Walk Your Unique Path -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Feb. 6th - Sun., Feb. 12th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

I got back from India last week -- I feel so different from when I left -- what a transformative experience... Still adjusting back into my timezone; got some beautiful support, doing some vortex healing and rebalancing on Thursday night. With Venus and Mars moving into Aries this past Friday, I really wanted to do something for my body and be more active, so I started doing the 5 Tibetan Rite Exercises. They're like a very simple, quick version of Yoga -- if you're interested, there's a short YouTube video introduction: click here

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Last chance to sign up for my MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM, this SaturdayFeb. 11th, 2017 at 11am PST/2pm EST/7pm GMT (London-time). Please note that we have a Lunar Eclipse in Leo this week, and a Solar Eclipse in Pisces coming up in late February! If you want to know how these Eclipses are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here

This week's headline items: Jupiter comes to a halt (to turn retrograde), Mercury changes signs from Capricorn to Aquarius on Tuesday morning, and the Lunar Eclipse in Leo becomes exact on Friday evening.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late afternoon (for a little over 8 hours), Wednesday late afternoon (for almost 12 hours), and Friday night/Saturday very early morning (for 8 hours).

Monday very early morning (February 6th) at 1:52am EST, Jupiter comes to a halt at 23 degrees of Libra, starting its yearly 4-month retrograde phase. The retrograde phases are inner processes -- they help us connect to a particular energy internally, and thus express it externally (once Jupiter goes direct again). Jupiter retrograde brings a chance to tap inner wisdom, optimism and sense of possibility, and an inner understanding of how the world works. This retrograde phase lasts until June 9th.

During this time, we get to choose what we truly believe -- which beliefs serve us and which don't -- and we can more easily let go of limiting beliefs and experience new truths. While retrograde in Libra, Jupiter pointedly invites us to take a look at our one-on -one relationships, our attitudes around justice, and balance within our own lives and with our environment.

What do I believe about my relationship skills? About justice? Balance? Collaborations? Where am I making assumptions that do not serve me? What might be holding me back?

The connection to inner wisdom is heightened. Ask yourself: What do I “just know”? If the answer is “I don’t know”, ask yourself “What if I did know? What mighty it be in that case?”

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of LibraIf so, you may be more affected by this retrograde phase. This is also true for those of us who have our or Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter rules Sagittarius, so Sagittarius will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter's movements and aspects).

Also, the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will be there until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. We like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way...The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)

Monday at 5:53pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8 hours, until 2:03am EST (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to balance connecting/sharing with others, versus walking to the beat of your own drum. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan.... ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday (Feb. 7th) at 2:03am EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancerwhere it will journey until Thursday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Tuesday at 4:35am EST, Mercury is finally ready to leave practical, cautious, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn and move into freedom-loving, forward-thinking, objective Aquarius. It will journey there until February 25th. For the next three weeks, we tend to contradict others more quickly, and offer a different perspective. We enjoy intellectual debates. We are quicker and more alert; our powers of observation are particularly strong.

We have something interesting to say, and our perspective on issues can be delightfully unusual and surprisingly insightful. This makes for some great conversations. We are more attracted to scientific and/or metaphysical pursuits right now. Anything that promises progress and advancement for mankind has special appeal.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for focusing on your future and any humanitarian causes. Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Aquarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.

Wednesday (Feb. 8th): the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Wednesday at 5pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 12 hours, until 4:41am EST (Thursday morning). Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for deepening your intellectual understanding of relationships and collaborations, and for taking care of emotional or family issues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening and Thursday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Thursday (Feb. 9th) at 4:41am EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leowhere it will journey until Saturday morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Lunar Eclipse -- a very powerful Full Moon (exact on Friday evening).

We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-) So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Thursday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:16pm EST. We started to feel this from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Saturday. We have the opportunity to become aware of an original or unique approach to life. Pleasant changes may be in store -- certainly unexpected ones — so maintain your flexibility ;-)

Where is your uniqueness? What if you expressed it proudly and authentically? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Bear in mind that an “opportunity" is not something that is automatically given to us: We have to "realize" it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-23 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Also, tomorrow (Friday all day) and Saturday before 1pm EST, is your last chance to sign up for Saturday's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we have a Lunar Eclipse in Leo on Friday, and a Solar Eclipse in Pisces coming up in late February! If you want to know how these Eclipses are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here

If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 1pm EST on Saturday you will receive the mp4-video recording of the webinar.

Friday (Feb. 10th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Thursday evening for details).

Friday afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Venus aspect becomes exact at 4:19pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect gives us the opportunity for more direct and caring connections to others.

Enhanced communication abilities help us clear up any misunderstandings or discomfort from the past, particularly in love relationships. This is also an opportune time to make new social contacts, especially with like-minded people. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to actively take advantage of them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or any personal planets) in the following: 1-8 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini, Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Virgo, Gemini, Libra or Taurus (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Friday evening, at 7:33pm EST: the Moon opposes the Sun in 22 degrees of LeoThis extra-powerful Full Moon is the first of two Eclipses within the next four weeks. As such, its energy is more intense than your typical Full Moon; given that it's happening in the Leo/Aquarius polarity, it's all about becoming aware of dogmatic, rigid thinking and opening our heart chakras. As we do this, we can open more to joy, and be more playful.

This Eclipse provides the first glimpse into the shift of the Moon Nodes, from Virgo/Pisces to Leo/Aquarius, due to take effect on May 9th. It also launches a 23-month series of Eclipses connected to the Leo/Aquarius polarity -- the last time we experienced a set of Eclipses with this particular combo was 18.5 years ago... Think back to 1998/1999: What major life changes did you go through?

Lunar Eclipses generally bring attention to our "emotional body" and connect us more fully to our Soul’s journey (as shown by the Moon Nodes). We become aware of what has been suppressed or ignored. Life-changing revelations are more likely over the next two weeks — and with them, shifts in our consciousness...the impact of any Eclipse's energy also last longer than a regular Lunation; usually for 6 months, until the next set of Eclipses becomes exact.

I will talk about these upcoming Eclipses in more detail in my next Forecasting Forum — if you want to know how the Eclipses are going to impact you personally, feel free to join us -- we will apply what's coming up, to our own birth charts. The forum is tomorrow, Saturday, Feb. 11th at 2pm EST/7pm GMT (London-time); for more info or to register, click here

This particular Eclipse focuses on authentic self-expression and creativity. We want to ask ourselves: What might open up if we were more heart-centered in our self-expression? More courageous? Might we be too much in our heads? What would things look like, if we allowed our light to shine just a little brighter?

We are also invited to allow head and our heart to merge, bringing about a brighter future for humankind -- what would it look like if we created such a balance? What if we each chose, right here and now, to contribute to humanity from a courageous, heart-centered and authentic place? What if you simply made that choice right now?

This powerful Full Moon also reminds us that everyone has the power to make a difference in the world, whether on a large scale or small — and when we join together, that power gets exponentially bigger: 3+3 is actually 3x3, 4+4 becomes 4x4, etc.

This makes it important to be especially aware and responsible when we are with others. What are we bringing forth? What are our intentions?

If we want to see a greater shift in the world at large (an Aquarian concern), we must each do our own part and express our unique gifts (Leo’s imperative). That said, if we don't come from the heart -- or get stuck in rigid, dogmatic thinking -- we will not be able to fulfill on that vision.

Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, is still making a square to Pluto in Capricorn and an opposition to Jupiter in Libra. We are invited to be more honest with ourselves and others (especially about our fears and desires), and to be more open to new ways of thinking, doing, and achieving.

In fact, you could say we are being invited to bring an innovative approach to who we are -- and to our interactions with others… In other words: To step it up -- and walk our unique path. Inspire others. Life is too short to waste on things we are less than fully passionate about, that don't fully express our uniqueness.

We are definitely being pulled in many different directions with this T-Square -- in fact, radical personal and collective changes are quite possible right now — so have the courage to think differently and explore new directions... go as far as you dare and tap into the courage of an open heart.

Flexibility, thinking outside the box, and self-care are critical! Self-care is particularly important in times of stress and/or change — basic things, like making sure that we eat healthily and regularly, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest -- and let in affection from friends, family, or pets. Connecting to what feels supportive in order to stay grounded and regenerate ourselves can be very helpful as well.

It’s this simple: if we don’t maintain our physical bodies, we will not be able to maintain the pace, or meet the demands placed on us right now.

If you’d like to gain a deeper understanding of this T-Square, I recommend you click here and check out a collection of New Moon/Full Moon videos I’ve been posting since November that talk in more depth about this particular aspect.

In the case of this particular Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse, we have not only a Sun/Moon opposition, but also Grand Fire Trine involving the Moon in Leo, Saturn in Sagittarius, and Uranus in Aries — and (as they say on TV): that’s not all!

We also have lots of Sextiles in the Fire/Air elementsMoon in Leo with Jupiter in Libra, with Saturn in Sagittarius, with the Sun in Aquarius, with Uranus in Aries... and last but not least... Mercury in Aquarius makes a sextile with Venus in Aries

Wow! With this many planets in the Fire and Air elements, we can definitely expect to feel more extroverted, and ready to move things forward in the outside world. These aspects all bring opportunities for connecting with others from a mature, yet heart-centered place, while replacing and modifying "old" thinking/belief structures. We are supported in the slow elimination of whatever no longer serves the collective and our future on this planet.

Ask yourself: What could I express responsibly and joyfully, that might bring about change in my own life — and perhaps even inspire others to follow my example? What actions could I take that would serve the collective? Or a particular group of people? Who could use my support at this time? And how can I give it?

We don't always realize how much power we have in that regard -- that we can really touch people and move the collective. One small way we can do that is to send out meditative or beautiful energies, to people in our lives that we want to support, and even beyond that to the "collective". These small actions can have a ripple effect...

We can also give by taking action in communities we want to support -- by giving of our time, money, love. We can facilitate (or simply allow) people to be heard. Listening, sharing from the heart... there are so many ways we can affect the collective. Disrupt the pattern, brainstorm on your own or with other people, ask "how can I give my support...?"

We are encouraged during this Full Moon to acknowledge that we are all in this together, and that each one of us has the ability to effect change by tapping into our courage, and by living our vision in every moment -- in Mahatma Gandhi’s famous words, to “be the change you want to see in the world”.

For this Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse you could ask yourself: Where could I be the voice, visionary, and hero/heroine of my story? What is my role at this pivotal time? What actions might inspire others to follow my lead? Remember: No effort is too small, no step too modest... And most important of all, perhaps: it's never too late to be the one who makes a difference -- especially when it comes from the heart and feels authentic!

A final note about Eclipses: they're consciousness upgrades. For 7 - 10 days before and after one, we are usually in uncharted territory -- anything is possible and it's wise to expect the unexpected. Anything brand-new started during this time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after Eclipse season is over.

For that reason, try to defer any major brand-new projects until after March 12th, when this particular Eclipse season ends. That said, if something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic, allow it to “be”... Just be wary of the urge to push something forward merely to relieve anxiety or impatience. If you’d like to learn more about this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video on the subject.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or personal planets in 20-25 degrees of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Saturday (Feb. 11th) starts with an 8-hour Moon void of course (VoC)from 12:52am until 8:52am EST. If you are awake during this intuitive time, connect with others from a mature, yet heart-centered place. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday night and Saturday morning ahead of time ;-)

Saturday at 8:52am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Monday afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Saturday late morning, a harmonious Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 10:25am EST. We started to feel this from Wednesday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday.  It’s an opportunity to see things from a different perspective. What will lead us to this new vantage point? Optimism, an open mind, an open heart: Follow your enthusiasm as if it were a wilderness guide — and let yourself be creative and free, especially with or around other people.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Aquarius, Libra or Gemini? If so, you will be more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Also, Saturday until 1pm EST, is your very last chance to sign up for today's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we just had a Lunar Eclipse in Leo (on Friday), and a Solar Eclipse in Pisces is coming up in late February!

Sunday (Feb. 12th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).

Sunday early morning, we seek a balance between head and heart, facts and fantasy, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Sunday late afternoon/early evening: we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo starts to make a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

A head's up for next Monday (Feb. 13th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 3:43pm EST (see Saturday very early morning for details). At 7:36am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8 hours, until 3:43pm EST. At that point, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

One Last Announcement:

"OK... just finished... wowowow... the whole feel is BIGGER AND BETTER...
