Opportunity to Experiment -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Feb. 29 - Sun., March 6th, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was quite busy -- and I had some wonderful breakthroughs as well. I realized that part of my early conditioning was that my sense of self-worth was aligned with accomplishing things and being there for others. Therefore being in action felt fulfilling and comfortable. It was almost like saying to myself: "When you are not doing anything, you are not worthy". So, even though this T-square with Saturn, Jupiter and Chiron has been stirring up quite a bit of restlessness and overwhelm, it also brought me some tremendous gains and realizations about myself.

This week's headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Tuesday evening; Mercury changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces on Saturday morning; Mars changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Saturday evening.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 4 hours), Wednesday evening (for a little over 7 hours), and Saturday late morning (for 17minutes).

Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:56pm EST. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time. As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to.

Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free. Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.

Monday at 2:55pm EST, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:56pm EST. Use this intuitive time to go deeper in your relationships; connect to people and things you feel truly passionate about. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)

At 6:56pm ESTthe Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.

We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now"; we pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate. This also starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday evening)

Monday evening, an opportune Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday (Feb.27th) on; it will be strong until this this Wednesday (March 2nd). This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring a sense of realism to our relationships, values and financial affairs: We are more able to get to the bottom of what needs to be dealt with in those areas and take responsibility for how we are handling things.

On a financial level, we have an opportunity to see more clearly when and how we might make long-term investments in other people's resources. There's no need to rush anything; think it through carefully and responsibly -- do the "due diligence". Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us, we have to "take" it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Aquarius, Sagittarius, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra orCapricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Also on Monday: Very last change to take advantage of the New Year's Special. Offer ends at midnight! Book Now

Tuesday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).

Tuesday at 6:11pm ESTthe last Quarter Moon in almost 12 degrees of Sagittarius will be exact. The Moon in adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in sensitive, dreamy, compassionate Pisces. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon, which is also a Solar Eclipse (March 8th).

With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us take a look at what was started around the time of the last New Moon -- in this case, around Feb. 8th. We now have about a week to wrap those projects up. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since Feb. 8th? What did it mean for you?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Wednesday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).

Wednesday evening, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:12pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Friday. This gives us the opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others -- to do something different or unusual -- freedom plays a big part in this aspect.

Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time -- it's a favorable time for social meetings and events. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through your relationships.

We're also ready to experiment with our financial undertakings. Energetic matches with this aspect would be: all things "tech" (electronics, technology, internet); metaphysics; the arts; group activities. In general, is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had an intuitive flash ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Sagittarius or Gemini? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, Uranus rules Aquarius).

Wednesday at 9:55pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 7-hours, until 5:01am EST (Thursday early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to communicate a future vision that expands people's horizons. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Thursday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius and VoC until 5:01am EST (see Monday evening and Wednesday late evening for details).

Thursday at 5:01am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornwhere it will journey until Saturday late morning. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.

We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do"  ;-)

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Thursday morninga somewhat challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 7:04am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday morning on; it will be strong until Friday eveningThis aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect is a fork in the road: Are we going to focus on future visions or ideals (whether financial or relationship)... or on improving our understanding of the practical level of our day-to-day existence, so that we feel more optimistic? Awareness is key with this aspect: What is needed? How can we serve the broader view?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Aquarius or Virgo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Friday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Thursday morning for details). We can get a lot done today; given that, take some breaks, if you can -- obsessing will not get you "there" faster ;-)

Friday afternoon: We may feel the urge to reinvent the wheel and make some big changes in our lives. As best as you can, resist that urge -- and focus on completing projects, rather than on innovation.

Saturday is quite a full day! The Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 11:22am EST (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday night/Saturday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 12:43am EST. We started feeling it build from Wednesday on -- and it will be strong until next week Monday. This aspect brings some juicy energy to our conversations. This is a chance to have some discussions that have been overdue.

As best as you can, make it a productive discussion that serves you and others -- a win-win -- otherwise you might feel really awful afterwards. Also, watch out on the road for some crazy drivers… rushing might not necessarily get us there faster ;-)

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Saturday early morning, at 5:23am EST, Mercury leaves freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, and moves into creative, compassionate Pisces. It will journey through this dreamy, creative sign until March 21st. We are moving from the mind into the heart. For these next two weeks, we get a chance to communicate with compassion -- we see the commonalities between us all, rather than what separates us.

We seem to be connected to Source more easily during this time -- if we allow that energy to come through -- and our thinking will be very creative, imaginative and intuitive.

The key with this energy is to remain in the “here and now” and open up to a higher vibration. If we can do that, we will be able to download information from an intuitive place, rather than thinking things through. This could also be the reason why our mind is slowing down a bit and why we speak more softly.

Mercury in Pisces also offers us an opportunity to let go of any mental structures, conditionings or fears that are no longer serving us. If you are not connected to your intuition, you may want to double check with other people, before signing any documents or buying any big-ticket items. Are you ready to connect to your intuition more fully? Can you allow for the unfolding process, trusting your higher Self more fully?

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to learn to surrender to a slower pace and connect more fully to your heart and intuition.

Saturday late morning, at 11:05am EST, we enter a very brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 17 minutes. Use this intuitive time: Take a moment and check in with your body... What are you feeling? What needs to be done next?

Saturday late morning, at 11:22am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Monday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

The Balsamic Moon phase starts Saturday afternoon; this lasts until Tuesday evening of next week (March 8th), when the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Pisces becomes exact (…more on that next week). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.

For some of us, this might be a stretch, especially since we are in Eclipse season. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us.

What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Saturday evening, at 9:29pm EST, Mars changes signs from passionate Scorpio to adventurous Sagittarius, where it will journey for an unusually long time, until May 27th (due to its retrograde phase). With this placement, we are going to feel a little restless, maybe even impatient at times -- we want to explore. This is a great time to get into sports or some athletic activity. We have so many ideas and interests that we can't just stick to one thing right now, so we may have several projects running at the same time.

It's a time when we prefer to improvise and just wing it. That makes it more fun and brings a sense of adventure to our day. We also like to have some good debates with others, persuading them to share our beliefs. It's not the best time to get too serious about life, as we prefer to feel free-flowing and excited about new things -- especially when we can learn something new ;-)

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more adventurous and probably more impatient. You may want to explore new sports or physical activities. If you are a Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Sunday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Saturday late morning for details).

Saturday night/Sunday very early morninga challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:04am EST. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday night on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday night. We're asked to stretch, to grow beyond what we have known ourselves to be; we are urged out of our comfort zone, towards a higher truth with ourselves and others.

Find creative ways to honor your inner process. Connect to the peace within, even if that means slowing down, even if it means not knowing what might happen next. Would you rather have your old beliefs... or more peace and calm? What if you gave yourself permission to simply “be"? What if you just decided to trust divine timing?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Sunday morning, a somewhat challenging Jupiter/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:45am EST. We've been feeling this aspect from Monday on (Feb. 29th);  it will be strong until next week Friday (March 11th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

We might find it difficult to reach agreement or even find something in common with others at this time. This could result in restlessness: We need to make changes, but may not know what, how or when. There could also be bursts of rebelliousness if we are not in touch with ourselves. We might avoid making dramatic changes until we're clearer about what we want -- awareness is key with this aspect. What is needed? How can we serve the broader view? Where do we need some clarity?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 17-20 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Sunday late evening, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 11:16pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday night. This is an opportunity to bring a sense of compassion and creativity to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.

It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real and soften our approach a little. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

A head's up for next Monday (March 7th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 2:08pm EST (see Saturday late morning for details). At 3:46am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 10.5-hours, until 2:08pm EST. Monday is also the last day before the Solar Eclipse in Pisces becomes exact. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

I could feel a big shift happening within me last week: I released my need to know it all and always make the "right" decision and opened instead to simply allowing it all to unfold, trusting the timing and the process. I was invited to not try so hard (effort-less) :-) All of this was able to occur because of Mars' transit through Scorpio and Jupiter's opposition to Chiron (you may recall I mentioned these aspects last week).

I had some amazing help with all of this. My mentors, healers and guides are always supporting me on my journey towards a greater understanding of my own human nature, and allowing me therefore to release my fear-based conditioning. I am most grateful for all the support I am receiving from every single one of them! Thank you!

Before we get into the upcoming week's aspects, I want to mention something: Eclipses are coming up in March! I want to invite you to get ready and get the maximum support! This week's headline items: the Full Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Monday; a long-term aspect between Jupiter and Chiron becomes exact on Tuesday; and on Saturday, we enter the 10-day window before the Solar Eclipse.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday until 6:24am EST, Wednesday morning (for almost 8.5 hours), and Friday morning (for a little over 24 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 6:24am EST. At that time, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgowhere it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.

Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact at 1:20pm EST).

As mentioned above, the Moon’s entrance into Virgo earlier today started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon that will be "exact" today (Monday) at 1:20pm EST in 3 degrees of Virgo

A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun. For the next two weeks, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that are apparently polar opposites. Very often we experience (and achieve) this balance through our interactions with others -- so relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.

This Full Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. This also resonates with the current placement of the Moon Nodes (our Soul's Journey). Feel free to watch my video on the subject: https://youtu.be/m6vfeOru3d4

Pisces is all about spirit, intuition, mysticism, metaphysics, our ability for feeling/sensing things -- you could say it perceives waves of potential. The Piscean quest leads to the realization that we can bring light, love and compassion to everything we do -- without slipping into helplessness, victimization and martyrdom.

Whereas Pisces is all about the non-material, Virgo is all about matter, reason, science, rational thinking and discernment — it focuses on the particular, analyzes. Its spiritual task is to move from judgement to discernment, humiliation to humility, servitude to service.

Virgo is also about a wholesome approach to our bodies: having an understanding that every cell in our body is alive and interconnected with all other cells; that our physical body, feeling "body", mental "body" and spirit "body" are just as interconnected with each other. Every cell in our body is in communication with all of our systems. Everything affects everything else.

What would it take to balance intellect with intuition? Could you bring a little more awareness to the balance between effort and surrender? Rather than pushing, over-thinking or giving up, could you experiment with taking small, simple actions and have faith in the universal support? What if you just trusted in a "perfect" outcome?

Intellect measures, compares, and categorizes. It prefers the linear, the sequential -- yet the natural world is complex and non-linear. Everything in the Universe is made up of energy, so everything is interconnected, everything is essentially the same: all is energy.

Life is a miracle: our bodies are miraculous, our physical and spiritual abilities are miraculous. The one thing that keeps us from seeing and experiencing all of it is Fear. Fear creates prejudice, exploitation, perfectionism, impatience, a need for control over life or its lifeforms, tyranny, etc. This is not just about the outside world -- news, politics, etc. -- that's just a reflection of what goes on inside of us on a daily basis!

As best as you can, observe when "Fear" shows up (and remember, it shows up in many ways)... To learn more about additional aspects connected to this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video

To sum it all up: This Full Moon invites us to integrate matter with spirit, reason with intuition, clarity of mind with openness of heart. Be open to discovering the synergy between intellect and feeling, discernment and compassion, order and chaos, practical thinking and imagination...

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point, or personal planets in 1-5 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, this month's Full Moon will affect you more; the same is true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Tuesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday afternoona long-term Jupiter/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 3:01pm EST. We started to feel this aspect back on Feb. 5th; it will be strong until March 10th. This is the second time within the last 3 months that this aspect has become exact.

We may be pulled in two different directions: On the one hand, we have a clear, positive outlook and a desire to be of service in a larger way; on the other, we are called to embrace our insecurities concerning our intuition and faith in the flow of life. This aspect is about finding a balance between these two pulls. It invites us to soften our inner critic's voice and integrate practical thinking with compassion and kindness.

We could also feel hungry for meaning and understanding, but have trouble fully aligning our inner core with a personal philosophy or belief system -- and a crisis of faith may result. We may become aware of this challenge to our core beliefs through a relationship or someone else's perspective.

We may also feel alone in our opinions, visions, or plans for the future -- as if no-one gets it -- and past choices may no longer seem wise. It is important to look within, and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that actually doesn't serve us.

Rushing through the day will not support us. Look instead for ways you could adjust and let go of any perceptions that no longer serve your connection to spirit (and your ability to live a wholesome life). As best as you can, bring heart-centered, healthy routines into your life.

This is a good time for healing modalities that use water and sound: flotation tanks, hot salt baths, soothing music, drumming, tibetan singing bowls, etc.

As best as you can, be kind to yourself with this process; remember that true healing comes from understanding, embracing and even loving who we are deep down... A spirit who lives in human form. What might happen if you embraced your own humanity an extra 5%?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 5:41pm EST (see Monday morning for details).

Wednesday at 9:22am EST we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 8.5-hours, until 5:41pm EST. During this intuitive time, take the opportunity to get organized and develop clarity about what you really want deep down... then take some actions. That said, as always during a Moon VoC, it's best if we don't start anything brand-new. Instead, stick to your normal routine, or simply go with the flow -- you may want to plan your working day ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday at 5:41pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Saturday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Thursday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).

Thursday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:05am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until this Saturday. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for our thinking structures and be really honest with ourselves. How can we get the most from this opportunity?

It’s simple: Look for the larger truth. If we can go beyond what we have always known, we could get a helpful dose of reality — and an ability to focus on long-term issues. Since Mercury is no longer retrograde, we are able to address these issues with others now: What are we really trying to accomplish? What is reality showing us?

Remember, though: Opportunities are “openings”; they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 13-18 degrees of Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra or AriesIf so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Friday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).

Friday at 6:18am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 24-hours, until 6:26am EST (Saturday morning). Use this intuitive time to balance your need for equal and harmonious collaborations, with your drive toward personal visions and ideas. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan these 24 hours ahead of time ;-)

Friday evening, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:02pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will be strong until Sunday. This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.

This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, or to put a new spin on our "old" thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights -- this might be a busy day. As best as you can -- and as much as you want to -- stay open to other dimensions ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Saturday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and VoC until 6:25am EST (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).

Saturday at 6:25am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Monday evening.

Saturday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:56pm ESTWe started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until Sunday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect is a fork in the road: Do we commit fully to our long-term goals? Or to increasing our ability to come from the heart, follow our bliss, and take some risks? Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? What would a broader view show us -- and how could we serve what we then see?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-14 degrees of Aquarius or VirgoIf so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

One last thing I would like to mention for Saturday: We are 10 days away from the first of the upcoming Eclipses (on March 8th and March 23rd). A Solar Eclipse is a consciousness upgrade. Usually, for 7 - 10 days before and after an Eclipse, we are in uncharted territory; anything is possible and it is wise to expect the unexpected.

Anything started during that time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after Eclipse season is over. If possible, defer any major new projects until after April 7th, when the Eclipses are over.

Eclipses also tend to stir up a lot of uncertainty, leaving us nervous, anxious, unsettled, disoriented. As best as you can, stay grounded in the "here and now"; if you should feel rushed into something, take a deep breath and connect to your heart, intuition and inner wisdom; this will help carry you through.

To be clear, this does not mean that we need to drop everything -- it just means it's wise to check in with your higher Self (whichever way feels right to you ;-) Just like upgrading a computer, you'll get all the information you need once the upgrade is complete -- so as best you can, allow it to happen (and remember: it's just temporary).

Sunday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Saturday morning for details).

Sunday late morning: Sun/Neptune alignment in 9 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 10:47am EST. We started to feel this alignment from Thursday (Feb. 25th) on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (March 1st). This alignment asks that we slow down and allow for energies to move through us -- being present and compassionate are the higher vibrations of this alignment -- and we are more aware than ever that all things are interconnected.

Feeling things -- and allowing everyone (ourselves included) to "have their feelings" -- is highly recommended. When we start to resist the flow of life, the flow of feeling, we will experience more fear and suffering. The remedy is to open our hearts and let love flow through us... Try it! ;-)

We are becoming more aware of our interconnectedness with all living things, of our spiritual roots and divine origin, of the sacredness of all. If, on the other hand, we are unable to connect to our divine essence, we will feel separate -- and this illusion might cause us to look for an escape from our harsh realities.

Addiction is one such escape from reality, but there are many -- if only we could see that we suffer because of the assumption that we are separate/alone, that we are all fending for ourselves... For most of us, this is a very old, deeply embedded belief system.

If we can shift these beliefs and reconnect with our inner divinity, our loving heart, we can leave behind all suffering and see the perfection of it all. When we are born, we only understand the language of love, when we grow older we learn about fear and limitation. We are invited as adults to challenge our assumptions and learned behaviors.

What might be possible if we could let go of our fear-based thinking altogether and simply live from the heart, trusting the perfection of each "now" moment? What if we were to let go of all expectations and open our heart to the miracle of life? This is about surrendering to the moment of now, to love, to our heart -- not about giving up -- rather, allowing "what is" to be ok, to see the perfection in each "now moment".

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-12 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius or Gemini? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (The Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:56pm EST (see Saturday morning for details). At 2:55pm EST, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:56pm EST.  At that timethe Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. In the evening, an opportune Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday (March 2nd). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Allow for Changes -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Feb. 15th - Sun., Feb. 21st, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week started out hectic to say the least, but by the end of week, things had settled and I felt a lot more grounded. I keep coming back to looking at my level of Self-care and Self-compassion. My programming seems to be: accomplish and get great results as quickly as possible, only relax when I'm done with what I set out to do. It's like I'm always saying to myself "Don't stop, don't give up, do better..."

Of course, this part of my conditioned Self does not leave a lot of room for allowing, enjoying, and self-care. I know there is a part of me that is forgiving, kind and loving towards all of it, but sometimes -- especially when things get tight or stressful -- it seems so hard to access that part of myself. Awareness and compassion: I am doing the best I can, and that is all I can ever ask of myself. There's a long-term aspect that might be tied into all of this: the Jupiter/Chiron opposition, and then of course the Mars/Sun square from last week.

This week's headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Monday, very early in the morning; Venus changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius on Tuesday late evening; the Sun enters Pisces on Thursday night/Friday very early morning.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for a little over 3.5 hours), Wednesday late morning (for almost 3 hours), Friday morning (for almost 12 hours), and Sunday evening (for almost 22 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 9:35am EST. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.

Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down... We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-) This Moon placement also starts the built-up towards the first Quarter Moon...

Monday at 2:46am EST,the first Quarter Moon in Taurus will become exact (we started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Taurus last Saturday). The Moon, in steady, peaceful, comfort-oriented Taurus, makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in freedom-loving, forward-thinking, rebellious Aquarius.

We feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place last Monday (Feb. 8th); "seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 24-28 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius, Leo or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Monday morning at 5:54am EST,we enter a 3.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:35am EST. Use this intuitive time to enjoy solid, realistic, peaceful connections with others. It's best to move slow and not rush anything. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Monday at 9:35am EST, the Moon moves into curious, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.

Tuesday: the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini all day (see Monday late morning for details).

Tuesday late evening, at 11:17pm EST, Venus changes signs from productive, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn to freedom-oriented, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until March 12th. This requires that we provide more freedom in our relationships. Basically, we want to improve them, break away from what feels old or stale.

We want our intellectual qualities to be admired; we also want to connect to like-minded people that share our vision — so friendships and networking will be favored for the next 3 weeks. We may consider unusual financial investments. This is a good time for financial undertakings involving the following areas: electronics, technology and the internet, metaphysics, the arts group activities.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius? If so, this placement will bring extra love and beauty into your life. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you may feel the need for freedom or change in your relationships more strongly.

Wednesday: the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini until 2:24pm EST (see Monday late morning for details).

Wednesday late morning at 11:37am EST we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 3-hours, until 2:24pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect to others and share your vision for a better future. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Wednesday at 2:24pm EST, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Friday evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others. Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary.

Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.

Thursday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Wednesday afternoon for more details).

Thursday morning and afternoon: it's all about self-care. Spiritual and creative endeavors are favored, as is going with the flow. Towards the evening, we may start to feel uneasy about something, sort of "awkward" -- we need to develop inner awareness and make some adjustments.

Later in the evening, the Moon makes a T-square with Pluto and Uranus, inviting us to look for creative solutions and focus on cooperation and collaboration. As best as you can, find win-win solutions and come from love rather than fear.

There may also be a tension between our need to zoom ahead, versus our desire to nurture and be nurtured -- to feel safe in the world. Others are wrestling with this same tension, so we may feel impatient with them, and they with us. As best as you can, be kind with yourself and others, and make adjustments to manage these incompatible energies.

Friday:the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer until 9:17pm EST (see Wednesday afternoon for more details).

Thursday night/Friday very early morning, at 12:34am EST, the Sun changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius to creative, compassionate Pisces, where it will journey until March 20th. This brings our awareness to our sense of oneness with everyone and everything around us. We feel like sponges, able to pick up all energy around us; this also makes us more sensitive and emotional. We are more drawn towards expressing ourselves in a creative or spiritual way.

Music or energy healing gives us vitality and can heighten our own personal vibrations.  We need to slow down a little and listen to our intuition more fully -- if we ignore our feelings and the subtle messages we are getting, we will most likely feel more anxious and somewhat frustrated. This could also be connected to the slow pace that our body or our surroundings are demanding of us.

The keyword here is "allowing": as best as you can, be aware of what you are resisting, moment to moment, and create some space -- allow it to be as it is. Notice when you are sensing someone else's feelings rather than your own.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Pisces Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Pisces, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will depend on allowing things to flow and being gentle with yourself.

Friday morning at 9:36am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 12-hours, until 9:17pm EST. Use this intuitive time to move forward with family and/or home plans and projects. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)

Friday evening at 9:17pm EST, the Moon moves into extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Monday morning. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?

Saturday: the Moon remains in extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday evening for more details).

Saturday is all about creating a balance between head and heart -- and between our vision for the future versus what brings us joy in the here and now. It comes down to this: if we want to see a greater shift in the world at large, we must each do our own part, and share our unique gifts. As best as you can, be authentic about what you love, and what turns you on.

Sunday: the Moon remains in extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Friday evening for more details).

Sunday evening at 8:17pmEST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts almost 10-hours, until 6:24am EST (Monday morning). Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and (as best as you can) and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for deeply passionate, authentic interactions, and for fun — explore, take a risk.

If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your evening and Monday early morning ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 6:24am EST. At that time, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact at 1:20pm EST) More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Only 2 more weeks to take advantage of the New Year's Special. Get a look ahead at 2016: How can you align yourself with the universal energies? How can you make powerful choices? In this 75-minute reading, you will discover the answers to these and many other questions. You'll also receive a copy of your birth chart and a recording of the entire session. I'm only offering this reading until the end of February (so act now ;-)

Anger vs. Assertiveness -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Feb. 8th - Sun., Feb. 14th, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week's theme was letting go of past perceptions, taking it one moment at a time, and allowing my feelings to flow without losing clarity and the understanding of what needed to happen.

This week's headline items: the New Moon in Aquarius becomes exact on Monday morning;on Friday, we can start to take actions on the Intentions we set earlier in the week; Mercury changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius on Saturday late afternoon -- and ends its shadow phase on Sunday early afternoon.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for 18 hours), Wednesday late evening (for 5.5 hours), and Saturday morning (for 1 hour).

Monday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day.It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning.

Monday in the early morning, an opportune Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:38am EST.We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Tuesday nightIt's an opportunity to bring healing to our wounds around relationships or our sense of self-worth.

We get a chance to love ourselves and heal deep fears of not being "good enough". Healing happens much faster when we can open to forgiving ourselves and others. As best as you can, bring compassion and understanding to yourself, to others, and to those past experiences that wounded you.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Capricorn, Pisces, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Monday at 9:39am EST, the New Moon in 19 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, we have our eye on the future. We see a clear vision for our life and are ready to make huge improvements. We strive for equality, collaboration, progress. As discussed in my last video, the Aquarian energy asks of us: Where am I called to make a difference?

The Aquarian energy is connected to our visionary, humanitarian side -- our ability to be an agent of change in the creation of a better future for all. Aquarius deals with the power of ideals, technology, and inventions. We are interested in the collective and are focused on changing group consciousness.

Some questions that bring this into focus: What could you as an individual do for humanity? How could group consciousness help humanity progress?

Each one of us has a special gift, a spark unique to us; when we access this inner genius and share it with the world, we are capable of quantum leaps of insight and remarkable collaborations with others. How does your inner genius communicate? Where does it want to communicate?

Mars in Scorpio squares the New Moon in Aquarius and trines Chiron in Pisces. This invites us to stretch ourselves for the duration of this lunar cycle, to grow beyond what we know ourselves to be; also to heal wounds from the past. In order for us to clearly see the future we must first address what lurks in the shadows -- our unconscious -- the suppressed, feared, denied, ignored, shameful, etc. The inner work continues...

What are your true motivations? If fears were driving you, what might they be? What might shift if we faced those fears -- acknowledged them, brought them out into the open? What if we allowed ourselves to surrender to our own higher power, or to our passionately pumping, open heart?

Uranus (the ruler of Aquarius), currently in Aries, makes several interesting aspects...it squares the Pluto/Venus/Mercury Stellium in Capricorn, it inconjuncts Mars in Scorpio and it trines Saturn in Sagittarius. These aspects are asking us to redefine personal and collective freedom. In order for us to achieve a global consciousness based on freedom, equality and mutual benefits, we must first look at our demons (shadow issues) on an individual, social and collective level.

Saturn helps this by supporting a more serious look at our belief systems -- leading to an admission of where our "now" path has gone out of alignment with beliefs that stem from our past. Adjustments are required if we want to create a better future for all.

What alternative ways might lead to our goals? Do we have the courage to face and embrace our dark sides? What might be possible if you forgave yourself for all past mistakes? Or any limitations you may have? How about fears or phobias you still carry around (whether from a past life or this lifetime)?

Now is the time to realize that selfish motivations (coming from a fearful place) are not getting us what we want. We are asked to let go of our fearful past conditioning, our scarcity mentality, and instead allow ourselves to be immersed in a vision that calls us to "live into" the highest version of ourselves. What is holding you back? Could honest conversations with yourself and others help you face and embrace your fears and let go of past hurts?

Our individual capacity to effect change is far greater than we realize -- and when we team up with like-minded people who care deeply about creating a better future for this planet and its life forms, we can create tremendous change. Aim for wholeness, forgiveness, and a courageously open heart... Your light will shine all the brighter when all of you is visible and authentic -- everyone's will :-)

Finally, this New Moon reminds us that to be fully alive we must stretch and grow; to grow we must change. Ask yourself: What would it take for me to boldly follow my dreams? Who could I connect with?  Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 17-21 degrees of Aquarius, Leo, Taurus, or Scorpio? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly.

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions (most potent) would be any time between 3:31am EST Tuesday early morning and 9:39am EST Wednesday late morning.

At the moment the New Moon becomes exact, we also enter a 18-hour Moon void of course (VoC); it lasts until 3:31am EST, Tuesday (i.e. very early morning). Use this intuitive time to be still and go within. Visualize a future that makes the best of everything available to all living beings.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Monday day and evening ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday early morning at 3:31am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns.

Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us. As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

We can now start to set our Intentions for this Lunar cycle (Tuesday 3:31am EST until Wednesday 9:39am EST) Go within and seed anything

Tuesday afternoon, a harmonious Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 2:14pm EST. This gives us a chance to learn to accept our own desires and feelings of anger as valid -- so that when we do express them, we express them naturally and with confidence. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday of last week on (Feb. 2nd); it will be strong until Monday of next week (Feb. 15th).

What could help you face and embrace your fears and let go of past hurts? How can you bring understanding towards your anger and assertiveness? What if you embraced and honored your desires?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Tuesday early morning for details).

Wednesday very early morning, a harmonious Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:54am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will be strong until this Friday. This aspect brings a good dose of optimism, faith and a sense of the "bigger picture" to our relationships and finances. We tend to relate to others in a positive (even inspiring) manner; as you can imagine, it is thus much easier to make social contacts.

Our outlook is cheerful and hopeful, the atmosphere cooperative -- it's a great time for winning people's enthusiasm. We are more optimistic and trusting with friends and lovers. We might feel an urge to connect to people from other countries or foreign cultures, just to have an adventure, or widen our horizons. Active fun and joyful exploration are favored.

Financially, there might be a tendency to spend more than usual, as we feel confident that an abundance of resources is available to us. There are indeed definitely plenty of opportunities to be had, financial and otherwise, especially in connection with the health industry (or anything that involves food and nutrition). Educational businesses or endeavors and the travel industry are also highlighted ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-25 degrees of Capricorn, Virgo or Taurus? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Wednesday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:28pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Thursday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

Our energy tends to be directed towards big things right now. Our sense of self may change as we learn that we are being overly enthusiastic. Due to our high optimism, we may take on more than we can physically handle -- if we feel drained or frustrated at this time, it might be helpful to look at our overall direction in life: Are we being realistic about what can be achieved?

It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal beliefs about life are being received by others... Can we involve them in our daily routines? And even perhaps our vision for the future?

Neither self-criticism or arrogance will serve us now; as best as you can, stay real and stay grounded while reaching for the sky -- be like a tall tree... Deep roots, long branches ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-23 degrees of Aquarius or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Wednesday at 11:25pm EST we enter a 5.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 4:55am EST (Thursday early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your higher Self -- whether awake or through your dreams -- and bring a sense of flow and faith to your long-term plans and business interactions.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new -- stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan tonight (and Thursday early morning) ahead of time -- unless you'll be asleep ;-)

Thursday at 4:55am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Saturday morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

The Moon will not make any aspects to other planets until tomorrow early morning -- so today (Thursday) feels a little bit like a day-long Moon VoC. It's best to go with the flow or explore deeper emotional issues -- fears, attachments, things you are passionate about, desires, etc....

Friday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Sunday very early morning for more details).

If you did set intentions on Tuesday or Wednesday, after the New Moon became exact, Friday will be a great time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?

Saturday morning, at 5:32am EST, we enter a one hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:36am EST. Use this intuitive time to think outside the box. Do you best to make adjustments or find creative ways to honor your thought processes and physical needs. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Also on Saturday morning, at 6:36am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Monday late morning. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.

Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down... We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-) This Moon placement also starts the built-up towards the first Quarter Moon, exact on Monday very early morning. More on that next week…

Saturday late afternoon, at 5:43pm EST, Mercury changes signs from practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn to freedom-loving, forward-thinking, objective Aquarius, where it will journey until March 5th.For the next three weeks, we tend to contradict others more quickly, and offer a different perspective. We enjoy intellectual debates. We are quicker and more alert; our powers of observation are particularly strong.

We have something interesting to say, and our perspective on issues can be delightfully unusual and surprisingly insightful. This makes for some great conversations. We are more attracted to scientific and/or metaphysical pursuits right now. Anything that promises progress and advancement for mankind has special appeal.

Due to its retrograde phase, Mercury already travelled through the very early degrees of Aquarius in the first week of January. Think back: what came up around then? Where could you go from there (i.e. what's next)?

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for focusing on your future and any humanitarian causes. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Aquarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.

Saturday evening, an opportune Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 5:59pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Tuesday on; it will be strong until Wednesday of next week. This aspect is an opportunity for us to tap into our optimism, enthusiasm and sense of expansion. We are more likely to connect on a deep emotional level -- we want to get to the bottom of things.

We feel strong, and we are more straightforward than ever. Our powers of assertion are strong at this time, and they go over well with others. As with all opportunities in life, this opportunity is not simply handed to us, we have to make something of it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Scorpio, Virgo, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)

Sunday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Saturday morning for more details).

As you may recall, on Jan.25th, when Mercury stationed direct, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases as well: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it's best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.)

The good news is, the Mercuryshadow phase ends today (Sunday) at 1pm EST. This means that we can finally go ahead and book those plane tickets -- or buy that new car or iPhone (or anything else communication- or transportation-related). We can also more easily take in new information, so teaching, sharing and learning will be more effective. Click here to read my blog on the subject.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day(see Saturday morning for more details). At 2:46am EST,the first Quarter Moon in Taurus become exact. At 5:54am EST,we enter a 3.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:35am EST. At that time, the Moon enters curious, versatile, chatty GeminiMore about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
