Last week was another intense one for me, with lots of opportunities for healing and allowing myself to feel all my feelings -- addressing my "feeling body". Receiving care and energy healing created a breakthrough. I had a strong desire to move forward but I could tell that it wasn't quite time yet to put the pedal to the metal.
More and more, I see how important it is to be open to receiving support in life; it's almost like we can no longer afford to tackle life without the help of others. Having people -- coaches, healers, my hubby -- who support me in being my best and connect with me at my worst to help me shift and transform... it's invaluable.

This week's headline items: on Monday, the Mars stations ends and the first Quarter Moon in Libra becomes exact. Venus changes signs from Cancer to Leo on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. On Wednesday, Mercury follows Venus into Leo and Jupiter opposes the degree of March 8th's Solar Eclipse. On Friday, Uranus starts to slow down, beginning its station.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late morning (for almost 6 hours), Thursday evening (for almost 11 hours), and Sunday morning (for little over 10.5 hours).
Monday (July 11th): the Moon will stay in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day. It will journey there until late afternoon Tuesday. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time; we are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace (and accompanying aversion to direct conflict) could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't decide. As best as you can, find inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Mondayearly morning, a challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:29am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday night on; it will be strong until Tuesday night. This aspect creates some tension in our lives: We may feel anxious or stressed by a situation or an interaction with family, or something to do with the home (or real-estate in general).
We'll likely want to think outside the box. We may also want to bring some changes to a life situation or emotional connection that no longer fits. Again: We are being called to play a bigger game and may feel overwhelmed by what it all means. Our minds may be influenced by our feelings about a certain situation -- and we could become irritable.
It might be best to channel some of that nervous energy into constructive pursuits. Since there's a tendency right now to challenge established thought, or play devil's advocate, it's helpful for us to get in touch with our own opinions and feelings -- and to reflect on what we truly believe. If we learn to trust our own thoughts, intelligence, integrity and ingenuity can shine through.
As best as you can, take it one moment at a time... Collaborate, cooperate, stay objective. Rather than jumping to conclusions, get grounded in the here and now -- your breath (and awareness of your body) is a good way to do this.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Monday early afternoon, a harmonious Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:33pm EDT; we began to sense this aspect from Sunday morning on, its influence will be strong until this Wednesday. This aspect is a wonderful possibility for deep emotional healing in regards to our conditioning and day to day thinking structures.
We can bring compassion, for ourselves and others, to emotionally "difficult" communications. We are able to allow more for the flow of feelings as we share ourselves; forgiveness and understanding towards ourselves and others comes more easily now in general.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).
Monday at 8:52pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 20 degrees of Libra becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Libra on Sunday morning. The Moon, in relationship-oriented, balance-seeking, cerebral Libra makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in protective, introverted, emotional Cancer.
We feel compelled to take action. Last week, on July 4th, the New Moon in Cancer became exact: "Seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.
As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 18-22 degrees of Libra, Cancer, Aries or Capricorn? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
Last but not least, Mars resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station today (Monday). What came up over the last three weeks around "doing and pursuing"? Or around any actions or goals connected with intimacy? Now is a good time to address it all and move forward...
Tuesday (July 12th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 4:52pm EDT.
Tuesday very early morning at 1:34am EDT, Venus changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until Aug. 5th.
Venus in Leo changes how we "do" relationships. We're "in love with love", so we especially appreciate (and are turned on by) gestures of love and romance. It goes the other way, too: we are warm, affectionate and loyal with those we love and cherish (as long as they show us that they deserve our love). Grand gestures of love and exciting, tantalizing interactions work best. Lavish everyone with compliments (including yourself).
We also want to have fun and express our love for life... and what better way is there to do that than to throw a huge party for everyone we love? And if a "huge party" doesn't appeal, don't opt for the couch and the TV: get out there. It's a good time to take a chance!
"Taking a chance" applies to the financial realm too -- especially any ventures related to entertainment, children, sports or the stock market.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more outgoing and confident for the period Venus moves through Leo. Your heart will want to connect and be admired. Creative endeavors will feel satisfying to you. If you are a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life for as long as Venus is in your sign.
Tuesday late morning, at 11:01am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 6 hours, until 4:52pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect and collaborate with others outside your regular comfort zone. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Tuesday ahead of time ;-)
Tuesday late afternoon at 4:52pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday morning. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Wednesday (July 13th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Tuesday morning for details).
Wednesday afternoon: Jupiter opposes the degree of March 8th’s Solar Eclipse -- and we may experience something that resonates back to that time.
This will most likely be connected to trusting the flow of life -- perhaps connected to spiritual union, unconditional love, or creativity. This is an opportunity to open up our consciousness, and see how far we have come -- as best as you can, keep on expanding your perspectives on life.
Ask yourself: How have I grown since March 8th? How have I been doing at moving from "failure and blame" to "growth and learning"? How much of the time do I keep my heart open? What have I learned about trusting to divine timing and the flow of life? Where can I grow even further?
Wednesday evening, at 8:47pm EDT, Mercury -- the energy of communication -- changes signs from sensitive, protective Cancer to fun-loving, extroverted Leo, where it will journey until July 30th.
During this cycle, we think with our heart, and want to express ourselves to the fullest. We're thankful for what we have and share generously. We are idealistic and playful with others, but also ambitious; we want to leave a lasting impression.
We best process new information by creative means: "thinking out loud" or writing can be great vehicles for this.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the need for being self-expressed and playful more strongly. If you have a Leo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you will be more chatty for the next 2 weeks.
Thursday (July 14th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Tuesday morning for details).
Thursday very early morning, a long-term, somewhat challenging Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 1:13am EDT; due to the Mars an Uranus station, we began to feel this aspect from June 13th on, and its influence will be strong until July 19th.
We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting -- this aspect calls for flexibility.
We experience an internal stress between our masculine energies (assertivness/agression) and our need to express our unique spark (and the desire to make a difference).
We are being asked to go within and look at our personal goals and desires -- and reach a new perspective on how we go about achieving them. Are we driven by personal resistance and rebellion, or motivated to positively impact humanity?
Once we learn to go deeper, and "research" several options, we will discover new ways to move forward and embrace our uniqueness in a healthy way. We can also learn how to demonstrate our strength and power more authentically -- from a place of love and abundance, rather than fear and limitation.
How might you get in touch with your inner genius and share it authentically? What "old" behaviors can now be released? What might be possible if you could get 5% more "comfortable with being uncomfortable"?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-25 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius ).
Thursday evening, at 6:22pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 11 hours, until 5:14am EDT (Friday morning). Use this intuitive time to connect with others (and with yourself) on a deep emotional level. What do you feel most passionate about today? How might you share your passion with others?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Thursday evening and Friday early morning ahead of time ;-)
Friday (July 15th) at 5:14am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Friday late morning.
We're strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time -- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders.
Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see. As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you.
Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you aren't overdoing or overstating things.
Also on Friday: Uranus begins to slow down -- it will come to a complete halt on July 29th in 24.5 degrees of Aries -- starting its 5-month retrograde phase. We will feel this station until August 12th; until then, anything connected to Uranus's energy will come into our awareness quite strongly; we are faced with this planet’s message.
Uranus is all about breaking away from traditional structures, moving towards a new future, a future that serves others as well as ourselves. Keyword: Freedom. We might have flashes of insight or new ideas about what needs to change in our lives. Definitely expect the unexpected.
Uranus also rules electronics, technology and the internet, so don't be surprised if you experience some interruptions or short-term failures in these areas. Group activities are also ruled by Uranus, so these will also be more at the forefront of our awareness. As best as you can, stay open and flexible, go with the flow -- and pay attention to those messages from the Universe ;-)
As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 4 weeks. Our intuitions will be very strong during this time and we have access to sudden insights and ideas. This gives us the opportunity to take a look to see how free we actually feel.
What if you expressed your individuality to the fullest? What does the "larger vision" look like? Where is the obstacle? How is your inner freedom?
Is your Sun-sign or Ascendant in Aquarius? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-26 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you are more affected by this station.
Saturday (July 16th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday morning for details).
Saturday morning (9:32am EDT): a challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact. We started feeling this "stretch and grow" aspect on Wednesday; it will be strong until next week Tuesday. Disrupted routines and plans, especially around home and family, are quite likely; this calls for flexibility and creative solutions.
During this transit, we feel a great need to make progress, as we feel quite restless -- maybe even anxious -- but if we're unclear on what actions are in our best interest, we might act in ways that don't serve us in the long run. As best as you can, go with the flow and stay open to experiencing something new and wonderfully unexpected; if you can, put off making major decisions for the time being... "haste makes waste" during this aspect ;-)
You can think of this as "reorganizing" time -- like rearranging your furniture -- try not to resist the reorganization. Enjoy the ride… and remember: it only feels uncomfortable because it’s new and different. Could you allow yourself to be comfortable with being uncomfortable?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Saturday late afternoon (5:59pm EDT): a Mercury/Venus alignment in 4 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started feeling this on Thursday; it will remain strong until next Wednesday. This is an excellent time to share about romance, children -- or anything creative -- and also about teaching endeavors connected to those areas.
This alignment supports communicating from the heart -- and in fact, it becomes essential to connect to people for whom we feel an affinity. We wish to connect in a spirit of harmony, peace manner and equality. We tend to have a strong sense of fairness at this time and want to be around people who meet us half-way.
We are very agreeable and enjoy socializing. We also thoroughly enjoy the written and spoken word -- literature, wordplay, puns, moving conversations -- especially when fun or entertaining.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-13 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly; the same is true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)
Saturday night (11:45pm EDT): a harmonious Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect on Wednesday night; it will remain strong until next Wednesday.
This aspect tells us that if we bring conscious awareness to our actions and create enthusiasm and passion for a project, we can potentially create something brand-new -- something that has never been seen or done before.
It also stimulates a flow of physical energy that we can easily channel into a new exercise regime. Our "battery" is fully charged right now, and we can draw upon it as needed. We respond to problems or challenges with admirable spirit, enthusiasm and confidence; we truly believe in expanding ourselves and seem to be in love with life. Where could you put this energy to use?
Whether we're expressing competitiveness or courage or experiencing them in others, it's easy to smile and accept these traits as positive, rather than being rubbed the wrong way.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces? Or perhaps your Ascendant or Sun-sign is in Leo or Aries? Either way, you may well feel especially blessed by this aspect.
Sunday (July 17th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 3:33pm EDT(see Friday morning for details).
Very early on Sunday (1:41am EDT), a harmonious Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact; we've been feeling this aspect since Wednesday night and it will be strong until next Wednesday. This creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities.
We can bring greater awareness to our feelings of shame and any self-deprecating thoughts or behaviors. Paradoxically, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?
Something else that supports healing our insecurity is a sense of pursuing a worthy goal -- this could be something as simple as a desire to learn and grow -- and our goal-orientation helps us overcome any problems that arise while we're on our "mission".
Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (as the Sun rules Leo)
Sunday morning at 4:57am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 10.5 hours (until 3:33pm EDT). Use this intuitive time to connect to like-minded people and learn something new about your unique self. See if you can broaden your approach toward personal goals or projects.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to make plans ahead of time ;-)
Also on Sunday morning, a harmonious Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:42am EDT. Due to Mars's and Chiron's retrograde and station phases, we've been feeling this aspect since June 2nd; it will be strong until July 27th.
This gives us a chance to learn to accept our desire and anger as valid -- so that when we express them, we do so naturally and confidently, without harming ourselves or others -- simply allowing ourselves to feel anger and talk about it, just as we would about joy.
What if you brought understanding and compassion to anger or assertiveness? What if your desires were valid?
We may also develop a strong sense of mission that can carry us through obstacles. We'd like to team up with others to fight injustice, purge something "unclean" from the world, or simply bring healing where we believe it's needed.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? Or perhaps your Ascendant or Sun-sign is in Aries? If so, you are especially blessed by this aspect.
Sunday at 3:33pm EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Tuesday late evening.
We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-) This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the upcoming Full Moon (exact on Tuesday, July 19th at 6:57pm EDT).
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures. It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".
As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?
A head's up for next Monday (July 18th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Sunday afternoon for details).More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
