Faith in the Healing Process -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 27th - Sun., May 3rd, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was colorful and exciting -- though it started out feeling a little heavy and doomed -- by Wednesday I could feel lots of energetic shifts taking place. I could sense the releasing of the “old” on a physical, mental and emotional level — looks like the Pluto station was still doing its magick. I was also able to connect to a lot of people this week; I got lots of support and I feel eternally grateful for everyone who is in my life at this time — this is connected to the Sun in Taurus moving through my 7th House ;-)

This week's headline items: Mercury changes signs from Taurus to Gemini on Thursday evening. On Sunday, late in the evening, the Pluto station ends and the Full Moon in Scorpio will be exact. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for 11 hours), Thursday morning (for 1.5 hours), and Saturday late morning (for almost 12 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 9:07pm EDT. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?

Monday at 10:12am EDT, we enter an 11-hour Moon void of course (VoC) which ends at 9:07pm EDT.Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for communicating your value in the world and also for taking care of your “inner child”.

If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your day ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Monday at 9:07pm EDTthe Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Thursday morning. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.

Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals.

Tuesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday evening for details).

Tuesday very early morning, an opportune Mars/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 3:17am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday morning on; it will be strong until this Thursday evening. This is an opportunity to accept the validity of our anger and desire, so that we can learn to express these energies naturally and confidently.

This could also inspire us to make resolutions and take actions towards healing our emotional and spiritual wounds. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 18-22 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars rules Aries)

Tuesday is also a great day to get organized and line those things up that are in our best interest. Allow flow and trust that all will be well.

Tuesday is also your last chance to take advantage of my current promotion: After last year’s success, Krista Mitchell and I are once again hosting our Memorial Day Weekend “Life of the Soul” Retreat in Sedona, AZ  -- watch out for the details today on twitter, my facebook fan page, my Newsletter -- or, just click here to see what it's all about: http://www.astrologercoach.com/The-Sedona-Retreat-2015.html :-)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Monday evening for details).

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 12:32am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday morning on; it will be strong until this Friday. This aspect may block our full experience of intimacy. It asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth and finances. If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.

We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are being asked to do some healing work: Use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody’s perfect; we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It's ok.

If you get triggered, do your best to see where this trigger originated -- perhaps in your childhood? Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced, that wants to move through us and out; the more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place.

As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might shift, if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 17-23 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Wednesday evening, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspectbecomes exact at 7:11pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us, and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired.

Charitable acts lift our spirits -- our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now -- any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- it isn't just handed to us, we have to make it happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Thursday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 10:03am EDT (see Monday evening for details).

Thursday at 8:23am EDT, we enter a brief Moon void of course (VoC) phase that lasts until 10:03am EDT. Use this intuitive time to communicate what’s of value to you -- and be of service to others. As always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow and avoid starting anything brand-new.

Thursday at 10:02am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Saturday evening. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Thursday at 10pm EDT, Mercury changes signs fromsteady, slow-paced Taurus to curious, quick-witted Gemini, where it will journey until July 8th — an unusually long time, due to Mercury’s retrograde phase that begins on May 18th.For the next ten weeks, our thinking shifts gears: Mercury -- the energy of communication -- will pick up the pace of our lives just a little.

Our mental exchanges and abilities are going to have priority for the next two weeks: talking, writing, keeping a finger on the pulse of all that's happening ... This is a time of study and learning, a cycle of mental challenge, curiosity, and social/intellectual growth.

Make sure you don't exhaust yourself during this time. As best as you can, keep taking breaks and let yourself see the larger picture now and again. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the pick up in pace more strongly.

Friday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Thursday late morning for details).

Friday we have an opportunity to connect with others and create some great things. From the early afternoon until the early evening, we may need to make some adjustments and find creative ways to work with the energies at play: On the one hand we need to collaborate with others and play nice, on the other hand, we feel a deep desire to be authentic and truthful about what we want to build long-term.

Friday evening: We may need to find a balance between what we want for ourselves and what we need from others. We want to collaborate, but we are also feeling quite impatient, because our minds are moving very fast right now. As best as you can, take a deep breath now and then, and drop in to your heart center ;-)

Saturday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 9:47pm EDT (see Thursday late morning for details).

Saturday at 10:03am EDT, we enter an almost 12-hour Moon void of course (VoC) phase that lasts until 9:47pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to enjoy exchanging valuable information with others. If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your day ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Saturday at 9:47pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Tuesday morning. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.

As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free.

Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact on Sunday late evening).

Pluto resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station tomorrow (Sunday). What has come up in the last three weeks around long-term goals? How empowered or disempowered do you feel about them? Now is a good time to do some internal work in this area...

Sunday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Saturday evening for details).

Sunday early morning, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 4:35am EDT. We started to feel this connection from Thursday night on; it will be strong until Tuesday evening of next week. This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may have a pessimistic attitude towards our lives and find ourselves in conflict with others on intellectual levels. We might experience communication problems.

It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to our point of view. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from a grounded, truthful place -- while remaining committed to what others expect of you.

We are also called to examine our thinking patterns for rigid or negative attitudes that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of projects that no longer serve their purpose, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It's better right now to reassess and perfect our ideas, rather than present them -- that will come later. We are digging for truths now, and in the process, we might uncover some doubts.

Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our communication at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! We also may have a harder time wholeheartedly accepting compliments, while craving them. As best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for being a good communicator, whether via writing or saying it out loud ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-6 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Now, let’s talk about this month's Full Moon...

As mentioned yesterday, the entrance of the Moon into Scorpio started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon; this is exact Sunday at 11:42pm EDT, in 13 degrees of Scorpio. For the next two weeks, we are looking for balance, being more aware than ever that something needs to be brought into alignment.

The balance in question is between our physical attachments/connections -- symbolized by Taurus -- and our emotional attachments/connections (Scorpio). It's important to realize that deep, authentic emotional “Scorpio” connections to ourselves and others are essential to our existence -- and play a crucial role in defining and understanding what we value most (Taurus).

Any Full Moon is a more extroverted and emotional time; this particular one invites us to let go of fears and break through to the next level of our evolution. It also invites us to illuminate what has been hidden in the shadows… We are ready to delete some very old programming.

The Full Moon question: What do we really want? Taurus seeks comfort and stability, connection to our values, having a healthy relationship with ourselves, creating good self-esteem. Scorpio, on the other hand, craves transformation — it wants to put us in touch with our deepest desires and worst fears.

It’s essential to bring conscious awareness to walls we built to feel protected and “empowered”. Addressing past trauma and feelings of disempowerment is the only way to melt our “frozen” hearts and allow for the return of trust toward others (and life in general). By acknowledging our fears and breaking down those walls, we can transform into truly powerful beings of love and inner strength.

The Moon in Scorpio makes a trine to Neptune and Chiron in Pisces. This is a favorable combination that supports our ability to release and heal traumas; that support may come from others (especially women).

Pluto is the modern ruler of Scorpio; it now sextiles the Moon and trines the Sun, a very favorable combination for long-term goals and feeling empowered -- we can transform what no longer serves, and build healthy foundations for those long-term goals.

Jupiter in Leo is also quite active in this Full Moon chart: It squares the Full Moon, trines Uranus in Aries and inconjuncts Pluto in Capricorn. This sends the message that a new perspective is required, especially on how our social, religious and cultural programming affects matters of the heart. Long-standing patterns demand to be addressed right now! The good news is that we have the courage now to do just that and thereby step into a more fully empowered experience of ourselves. The required adjustments will be internal in nature…

Ask yourself: Do my possessions and relationships reflect who I really am.. or who I was conditioned to be? Am I motivated by love or fear? Freedom or Safety?

If we focus on what we don’t want, we get stuck... If we focus on the excitement around things we do wish for, that inspiring energy will propel us forward.

The best way to work with the Full Moon energy for the next two weeks, is to realize that we are all equal, all global citizens. It is in our best interest to work with others who are committed to waking up and being change agents. Those who don't fall into that category do not need to be condemned or ostracized -- they will come around eventually -- focus where you have influence, rather than forcing issues and struggling to change the unready...

Neptune in Pisces is the focal point of a wide T-square with Mercury in Gemini and Saturn in Sagittarius. This is similar to the last lunation, but now we have Mercury in play, rather than Venus. This indicates a readiness for a shift in perspective from limiting viewpoints, toward allowing ourselves to be less rigid and judgmental, more compassionate with ourselves and others.

Since Mercury will be retrograde for three weeks, starting mid May, this T-square will be reactivated three times over the next 7 weeks. This sends a clear invitation to reexamine our inner dialog. Intuition and creativity will be heightened. The importance of honest and empathetic communication is highlighted: We are invited to integrate head and heart.

To sum up: This Full Moon invites us to stay in touch with our feelings and deepen our relationship with our unconscious mind and hidden aspects. The future looks a lot less bleak once we can let go of past traumas and hurts. This quote from Deepak Chopra is a wonderful fit: “ The things we fear the most have already happened to us”.

Let yourself open to "the love that you are” -- the “real you” that existed before all the trauma and hurt, that has carried on silently in the background all this while. Be courageous and kind to yourself! To learn more about this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video (it will be posted by Thursday evening)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Saturday evening for details). Mercury will enter its shadow phase; at 5:02am EDT, the Sun/Jupiter square — I talked about in the Full Moon video — becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on, it will be strong until Wednesday of next weekAt 9:49pm EDT, we will enter a 9.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC)….more about all that in next week’s forecast ;)

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja

What Do You Most Value? -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 20th - Sun., April 26th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Saving Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was very busy and intense -- I could really feel that Pluto station. Ironically, the pockets of self-care I was able to fit in were what really supported the release of outdated patterns -- they allowed for long-suppressed feelings and fears to surface.

This week's headline items: The Sun changes signs from Aries to Taurus on Monday morning; on Thursday morning we can start taking actions on our New Moon intentions; the first Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Saturday evening. There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday (from Midnight until 7:28pm EDT), Wednesday very early morning (for 23 hours) and Friday early afternoon (almost 20 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 7:28pm EDT. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down...

We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and all its offerings ;-)

Mondayat 5:42am EDT, the Sun changes signs from adventurous, speedy Aries to peaceful, steady Taurus, where it will journey until May 21st. For the next four weeks our attention is on physical pleasures and we are more aware of our need for comfort and consistency. The Sun in Taurus reminds us to slow down and smell the roses.

We are able to be very consistent and methodical, which helps us bring groundedness and reality to our new goals. We focus on what is most important to us. What do you value most? How do you feel about yourself and what you bring to the table?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely slow down and you might indulge in physical or material pleasures.

Monday at 7:28pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment.

With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 12:15am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Sunday on; it will be strong until Wednesday. This aspect asks that we grow and evolve around how we communicate — and how that communication lands. We may have to find creative ways to communicate from a place that honors ourselves and our values; we may have to learn about our thinking processes and conditioning.

We want to share our ideas without limitations, and we want to do it now; we might therefore drift into exaggeration, impracticality, impulsiveness and frustration. The upside to all this: we can be extraordinarily funny, interesting and creative. Ask yourself: What is true? What is fiction? What is "truth" -- does it exist? How do my attachments to comfort influence my answers?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-16 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Tuesday afternoon, a harmonious Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 5:35pm EDT. We started to feel this connection from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Sunday. This aspect brings a powerful ability to accomplish and go after our goals. We are able to see more clearly where we are heading and what we want to be committed to.

Our vitality and energy levels are at a high point. We are most likely feeling ambitious and dynamic right now. Our recuperative powers are excellent and our health is robust. We might feel inspired to build up our physical strength during this astrological influence, and this is a good idea; we can develop greater endurance and vitality now, which will rejuvenate our body.

This is definitely a strong energy for working steadily -- and in a practical, down-to-earth way -- on a project. It is also quite a sexy combination. As best as you can, use this powerful mixture of energies and go after the things you have been wanting for a while now -- and as Pluto is involved, use this energy to fulfill on your Soul's purpose.

Anything that we feel deeply passionate about and that feels in complete alignment with our deepest core, is very likely part of our Soul's journey. What moves you? What turns you on -- not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-19 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars being the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

One more thing I want to mention: After last year’s success, Krista Mitchell and I are once again hosting our Memorial Day Weekend “Life of the Soul” Retreat in Sedona, AZ  -- and starting today (Tuesday), I’m running a special one-week promotion! To take advantage, watch out for the details today on twitter, my facebook fan page, my Newsletter -- or, you can just email me right now at info@astrologercoach.com :-)

Wednesday is a big day! The Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini all day (see Monday evening for details).

Wednesday very early morning at 1:38am EDT, we enter a 23-hour Moon void of course (VoC) phase that lasts until 12:25am EDT (Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to share with others about your existing projects and passions. If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your day ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Wednesday mid morning, a harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 9:26am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday morning. Our words and our "speaking" are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.

We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations toward long-term goals. We investigate our own beliefs about the meaning of life in a very realistic way and look to see what needs to be done next.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-19 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio)

Wednesday afternoon, an opportune Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 2:41pm EDT.We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on and it will be strong until Wednesday evening. We have an opportunity to grow in our social and personal relationships at this time. Humor and caring play a big role in our interactions with others.

We can call upon tolerance, optimism and co-operation when dealing with loved ones now. Financially speaking, things are "on the up"; we may have opportunities now to expand our pocketbooks -- if we make sound decisions that are in the interest of everyone involved.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Gemini, Leo, Libra or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Wednesday evening, a Mercury/Mars alignment in 15 degrees of Taurusbecomes exact at 7:03pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday morning. This alignment might speed up our thinking, but probably not a tremendous amount, as both of these planets meet in Taurus -- a slow moving energy.

We communicate with curiosity, enthusiasm and energy, especially on food, art, the Earth/nature, caring for our bodies, money -- and things we value a great deal. We get to the very heart of a subject.

Something to be aware of: We may take things a little too personally. This defensiveness could make it challenging for others to engage in healthy dialogue with us. We may focus too much on material safety and get attached to being right rather than happy. As best as you can, know your value, and relax: All good things come to those who contemplate ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-18 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries).

Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning at 12:25am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Saturday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.

Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.

If you set intentions last week Saturday or Sunday, after the New Moon became exact, Thursday after 5:30am EDTwill be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?

Thursday late evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 11:17pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We focus on the truth of the matter. We could be hindered by doubts, feelings of not being good enough, a lack of self-confidence.

It’s also worthwhile to look at how our beliefs about life are connected to what we most value. As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt: Just because you're not sure about something, doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look -- in other words, don’t impatiently discard things when you’re unsure what to do about them.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 2-5 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules of Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Friday:the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Thursday very early morning for more details).

Friday at 1:04pm EDT, we enter an almost 20-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 9:13am EDT (Saturday morning). We can use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to our feeling bodies and physical bodies. We may want to slow down a little and allow ourselves either to connect with loved ones… or simply enjoy life/nature/art.

As with all Moon VoCs, do not start anything brand-new. If at all possible, plan your day ahead of time, stick to routine things, or go with the flow... 'cos the flow knows where to go ;-)

Friday evening, an opportune Mercury/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 6:36pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Thursday on -- and it will be strong until Saturday night. We have an opportunity to bring healing energy to our concrete mind and to our thoughts. We also have a chance to heal insecurities in our verbal, in-person, or email interactions.

We are able to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. By bringing love and understanding to our thinking processes, we have a chance to move beyond entrenched habits -- like pushing ourselves really hard, or thinking pessimistically.

What was your family's attitude towards money -- or material things in general? How can you take a gentler approach to your inner dialog now?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 18-22 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Saturday at 9:13am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Monday evening.

This also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later this evening).

Saturday at 7:55pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in 5 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Leo earlier today. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

We feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place a week ago (April 18th); if we began a project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now -- and maybe facing it’s first obstacles. This aspect provides a time to stretch and grow, thereby creating some forward momentum.

We may feel anxious or unusually busy: As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 3-8 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Sunday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Saturday morning for details).

Sunday afternoon, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 5:31pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday evening on; it will be strong until Tuesday. It brings an opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others -- to do something different or unusual -- freedom plays a big part in this aspect.

Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time. As you can imagine, it's a favorable time for social meetings and events, fresh air is blowing through our relationships. Stay open and flexible as best you can.

The spirit of experimentation also extends to our financial undertakings, good places to look would be: All things "tech" (electronics, technology, internet), metaphysics, the arts, group activities. This is not the best time to make long-term financial investments however, unless you had a flash of inspiration that came from a “higher” place ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-20 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Saturday morning for details). At 10:12am EDT, we enter an 11-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that last until 9:07pm EDT; at which point, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Thursday morning… more about all that in next week’s forecast ;-)

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja

Last week was unexpectedly emotional for me: Lots of issues connected to my childhood came up and I was able to release a lot of it. It was mostly connected to speaking up and expressing myself authentically without apology. I am certain that the Lunar Eclipse and Pluto's station contributed a lot. After Jupiter went direct on Wednesday, I could feel myself lightening up, and I became able to take it all in with a wider perspective.

This week's headline items:  On Tuesday, Mercury changes signs from Aries to Taurus, and Jupiter gets back to its regular speed; on Wednesday afternoon, the Balsamic Moon phase begins; on Thursday, Pluto comes to a halt; on Friday, Eclipse season ends, Saturday afternoon sees the New Moon in Aries become exact.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday mid afternoon (for 0.5 hours), Wednesday late afternoon (for 24.5 hours), Saturday mid afternoon (for 2.5 hours), and Sunday evening (for 10.5 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

It is going to be an interesting day: We need to make some adjustments and “think different”... And we’re also lively and edgy. We are outgoing and want to connect, play games and express our unique spark. It’s going to be an unusual day and surprising… If you can, connect with like-minded people… ;-)

Tuesday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 4:12pm EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday afternoon, we enter a very brief Moon void of course (VoC), from 3:45pm until 4:12pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to take a break and tune into your body. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow ;-)

Tuesday at 4:12pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Thursday late afternoon. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns.

Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us. As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

Tuesday at 6:51pm EDT, Mercury changes signs fromenthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until April 30th. For the next two weeks, our thinking shift gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we "say it like it is". We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.

A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so for the next two weeks we will be drawn towards the "tasteful" in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.

When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next two weeks. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it ("what use is it to me?") and attach it to the practical world.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to slow down  a little and “smell the roses” ;-)

Last but not least for Tuesday, Jupiter ends its station and resumes its normal pace through the sky. Over the last four months, we’ve done a lot of internal work on our beliefs and perspectives on life; we now have a chance to apply this to the outside world.

Wednesday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Tuesday afternoon for details).

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, a Venus/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 12:25am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday morning on; it will be strong until this Friday. This might be a time of relationship tests or trials: we may not be attracting the things and people that we want in our lives -- at least, not as easily as we were before this transit.

This can be eye-opening -- a signal to work on improving the "ways" (as well as the "things") that we bring to partnerships. Many doubts could be raised now. We could be withdrawing or holding back a little, as we attempt to figure out what we want and need -- and what we can give. We are working towards ridding ourselves of self-delusion when it comes to close partnerships, socializing and finances.

Our goal is to find truthful connections to others. Relationships built on weak foundations may not survive, but other relationships can be improved and strengthened. Financial matters might be stressful for the time being, which forces us into a position of conservation and moderation. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this -- as well as on an external level with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-7 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (since Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Saturn rules Capricorn)

Wednesday at 5:37pm EDT, we enter a 24.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that will last until 5pm EDT (Thursday afternoon). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to inspire others about your existing projects and passions. If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your day ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

Wednesday afternoon also starts the Balsamic Moon Phase. This lasts until Saturday afternoon, when the New Moon in Aries becomes exact (…more on that on Saturday). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Thursday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces and VoC until 5pm EDT (see Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday early evening  for details). At that time, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Saturday late afternoon

The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

The big news for Thursday however, is that Pluto comes to a halt in 15.5 degrees of Capricorn, starting its 5-month retrograde phase (April 16th - Sept.25th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until May 3rd.

During the Pluto retrograde phase it is most powerful to surrender internally to any process we experience around empowerment or disempowerment. As best as you can, take it all in, and see where you would like to make adjustments. You will get a chance to do just that for the next 5 months.

Tap into a place of authenticity from within -- embrace all of you: the good, the bad, and the ugly. You can ask yourself: what habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? How can I love all of me -- the light and the dark? What would it feel like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-18 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Friday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Thursday for details).

Friday evening, a challenging Mars/Jupiter aspectbecomes exact at 8:29pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Wednesday of next week (April. 22nd). I mention this aspect in this week's New Moon video as well (feel free to click here to watch :-) This “challenge” is also an opportunity to grow by resolving two tensions:

On the one hand, we feel passionate about practical things that help us see our own value, and bring us financial stability. On the other, we seek the "truth” about joy, and the self-expression that can flow from that. In the same spirit, we seek growth and expansion in our creative life. We could also find meaning in our relationship to “fun" and children (including our "inner child").

What if really valuing ourselves and our talents could actually help us expand our joy and sense of innocence? What if the same were true of actions that lead us toward greater self-worth and self-value?

We also desire exciting, inspiring experiences at this time -- we may not be satisfied with the way things are. There could be an inner restlessness, that demands freedom and space, but doesn't necessarily deliver: With this position, we never feel that we have enough experiences, knowledge, money, things, etc... It's difficult knowing when to stop.

If you can, pause and reflect — this will help with that feeling that you can't get enough, no matter what you do.

This can also be a playful and humorous time -- joking around, practical jokes, smiles and laughter. We like to keep stretching our limits, to see how far we can go -- and we could go too far, overextending or over-promising, due to an overly-optimistic assessment of our own capacities and energy levels.

Remember, we have a desire for more financial stability and self-worth, while also seeking for the truth through playful, heartfelt interactions with others. As best as you can, make space for both, perhaps even look for ways those desires can support each other. Deepen your understanding of the importance of self-appreciation and self-expression. And it bears elaboration: Not knowing when to say "enough" could lead to physical and spiritual exhaustion.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-8 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Sagittarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries, Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Here is a bit of good news: Friday is the last day before the New Moon in Aries, which ends the Eclipse season that started on March 20th. Yay! We have now fully received our consciousness upgrade! Congratulations! You are ready to move to a whole new level of being ;-)

The last day before the New Moon is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Saturday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 5:31pm EDT (see Thursday for details).

Saturday at 2:57pm EDT, the Moon aligns with the Sunin 28 degrees of Aries. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle. With the New Moon in fast-paced, enthusiastic, courageous Aries, we are asked to connect to our personal goals and get very clear what we want to create for this new Moon cycle. This is an action-pact energy and the focus is on ourselves. We tend to do first, think later: We have a tremendous amount of energy and we want to sprint.

Aries is asking us to tap into our courage and passion, step into the unknown, take initiative and assert ourselves. Aries is the “Beginner’s Mind” sign: Open, eager, willing to be surprised. The fewer preconceptions we have, the more possibilities we see, and the wider the path grows.

This is our time to let go of “shoulds” and "needing to know all the answers”: Living in the present moment and trusting our instincts... That's the way to go ;-)

Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: Where can I approach my life with “beginner’s mind”? What do I want to create in this “now moment"? What if I were to tap into my inner courage and passion for life -- right here, right now?

Mars (the ruler of Aries) is in Taurus: We need to create a solid relationship with ourselves, we need to value what we have to offer. This is also a cosmic message about relating to the physical plane (and ourselves) in a loving manner -- one that honors this planet, this body, this life. We are also being asked to slow down and focus on quality over quantity, sustainability over novelty, ease over force.

How can we generate and protect life and this planet? How can we inspire confidence and have a healthy relationship to ourselves? What if we loved ourselves 5% more every day?

The highest expression of the Aries energy is to lead by example and inspiration -- others follow us because they see our courage and enthusiasm for life, and they want to be a part of it.

Here are some aspects that Mars is making at the time of the New Moon:

Mars squares Jupiter in Leo: This supports us in moving forward, we may feel as though we can’t get enough, perhaps are overly optimistic. It helps with tapping into our courage and taking risks…

Mars aligns with Mercury in Taurus: This aspect helps us set healthy boundaries for ourselves and speak a firm “No” when it is the loving thing to do for ourselves. We are ready to speak up about anything out of alignment with our core values -- perhaps more quickly than we meant to...

Mars trines Pluto in Capricorn: This aspect is significant because Pluto is moving very slowly, having halted two days prior to the New Moon, and now being retrograde. Its energy is still “exalted” (heightened), and thus has us investigate anything dysfunctional within our businesses, governments or long-term goals. We are being asked to eliminate or transform whatever is no longer in alignment with our Soul’s passions.

Mars and Pluto support each other in manifesting something real -- tangible, sustainable, meaningful. When we are more confident about what we have to offer, and can communicate it clearly, we feel more empowered and able to build something of value and stature — and all in alignment with our passions. If that were true for you, what would you be “building”? What would be truly meaningful to your Soul?

One last aspect worth mentioning: Neptune (in Pisces) is the focal planet of a wide T-square with Saturn in Sagittarius and Venus in Gemini. With this aspect, we want to move fast and get to the truth of things right away, making it a little bit harder to trust in our interconnectedness with everything. Relationships may also feel challenging…

It is important for us to focus on our daily routines and learn to take it one day at a time. How can we feel more unified with each other rather than separate? How can we trust our heart, when life keeps trowing us curveballs? How can we accept new truths into our hearts "just because"? How can we gain more clarity?

As best as you can, honor yourself, your body, your talents. Listen to your inner voice and bring your passionate Self to the world. Remember that each of us makes this journey in our own way and in our own time. Feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject (will be posted the latest by Thursday evening)

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 26-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? 0 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly.

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentionswould be any time between 5:31pm Saturday late afternoon, and 7:07pm Sunday evening (EDT)

Saturday at 5:31pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Monday evening. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.

Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down... We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)

Sunday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Saturday early evening for details).

Sunday very early morning, an opportune Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 3:12am EDT. We started to feel this connection from Saturday morning on; it will be strong until Monday morning. This is an opportunity to bring compassion and an intuitive approach to our thinking process. Having faith and connecting to our Higher Selves will be of service to us at this time. Listen to your body, listen to your heart and as best as you can, hear those messages.

Any artistic or spiritual endeavors are likely to do better at this time. Music might help us with our thinking process and our ability to get things done. Let yourself be inspired! A book, a song, a movie, someone else's words… allow the Universe to speak to you. Open your mind to a higher vibration, allow for any and all conditioning to dissolve that is holding you back. Remember: opportunities are openings; they aren't necessarily handed to us -- we have to "take" them and make something of them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 7-11 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces)

A little bit later, also Sunday morning, a challenging Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 6:29am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on, it will be strong until Tuesday of next week. We can be confused, unrealistic, or overly idealistic around love and money -- so it's best to wait until the transit is over, before making big moves in these areas -- if you make long-term financial investments, buy or sell big-ticket items, or start brand-new relationships, it's likely you will not see things as they truly are.

We are actually being asked to have faith; to let our intuition guide us in money and love -- if we are able to do this, we will grow through it. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days -- it might also help to know that relationships and endeavors of a spiritual or artistic nature can move forward at this time.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 6-12 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Sunday at 7:07pm EDT, we enter a 10.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC), which last until 5:42am EDT (Monday morning). Use this intuitive time to go deeper into your passions and take a look at what is of value and meaning to you. If at all possible though, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new — in fact, plan your evening/night ahead of time, or stick to routine things. If you can't… simply go with the flow.

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 7:28pm EDT (see Saturday early evening for details). The Sun changes signs, from Aries to Taurusat 5:42am EDT, and the Moon moves into curious, versatile Gemini at 7:28pm EDT….more about all that in next week’s forecast ;-)

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja
