On May 15th, 2018, Uranus will move into Taurus; it will journey through that sign for almost 8 years, until April 26th, 2026 -- with the exception of a retrograde period that will temporarily return it to Aries from Nov. 6th, 2018, to March 6th, 2019.
Whenever a planet moves into a new sign, it's a good idea to look back at the last time it made that transit -- to quote Mark Twain, "history doesn't repeat itself, but it rhymes" -- things obviously won't go exactly the same, but we can expect a certain resonance or similarity. Uranus is an outer planet that takes a long time to go around the Sun; the last time it moved through Taurus was between June 1934 and May 1942; before that, it was from July 1850 - March 1859.
Before we look at those periods of history, let’s talk briefly about the themes of Uranus in Taurus, so we can spot those “rhymes” if they occur. What can we expect when disruptive Uranus moves through earthy Taurus? Well, for one thing, it would be wise to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and relaxed with being surprised.
If we were only allowed one word to describe what Uranus does, it would be "disruption". It's all about progress, change -- but not necessarily gradual, continuous amendment of the old -- this is more like breaking down and uprooting the "old" structures.
This is the planet of “vision”, and like all visionaries, it favors a revolution as the quickest way to realize the "ideal future state". It moves toward more freedom -- you could say the higher vibration of Uranus seeks freedom for all, while a lower vibration says "I need to be free to do what I want, and the hell with you".
Uranus listens to a higher calling -- a Divine Mind -- and can thus be detached from emotion and “human feeling”. Depending on the vision being pursued, this can be highly beneficial, or very dangerous.
Uranus urges everyone to wake up and smell the coffee, then join together to make coffee like the world has never seen and make sure that nobody ever has to drink mediocre coffee ever again.
Some Uranian keywords: Technology, Innovation, Discovery, Novelty, Ingenuity, Originality, and Astrology.
Uranus has two major modes: Reactive and Intuitive. Look over that list of keywords again and notice how those modes would play out for each one -- "reactive" would lead pretty much every time to harm, "intuitive" to life-giving breakthroughs.
As you can probably tell, Uranus celebrates originality and individuality; it loves the rebels and revolutionaries who rally against the "establishment" and their established thought -- or who at least put a new spin on old things. It can also go overboard and end up steering an erratic course onto the rocks.
So much for Uranus -- what of Taurus? Taurus is connected to....

Those of us who have their Ascendent (or personal planets) in 0-2.5 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius will feel the impact of this first pass into Taurus more than others. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius). Also: Uranus was also in Taurus 84 years ago. If you were born 1934-1942, you will have a Uranus Return within the next 8 years. A new cycle begins on your individual journey towards creative Soul-Expression.
Have an amazing new exploration of your own values and connections to the Earth, your body, your resources, etc.
Love and blessings,

On April 17th, 2018 at 4:12am EDT, Chiron moves from dreamy, sensitive Pisces to fast-paced, enthusiastic Aries, where it will journey until Sept. 25th, 2018 -- you can regard this as a preview of coming attractions, since Chiron will move into Aries in Feb. 2019... and then stay in that sign for 8 years!
What is the significance of Chiron? It's considered the bridge between the limitations of the physical and the unlimited nature of the non-physical (or spiritual) world. Often referred to as the "Wounded Healer", it reminds us of our humanity -- and guides us to see it as a gift.
When we take responsibility for our human limitations and move past seeing them as "wrong" or "bad", our inner gifts and uniqueness can emerge more completely and powerfully.
Let's look now at Chiron in Aries: The day after Chiron moves into Aries,...

Were you born between April 1968 and May 1976? Or Oct. 1976 - March 1977? If the answer is yes, you have Chiron in Aries in your natal chart, and will have a Chiron Return within the next 8-9 years. This means that one cycle of your Healing Journey is coming to an end, and a new one is beginning: you are getting a chance at leaving the past behind, and moving forward with greater acceptance of your own humanity.
Is your natal Chiron in the first House of your Birth chart? Is the ruler of your natal Chiron's sign in Aries or in your first House? You too will be able to relate to the Hero's Healing Journey...
In our next Forum, we'll be talking about Chiron moving into Aries (and Uranus moving into Taurus) in relationship to our own birth charts -- major shifts ahead!
Special Offer: if you sign up for the next Forum by April 22nd, you will get that Saturn/Pluto Station and Retrograde webinar recording mentioned above for FREE ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 0-3 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this transit over the next 5.5 months. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries, since Chiron will move through this sign for the next 8-9 years..

Dec. 19th, 2017 at 11:49pm EST, Saturn changes signs from adventurous, truth-seeking and enthusiastic Sagittarius to practical, accomplishment-oriented and responsible Capricorn, where it will journey until Dec. 2020 (except for the period between March and July of 2020, when it will temporarily move into Aquarius, giving us preview of what’s to come beyond Capricorn).
Saturn feels quite comfortable in Capricorn, as that planet "rules" this earth sign; you might say that Capricorn and Saturn have a lot in common and understand each other. Here are some key characteristics that apply to both:
Building long-lasting structures, diligence, effort, persistence in the face of no immediate rewards (i.e. deferred gratification), resilience, achievement, ambition, being goal-oriented, planning ahead, self-discipline, a mature, realistic approach, patience, hard work, integrity, manifestation through consistent application, setting heathy boundaries, focusing on what's within our control, taking our time, slowing down, karma (you reap what you sow), working towards becoming an authority of some kind... You get the idea :-)
So, between now and Dec. 2020, we are invited to look for practical applications for our ambitions. We may well be firming up our long-term goals -- this transit is a time to focus on building a secure foundation in our professional lives.
Saturn in Capricorn also reminds us that in order to build or bring forth our visions, we need to look at the practical implications -- we need to slow down and take our time, if we are to manifest something that can withstand the test of time -- something that is of value to society, not just to a few.
However, before we can know exactly what path to take, we must know where we currently stand -- we have to be realistic about "where we're at" to know what steps to take.
It's a time when we are working hard, taking on our fair share of duties and responsibilities, and either reaping some of the rewards of our hard work or facing the consequences of poor choices. We are invited, individually and collectively, to apply our newly refined ethics and life perspectives in a healthy and productive way.
Think back to the period between Nov. 1988 and Feb. 1991 -- the last time Saturn made this journey: What did you accomplish back then, in regards to long-term goals, or the building of healthy foundations in your life? What area of life got a lot of your attention and focus in those days? Where did you have to apply yourself and have patience?
By the way, if you were born during that time period, you will experience your first "Saturn Return" within the next three years... (and if you were born between January, 1959 and January, 1962, you're coming up on your second Saturn Return).
If you want to know how Saturn's journey in Capricorn will impact you personally in the next three years, feel free to purchase my 90+ minute webinar on the subject, click here or for a quick preview check out this 30-minute excerpt of the webinar
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn or Aquarius? If so, you will most likely feel a greater sense of responsibility, a need to be more realistic, serious and mature.

On Oct. 10th 2017, Jupiter moved from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until November 8th, 2018. Jupiter has a 12-year cycle, so the last time it traveled through this transformative sign was from Oct. 2005 to Nov. 2006; the time before that was Nov. 1993 to Dec. 1994.
Think back to those times... what possibilities or opportunities arose for you? In what ways did you grow or expand? What felt like a birth or a new beginning at that time? How could you take all of that to the next level?
One thing to keep in mind when looking at those dates in the past: you are no longer the same person. Your level of consciousness that you have now, is very different from what is was 12 or 24 years ago. The past never repeats itself in the same exact way, especially not when we have been continually growing and evolving on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level!
Jupiter symbolizes the principle of expansion; in Libra it holds a magnifying glass over “fair play", moderation and balance within our relationships and our environment -- and changes our perspective on justice and peace. Since Libra is all about weighing our options and wanting to be fair and just, we tend to not make decisions very easily, rather we tend to go back and forth, back and forth, trying to get to the ideal of what we are seeking.
With Jupiter in Scorpio, the magnifying glass now swings over to authentic, emotional commitments or connections. We are invited to seek a deeper understanding of our subconscious drives and fears, of any suppressed or denied parts of ourselves, so we can feel more fully and authentically connected to all parts of ourselves (and thereby feel empowered). Everything in the human unconscious is lit up.
Jupiter promotes a greater understanding of all of our emotions (the good the bad and the ugly, the instinctual and intuitive) and our ability or inability to have intimacy. We tend to have more of an all-or-nothing, do-or-die attitude towards life… Sex, money, power, shared resources and emotional vitality (i.e. passion) become key issues.
We can definitely attract the most good fortune when we give our “all” into a project or undertaking -- and use our magnetic powers to heal others.
For the next 13 months, we are supported in discovering our motivations and releasing what holds us back from achieving our true desires. We’re also supported in feeling fully empowered in collaborations with others. This is a good time for dealing with outdated psychological patterns, clearing out the basement, or embarking on an deep, meaningful adventure.
The phase now beginning emphasizes detoxing and clearing out what is "broken" or unhealthy, thereby giving us a new lease on life. We are more passionate and persistent at this time. We learn about giving up something in order to get (or create) something empowering (for ourselves and others — empowerment is key!)
This process very well could operate on an unconscious level, so any shadow work that we invest in will pay off; we are able to feel more optimistic about our discoveries and we gain a new perspective about those suppressed or denied parts of ourselves.
Since Scorpio also deals with other people's resources, we can see greater possibilities when it comes to financial collaborations, and any gifts or talents that others offer us. Merging and connecting our talents with others will most likely feel exhilarating and create a fresh start or a new birth of some kind.
We are also more likely to be enthusiastic for deeper studies and meanings -- all that is taboo or mysterious (perhaps even occult), psychology, research of all types and levels... and the possibility for deep bonding, whether on a physical or emotional level.
Questions you could ask yourself: What might promote a deeper connection to myself? Is there a journey I could embark on that would open my eyes to a deeper understanding of my own psyche? What needs to end, for a renewed empowerment and passion for life to emerge?
Collectively, we will probably see the full spectrum of possibilities expressed; Scorpio is complex, with potentially high, positive meanings, along with darker ones. That which is taboo is brought to the surface. We see our fears crystalized and expressed in the outside world.
The lower vibrations of Scorpio such as repression, obsession, dark and heavy brooding, addictions, extreme behaviors and power struggles might show up as well. No matter what we experience on a collective level, ultimately, if we are open to seeing the bigger picture, our own personal journey will guide us into a deeper understanding of ourselves.
Pluto as the modern ruler, and Mars as the traditional ruler of Scorpio play an important role in our journey towards greater empowerment.
Saturn moved through Scorpio from Oct. 2012 until Dec. 2014, and June 2015 until Sept. 2015. As Jupiter moves over the same ground in our charts, we get an opportunity to build on the structures and groundwork that was laid back then. Think back to that time: Did you do the work? What structures did you build at that time? What has changed for you since? How could you create a bigger win or opportunities now?
Where does the Jupiter-in-Scorpio transit fall in your own birth chart? What aspects does it make during the year-long transit? How does a wise response to one house support more expansion in the next one? What outward opportunities arise as Jupiter interacts with any of your personal planets? Where is your natal Jupiter in your own Birth chart?
If you’d like more insight into those questions, we also covered the Jupiter movement through Scorpio in great detail in our October Forecasting Forum -- if you want to know how this planetary movement is impacting you personally for the next 13 months, feel free to get the video-presentation of the last webinar -- we applied the Jupiter movement to our own birth charts! Align yourself with the energies of the Universe...

Since Nov. 2016, we’ve been experiencing a T-Square involving Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Libra, and Uranus in Aries. Given that this is a powerful and fairly long-lasting aspect, I figured I would write a special blog entry about it.
Let’s first talk about what T-Squares are in general, before diving into the specifics of this particular one:
The first thing you need to know is that T-squares are very dynamic aspects, that keep us “on our toes”, constantly growing. We can learn a tremendous amount when we work actively and consciously with the energies involved in a T-Square.
So what exactly are they?
Imagine a dinner table with four legs. Now remove one of the legs. You now have two legs “opposite” each other and a third one at right angles to each of the other two; together, they make the shape of a “T”.
This is not a very stable, well-balanced table, as it has an “empty” spot where a leg should be.
Likewise, a T-Square is a formation of 3 planets that together form the shape of a “T” in a chart — two form an “opposition”, the third one usually “squares” them both.
The third planet is known as the “focus planet”. Just like our table, this planet has an “empty leg” directly across from it in the chart.
Why does this matter? Because the “focus planet” in a T-Square brings more stress, and thus a more urgent demand for our growth. We resolve and relieve that stress, and thereby ease the growth process, by bringing the focus planet’s higher expression to that “empty leg” in the chart.
Let’s get down to the specifics of this particular T-square:
As previously mentioned, it involves Pluto in Capricorn, Jupiter in Libra, and Uranus in Aries. All of these planets have been within 5 degrees of each other since the T-Square formed back in November and will remain so until early April. Jupiter in Libra and Uranus in Aries form the “opposition” legs of the table, while Pluto in Capricorn is the "focus planet".
This is a very powerful combo.
It's asking us to be completely honest, with ourselves and others, about our intentions and motivations -- especially around long-term goals. We are also asking this of our leaders right now, we want them to be honest, to have authentic intentions.
This aspect brings the message that each of us has the power to make a difference in the world… that we need not just give our power away to world “leaders” or “influencers”. It’s saying “We all have power, we all can make a difference — Own that! Seize the moment! Take up your courage with both hands and move forward!"
We are at a turning point: Empowering others is now key! Notice when you try to force your beliefs on others — that could introduce an element of disempowerment for them and us.
There is also some tension between relationships and long-term goals. We may ask how our relationships support us in accomplishing those long-term goals. At the root of this are seemingly conflicting desires: We want to expand our experience of harmony, balance and collaboration, all while passionately building something empowering over the long haul. It's not always easy to “square” these energies.
As best as you can, stay flexible, make adjustments, find creative solutions when it comes to these very different desires and focuses. If we feel boxed in to something inauthentic, we may rebel or act contrary. This will be even more true within our relationships -- this could bring in some restlessness or instability, perhaps related to our business relationships or long-term goals.
As best as you can, don't take things too personally -- and stay as flexible as possible. Allow there to be breakthroughs, shifts, changes. As always, change could be uncomfortable — perhaps because we like what's familiar -- or because we want change so badly that we can't handle the in-between phase that comes will all transitions… it’s an invitation to stretch ourselves and step into the unknown.
Here’s some "self-coaching” questions to ease you on your way:
What if that "something unexpected” around the corner was guaranteed to change my life for the better? What needs to be eliminated? Changed? What would "courage" do? What if I simply surprised myself, right here and now?
Let’s look at some other facets of this T-square. Earlier, we mentioned that the “focus planet” is Pluto in Capricorn:
This T-square is thus asking us to stretch and grow along another dimension: we are invited to empower ourselves in the world by connecting to our "feeling body” and by developing a deeper understanding of our physical and emotional needs (especially for safety).
At the same time, we are also invited to stretch ourselves to create a more authentic and empowered society -- one that honors the unique, individual contribution of everyone -- one capable of owning its fears and less attractive characteristics. How might we bring this about? The best place to start is to honor ourselves and express our unique spark.
All of this accelerates the breakdown of long-standing patterns: we are invited individually and collectively to resolve core karmic lessons -- shifting from an old paradigm to a new one. What might a "new paradigm" be?
How can we accomplish change without discounting input from others?
What if change were something we could simply allow, rather than something that involved aggression?
As best as you can, take it one moment at a time, there is no need to rush anything ;-) Ask yourself: Could I allow myself to be uncomfortable, just for right now?
The position of this T-square in our birth chart shows the area of life in which we are developing not only courage and initiative (Aries), but also diplomacy and collaborative spirit (Libra), together with responsibility and integrity (Capricorn).
This T-Square is also asking us to redefine personal and collective freedom. We are invited to release old patterns, particularly around gender, so we can each fulfill our unique role at this critical juncture on Earth. Much like the 1960’s, we are laying the groundwork for future generations right now.
Just as was true then, we need to let our vision direct our thoughts and actions, rather than our fear. Simply know that it is possible -- and that you are part of what makes it possible.
That said — and somewhat paradoxically -- bringing forth a global consciousness based on freedom, equality and mutual benefit, will mean addressing what lurks in the shadows: our unconscious… the suppressed, feared, denied, ignored, shameful, etc. In other words, the inner work not only continues, it informs and enables the vision.
So, I ask myself (and invite you to do the same): What are my true motivations? If fears were driving me, what might they be?
What might shift if I faced those fears -- acknowledged them, brought them out into the open?
What if I allowed myself to surrender to my own higher power, or to my passionately pumping, wildly open heart? Trust your inner truth!
By definition, a better future pretty much always requires doing different things, or doing things differently, so be ready to correct your course or set a new one... Is there another path that leads to the goal? What if it were possible to take responsibility and be flexible at the same time?
What if I forgave myself for just a moment? Even for limitations I still have… even for fears… maybe even for my phobias... for all the “stuff” I still carry around, whether from a past life or this one?
As you can see, we are asked to let go of our fearful conditioning, and embrace a vision that calls for us to "live into" the highest version of ourselves.
This will mean we take an innovative approach both to who we are personally, and to our interactions with others. The same is true of our perspective on justice, we’re asking ourselves: what is just? We’re seeking harmony and balance.
Life is so short in relationship to the life of the planet. That we are not in this body for very long, means that there is a certain degree of urgency -- almost like a responsibility — to make it count for something. If we are like a single drop of rain in a mighty rainstorm, why not at least be a drop that makes a ripple when it returns to the ocean? Who knows, perhaps as your ripple meets others, it might create a beautiful resonance with everything around it -- a harmony that ripples down through eternity…
I therefore invite you to be passionate about life. Why not fully express our uniqueness? After all, that's what will create the shift. It’s what moves other people. It’s the best and easiest way to touch each others lives.
We are definitely being pulled in many different directions with this T-Square, personally and collectively — radically different.
And, as regular readers of my Weekly Forecasts know: Self-care is therefore critical. Why do I say this?
It’s this simple: if we don’t maintain our physical bodies, we will not be able to maintain the pace, or meet the demands placed on us right now.
The empty leg of this T-square being in Cancer, it emphasizes that message: we are reminded to nurture ourselves, especially (once again) our "feeling body". We are being invited to pay attention to our basic needs -- for love, acceptance, control, safety & security, etc.
As best as you can then, take breaks — or at least slow down and allow yourself to relax. It’s important to explore ways to stay centered and grounded -- seek tools or people to help you with that exploration. This is true always, of course, but holds especially true until the end of the T-Square in early April.
Some of us struggle with this. Perhaps we think “I don’t deserve that” or “I’m too busy -- my function in the world is more important than the body that performs the work.” Some of us hear "self-care", and think “selfish”.
When you think about it, though, selfish behaviors are generally coming from fear. And who is served when we neglect our physical or emotional health?
I invite you to reclaim the term “self-care" for love. Aren’t you as deserving of your love and support as any “external” person? Where and how could "self-oriented" motivations serve you and others?
"Self-care" doesn’t have to be a trip to Hawaii -- we’re talking about simple things, like making sure that we eat mindfully, drink plenty of water, exercise, get plentiful rest. This is about letting in affection from friends, family, or pets. It doesn’t matter what your current energetic or financial situation, you can always find some way to let some nurturing happen :-)
What (or who) brings you comfort and support? How can you nurture yourself in these times of change?
What if empowerment in the world came from being in touch with our "feeling-body”? What might we accomplish if we simply asked for what we need?
In other words, “self-care” means connecting to whatever feels supportive, in order to stay grounded and regenerate; this is particularly important right now, because we are feeling very action-oriented. If everything else is moving fast, it’s good if we slow down, become the eye of the storm. If nothing else, at least we can do our best to roll with the punches, while standing in our power.
If you'd like some help with this, watch my Full Moon in Gemini video -- towards the end, I invite you to do a quick experiment with me, using simple questions from the "Sedona Method”. This can support you in feeling more grounded and present (the Sedona Method is one of the main techniques I use in my coaching practice).
All of this not only empowers us, it also make it easier to empower others -- and remember that while force comes from fear and righteousness, true power always comes from love and openness.
Those of us who have personal planets or points (ASC/MC) in 14-28 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer, will feel the effects of this T-Square more strongly.

A client of mine asked me about the difference between daily Astrology and how it impacts our own birth chart. I thought I would share my response...
“The daily Astrology and aspects I talk about in my Weekly Forecasts and my daily posts on facebook/twitter, show how the energies are at play with each other in each now moment. For example: how Jupiter interacts with Chiron at this time. Jupiter being in Virgo, opposes Chiron in Pisces at this time.
Apart from that, there is also how the energies are interacting with each one of us -- with each of our birth charts. How does Jupiter connect with your natal chart? Jupiter being in Virgo, how does it connect with your natal planets?
Every planetary energy interacts with something in our own charts. Either a natal planet, a personal point (Ascendant, Career point, etc) or it simply journeys through a House in our chart (influencing an area of our lives). These interactions help us learn something, explore something new, or experience something about ourselves or the world around us that supports our evolutionary process.
Every planetary energy that interacts with another planetary energy in this now moment shows us what the now energies are all about and how to best align ourselves with those. It's like knowing what the weather is doing...
Of course you are probably only interested in what the weather does where you live. Who cares if it snows in Chicago if you live in England, right?
Watch my video on: "How to Read Your Birth chart", so you can apply my weekly forecast and bi-monthly videos to your own birth chart and get the maximum benefit from my astrological "weather forecasts" ;-)
Feel free to watch this video on my Youtube channel or email my assistant at [email protected] and write: "Recording" in the subject line. She will email you the link to the recording with some hand outs ;-)
I hope this answered your question. If not, feel free to join me for the next Monthly Forecasting Forum, and ask me whatever you want to know about Astrology at that point ;-)”
Love and blessings,

A client of mine sent me this email and I wanted to share it, because I thought that many of you might have similar questions about the New Moon Intention setting process.
"I have two questions on setting intentions during a New Moon:
1. How many intentions should I set? One site recommend 10 but I image focusing a few good and important ones is better than setting your mind on too many things.
2. What does "setting intention" at certain time mean? Do I write them down during that time? Do I focus on them during that time? Do I keep those thought away during the voc moon? How long would it take to "set my intention"?"
Here is what I responded:
“In regards to your questions: I usually do between 3 and 5 Intentions per month, however there is no set rule to this. Check in with yourself and if you sense that after writing down 5 intentions, you have another one that wants to be written down, go for it ;)
Write your intentions down in the present tense and make sure that you feel that your intentions are attainable for you. Let yourself be inspired by your intentions rather than feeling weighed down by them.
It is best to align your Intentions with the New Moon energies that are active for this particular Lunar cycle. Feel free to watch my New Moon videos to understand those energies. To see what area of your life is most affected by each New Moon, please look at your own birth chart to see where the degree and sign of the New Moon lands in your chart. If you don’t know how to do that, please watch my video: “How to Read Your Birth Chart” or join my Monthly Forecasting Forums.
As far as the timing goes, the first 48 hours after a New Moon are the most potent to set Intentions. It's the best time to go within and check in with yourself what you would like to seed for the next 28 days. Once you have tuned in with yourself, you can write your intentions down.
If there is a Moon void of course (VoC) during the first 48 hours after the New Moon becomes exact, it is best to wait until that phase is over, before setting your Intentions. You can check on Moon VoC phases on my website. I write about them in my weekly forecasts. If you would like to receive those via email once a week, feel free to email my assistant at: [email protected] and write “Weekly Forecasts” in the subject line ;)
Once you have written down your intentions fold the paper or put it in an envelope and place it somewhere safe. I usually put the paper with my Intentions underneath my pillow. Again, there are no set rules, do what feels most resonant for you.
Approximately 4 days after the New Moon, when the Moon sextiles the Sun, is the best time to take actions on the intentions that you wrote down. At the time of the Full Moon, take a look at your intentions and see what has developed since and what still needs more developing”.
There is one exception: When there is a Solar Eclipse (which is a very powerful New Moon), it is best to wait with setting your intentions for 48 hours after the Eclipse becomes exact. Here, setting intentions last for the whole Eclipse cycle, which is 5.5 months long. You take actions on those intentions after Eclipse season is over (usually this is after the next New Moon/28 days later). Feel free to also go to my website and check out the FAQ section, or refer to another Note on my Facebook fan page called: Setting Intentions after a Solar Eclipse.
Happy New Moon!
Love and blessings,

"I did have one question for you regarding my first Saturn Return. I guess I'm just a bit afraid that there will be some cataclysmic event that will occur in and around the day it is exact. If there were to be one main event that would occur, I'm wondering what that could be?"
In regards to your question about the Saturn Return, usually when we are in denial about our lives/something in our life or we rationalize things, we will have a rude awakening during a Saturn transit.
However, if you are a realistic person and you are making a conscious effort to look at yourself, your reality, your goals in life, with maturity and by taking responsibility for yourself, you are not going to have a "cataclysmic event".
Saturn is all about growing up and facing reality...in Scorpio, we need to face a deeper truth, it operates more on a psychological and emotional level. What are you most afraid of? It's time to face your fears. Fear is the only thing holding you back. Open your heart and jump :-)
With Saturn in the first house, I would advise you to listen to your body and your inner passions. You may need to make adjustments in your life and you may need to slow things down and take them step by step... as long as you are listening to all the messages from the Universe, you are not going to have a "cataclysmic event".
Trust yourself! You are the one manifesting and creating things in your life. Take responsibility for what you are manifesting and you will become a master manifester!
Through all of it though, remain kind and loving with yourself! Have compassion. You are not at the end of your life, you are at the very beginning...your learning is just beginning :-)
Sending you love and light,

Relative to us on Earth, planets periodically look as if they are slowing down. As they slow more and more, they seem to stop moving through the sky for a while, then actually go "backward". This backward motion then slows in turn, halts -- the planet is stationary again -- and then, slowly at first, the planet sets off again in a "forward" direction.
Astrologers say a planet is "stationing" during both periods when the planet is still or moving slowly. The times when the planet appears to go backward are called "retrogrades".
There are also two "shadow" phases -- during these, the planet travels over ground it will later revisit. The first "shadow" comes before the planet moves backward; the second comes when the planet starts to catch back up. Just like in life, if you backtrack, you have some catching up to do and will see the same scenery twice or more. Thus it is with shadow phases: the same energies will be "coming up" more than once.
In the case of Mercury, it is usually in its shadow for two weeks before the Retrograde phase begins, and for three weeks after it ends. If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items -- especially connected to transportation (cars, airline tickets, etc.) or communication devices (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) -- be aware of the shadow periods as well as the retrograde phases. If possible, plan it or get these things done before Mercury enters it's shadow, or wait until after the shadow phase is over ;-)
Of course, if there is something that must get done during these phases, don't put your whole life on hold, just because Mercury is retrograde or in it's shadow. Sometimes things line up exactly at the right time. As best as you can, trust your intuition and be open to making adjustments as needed ;-)
If you have a Gemini or Virgo Sun-sign or Rising sign, all the above is especially advisable for you, but also if you have personal planets or your Asc./Rising Sign in the sign that Mercury journeys though as it starts its retrograde phase.
Feel free to reach out for support, to understand this more fully in your own personal birth chart.
