Mutual Respect and Loyalty -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., May 29th - Sun., June 4th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was an exercise in releasing, allowing, slowing down, and honoring my emotional, physical and mental body. I definitely felt triggered several times last week... oh my humanity! How humbling it is when it comes through so loudly...

It reminded me that intense stress really does bring up a lot of my old traumas and history... and I also noticed that I did not judge or punish myself for experiencing those "old patterns". Now, that is definitely progress!!! :-)

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Special Offer -- this month only: sign up for the next two Forecasting Forums (June & July) and receive a FREE class on the Moon Nodes (your Soul's Journey) -- from my "Beyond the Basics" Soul-Based Astrology Curriculum! To register now, click here (and add two Forums to your cart or add them separately).

This week's headline items: on Monday, take actions on your New Moon Intentions, on Thursday, the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact. That same day, Jupiter starts to slow down, preparing to go direct again, whereas when Neptune starts to slow down as well (on Sunday), it is preparing to go retrograde. Last but not least: Mars changes signs, from Gemini to Cancer, on Sunday (early in the afternoon).

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday very early morning (for a little over 5 hours), Wednesday morning (for 5 hours), and Friday afternoon (for a little over 2 hours).

Monday (May 29th) is a big day:the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 8:12am EDT.With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday very early morning, a Mars/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 2:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until this Thursday. We may face obstacles, mental blockages, or an opposition to our sense of freedom, our drive, and our ambitions. We also might become more cautious now.

We are learning to live in moderation now -- but this may be frustrating, as we face tests or trials that remind us that pushing too hard or too fast doesn't always get us the results we want. It's time to slow down a little, catch our breath, even experience some setbacks, all so we come back stronger, more controlled, directed, and mature. Taking responsibility is key!

Mars is the inner teenager and Saturn is the inner adult. Mars wants to move fast and get results, Saturn wants us to slow down and focus on the essential -- and sustainable over a long time. What would it take to find your inner balance with those two archetypes?

If you are experiencing these energies within a relationship, we can ask ourselves which of them we are living out: "Am I being impatient? Or am I scared that I have missed something essential -- that something is not going to work out long-term?" Whichever it is, allow yourself to open your heart to the other side, as best as you can ;-)

Mars last aligned with Saturn in Sagittarius back on August 24th, 2016. Think back to that time: What got started? What seeds were planted back then? How far have you come since then?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (since Mars is the ruler of Aries, while Saturn rules Capricorn)

Monday at 2:59am EDT, we enter a  Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 5 hours, until 8:12am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for going after personal projects that you feel passionate about and for taking care of emotional or family issues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Monday at 8:12am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-)

So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday all day (especially after 8:12am EDT), if you set Intentions last week Thursday evening, Friday or Saturday morning -- after the New Moon became exact -- today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

Tuesday (May 30th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday morning for details).

Tuesday late evening, an opportune Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 10:39pm EDT. We started to feel this from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Friday. We have the opportunity to create some forward movement in our lives, especially when it comes to our thinking, and processing or sharing information. We may want to work on projects with like-minded people right now. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store -- certainly unexpected ones ;-)

What is one of your unique goals? How could you go after what you want, while still keeping other people's benefit in mind? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to "realize" it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Wednesday (May 31st): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 12:16pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).

Wednesday at 7:14am EDT, we enter a 5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) (it lasts until 12:16pm EDT); use this intuitive time to have fun connecting with others -- do (or learn) things that bring you joy. This could be a great time to express ourselves fully through the written word.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 10:39pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. Our words and our "speaking" are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.

We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations around long-term goals. We investigate our own thought structures in a very realistic, focused way, and look to see what needs to be communicated next.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio)

Wednesday  at 12:16pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Friday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday morning).

Thursday (June 1st): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).

Thursday morning, at 8:42am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 11 degrees of Virgobecomes exact. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking and busy Gemini

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on May 25th. "Seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 20-24 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 11:23am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This signals a time when we don't take connections with others lightly; we are more attracted to long-term commitment than to "casual".

We feel a strong sense of responsibility to loved ones and see ourselves generally as responsible and trustworthy. We have increased sensitivity to the needs of others. Mutual respect and loyalty become especially important to us at this time; this can strengthen and refresh old friendships too.

We bring more maturity, respect and integrity to our interactions -- and this is a good time to approach "elders" and authority figures for their input. This doesn't have to be "solemn" though: What if you could connect spontaneously & passionately to yourself and others through your "inner adult"?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius or Leo? If so, you will be blessed by this aspect more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Also on Thursday, Jupiter starts to slow down (station), preparing to come to a halt on June 9th (after having been retrograde for the past 4 months);its station-phase last until June 17th. We will feel its energy more forcefully during this time.

We start to be more fully aware of Jupiter's energy; this awareness helps us to get more connected to those energies within us. We get to see where we need to embrace them more fully, so that we can use them in a healthy way, without getting lost in the lower vibrations of their expression.

Until June 17th, we have to face what this planet is trying to communicate to us: Jupiter represents our desire to seek insight through knowledge. Some of this planet's keywords include: morality; gratitude; hope; honor; the law. Jupiter is the planet of possibility, optimism and growth (including mental and spiritual growth). Jupiter is also associated with a sense of humor, goodwill, and mercy.

The lower expressions of Jupiter include "Oh, the heck with it", "I deserve this and more", "the rules do not apply to me" -- generally speaking: too much of a good thing, blind optimism, excess, stretching the truth, overindulgence.

For the past four months, we've been more connected to an inner wisdom -- and ability to grow — that helps us have more balance in our lives. What did you discover about your ability to learn and grow, when it comes to balance, peace, justice and relationships since early February? Do you have a better understanding of your own inner wisdom and how to access it? How might those discoveries change what you think is possible?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 11-15 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn will be more affected by this station; as will those of us who have their Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Jupiter's movements and aspects).

Friday (June 2nd): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 8:04pm EDT (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).

Friday morning, a challenging Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 6:14am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from last Sunday on (May 28th); it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th).

This aspect challenges us to see our own attachments and aversions as a normal, perhaps even valid, part of being human. That way, should we choose to express desire or anger (or even contempt or disgust), such expressions will feel natural and organic, rather than something that provokes shame.

We may experience situations that call forth our initiative and independence -- but may not feel confident that we can rise to the challenge, let alone follow through. As best as you can, when the challenge comes: Get into action, feel the excitement that comes with stepping out of the familiar. Ask yourself: What would my hero do?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or 0-2 degrees of Cancer, Aries, Capricorn or Libra will feel most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars rules Aries).

Friday at 5:48pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 2 hours, until 8:04pm EDT. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

We likely will feel drawn to sharing ourselves, learning new things and connecting with others; on the other hand, we want to organize daily routines or pay more attention to our health. Do your best to find balance between these two ways and, as always with a Moon VoC, don't start anything brand-new. Instead, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow; you may also want to plan Friday evening ahead of time ;-)

Friday at 8:04pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Monday night/Tuesday  very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Saturday (June 3rd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday evening for details).

Saturday early morning, a Venus/Uranus alignment in 27 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 3:32am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Tuesday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th). This alignment gives us the opportunity to experiment with a new way of relating to others. Freedom plays a big part in our interactions with others.

It's a favorable time for social meetings and events. Do something different, something unusual, with one-on-one relationships -- break the routine -- and as you can imagine, you might experience some unexpected interactions during this time. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: Fresh air is blowing through your relationships.

We are also ready to experiment with regards to financial undertakings; good energetic matches include anything involving electronics, technology, the internet, metaphysics, the arts, and group activities in general. That said, this is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had an intuitive vision about something ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, or 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Saturday early afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:12pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (June 6th). It’s an opportunity to see things from a different perspective. What will lead us to this new vantage point?

Optimism, an open mind, an open heart: Follow your enthusiasm as if it were a wilderness guide — and let yourself be creative and free, especially with or around other people.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Gemini, Libra or Aquarius? If so, you will be more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Sunday (June 4th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday evening for details).

Sunday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 3:24am EDT. We will started to feel this aspect from Saturday on and it will be strong until Monday. This aspect operates internally: We feel uneasy about something, kind of awkward -- and we need to make a choice. This may sap our mental and physical energy, or lead us to reconsider some of our perspectives.

Ambitious goals often require more effort than we realized going in; this can impact our health if we don't pace ourselves. If we break projects down into small chunks -- actual action steps like "call the realtor" -- and tackle those simple achievable actions one at a time, we can move forward without overwhelm and with our health intact. One way to do this is to look at a project and ask "How?" a few times in a row, until you get to something you can actually do.

For example, let's say you want to go on vacation. If you ask "How?", you might answer "I'll fly to Paris". Ask "How?" again, and you get "I'll book a ticket". The next "How?" gets you to "I'll look at my favorite travel app on my phone". This is a simple, easily achieved action step - you're done. Breaking complex projects down like this reduces mental and physical stress.

In general: Use your time wisely and develop your inner "observer" so you can see what needs adjusting :-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Sunday early afternoon, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:13pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect from last Thursday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

As you can probably guess, we'll experience more "flow" in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more "practical" things.

We might feel confused; but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).

Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioning to feeling into the truth of who we are?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Gemini , Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).

Sunday at 12:16pm EDT, Mars changes signs from curious, versatile, information-craving Gemini to protective, emotional, safety-oriented Cancer. It will journey through Cancer until July 20th; for these next six and a half weeks, we need to feel secure before we act. We’re unusually protective of ourselves and our loved ones and so prefer to handle situations peacefully and humanely.

We could thus appear to be going rather slow at times -- but with reassurance and confidence, we are more likely to be protective, helpful, and dependable.

Having projects that channel our energy into our home, family, or real-estate will bring the best results. What is a simple action you could you take in one of those areas?

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more emotional during this time. You may experience more conflict at home or the need to assert yourself with your loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6.5 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Also on Sunday, Neptune starts to slow down (station) -- and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until July 3rd. It is getting ready to come to a halt and start it's 5-month retrograde phase on June 16th.

A planet's energies are more exalted during it's "station period"; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.

Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith -- plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film -- while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn't involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets and points in 12-16 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

A head's up for next Monday (June 5th): At 4:57pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 2 hours. At 6:46amEDT, the Moon enters Scorpio. An opportune Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:41pm EDT; and the Jupiter station intensifies.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Letting Go of Destructive Attachments and Connections -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., May 22nd - Sun., May 28th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week, I noticed that my mind has this habit of giving meaning or justification for why feelings are coming up. I had a profound realization: When feelings show up, I can simply allow myself to feel them -- I don't need to understand them, or create a story of "why" I am feeling what I am feeling.

And of course, some feelings are connected to past issues or habits, and have nothing to do with the here and now. Simply embracing my "inner baby" and allowing it to feel whatever it needs to was comforting -- and feelings seem to flow through me much faster.

This week's headline items: the Balsamic Moon phase begins on Monday afternoon and the New Moon/SuperMoon in Gemini becomes exact on Thursday morning. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday very early morning (for 5.5 hours), Wednesday afternoon (for a little over 17 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for a little over 5 hours).

Monday (May 22nd): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday morning. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.

Monday afternoon, around 3pm EDT, the Balsamic Moon phase begins -- when the Moon reaches 20 degrees of AriesThis lasts until Thursday afternoon, when the New Moon in Gemini becomes exact (for those of you who are impatiently waiting for my New Moon video, click here). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.

For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday (May 23rd): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 8:33am EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday early morning, at 2:59am EDT, we enter a 5.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 8:33am EDT. If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to make connections to people that can enthusiastically support your projects (and sentiments).

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 8:33am EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Thursday morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and "rushing things" goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It's probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses ;-)

Wednesday (May 24th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday morning for details).

Wednesday at 3:08pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a little over 17 hours, until 8:15am EDT (Thursday morning). This is an intuitive time -- use it to transform long-term goals and make realistic financial plans.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening and Thursday early morning ahead of time ;-)

As Wednesday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Thursday (May 25th) is a big day! The Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 8:15am EDT(see Tuesday morning for details).

Thursday at 8:15am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will be until Saturday morning. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way... The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)

Thursday early afternoon, a challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 12:22pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Sunday night on; it will be strong until this Sunday evening. The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow. This aspect is also part of a T-Square involving Venus, Pluto and Jupiter (I go into this in more detail in the "New Moon/SuperMoon in Gemini" section, below ;-)

Venus represents our relationships and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations. This aspect challenges us to find meaning in our life through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.

You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: As best you can, empower rather than disempower. We may become obsessed with our commitments and our partner during this time.

We may also experience Pluto through our partner or partnerships, experiencing manipulation and controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto lower vibrational attachments. It's time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can we grow and evolve in our partnerships? Is there a relationship that we need to grow and evolve out of?

This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high, so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs -- definitely don't start a relationship with "just anyone", in order to avoid being alone.

Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love and a genuine desire for intimacy -- and work on being worth finding, in the meantime :-) As best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. As best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need to be able to come from a place of inner strength & empowerment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Thursday, May 25th at 3:44pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sun in almost 5 degrees of Gemini. Not only is this the beginning of a new Moon cycle, it is also a “SuperMoon". To get a more detailed understanding of this New Moon, watch my New Moon video

SuperMoons occur when the Moon becomes either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth; they are therefore more powerful. They generate greater gravitational and electromagnetic forces and therefore increased effects on our physical, mental and emotional bodies. This in turn facilitates greater shifts in consciousness.

There are also two T-Squares, one “Yod", and one Grand Trine in this New Moon chart. This increases the need to expand our vision for what's possible over the next four weeks -- especially since Jupiter is involved in one of those T-Squares, and is the focus point of the Yod. I will talk more about this in a moment, but first let's look at the Gemini energy for this Super New Moon.

With the New Moon in curious, quick-witted, chatty, versatile Gemini, we are asked to connect to others and share our little hearts out for the next four weeks. This is a busy energy focused on communicating and collecting information. We are invited to look at our mental programming and conditioned mind, to see what needs to go, and what new thought structures we might want to create.

Gemini is asking us to stay in movement, to think about all that we need to know in order to move forward, and to share ourselves and connect with others. Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: What is my mind saying to me about what I value? What do I desire most? What’s my inner dialog saying?

The spiritual goal of Gemini is the development of perception, thought, and communication. New connections are created in the brain with each new thought or memory; the more we think a particular thought, the deeper those pathways become.

Ask yourself: What mental “routes” do I keep heading down, that actually no longer serve me? What thoughts am I attached to, that are based on material safety, rather than knowing my self-worth?

Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is in Taurus at the time of the New Moon. This is invites us to set healthy boundaries for ourselves. We are ready to speak up about anything out of alignment with our core values -- perhaps more quickly than we mean to -- and in particular, speak a firm “No” when it is the loving thing to do for ourselves.

When it comes to learning, we'll prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb -- we simply process information better when we can personalize it and attach it to the practical world. We'll likely find ourselves asking "what use is this to me?" quite a bit ;-)

Jupiter in Libra is the focus point of a Yod, involving Mercury in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces. This invites us to move beyond limiting beliefs and connect to a worldview more aligned with our heart, our values, and a perspective that creates the possibility of harmony, balance and peace in our lives.

Venus in Aries gives us the opportunity to connect mind to heart, and jump into the unknown with courage, initiative and enthusiasm.

Venus also opposes Jupiter in Libra, asking us to let ourselves be guided by our heart, without obsessing about relationships or finances. Since we are likely being overly optimistic, it might be best to find the balance between what we value in ourselves, versus what others could contribute to us. This is simply a matter of allowing the heart to stir us in a direction that supports both our relationships and ourselves.

As I already mentioned earlier, this New Moon chart has two T-squares. The first one has Pluto in Capricorn as the Focus point, with Pluto squaring Venus and JupiterWe have experienced other similar T-squares since the end of last year… As with the others, this one asks us to stretch and grow -- we are invited to empower ourselves by connecting to our deepest, truest feelings about who we are, and what we aspire to -- understanding our needs, especially our need for safety.

Social interactions could be intense. It's time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. Ask yourself: How can I grow and evolve in my relationships? Is there a relationship that I need to grow and evolve out of?

We are also invited to stretch toward a more authentic and empowered society -- one that honors our individual contribution -- one capable of owning its fears and less attractive characteristics. How can we bring this about? The best place to start is to honor ourselves, our relationships and express our heart and passions. What would that look like for you? In what ways -- small and large -- could you do this today?

I talk a lot in these forecasts about the power and importance of Self-care -- and once again it is worth our attention: As the empty leg of this T-square lands in Cancer, we are reminded to powerfully nurture ourselves, especially our feeling body, and to open up to receiving support as much as possible, from people we trust and who are familiar to us.

As best as you can, for the next four weeks, take breaks — or simply slow down, allow your mind to relax. It’s important to explore ways to stay centered and grounded. Seek tools or people to help you with that exploration -- any form of meditation, walking in nature, breathing exercises, practicing being in the here and now, will feel empowering to you.

The second T-Square has Chiron in Pisces as the focus point; Chiron squares Mars in Gemini, and Saturn in Sagittarius. This T-square is building at the time of the New Moon, and will be exact between May 29th-June 2nd; it too asks us to stretch and grow... We are invited to release anything that no longer supports our inner growth -- individually and collectively.

Insecurities and restrictions might show up at this time. We might feel triggered by a person, place or situation, calling us to see our own limitations. Following our inner guidance on a daily basis is going to be very important; so is releasing any victim-based behaviors.

This is also a chance to heal the wounds of the past -- particularly those connected to our inner masculine energies. When you deal with issues around anger, ask yourself: how do I manage my anger? How do I feel about it? Is there insecurity around that? Shame? How can I bring love to it all?

These are important questions, because when we look at anger as something that is wrong or shameful, we are actually not serving ourselves or the collective. Experiment with looking at anger as something that you can provide with love and acceptance. Ask yourself: What's underneath the anger? Could it be fear? What if I notice that this thing labeled anger is a bundle of sensations? Is there anything wrong with those sensations, once we take the label off?

Slowing down will serve us more than we can imagine. Ask yourself: What is my health worth to me (physical & mental)? What if I embraced the pace of healing?

We are at a turning point: we realize, more and more, that humanity’s evolution and survival requires actions and attitudes that come from an open heart and a self-responsible attitude -- plus the willingness to make and allow mistakes, allowing our own humanity to shine through.

As we heal ourselves, we heal the collective; rather than asking, "who's fault is it?" or "who's to blame", acknowledge what is so (without judging it) and ask: Where do I go from here? What could I learn from this? What do I want to create next? Where do I want to focus my energies?

As best as you can, be kind to yourself; remember that true healing comes from understanding, embracing and definitely loving who we are deep down: A spirit being who lives in human form. Ask yourself: What would happen if I embraced my own humanity an extra 5% right now?

Given that the empty leg of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to make healing choices from a place of neutral clarity, rather than judgment. What might I experience if I released all judgment towards my "old” wounds and my insecurities? What might be possible if I embraced my imperfections as actually perfect? Could I be kind and discerning at the same time?

Rather than coming from a place of "good or bad", "right or wrong", ask yourself: What works for me? What doesn't? What do I see when I look at that through a neutral lens? What might I discover if I made a list of pros and cons?

One other thing worth mentioning: the Grand Trine between Uranus, Saturn, and the North Node; it’s in the fire signs Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo. This combo provides a flow of inspirational, active, passionate energy. We are able to align with our current Soul's Journey in a progressive, yet responsible way, moving towards joy and our heart's desire.

Ask yourself: What is my heart's desire, right here, right now? What brings me true joy? What does it look like to walk my own path, based on what I am experiencing to be true right here, right now? What might an authentic and unique expression of my individuality be? What needs progress in my life?

You might also want to watch our latest Forum (from May 11th); we looked at the Moon Nodes in Leo/Aquarius in relationship to our birth charts. Other than booking a reading with me, the Forum is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the "90-minute" webinar — To purchase the recording, click here and add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart.

To sum it all up: We are definitely invited to stretch and grow this month! We are also invited to remain curious, open-minded and adaptable for the next 28 days.

Ask yourself: What thoughts and mental processes might be leading me into limiting places and lower vibrations? How could I lovingly embrace my imperfections and limitations? What about those of others? Am I being impatient? Could I lend 5% more trust to the divine timing?

With so many planets and points in mutable signs, we might feel restless and pulled in many directions. It’s all definitely keeping us busy, but it could also bring up feelings of being ungrounded or overwhelmed.

Here are some questions you could ask yourself: What feelings or sensations am I experiencing? Could I allow myself to simply experience that, without attaching any meaning to it? Could I welcome "what is", right here, right now? Could I welcome all the sounds inside my head? Could I give myself permission to notice what is beyond the mind? Can I notice the space that thinking happens in and on? Could I hang out as that space, just for this instant of time, this "now"?

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 3-7 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly.

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.

After this New Moon becomes exact, you'll have 48 hours to write some powerful intentions for this Lunar month — so the best and most potent time to set intentions for this month would be time between 3:44pm Thursday afternoon (May25th), and 2:18am on Saturday, very early in the morning. If you aren’t able to get to it in that time period, give it a few hours, then try again on Saturday between 7:25am and 3:44pm EDT (New York time).

Some more questions you can ask yourself, when setting your intentions: What messages is my body giving me? Could I trust my own inner truth about "right and wrong", without getting rigid and imposing that "truth" on others? Could I remain curious about other people's "truths"?

Friday (May 26th): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday early morning starts out with a mix of energies. One the one hand, we feel enthusiastic and social, and seek connection on a mental level (this is connected to the Moon in Gemini, making a trine to Jupiter in Libra). On the other hand, we might feel tired or overwhelmed by all the hassle and bustle, given that the Moon in Gemini also squares Neptune in Pisces.

Friday mid-afternoon: we feel an opportunity to move things forward for ourselves, especially anything connected to finances or partnerships.  This is also related to the Moon in Gemini, as it sextiles Venus in Aries.

Towards the later evening, yet another Moon aspect gives us a bit of an energy boost (this time it's the Moon aligning with Mars in Gemini). If you are driving at this time, slow down -- safer is better than sooner, if you have to choose ;-) This is a good time to study something new online, talk to someone about a new project, or read a new book while exercising ;-) .

Saturday (May 27th): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 7:25am EDT (see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday very early morning, at 2:18am EDST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 5 hours, until 7:25am EDT. If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it as an opportunity to connect with others, exchange information, and move personal projects forward.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Saturday at 7:25am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancerwhere it will journey until Monday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others.

Saturday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:17pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday evening on, it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

This aspect presents us with a choice: Do we go within and follow our inner compass? Or expand our ability to experience balance and harmony in our one-on-one relationships?

We may feel overly optimistic. Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? What would a broader view show us -- and how might we serve what we see?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-15 degrees of Taurus or LibraIf so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Sunday (May 28th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Saturday morning for more details).

Sunday early morning, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 3:04am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until Monday. This aspect gives us the opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process.

Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do well at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and ability to get things done.

Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, someone else's words… allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration -- and remember, opportunities are openings... they aren't necessarily handed to us... we have to "take" them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 12-16 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Sunday night/Monday very early morning, a Mars/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 2:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until next week Thursday.

A head's up for next Monday (May 29th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Saturday morning for more details). At 2:59am EDT, we enter a  Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 5 hours, until 8:12am EDT. At that time, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leowhere it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. It's also time to take actions on our New Moon Intentions. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Find Time for Loving Self-Connection -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., May 15th - Sun., May 21st, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

For me personally, last week was eye-opening, but I felt tired a lot :-) I believe this had to do with the Mars/Neptune square: Because I was multi-tasking at super-speed, I neglected my intuitive connection to myself, and the need to go within and pause; instead, I felt the restlessness and distractedness typical of this aspect.

Towards the end of the week -- with lots of support from my "healer" friends -- I was able to feel more grounded and less frazzled.

Before we get to this week's forecast:
If you missed our FORECASTING FORUM last week, feel free to watch the mp4-recording of this wonderful event. Please note that we talked about the Moon Nodes (our Soul's Journey) switching from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo until Nov. 2018 -- in relationship to our own Birth charts.

If you want to know how these Nodal movements are impacting you personally, click here and add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart ;-) Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. I strongly recommend watching this particular Forum, especially if you have any personal planets or points (ASC/MC) in Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio or Taurus!

This week's headline items: two celestial bodies are changing signs:Mercury (from Aries to Taurus) and the Sun (Taurus to Gemini). We also have two planets leaving their shadow phases (Venus on Thursday, Mercury on Saturday). The other item of note this week is the last Quarter Moon in Aquarius, which becomes exact on Thursday evening.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for 7.5 hours), Thursday evening (for almost 3.5 hours), and Saturday late evening (for 6.5 hours).

Monday (May 15th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day.It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures -- and those stories we tell ourselves about "what was", rather than what actually "is". It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".

As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 12:07am EDT, Mercury changes signs fromenthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus. This is a "revisit": due to Mercury's retrograde phase in April/May, it already journeyed through Taurus from March 31st until April 20th. This time, it will stay there until June 6th.

For the next 3 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we "say it like it is". We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.

A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so as long as Mercury is in Taurus, we will be drawn towards the "tasteful" in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.

When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next 3 weeks. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it ("what use is it to me?") and attach it to the practical world.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to slow down and “smell the roses” ;-)

Tuesday (May 16th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornuntil 1:50pm EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 6:22am EDT, we enter a 7.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 1:50pm EDT. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for enthusiastic and horizon-broadening connection with like-minded people. As best as you can, take a break, and simply notice what arises in consciousness.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments (and find creative solutions) when it comes to resolving these desires. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan the first half of Tuesday ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 1:50pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday night. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.

For the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs... indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.

The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into doing something conventional or unethical. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday evening).

Wednesday (May 17th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusall day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Wednesday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 1:29am EDT. We started to feel this connection from Monday night on; it will be strong until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level.

We feel uneasy about something, awkward -- and we need to make a choice -- a choice that demands a more developed inner awareness around the issue. Our focus is drawn to the truth of the matter, but we could be dragged down by doubts and insecurities.

It’s also worthwhile to look at how our beliefs about life are connected to what we value -- our own self-worth. As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt: Just because you're not sure about something, doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look -- in other words, don’t impatiently discard things when you’re unsure what to do about them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 25-28 degrees of Taurus or SagittariusIf so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

On Wednesday morning, at 1:29am EDT, another somewhat challenging aspect becomes exact. We started to feel this long-term connection between Jupiter & Neptune around May 6th and will feel it strongly until June 17th. Again, this aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Positive thinking is not going to heal everything: We are now called to learn more about our inner joy and about connecting from the heart. There is a particular emphasis on our beliefs around relationships and creating from a harmonious, balanced place.

At the same time, we feel the need to find time for compassionate and loving self-connection, healing our emotional and spiritual wounds through an inner awareness of unconditional love and faith.

By remaining flexible and making inner adjustments, we can bring clarity (rather than judgment) to both of those energies, and thereby explore them on a deeper level. You may recall that we also experienced this aspect in late October of last year -- what needed adjusting back then?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-15 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Pisces (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Neptune rules Pisces)

Thursday (May 18th) is a big day! The Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 11:52pm EDT (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Thursday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 1:29am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Saturday. This aspect is an opportunity for self-healing; this could support our confidence and brings us into better alignment with our physical and emotional body.

We all have flaws, wounds, insecurities. The more we can open up to that being ok for ourselves, the less judgmental we will be with others. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths -- how might this be true for you?

Until Saturday, as best as you can, practice gentleness; be kind to yourself and others. Again, remember: an opportunity is an opening, a glimpse of new possibilities -- so "opportunities" are not simply handed to us, tied up with a bow -- we have to "take" them, and make something of them. What will you do with this particular opportunity?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer, or 0 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Thursday evening at 8:33pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 28 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. the Moon in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, down-to-earth Taurus. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed.

This Moon phase brings us closer to May 25th New Moon in Gemini. With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since April 26th? What did it mean for you? What actions could shift the things you seeded or started in late April?

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Aquarius, Leo or Scorpio, or 0 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Also on Thursday at 8:33pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for almost 3.5 hours, until 11:52pm EDT. We are experiencing two quite different needs, pulling us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel a strong need to break the rules and move towards our future visions.

On the other hand, we want to connect to what feels familiar and comfortable. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make adjustments, slow things down a little, and find creative solutions that honor both drives.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan this Thursday evening ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at 11:52pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all -- but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But... that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn't match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It's also a great time for releasing fears -- especially the ones based on a sense of separation -- and experiencing "oneness". Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them -- in fact, "going with the flow" is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Last but not least, also on Thursday, Venus leaves her shadow phaseat 13 degrees of Aries! We are ready to attract and receive new "things", money and relationships. This is especially good news for anyone who has a Taurus or Libra Sun-sign, Rising sign or Moon-sign ;-)

Friday (May 19th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Friday very early morning: a long-term, harmonious Saturn/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:14am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from April 14th on; it will be strong until June 14th.

We actually already experienced this aspect in 2017; the first time was at the very beginning of this year. It invites us to connect maturity, tradition and discipline to new approaches and thinking styles -- we are less resistant to change.

Now is the time to free ourselves of debilitating habits or beliefs, -- or pluck up the courage to create, experiment, plunge into new territory... We could receive unexpected help from someone who is older or in authority. An unusual teacher could appear.

This aspect offers a chance to take some risks and conduct experiments in totally new ways of living, perceiving, and interacting with others and our environment. We have a chance to awaken and become aware of any areas of restriction and constriction.

In fact, a spirit of openness, curiosity, and “divine discontent” moves through us at this time. We may branch out in an entirely new direction whilst still considering the consequences and taking responsibility for our actions.

As best you can, consider all alternative, unusual, or non-traditional possibilities that arise; solve "old" problems in new ways. Act on hunches, inner nudges, inklings, and information you get from “unofficial" or unusual sources. What would be a wacky way to come at things? What if you turned something upside down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Capricorn (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Friday morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:06am EDT. We started to feel this connection from Wednesday night on; it will be strong until Saturday evening. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

As best as you can, evaluate any projects before getting involved; our great energy and genuine humanitarian spirit could feed other people's unrealistic expectations, leaving us feeling drained and unappreciated.

If we are able to reevaluate our everyday habits and inner dialog, we will see whether or not they really support our long term goals. If you have the choice, go deeper rather than faster -- empower yourself and others by thinking long-term, rather than zooming into multiple directions, trying to do everything at once.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-20 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio).

Also, on Friday morning: The Sun in Taurus squares the transiting Moon Nodes in Leo/Aquarius. We started feeling this aspect build from Tuesday night on (May 16/17); it will be strong until Sunday (May 21st).

This is a turning point for our Soul's Journey. Check in with yourself: What physical or material attachments must be released for me to move forward on my path towards a place of greater joy?

If you missed our FORECASTING FORUM last week, feel free to watch the mp4-recording of this wonderful event. Please note that we talked about the Moon Nodes switching from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo until Nov. 2018 -- in relationship to our own Birth charts.

If you want to know how these Nodal movements are impacting you personally, click here and add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart ;-) Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 26-29 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Aquarius or Scorpio, or 0-1 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this transit. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (Leo rules the Sun).

Friday late morning (10:12am) EDT: a Venus/Jupiter opposition becomes exact. We've been feeling this aspect since Monday night and will feel it strongly until Monday evening of next week. This is asking us to find an inner and outer balance between two apparently conflicting pulls: On the one hand, we have our connection to our personal goals and valuing ourselves, and on the other, our need for expansion and new perspectives within our one-on-one relationships.

We have a tendency to overestimate our personal capabilities right now: We want to do (and be) more than is actually possible right now. In the same spirit, we might also have a tendency to live beyond our means.

As you can see, we need to watch out for feeling overly-optimistic or -enthusiastic. Moderation is the keyword, with regard to both finances and our affections: Check your bank account... and keep it real ;-) Find the balance between what you value in yourself, with what others could contribute to you.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Saturday (May 20th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Saturday at 4:31pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from steady, sensual Taurus to versatile, fast-thinking Gemini. Depending on your timezone, it will journey through Gemini until either June 20th or 21st. With the Sun in Gemini, the urge for communication is strong. We may be extra interested in collecting and sharing information. This is a time when curiosity and adaptability are favored. We are more flexible, changeable and adaptable -- which makes us quite social as well.

We enjoy intellectual tasks and connections; in fact, we can easily become bored if we don't get enough mental stimulation at this time. Though we are more objective and observant than usual, we prefer to keep things light and easy. There is usually a nervousness in the air at this time as well, as we are constantly seeking to connect and have new interactions. “Sharing” is the name of the game; reading, writing, studying and teaching are thus favored at this time.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Gemini Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Gemini, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely speed up and you feel more chatty than usual.

Saturday at 11:39pm EDT, we enter a 6.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:10am EDT (Sunday morning). We are pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, a desire for inner silence, emotional oneness, and creativity flowing through us... And on the other, a desire for focused exploration and cautious expansion...

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday night/Sunday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Sunday (May 21st) at 6:10am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday morning.

Also on Sunday: Mercury's shadow phase has ended. We are ready to process (and share) brand-new information. As you may recall from earlier blog entries, if you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it's best to avoid the shadow periods before and after Mercury goes retrograde.

This is especially true if the items you are thinking about getting are connected to transportation (cars, flight tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, i-pad, etc.) The shadow phase having ended, feel free to buy, sell and book whatever your heart desires Feel free to also read my blog on the subject ;-) This is especially good news for anyone who has a Gemini or Virgo Sun-sign or Rising sign ;-)

A head's up for next Monday (May 22nd): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Sunday morning for details).    More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Last week was very busy and social, but it also required flexibility and adjustments; the back and forth was no doubt connected to Mercury coming to a halt -- once it went direct last Wednesday, I could feel a shift -- a possibility for forward movement.

This week's headline items: the Moon Nodes switch from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo on Tuesday afternoon; the Full Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Wednesday late afternoon. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for 6 hours), Wednesday late afternoon/early evening (for a little over 19 hours), and Saturday late evening (for almost 3.5 hours).

Monday (May 8th):  the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day.It will journey there until Monday night/Tuesday  very early morning.

Monday at 6:59pm EDT, we enter a 6-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 1:01am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning).Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to collaborate with others and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to your exploration of life.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time ;-)

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning at 1:01am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Thursday early afternoon. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday late evening). This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact Wednesday afternoon). Click here to watch my Full Moon video

Tuesday (May 9th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio all day (see Monday night/Tuesday very early morning for details).

Tuesday at 1:30pm EDT, the Moon Nodesswitch from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo and will remain in those signs until November 2018! The Moon Nodes show us what our Soul's Journey currently requires, on an individual and collective level; the last time the Moon Nodes were in those signs was Oct. 1998 (- April 2000). Let’s take a closer look at what this means:

In Leo, the North Node invites us to come from the heart, to have courage, embrace our creativity, express ourselves authentically, move towards joy, and shine our individual light.

The Aquarius South Node requires that we redefine any groups and networks that we belong to. It’s about releasing dogmatic thinking or group consciousness, allowing our head and our heart to merge, and creating a better future for humankind,  consciously and with the help of our heart.

What might be possible if we connected our concepts for a better world to our personal expression of joy? This is about being the change that you want to see in the world: How can we create change that is aligned with our heart?

We will also talk about this in more detail in the next Forecasting Forum. If you want to know how the Moon Nodes’ movements impact you personally, join us on Thursday, May 11th, 2017, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST (London-time). To register now, click here

Tuesday afternoon, a harmonious Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 2:24pm EDT. We started to feel this connection from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Friday. This aspect brings a sense of focus and empowerment to our long-term goals. We have the ability to look at everything in a very down-to-earth manner right now; through our understanding of "what is valuable and what is not", we can make more powerful choices.

We can also deepen our understanding of our own motivations and look closely at where we are heading. This aspect also brings an intensity and a depth to our conscious awareness; therefore this is also a great time to transform our lives, stripping away anything -- even people -- that no longer connect with who we are.

Ask yourself: How can I live more authentically? Is there anything holding me back? What fears and attachments could I release now, that no longer serve my evolution? Am I willing to let them go, just for now, and just as best as I can?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun being the ruler of Leo; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in almost 26 degrees of Ariesbecomes exact at 1:20am EDT. Due to Mercury's retrograde phase, we started to feel this aspect already from April 22nd on; it will be strong until this Sunday (May 14th)

We've experienced this aspect twice already this year -- the first time was between March 24th - 28th, then again on April 28th. Think back to those times: did any progressive thoughts and ideas occur to you? What did you discover about yourself?

With this alignment, an important insight is building, something new is preparing to enter consciousness – and we are getting the urge to move forward. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel enthusiastic and excited by these fresh ideas and insights.

It's a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t “get” our new insights. Nervousness, impulsivity and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.

Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. We'll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. That way, all that energy can move through you, without shaking you to the core ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius  (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Also, tomorrow (Wednesday all day) and Thursday before 12pm EDT, is your last chance to sign up for Thursday's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we have a Full Moon in Scorpio on Wednesday early evening, and the Moon Nodesswitch from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo on May 9th and will remain in those signs until November 2018!If you want to know how these energies are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here

If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 12pm EDT on Thursday you will receive the mp4-video recording of the webinar.

Wednesday (May 10th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio all day (see Monday night/Tuesday very early morning for details).

As I mentioned on Monday night, the entrance of the Moon into Scorpio started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon; this will be exact today (Wednesday) at 5:42pm EDT, in 20.5 degrees of Scorpio. For the next two weeks, we seek the balance and integration of two polarities --  and are more aware of something that needs to be brought into alignment.

The balance in question is between our physical attachments/connections -- symbolized by Taurus -- and our emotional attachments/connections (Scorpio). It's important to realize that Scorpio's deep, authentic connections to ourselves and others are essential to our existence -- and play a crucial role in defining and understanding what we value most (Taurus).

The time of any Full Moon is always more extroverted and emotional; this particular one invites us to let go of fears and break through to the next level of our evolution. Here's this Full Moon's central question: What do we really want? As a society, as people, as individuals... To learn more about this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video

Taurus seeks comfort and material stability. It's about having a healthy relationship with ourselves, the planet, and the physical plane in general. It's also concerned with creating healthy self-esteem.

Scorpio, on the other hand, craves transformation — it wants to put us in touch with our deepest desires... and worst fears. To make all of it conscious and release what no longer serves; or what has becomes stale or toxic. Put another way: it helps us move from a "survival mentality" to passionate engagement with life.

It’s essential to bring conscious awareness to the walls we built to feel protected and “empowered”. Addressing past trauma and feelings of disempowerment is the only way to allow for the return of trust toward others (and life in general). By acknowledging our fears and breaking down those walls, we can transform into truly powerful beings of love and inner strength.

Scorpio wants to go beyond the surface, to our deeper motivations. For the next two weeks, ask yourself: What propels my sense of attraction or repulsion? What turns me on about life? What scares me?

The Moon in Scorpio makes a trine to Neptune and Chiron in Pisces. This is a favorable aspect that supports our ability to release and heal old traumas, and connects us to our feminine energies in a supportive way. Allowing our fears to surface, and bringing compassion and kindness to our feeling-body, is a little easier for the next two weeks. Intuition and creativity will also be heightened.

Imagine yourself in survival mode or reacting from a fear-based, protective place: What imagery comes to mind? Try visualizing your inner predator: what does it look like? Could you have compassion and understanding towards that inner predator?

Now imagine yourself being passionately engaged with life, powerfully connected to your heart and your loving strength: What imagery comes to mind now? What does your highest Self look like? Could you choose to embrace your inner divine-nature fully, in this now moment?

In contrast to the Moon connection,Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio,is currently in Gemini; we therefore seek out mental stimulation (sharing, teaching, learning, writing, etc….) -- you may recall as much if you caught my Taurus New Moon video of two weeks ago. We want to move fast! Patience, on the other hand… Not so much :-)

Mars squares Neptune in Pisces and trines Jupiter in Libra. The square to Neptune brings up the challenge between connecting the heart and the mind — and introvert vs. extrovert, slow vs. fast, being in touch with our intuitive knowing vs. learned knowing...

We are being asked to stretch ourselves, in order to resolve a tension between the things our mind tells us to go after, versus our need to tap into our intuitive sensing and feel our way through it. As best as you can, slow down and listen to your intuition before aimlessly zooming ahead. Here, we are once again invited to integrate head and heart; as best as you can, let your heart guide your actions.

Ask yourself: What would it look like if I could inspire myself and others? What thoughts would I share? What words would I use? What actions would I take? What might come to be if I attempted to be courageous and kind with myself and others!

The trine to Jupiter brings optimism, enthusiasm and expansion to our relationships and collaborations, especially with siblings,  people we grew up with, or people in our neighborhood. We feel good about those connections and able to have some fun adventures.

Pluto, the modern ruler of Scorpio, is in Capricornat the time of the Full Moon. We are being asked to look at our lives and our long-term plans. We are attempting to feel empowered from within, rather than feeling powerful over others. We are birthing a new paradigm based on "the power of love" vs. "the love of power" -- and remember that healthy "self-love" is also a form of… love! :)

Ask yourself: How authentic am I being? Am I consistently empowering myself and others? How am I doing at letting go of behaviors and impulses that arise from trauma or a sense of threat?

Pluto is trining the Sun in Taurus and sextiling the Moon in Scorpio. This makes it easier for us to recognize what we value most and how to manifest it long-term in the real world. This is definitely a very favorable combination for feeling empowered -- we can transform what no longer serves, and build healthy foundations for those long-term goals.

Ask yourself: What feels most satisfying to me personally? What are my priorities? What is my bottom line? What is the simplest path that manifests all of that long-term? Am I motivated by love or fear?

Pluto is also squaring Jupiter in Libra. This long-term aspect asks us to think about the long-term consequences of our actions and interactions with others. It also sends the message that a new perspective is required, especially on our social, religious and cultural programming and how that affects our relationships and long-term goals. With both planets being retrograde at this time, the required adjustments will be internal in nature…

Venus is the ruler of Taurus; given that she is currently moving through Aries, she is adding her influence as well. We grow more conscious that we are the ones creating our lives and can summon more courage; what we desire right now is forward movement while staying true to our own values and individual needs -- we seek passionate connections and goals.

Ask yourself: Am I being true to myself? What am I feeling passionate about? Am I ready to open my heart to what I truly desire?

The last thing I would like to mention in connection with this Full Moon chart are the Moon Nodes: they switched from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo on May 9th and will remain in those signs until November 2018! If you need a refresher on this important shift, take another look at Tuesday's entry, or watch my Full Moon video

We will also talk about this in more detail in the next Forecasting Forum. If you want to know how the Moon Nodes’ movements impact you personally, join us on Thursday, May 11th, 2017, at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST (London-time). To register now, click here

To sum up: Long-standing patterns demand to be addressed right now! The good news is that we have the courage to do just that, and thereby step into a more fully empowered experience of ourselves... As best as you can therefore, release what you have outgrown, and focus where you have influence, rather than forcing things and struggling to change what you have no control over.

You can also ask yourself: How might I grow and evolve in my relationships, or even in my whole life? Is there a relationship that I need to grow and evolve out of? What does it mean to have long-term commitments based on trust, love and a genuine desire for a deeper connection?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-23 degrees of Taurus,Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeo or Cancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Wednesday at 5:42pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a little over 19 hours, until 12:59am EDT (Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between what you know you value on a physical level, and what intimate connections contribute to your own experience of wholeness and emotional satisfaction.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening and the first half of Thursday ahead of time ;-)

Thursday (May 11th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio and VoCuntil 12:59pm EDT (see Monday night/Tuesday very early morning and Wednesday afternoon for details).

Thursday at 12:59pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journeyuntil Saturday night/Sunday very early morning. We're strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time -- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you aren't overdoing or overstating things.

Thursday early afternoon, a challenging Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:52pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (May 16th). This aspect is asking us to stretch ourselves, to resolve a tension between the things we want to study or teach (or simply people we want to connect with), versus our feelings toward a higher, spiritual connection to ourselves (i.e. to our inner divinity).

We may be chasing a dream... or a fantasy. Ordinary life may seem drab and uninteresting to us right now. We tend to either over- or underestimate our own power and abilities. We want something that stirs our imagination: Some vision or ideal or dream to motivate us.

We have a strong urge to act out our fantasies or live out our dream -- and we have the energy now to DO that which others only talk or dream about; however we tend to feel scattered. As best as you can, slow down and listen to your intuition before aimlessly zooming ahead. Inspire yourself and others.

Mars aligned with Neptune in Pisces back in early January of this year. What began at that time, that now demands a second look and perhaps some adjustments? What actions inspired you then? How can you teach, share or communicate about all of this?

Most impacted by this aspect: those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 11-17 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius, or Virgo. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)

Thursday afternoon, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 4:14pm EDT. Due to Mercury's retrograde phase, we started to feel this aspect already from April 19th on; it will be strong until next week Monday (May 15th). During this time, it will help to interact with integrity and commitment. We can set aside unrealistic views and make concrete, practical plans, that help us explore a larger truth.

We felt this aspect twice before this year, the first time between March 27th - 31st, then again on April 24th. Think back to those times for any mature thoughts or perspectives that emerged. What did you realize about yourself? What commitments did you want to make for yourself?

We “get to the point” -- no wasted time or words. Seeking a larger understanding, we speak our truth, but temper it with adult caution and moderation. The reality of our beliefs gets clearer and our thought processes are more realistic. It is important for us to learn something new -- with a mature attitude.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius, Leo or 0 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn? If so, you will likely be more blessed by this aspect.

Also, Thursday until 12pm EDT, is your very last chance to sign up for today's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we have a Full Moon in Scorpio on Wednesday early evening, and the Moon Nodesswitched from Pisces/Virgo to Aquarius/Leo on May 9th and will remain in those signs until November 2018! If you want to know how these energies are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording.

Friday (May 12th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Thursday early afternoon for details)

Friday morning, a harmonious Mars/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:19am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday (May 7th) on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday (May 16th). This aspect brings optimism, enthusiasm and expansion to our relationships and collaborations, especially with neighbors, siblings and people in our immediate environment or community.

It's also a good time for bold, decisive action, that leads on very directly to success in business (especially during negotiation and contract phases).

Our positive attitude helps us to take risks that get us unstuck, and we have the vigor to blast through challenges; use this aspect to tackle anything that seemed impossible in the past ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-18 degrees of Gemini, Libra, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Saturday (May 13th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Thursday early afternoon for details).

Saturday starts out with a need for inner adjustments. We feel uneasy or awkward and need to make a choice.

Making this choice demands we develop inner awareness around two very different urges: on the one hand, the desire to mentally explore and go beyond what we already know — and on the other hand, the need to keep it real and connected to the physical plane.  (Moon quincunx the Sun in Taurus)

As we move into the second half of Saturday, we might find ourselves wanting to connect with like-minded people, so we can share our enthusiasm and vision for life with them.  (Moon trines Uranus in Aries) We are also experiencing a sense of maturity -- and commitment towards ourselves and what we stand for. (Moon conjuncts Saturn in Sagittarius)

Towards the evening, we may need to make some adjustments again. As best you can, honor both your need for adventure and exploration of life and your need to heal past wounding or insecurities.

You may also feel a pull between introvert and extrovert, or simply fast and slow. Tune in for a moment and see if you need to take a break or at least slow down a little. As best as you can, be compassionate and kind with yourself.  (Moon squares Chiron in Pisces)

Saturday late evening, at 10:14pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for almost 3.5 hours, until 1:37am EDT (Sunday very early morning). If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to communicate what you feel passionate about and nurture your adventurous spirit.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday night ahead of time ;-)

Sunday (May 14th) very early in the morning, at 1:37am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon.

A head's up for next Monday (May 15th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day (see Sunday very early morning for details).More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
