Last week was quite busy -- and I had some wonderful breakthroughs as well. I realized that part of my early conditioning was that my sense of self-worth was aligned with accomplishing things and being there for others. Therefore being in action felt fulfilling and comfortable. It was almost like saying to myself: "When you are not doing anything, you are not worthy". So, even though this T-square with Saturn, Jupiter and Chiron has been stirring up quite a bit of restlessness and overwhelm, it also brought me some tremendous gains and realizations about myself.
This week's headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Tuesday evening; Mercury changes signs from Aquarius to Pisces on Saturday morning; Mars changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Saturday evening.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 4 hours), Wednesday evening (for a little over 7 hours), and Saturday late morning (for 17minutes).
Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 6:56pm EST. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time. As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to.
Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free. Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.
Monday at 2:55pm EST, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:56pm EST. Use this intuitive time to go deeper in your relationships; connect to people and things you feel truly passionate about. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)
At 6:56pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Thursday early morning. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner.
We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now"; we pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate. This also starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday evening)
Monday evening, an opportune Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:07pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday (Feb.27th) on; it will be strong until this this Wednesday (March 2nd). This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring a sense of realism to our relationships, values and financial affairs: We are more able to get to the bottom of what needs to be dealt with in those areas and take responsibility for how we are handling things.
On a financial level, we have an opportunity to see more clearly when and how we might make long-term investments in other people's resources. There's no need to rush anything; think it through carefully and responsibly -- do the "due diligence". Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us, we have to "take" it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-18 degrees of Aquarius, Sagittarius, Aries, or Libra? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra orCapricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Also on Monday: Very last change to take advantage of the New Year's Special. Offer ends at midnight! Book Now
Tuesday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).
Tuesday at 6:11pm EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 12 degrees of Sagittarius will be exact. The Moon in adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in sensitive, dreamy, compassionate Pisces. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon, which is also a Solar Eclipse (March 8th).
With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us take a look at what was started around the time of the last New Moon -- in this case, around Feb. 8th. We now have about a week to wrap those projects up. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since Feb. 8th? What did it mean for you?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-14 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Wednesday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Monday evening for details).
Wednesday evening, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:12pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Friday. This gives us the opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others -- to do something different or unusual -- freedom plays a big part in this aspect.
Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time -- it's a favorable time for social meetings and events. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through your relationships.
We're also ready to experiment with our financial undertakings. Energetic matches with this aspect would be: all things "tech" (electronics, technology, internet); metaphysics; the arts; group activities. In general, is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had an intuitive flash ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-20 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Sagittarius or Gemini? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, Uranus rules Aquarius).
Wednesday at 9:55pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 7-hours, until 5:01am EST (Thursday early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to communicate a future vision that expands people's horizons. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Thursday: the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius and VoC until 5:01am EST (see Monday evening and Wednesday late evening for details).
Thursday at 5:01am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Saturday late morning. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.
We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)
Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?
Thursday morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 7:04am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday morning on; it will be strong until Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
This aspect is a fork in the road: Are we going to focus on future visions or ideals (whether financial or relationship)... or on improving our understanding of the practical level of our day-to-day existence, so that we feel more optimistic? Awareness is key with this aspect: What is needed? How can we serve the broader view?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Aquarius or Virgo? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).
Friday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Thursday morning for details). We can get a lot done today; given that, take some breaks, if you can -- obsessing will not get you "there" faster ;-)
Friday afternoon: We may feel the urge to reinvent the wheel and make some big changes in our lives. As best as you can, resist that urge -- and focus on completing projects, rather than on innovation.
Saturday is quite a full day! The Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 11:22am EST (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday night/Saturday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 12:43am EST. We started feeling it build from Wednesday on -- and it will be strong until next week Monday. This aspect brings some juicy energy to our conversations. This is a chance to have some discussions that have been overdue.
As best as you can, make it a productive discussion that serves you and others -- a win-win -- otherwise you might feel really awful afterwards. Also, watch out on the road for some crazy drivers… rushing might not necessarily get us there faster ;-)
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or 0-2 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)
Saturday early morning, at 5:23am EST, Mercury leaves freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, and moves into creative, compassionate Pisces. It will journey through this dreamy, creative sign until March 21st. We are moving from the mind into the heart. For these next two weeks, we get a chance to communicate with compassion -- we see the commonalities between us all, rather than what separates us.
We seem to be connected to Source more easily during this time -- if we allow that energy to come through -- and our thinking will be very creative, imaginative and intuitive.
The key with this energy is to remain in the “here and now” and open up to a higher vibration. If we can do that, we will be able to download information from an intuitive place, rather than thinking things through. This could also be the reason why our mind is slowing down a bit and why we speak more softly.
Mercury in Pisces also offers us an opportunity to let go of any mental structures, conditionings or fears that are no longer serving us. If you are not connected to your intuition, you may want to double check with other people, before signing any documents or buying any big-ticket items. Are you ready to connect to your intuition more fully? Can you allow for the unfolding process, trusting your higher Self more fully?
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to learn to surrender to a slower pace and connect more fully to your heart and intuition.
Saturday late morning, at 11:05am EST, we enter a very brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 17 minutes. Use this intuitive time: Take a moment and check in with your body... What are you feeling? What needs to be done next?
Saturday late morning, at 11:22am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Monday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.
Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.
The Balsamic Moon phase starts Saturday afternoon; this lasts until Tuesday evening of next week (March 8th), when the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Pisces becomes exact (…more on that next week). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.
For some of us, this might be a stretch, especially since we are in Eclipse season. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us.
What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Saturday evening, at 9:29pm EST, Mars changes signs from passionate Scorpio to adventurous Sagittarius, where it will journey for an unusually long time, until May 27th (due to its retrograde phase). With this placement, we are going to feel a little restless, maybe even impatient at times -- we want to explore. This is a great time to get into sports or some athletic activity. We have so many ideas and interests that we can't just stick to one thing right now, so we may have several projects running at the same time.
It's a time when we prefer to improvise and just wing it. That makes it more fun and brings a sense of adventure to our day. We also like to have some good debates with others, persuading them to share our beliefs. It's not the best time to get too serious about life, as we prefer to feel free-flowing and excited about new things -- especially when we can learn something new ;-)
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more adventurous and probably more impatient. You may want to explore new sports or physical activities. If you are a Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.
Sunday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Saturday late morning for details).
Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, a challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:04am EST. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday night on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday night. We're asked to stretch, to grow beyond what we have known ourselves to be; we are urged out of our comfort zone, towards a higher truth with ourselves and others.
Find creative ways to honor your inner process. Connect to the peace within, even if that means slowing down, even if it means not knowing what might happen next. Would you rather have your old beliefs... or more peace and calm? What if you gave yourself permission to simply “be"? What if you just decided to trust divine timing?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Sunday morning, a somewhat challenging Jupiter/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:45am EST. We've been feeling this aspect from Monday on (Feb. 29th); it will be strong until next week Friday (March 11th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.
We might find it difficult to reach agreement or even find something in common with others at this time. This could result in restlessness: We need to make changes, but may not know what, how or when. There could also be bursts of rebelliousness if we are not in touch with ourselves. We might avoid making dramatic changes until we're clearer about what we want -- awareness is key with this aspect. What is needed? How can we serve the broader view? Where do we need some clarity?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 17-20 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Sunday late evening, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 11:16pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday night. This is an opportunity to bring a sense of compassion and creativity to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.
It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real and soften our approach a little. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio or Taurus? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
A head's up for next Monday (March 7th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 2:08pm EST (see Saturday late morning for details). At 3:46am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 10.5-hours, until 2:08pm EST. Monday is also the last day before the Solar Eclipse in Pisces becomes exact. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
