Last week was a practice in being adaptable and going with the flow. My energy level fluctuated quite a bit -- especially earlier in the week -- no doubt connected to the Neptune/Sun square... on Friday I could feel a shift, after Jupiter started to go direct -- I felt way more optimistic and excited about life :-)
Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
If you missed our FORECASTING FORUM last week, feel free to watch the mp4-video presentation of this wonderful event. Please note that we talked about the three planetary station phases (Jupiter, Neptune & Chiron) -- in relationship to our own Birth charts.
If you want to know how these planetary movements are impacting you personally, click here and add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart ;-)Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar.
This week's headline items: Neptune comes to a halt on Friday morning -- starting its 5-month retrograde phase -- and on Saturday, we have the last Quarter Moon in Pisces becoming exact and Jupiter ending its station.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 5 hours), Thursday very early morning (for a little over 4.5 hours), and Saturday morning (for almost 6.5 hours).
Monday (June 12th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 7:45pm EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.
Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.
As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)
Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures -- and those stories we tell ourselves about "what was", rather than what actually "is". It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".
As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?
Monday at 2:45pm EDT, we enter a 5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lastsuntil 7:45pm EDT. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for enthusiastic connections with like-minded people. As best as you can, take some breaks, and simply notice what arises in consciousness.
Use this intuitive time to make adjustments (and find creative solutions) when it comes to resolving these desires. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday afternoon and evening ahead of time ;-)
Monday at 7:45pm EDT,the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.
For the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs... indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.
The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.
Tuesday (June 13th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusall day (see Monday evening for details).
Tuesday late morning, a harmonious Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 11:45am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday morning on; it will be strong until Wednesday evening. During this aspect, we are more optimistic and realistic -- which is good, since we see the bigger picture, communicate more positively and readily inspire others.
We are tolerant of other perspectives and ideas, naturally avoid narrow-minded thinking, and feel at ease reconnecting with people from all walks of life. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, and countries. We might be drawn to exploring foreign languages, cultures, and countries. What learning would expand your horizons?
Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or Ascendent) in 10-16 degrees of Gemini, Libra or Aquarius? If so, you will feel most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Tuesday late evening, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:29pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Thursday. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow.
We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.
We are more imaginative now, and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence, but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical.
It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Gemini , Pisces, Sagittarius and Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).
Wednesday (June 14th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusall day (see Monday evening for details).
On Wednesday, towards the evening, we feel a flow and support towards socializing and connecting with others. Great ideas and concepts can be shared right now.(Moon in Aquarius trines Sun in Gemini-- post at 4:30pm EDT)
Wednesday evening also brings an opportunity to build a solid foundation under a vision we’ve been sensing — so if you possibly can, take some actions on that.(Moon in Aquarius sextiles Saturn in Sagittarius-- post at 5:30pm EDT)
Thursday (June 15th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquariusuntil 6:17am EDT (see Monday evening for details).
Thursday very early morning, at 1:40am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a little over 4.5 hours, until 6:17am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to like-minded people and inspire them. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan.... ahead of time ;-)
Thursday at 6:17am EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday afternoon. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all -- but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.
But... that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn't match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.
It's also a great time for releasing fears -- especially the ones based on a sense of separation -- and experiencing "oneness". Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them -- in fact, "going with the flow" is the best way to go for the next couple of days. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Saturday morning).
Thursday morning, a Sun/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 6:18am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from last Sunday on; it will be strong until this Sunday. We are called to balance our day-to-day mental processes and "conditioning" with a focus towards the larger meaning of things.
As best as you can, give yourself permission to connect to your mental processes with curiosity and playfulness, and approach your communications with others in the same fashion -- while at the same time, taking responsibility for your expectations and views about life.
We may experience a lack of energy or confidence this week. We need to "buckle down"; this could be projected out into the world as limitations that arise from people or circumstances. Communication blocks and a general feeling of slowdown are also possible.
Paradoxically though, we can also take this time to sort out our life, sift out belief structures that are out of date, and thereby become more truthful to ourselves. Go slow and steady with this, as pushing too hard will backfire; ask yourself: Would you rather be "right" or happy? This is also true when dealing with the beliefs of others -- pushing will most likely backfire...
Think back to Dec. 10th, 2016,when the Sun was conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius. What seeds were planted back then? Where have you been expanding your horizons? As you develop more awareness of what you have (and haven't) accomplished since then, ask these follow-up questions: Do you like what you see? Is there more room for integration? How can you bring 5% more awareness to your goals, your accomplishments or lack thereof?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
Friday (June 16th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:35am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Thursday on; it will be strong until Friday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, awkward, and need to make a choice -- so we need to develop inner awareness.
Our compulsive side may lead us down a path that evades rational understanding. Our judgments -- of circumstances, ourselves, others -- can be so extreme during this aspect that we can’t seem to make intelligent and consistent progress in our life for the three days it is in effect.
As best as you can, strive to be more trusting and less strict with yourself for these three days. Surrender to whatever you are experiencing right now: It is temporary ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-20 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Friday at 7:09am EDT, Neptune comes to a halt in 14 degrees of Pisces, beginning a 5-month retrograde phase. Until this ends on Nov. 22nd, we are invited to access Neptunian energy from within: Our intuition will be very strong during this time.
We can see how connected we are to our Higher Self/The Universe/Source. What's more, we have an opportunity to dissolve any barriers between us and our Soul's guidance. Are we sensing our Soul's desire for love and oneness to the fullest? Are we connecting to our intuition? Is anything keeping us from experiencing the flow of life?
Some of us will feel the effects more than others. This is particularly true if you have personal planets in 11-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius -- and if you have Pisces as your Sun- or Rising-Sign. For you in particular, this is a great time to reevaluate your connection to Source -- and perhaps to allow yourself to connect more fully to the flow of life.
Saturday (June 17th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 1:55pm EDT (see Thursday morning for details).
Saturday at 7:33am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 26 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. The Moon in sensitive, dreamy, compassionate Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in versatile, chatty Gemini. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed.
This Moon phase brings us closer to June 23rd's New Moon in Cancer. With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since May 25th? What did it mean for you? What actions could shift the things you seeded or started in late May?
As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-28 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Also at 7:33am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 6.5 hours, until 1:55pm EDT. We are pulled in two quite different directions:
On the one hand, we experience a desire for inner silence, emotional oneness, and the flow of creativity through us. On the other hand, we also feel the urge to connect with others, learning and sharing ourselves with the outside world...
Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday morning and early afternoon ahead of time ;-)
Saturday at 1:55pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Monday early evening. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.
Last but not least, also on Saturday, Jupiter resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. What has come up in the last two or three weeks around relationships? Justice (and injustice)? Balance (and imbalance)? What beliefs about partnerships no longer serve you? What might be possible if you simply moved forward?
Sunday (June 18th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday afternoon for details).
Sunday afternoon, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:47pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Thursday night on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday. We have the opportunity to become aware of an original or unique approach to life. Pleasant changes may be in store -- certainly unexpected ones — so maintain your flexibility ;-)
Where is your uniqueness? What if you expressed it proudly and authentically? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Bear in mind that an “opportunity" is not something that is automatically given to us: We have to "realize" it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Gemini , Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)
Also on Sunday afternoon, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 3:07pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Saturday morning on; it will be strong until next week Monday evening. This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may have a pessimistic attitude towards our lives and find ourselves in conflict with others on intellectual levels. In other words, we might experience communication problems.
It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to our point of view. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from a grounded, truthful place -- while remaining committed to what others expect of you.
We are also called to examine our thinking patterns for rigid or negative attitudes that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of projects that no longer serve their purpose, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It's better right now to reassess and perfect our ideas, rather than present them -- that will come later. We are digging for truths now, and in the process, we might uncover some doubts.
Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our communication at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! We also may have a harder time wholeheartedly accepting compliments, while craving them. As best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for being a good communicator, whether via writing or saying it out loud ;-)
Think back to Nov. 25th 2016,when Mercury was conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius. What thoughts got planted back then? Where have you been learning or expanding your horizons? As you develop more awareness of what you have (and haven't) learned since then, ask these follow-up questions: Do you like what you see? Is there more room for integration? What if, just for today, you brought 5% more maturity to your communications? What about your "inner dialogue”?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-27 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)
A head's up for next Monday (June 19th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 5:53pm EDT (see Saturday afternoon for details). In the morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Jupiter aspectbecomes exact at 7:49am EDT. At 3:42pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 2 hours, until 5:53pm EDT. At that time, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Wednesday evening. In the evening, a challenging Sun/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 6:26pm EDT. Also on Monday, Chiron starts to slow down (station) at almost 29 degrees of Pisces. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
