I could feel a big shift happening within me last week: I released my need to know it all and always make the "right" decision and opened instead to simply allowing it all to unfold, trusting the timing and the process. I was invited to not try so hard (effort-less) :-) All of this was able to occur because of Mars' transit through Scorpio and Jupiter's opposition to Chiron (you may recall I mentioned these aspects last week).
I had some amazing help with all of this. My mentors, healers and guides are always supporting me on my journey towards a greater understanding of my own human nature, and allowing me therefore to release my fear-based conditioning. I am most grateful for all the support I am receiving from every single one of them! Thank you!
Before we get into the upcoming week's aspects, I want to mention something: Eclipses are coming up in March! I want to invite you to get ready and get the maximum support! Join me for my very first Monthly Live Forecasting Forum: tomorrow, Feb. 22nd at 7pm EST/4pm PST (90-minute webinar/Fee: $24) This is an interactive forum, so you can ask questions, and we can get into more depth than is possible in my weekly forecasts. I am excited to be able to speak and connect with you in real time. Register Now!
This week's headline items: the Full Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Monday; a long-term aspect between Jupiter and Chiron becomes exact on Tuesday; and on Saturday, we enter the 10-day window before the Solar Eclipse.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday until 6:24am EST, Wednesday morning (for almost 8.5 hours), and Friday morning (for a little over 24 hours).
Monday: the Moon remains in extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo and VoC until 6:24am EST. At that time, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Wednesday late afternoon. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.
Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact at 1:20pm EST).
As mentioned above, the Moon’s entrance into Virgo earlier today started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon that will be "exact" today (Monday) at 1:20pm EST in 3 degrees of Virgo.
A Full Moon is always an opposition between the Moon and the Sun. For the next two weeks, we seek balance, alignment and integration around two perspectives that are apparently polar opposites. Very often we experience (and achieve) this balance through our interactions with others -- so relationships of all kinds are highlighted during Full Moons.
This Full Moon in Virgo opposes the Sun in Pisces. This also resonates with the current placement of the Moon Nodes (our Soul's Journey). Feel free to watch my video on the subject: https://youtu.be/m6vfeOru3d4
Pisces is all about spirit, intuition, mysticism, metaphysics, our ability for feeling/sensing things -- you could say it perceives waves of potential. The Piscean quest leads to the realization that we can bring light, love and compassion to everything we do -- without slipping into helplessness, victimization and martyrdom.
Whereas Pisces is all about the non-material, Virgo is all about matter, reason, science, rational thinking and discernment — it focuses on the particular, analyzes. Its spiritual task is to move from judgement to discernment, humiliation to humility, servitude to service.
Virgo is also about a wholesome approach to our bodies: having an understanding that every cell in our body is alive and interconnected with all other cells; that our physical body, feeling "body", mental "body" and spirit "body" are just as interconnected with each other. Every cell in our body is in communication with all of our systems. Everything affects everything else.
What would it take to balance intellect with intuition? Could you bring a little more awareness to the balance between effort and surrender? Rather than pushing, over-thinking or giving up, could you experiment with taking small, simple actions and have faith in the universal support? What if you just trusted in a "perfect" outcome?
Intellect measures, compares, and categorizes. It prefers the linear, the sequential -- yet the natural world is complex and non-linear. Everything in the Universe is made up of energy, so everything is interconnected, everything is essentially the same: all is energy.
Life is a miracle: our bodies are miraculous, our physical and spiritual abilities are miraculous. The one thing that keeps us from seeing and experiencing all of it is Fear. Fear creates prejudice, exploitation, perfectionism, impatience, a need for control over life or its lifeforms, tyranny, etc. This is not just about the outside world -- news, politics, etc. -- that's just a reflection of what goes on inside of us on a daily basis!
As best as you can, observe when "Fear" shows up (and remember, it shows up in many ways)... To learn more about additional aspects connected to this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video.
To sum it all up: This Full Moon invites us to integrate matter with spirit, reason with intuition, clarity of mind with openness of heart. Be open to discovering the synergy between intellect and feeling, discernment and compassion, order and chaos, practical thinking and imagination...
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point, or personal planets in 1-5 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, this month's Full Moon will affect you more; the same is true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Tuesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday morning for details).
Tuesday afternoon, a long-term Jupiter/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 3:01pm EST. We started to feel this aspect back on Feb. 5th; it will be strong until March 10th. This is the second time within the last 3 months that this aspect has become exact.
We may be pulled in two different directions: On the one hand, we have a clear, positive outlook and a desire to be of service in a larger way; on the other, we are called to embrace our insecurities concerning our intuition and faith in the flow of life. This aspect is about finding a balance between these two pulls. It invites us to soften our inner critic's voice and integrate practical thinking with compassion and kindness.
We could also feel hungry for meaning and understanding, but have trouble fully aligning our inner core with a personal philosophy or belief system -- and a crisis of faith may result. We may become aware of this challenge to our core beliefs through a relationship or someone else's perspective.
We may also feel alone in our opinions, visions, or plans for the future -- as if no-one gets it -- and past choices may no longer seem wise. It is important to look within, and come to a greater understanding of what we truly need or believe, rather than blindly following something that actually doesn't serve us.
Rushing through the day will not support us. Look instead for ways you could adjust and let go of any perceptions that no longer serve your connection to spirit (and your ability to live a wholesome life). As best as you can, bring heart-centered, healthy routines into your life.
This is a good time for healing modalities that use water and sound: flotation tanks, hot salt baths, soothing music, drumming, tibetan singing bowls, etc.
As best as you can, be kind to yourself with this process; remember that true healing comes from understanding, embracing and even loving who we are deep down... A spirit who lives in human form. What might happen if you embraced your own humanity an extra 5%?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-23 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius)
Wednesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 5:41pm EST (see Monday morning for details).
Wednesday at 9:22am EST we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 8.5-hours, until 5:41pm EST. During this intuitive time, take the opportunity to get organized and develop clarity about what you really want deep down... then take some actions. That said, as always during a Moon VoC, it's best if we don't start anything brand-new. Instead, stick to your normal routine, or simply go with the flow -- you may want to plan your working day ahead of time ;-)
Wednesday at 5:41pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Saturday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.
We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.
Thursday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).
Thursday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:05am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until this Saturday. This is an opportunity to take responsibility for our thinking structures and be really honest with ourselves. How can we get the most from this opportunity?
It’s simple: Look for the larger truth. If we can go beyond what we have always known, we could get a helpful dose of reality — and an ability to focus on long-term issues. Since Mercury is no longer retrograde, we are able to address these issues with others now: What are we really trying to accomplish? What is reality showing us?
Remember, though: Opportunities are “openings”; they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 13-18 degrees of Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra or Aries? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Friday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).
Friday at 6:18am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 24-hours, until 6:26am EST (Saturday morning). Use this intuitive time to balance your need for equal and harmonious collaborations, with your drive toward personal visions and ideas. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan these 24 hours ahead of time ;-)
Friday evening, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:02pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on; it will be strong until Sunday. This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.
This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, or to put a new spin on our "old" thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights -- this might be a busy day. As best as you can -- and as much as you want to -- stay open to other dimensions ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)
Saturday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra and VoC until 6:25am EST (see Wednesday late afternoon for details).
Saturday at 6:25am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Monday evening. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time. As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to.
Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free. Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.
Saturday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:56pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until Sunday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect is a fork in the road: Do we commit fully to our long-term goals? Or to increasing our ability to come from the heart, follow our bliss, and take some risks? Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? What would a broader view show us -- and how could we serve what we then see?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-14 degrees of Aquarius or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
One last thing I would like to mention for Saturday: We are 10 days away from the first of the upcoming Eclipses (on March 8th and March 23rd). A Solar Eclipse is a consciousness upgrade. Usually, for 7 - 10 days before and after an Eclipse, we are in uncharted territory; anything is possible and it is wise to expect the unexpected.
Anything started during that time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after Eclipse season is over. If possible, defer any major new projects until after April 7th, when the Eclipses are over.
Eclipses also tend to stir up a lot of uncertainty, leaving us nervous, anxious, unsettled, disoriented. As best as you can, stay grounded in the "here and now"; if you should feel rushed into something, take a deep breath and connect to your heart, intuition and inner wisdom; this will help carry you through.
To be clear, this does not mean that we need to drop everything -- it just means it's wise to check in with your higher Self (whichever way feels right to you ;-) Just like upgrading a computer, you'll get all the information you need once the upgrade is complete -- so as best you can, allow it to happen (and remember: it's just temporary).
Sunday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Saturday morning for details).
Sunday late morning: a Sun/Neptune alignment in 9 degrees of Pisces becomes exact at 10:47am EST. We started to feel this alignment from Thursday (Feb. 25th) on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (March 1st). This alignment asks that we slow down and allow for energies to move through us -- being present and compassionate are the higher vibrations of this alignment -- and we are more aware than ever that all things are interconnected.
Feeling things -- and allowing everyone (ourselves included) to "have their feelings" -- is highly recommended. When we start to resist the flow of life, the flow of feeling, we will experience more fear and suffering. The remedy is to open our hearts and let love flow through us... Try it! ;-)
We are becoming more aware of our interconnectedness with all living things, of our spiritual roots and divine origin, of the sacredness of all. If, on the other hand, we are unable to connect to our divine essence, we will feel separate -- and this illusion might cause us to look for an escape from our harsh realities.
Addiction is one such escape from reality, but there are many -- if only we could see that we suffer because of the assumption that we are separate/alone, that we are all fending for ourselves... For most of us, this is a very old, deeply embedded belief system.
If we can shift these beliefs and reconnect with our inner divinity, our loving heart, we can leave behind all suffering and see the perfection of it all. When we are born, we only understand the language of love, when we grow older we learn about fear and limitation. We are invited as adults to challenge our assumptions and learned behaviors.
What might be possible if we could let go of our fear-based thinking altogether and simply live from the heart, trusting the perfection of each "now" moment? What if we were to let go of all expectations and open our heart to the miracle of life? This is about surrendering to the moment of now, to love, to our heart -- not about giving up -- rather, allowing "what is" to be ok, to see the perfection in each "now moment".
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 6-12 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Sagittarius or Gemini? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (The Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)
A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:56pm EST (see Saturday morning for details). At 2:55pm EST, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:56pm EST. At that time, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. In the evening, an opportune Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday (March 2nd). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
