a sudden lack of inspiration. We might be forced to face issues we've been avoiding or putting off. These could include addictions and other behaviors that have left us feeling de-energized. Another important facet of this aspect is taking responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes, rather than blindly following others and buying their beliefs wholesale.
It could become harder to trust in our interconnectedness with everything. It's important for us to focus on authentic attitudes and learn to take it one day at a time. How can we feel more "oneness"? Could you trust your heart, even when life throws a curveball? What if we accept new truths into our hearts, "just because"?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces or Capricorn (Neptune is the ruler of Pisces; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
On Thursday at 10:35pm EST, we enter a 16-hour Moon void of course (VoC), that lasts until 2:27pm EST (Friday afternoon). Use this intuitive time to connect with others and enjoy exchange and collaboration. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your night and the first half of Friday ahead of time ;-)
Friday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 2:27pm EST (see Wednesday early afternoon and Thursday morning for details).
Friday at 2:27pm EST, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Sunday evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.
Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.
The Moon is not making any exact aspects to any of the other planets allafternoon/evening. This will feel very similar to a Moon Void of Course, so we might just want to go with the flow and practice some self-care.
Saturday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Friday afternoon for more details).
Saturday very early morning, at 1:43am EST, after a 5-month retrograde, Chiron comes to a halt (in order to turn direct) in 17 degrees of Pisces. As you may recall from last week's post, Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, it brings our attention towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Watch out for any triggers that are connected to your past.
We have been connecting internally to our healing process for the last five months; as Chiron picks up speed, we become ready to bring that healing (and the healing process) to the outside world. What did you discover about your emotional and spiritual wounds? How could others benefit from your discoveries?
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 15-19 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you may need to take your emotional or spiritual wounds under the magnifying glass. Take a closer look at how you can bring compassion and understanding to those wounds/insecurities.
Sunday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer until 7:47pm EST (see Friday afternoon for more details).
Sunday at 7:46am EST, we enter a 12-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 7:47pm EST. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space for connecting with others harmoniously and also for taking care of any emotional or family issues.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)
Sunday late morning, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:49am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Wednesday of next week. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.
Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits might be better than focusing on things that require straightforward, factual thinking at this time. We might feel confused; it might be a challenge to know where we stand with others. As best as you can, avoid things like scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time (unless they are spiritual or artistic in nature). Compassion toward ourselves works best for this time period.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 4-10 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).
Sunday evening, a Sun/Saturn alignment in 7.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 7:16pm EST. We started feeling this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Thursday of next week. This alignment brings a more serious tone to our perception and our attitudes towards life -- it calls for us to "get real".
This is especially true not only for projects that are connected to travel, foreign affairs, publishing or expanding one's horizons -- but also with anything that feels particularly meaningful: We are motivated by the desire to manifest tangible results. We can focus and work hard, especially if we feel excited about something, welcoming a sense of discipline, structure or order.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 4-11 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Sunday at 7:47pm EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?
Also on Sunday, Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky, after a 5-month retrograde phase -- it is ending its station. What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition?
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Sunday evening for more details). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
