Last week was a blur...so many energies moving about, in so many directions... Rest and recuperation were essential. The Lunar Eclipse has certainly brought some excitement with it. I can feel the playfulness of it all and the desire to have some fun :-)
Since we will be in Eclipse season until March 12th, I encourage you to watch my most recent Forecasting Forum -- we covered the Eclipses, including the upcoming Solar Eclipse in Pisces. If you want to see how these Eclipses are impacting you personally, click here to purchase your mp4-video recording now... or wait a little longer... I will be offering it with a 20% discount (in form of a rebate) for a couple of days next week ;-)
You can also get a free copy of the entire recording if you sign up for the next two Forecasting Forums (March and April) in advance. So basically you would get three Forums for only $48 instead of the regular $72.00 -- that's only $16 for each Forum -- what a deal! ;-)
This week's headline items: Jupiter's Station ends on Tuesday; the Sun change signs from Aquarius to Pisces on Saturday; the last Quarter Moon in 0 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact on Saturday afternoon.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for a little over 8 hours), Wednesday evening (for almost 5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for almost 23.5 hours).
Though not exactly a "headline" any more, I would like to mention again that we are still in the middle of Eclipse season.
An Eclipse is a consciousness upgrade. For 7 - 10 days before and after an Eclipse, we are usually in uncharted territory: anything is possible and it's wise to expect the unexpected. The upcoming Solar Eclipse in Pisces will be exact Sunday of next week, Feb. 26th (feel free to watch my video on the subject — I'll post it by Wednesday evening of this week).
Anything brand-new (and I really mean brand, brand-new) started during this time will likely not pan out the way we thought it would, often because important information comes to light only after Eclipse season is over. If possible therefore, try to defer any major brand-new projects until after March 12th, when this Eclipse season is over. If something is beginning or ending in a way that seems organic… allow it to be.
Another Eclipse-related phenomenon: not only do Eclipses bring up uncertainty in us, they might also leave us nervous, anxious, unsettled and disoriented. As best as you can, observe your feelings and stay grounded in the "here and now". If you feel rushed into something, take a deep breath and connect to your heart, intuition and inner wisdom: They will carry you through.
Just like upgrading a computer, you will get all the information you need, as soon as the upgrade is complete -- so as best you can, be patient. This does not mean that we need to drop everything; it just means it's wise to check in with our higher guidance -- do this whichever way feels right to you ;-) Remember: it's temporary.
I also discussed the upcoming Eclipse in detail in my most recent Forecasting Forum, so if you want to get more of a sense of how this Eclipse season might be impacting you personally, I recommend you purchase the mp4-recording of the Forum -- it will help you apply what's coming up to your own birth chart. Monday (February 13th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 3:43pm EST; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Monday at 7:36am EST,we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 8 hours, until 3:43pm EST.Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.
Make space both for looking at your beliefs, to see which ones are sound, and for organizing your daily routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan most of Monday ahead of time ;-)
Monday at 3:43pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.
We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.
We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.
Tuesday (Feb. 14th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, an opportune Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:58am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect provides an opportunity to become aware of what needs to happen if we are to accomplish something concrete.
We have common sense at our disposal; we are willing to look reality in the eye, and take responsibility for our lives and who is in it. This is also an opportunity to focus on being grounded and truthful in our connections with others. Again, remember: opportunities are openings, they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 23-28 degreesof Aquarius, Sagittarius, Libra, or Aries? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Also on Tuesday, although now retrograde, Jupiter resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. What has come up in the last two or three weeks around relationships? Justice (and injustice)? Balance (and imbalance)? What beliefs about partnerships no longer serve you? The retrograde ends on June 9th; until then, it's a great idea to do some internal work in these areas.
Wednesday (Feb. 15th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday afternoon for details).
Wednesday (from late morning on) is a great day for accomplishment and collaborating with others. At 8:54pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 5 hours, until 1:41am EST (Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to continue collaborating with others and for bringing awareness to the larger issues at hand. How can we make a difference... and with who?
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening/night ahead of time ;-)
Thursday (Feb. 16th) at 1:41am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Saturday afternoon. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)
Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.
The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.
Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)
Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.
Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.
Thursday early afternoon, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 1:15pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday morning on; it will be strong until Friday night. This aspect provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align; words and deeds connect with ease. As with any opportunity, we have to "take" this one: it will not happen by itself.
What actions are calling to you today? How might those actions be connected to other like-minded people... or a vision you have for humanity's future?
Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Aquarius, Aries, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)
Friday (Feb. 17th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio all day (see Thursday very early morning for details).
Friday at 2:38pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for almost 23.5 hours, until 1:52pm EST (Saturday afternoon). Use this intuitive time to slow down and focus on your inner processes. Deepen your connection to what you feel deeply passionate about.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to make plans ahead of time ;-)
Saturday (Feb. 18th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio until 1:52pm EST (see Thursday very early morning for details).
Saturday morning, 6:31am EST: the Sun changes signs from freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius to creative, compassionate Pisces, where it will journey until March 20th. This brings our awareness to our sense of oneness with everyone and everything around us. We feel like sponges, able to pick up all energy around us; this also makes us more sensitive and emotional. We are more drawn towards expressing ourselves in a creative or spiritual way.
Music or energy healing gives us vitality and can heighten our own personal vibrations. We need to slow down a little and listen to our intuition more fully -- if we ignore our feelings and the subtle messages we are getting, we will most likely feel more anxious and somewhat frustrated. This could also be connected to the slow pace that our body or our surroundings are demanding of us.
The keyword here is "allowing": as best as you can, be aware of what you are resisting, moment to moment, and create some space -- allow it to be as it is. Notice when you are sensing someone else's feelings rather than your own.
All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Pisces Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Pisces, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will depend on allowing things to flow and being gentle with yourself.
Saturday afternoon at 1:52pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journeyuntil Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. We're strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time -- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.
We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.
As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you aren't overdoing or overstating things.
Also Saturday afternoon, at 2:33pm EST, the last Quarter Moon in 0 degrees of Sagittarius will be exact. The Moon in adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in sensitive, dreamy, compassionate Pisces. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed.
This Moon phase brings us closer to Feb. 26th's New Moon -- which is also a Solar Eclipse. We are thus best served by reviewing projects begun since the last Solar Eclipse in early September, 2016; we now have about a week to wrap those projects up.
What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since Sept. 1st, 2016? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-2 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, or 28-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus or Leo? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Sunday (Feb. 19th): The Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday afternoon for details).
Sunday starts out with lots of energy at our disposal, plus a desire to connect with others and have some adventures. Physical exercise or activities with others are great ways to channel this energy.
As we move into the second half of Sunday we may need to make some adjustments. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to connect with others intuitively or spiritually. You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little.
A head's up for next Monday (Feb. 20th): The Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday afternoon for details). At 6:37pm EST,we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for 7.5 hours, until 2:08am EST (Tuesday very early morning). In the late evening, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 11:01pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday evening on; it will stay strong until next week Wednesday morning.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
