Last week, my life required lots of adjustments and flexibility -- of course, with Mercury and Pluto stationing, plus all those T-squares in mutable signs... what else should I expect ;-)

This week's headline items: Pluto comes to a halt, late on Monday late morning, and starts to move forward again after a 5-month retrograde. Early on Tuesday morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins and Mars changes signs (from Sagittarius to Capricorn). The New Moon in Libra becomes exact on Friday evening; this also signifies the end of Eclipse season.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for almost 13 hours), Thursday morning (for almost 22 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 14 hours).
Monday (September 26th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.
We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-) So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can.
Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?
Monday early morning,a Sun/Jupiter alignment in 3.5 degrees of Librabecomes exact at 3am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. Ego gratification is the theme of this transit. This is the start of a "new you" with more confidence and faith. We have a chance to create a world of adventure and personal growth. We feel optimistic -- and that helps us attract positive circumstances.
If you've been thinking about launching a new long-term project, this would be an excellent time to do so; this is especially true for projects connected to the Libra energy -- anything involving fairness, partnerships, legal matters or mediation, diplomacy, balanced life-styles, culture and education. You may well feel more vital, confident, and optimistic when it comes to those projects. That said, eclipse season ends on Friday, so wait until after then for the actual launch ;-)
This is a good time to resolve conflicts, especially within our one-on-one relationships. Events may give our ego a boost, and we could be feeling quite perky and "alive". Take advantage of this by promoting yourself or putting yourself "out there".
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeo or Sagittarius(the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius).
Monday at 11:01am EDT, Pluto comes to a halt in almost 15 degrees of Capricorn;going direct, after completing its 5-month retrograde phase (April 18th - Sept. 26th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct. 6th.
When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct.6th).
During the retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within -- and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.
For the last 5 months, we've needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now we can bring this inner authenticity to the outer world: We are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that were holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.
Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, inner strength and Soul's purpose, we are now ready to bring to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us in our journey towards authenticity. We can now build long-term goals that are in alignment with our Soul's purpose. Ask yourself: What do I "just know", deep down?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Tuesday (Sept. 27th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 5:43pm EDT.
Tuesday at 4:07am EDT, Mars changes signs from optimistic, adventurousSagittarius to realistic, prestige-and-accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Nov. 9th. For those 6 weeks, we tend to feel more determined, goal-oriented and focused. We are not afraid to work hard on attainable goals, so that we can see tangible results.
Our drive to succeed is quite strong, especially when we feel a need for physical and material security — that is, in the realm of all that can be seen and held. Our self-control tends to be quite strong around the expression of "drives" -- things like anger, energy, ambition and sexuality -- in fact, with Mars in Capricorn we are at our least impulsive, with a powerful need to stay in control.
Because we have such a strong sense of responsibility, we need to be careful not to start using work to hide from others. Anger can easily get channelled into our work as well. As best as you can, be kind to yourself, remember we all do the best we can; there is no need for extra pressure.
If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused and determent. You may want to get down to business. If you are a Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.
Tuesday at 4:52am EDT, we enter a 13-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 5:43pm EDT. Being social will come easy during this intuitive time, so have fun connecting with others, and do things that bring you joy. This is a great time to express ourselves fully, as we feel brave and confident.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan the day ahead of time ;-)
Also, on Tuesday morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins. This lasts until Friday evening, when the New Moon in Libra becomes exact (…more on that later this week). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.
For some of us, this might be a stretch, especially since we are still in Eclipse season. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us.
What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?
Tuesday at 5:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Saturday early afternoon, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Wednesday (Sept. 28th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late afternoon for details).
Wednesday late morning: seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.
Wednesday afternoon: we are being asked to stretch and grow -- to undertake a process of maturation that demands we make adjustments and stay flexible. Rigidity or "pushing" doesn't always get us what we want: Sometimes, it’s better to go one step at a time -- that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.
Wednesday evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.
Thursday (Sept. 29th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late afternoon for details).
Thursday at 6:05am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 22 hours, until 3:52am EDT (Friday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to discuss practical issues or ways to gain clarity around your daily (or work) routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Thursday ahead of time ;-)
On Thursday late morning we may need to forgive ourselves and others for being human. What if making mistakes (or being less than perfect) was the best thing that ever happened to any of us?
Thursday afternoon: we feel uneasy about something, sort of "awkward" -- and we need to make a choice -- this requires we develop our inner awareness, so we can see what needs adjusting. It's also time to reevaluate the way we imprison ourselves in mindless routines and then rebel against them. While "different" is not always "improved", change is essential to our evolutionary process.
Friday (Sept. 30th) at 3:52am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Sunday afternoon. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Friday at 8:11pm EDT: the Moon aligns with the Sun in 8 degrees of Libra, beginning a new Moon cycle, and officially ending Eclipse season.
The New Moon is an introverted time -- we go within, to see what we wish to align ourselves with for the next Moon cycle. With the New Moon in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, we seek win-win situations, fair exchanges with others, and harmony in relationships. This is a great time to begin a new project that calls for diplomacy, negotiation, or relationship skills.
Here are some useful questions to ask yourself for this new Moon cycle: Where is the balance point? What if harmony and peace were mine to create?
The Libra energy encourages us to see both sides of a situation and find a middle path (or better yet: a win-win). In order to reconcile opposite energies, we need to engage heart and mind, and seek the highest and best outcome for everyone involved -- in other words, we need to see everyone as equally deserving -- including ourselves.
As best as we can, we need to seek mutually beneficial relationships without compromising our essentials selves, values and goals. What does interconnectedness mean to you? How is it different from co-dependency? Here's a thought: what if, the more we can approve of ourselves, the easier it would get to create relationships that honor both parties equally?
The New Moon aligns with Jupiter in Libra, asking us to shift our perception about how we relate to others, ourselves, and the world. What do we believe about relationships? Who are we "being" in our relationships?
How can we create a balance between our inner masculine & feminine (active and receptive)? What do we love or hate about others? How do we relate to those traits as they are present in ourselves? Feel free to watch also my video about Jupiter in Libra
Venus (ruler of Libra) is in a Scorpio. Venus connects us to our heart chakra; in this particular placement, it invites us to go deeper and connect more authentically to our emotional body, especially when it comes to connecting with others.
Superficiality is not an option with this placement. We are interested in digging deeper into understanding our motivations for relationships. Why are we attracted to certain relationships? How acceptable is it for us to share our deepest fears with others? What are we afraid to share? How close is too close -- or not close enough? What are other people's motivations? Why are they in it? What are my motivations? Why am I in it?
Neptune in Pisces trines Venus in Scorpio at the time of the New Moon. This gives us more compassion and empathy -- perhaps even a sense of oneness -- that can soften our intensity with others and make us more trusting. It also inspires creativity and the feeling of being guided by intuition.
Are you looking for your Soulmate? This might be a good time to find them, as long as you remember that a true Soulmate is someone who supports your Soul's Journey (and Soul's Purpose), someone who wants you to succeed or learn something, someone who supports and challenges you to be more than we are currently allowing ourselves to be. (this is true of both the inner and outer "journey").
It's been with us pretty much all year, but the Saturn/Neptune square is coming to an end with this Lunar cycle. We've all had to stretch and grow quite a bit when it comes to our capacity to trust in divine timing -- and when it comes to taking responsibility for the role our beliefs play in creating our reality.
Most of us have learned that rushing results in inappropriate boundaries, rigidity, anxiety and even overwhelm. We are learning to be in this physical experience truthfully and responsibly while being guided by intuition and remaining connected to our higher Selves/Spirit. For more on this subject, check out my video, "Saturn in Sagittarius until 2017"
The New Moon also squares Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. We may have to make some changes or adjustments within long-term goals; the same is true of our relationships. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time; stay open while remaining connected to what empowers you.
If you feel pressured into doing something, or feel a power struggle build, as best as you can, get centered and grounded -- then use your creativity to find win/win situations. Ask yourself: What if this were a major growth opportunity in disguise? What might be possible if I could accept those parts of myself that I have rejected because I feared disapproval? What would "Courageous Love" do?
Pluto is moving direct again, providing an opportunity to take a giant step forward in our lives.
With Pluto, the temptation is to obsess over our long-term goals, out of a fear that there won't be enough recognition, progress, results, achievements, ability to provide, etc... As best as you can, remember you're always accomplishing things and making progress -- even if it's not visible yet. Pushing or trying to control the outcome is not the key to success. Rest and recreation, on the other hand, are critical components for moving ahead.
In fact, self-care is a very important component in this: Without it, we can't accomplish much -- we're always behind the eight-ball. What does self-care look like for you? What nurtures you? What helps you bring your "A-game"?
If this New Moon had a core message, it would be: "As within, so without". Look inside yourself and own all your projections -- what have you disowned or rejected about yourself? How do these traits show up in your relationships with others -- whether in good or bad ways? What if you brought 5% more consciousness to the abandoned and rejected places inside of you? What if you sent them 5% more love? If you'd like to learn more about all this, check out my New Moon video.
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 6-10 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 8:11pm Friday evening until 1:43am EDT Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (Oct.2nd); and then again on Sunday between 3:45pm until 8:11pm EDT.
Saturday (Oct. 1st): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday early morning for details).
Saturday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:13pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until this next week Tuesday. This supports us with the flow of feelings, especially in connection to our relationships and whatever we most value. Bringing compassion to our deepest feelings (including fears) and how we relate to others is going to feel easier at this time.
Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).
Saturday late evening, a Mercury/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 11:22pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until this next week Tuesday. We have a chance to balance our ability to think and speak clearly with our emotional wounding and insecurities.
This aspect may play out in a relationship, with each of you living out one side of the equation. We may experience guilt or shame around something we said or didn't say.
If you feel triggered by someone else, or vice versa: as best as you can, bring compassion and kindness towards both of you. Ask yourself: Is this connected to my past and/or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner child with love and kindness?
Due to Mercury's recently ended retrograde phase, this is the third time within the last 7 weeks that this aspect has become exact; bringing the Chiron opposition into the picture raises this question: Did anything come up for you around your "wounded inner child" around 7 weeks ago, and then again 3 weeks ago? If so, now would be a good time to address it again, this time more consciously and directly...
Do you have your Ascendent (or personal planets) in 19-25 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).
Also: if you haven't set your New Moon Intentions yet, any time today (Saturday) is a great time to do so... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article: http://goo.gl/klCcph -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video
Sunday (Oct. 2nd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 3:43pm EDT (see Friday early morning for details).
Sunday at 1:43am EDT, we enter a 14-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 3:43pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for equal and harmonious connection, with your drive toward personal visions and ideas.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan most of Sunday ahead of time ;-)
Sunday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:11am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Monday. This aspect feels "internal" -- inner unease and awkwardness -- and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness, if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
Our energy tends to be unrealistically directed -- and our sense of self may actually change as we learn that we have wrongly assessed important situations. Our self-trust takes a hit.
Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle -- if we start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at the overall direction we are taking. Do your best to rest and have quiet time alongside your interactions with others.
It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in creating/realizing our dreams? Perhaps we are not sure whether we want to keep dreaming our dream privately, or share it with others... As best as you can, slow down: where there is spaciousness, there is flow; where there is flow, there is effortless creation.
Do you have your Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-11 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces)
Sunday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:19pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Monday. This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.
It can be hard to make decisions under this influence, as we tend to doubt our perceptions, or our problem-solving ability. It may also be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate, leading to misunderstandings: we tend to feel uncomfortable -- a sort of "inner itchiness".
As best as you can, give yourself time to respond, allow your breath to ground you -- and forgive yourself if you make mistakes -- after all, you are human ;-)
Due to Mercury's recently ended retrograde phase, this is the third time within the last 7 weeks that this aspect has become exact, this gives us a chance to address our approach toward any misunderstandings. Is there anything that came up around 7 weeks ago, then emerged as an issue again 3 weeks ago, that needs now to be readdressed? If so, this is your chance to create more clarity.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 22-24 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Sunday at 3:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.
A head's up for next Monday (Oct. 3rd): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Sunday afternoon for details).More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
