Could You Forgive Yourself? -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 30th - Sun., Dec. 6th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

I realized something last week in connection to the Chiron station: as human beings, we all have our limitations and anomalies.

Self-rejection can be a big part of the Chiron-wound; if we can embrace and accept our own limitations or anomalies, we are less likely to expect everyone else to be without them. We can then simply meet everyone, including ourselves, where we are (without judgement).

In my own experience, a lot of frustrations and grievances come from the unrealistic expectation that everyone out there (myself included) is without limitations, wounding and fears -- we are all supposed to operate at our highest potential at all times. On top of that expectation, I also sometimes take other people's limitations personally... For those of you who identify with this: How can we observe this and be kind, loving and gentle with ourselves?

This week's headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Thursday very early morning,Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Friday late evening -- and the Chiron station ends on Saturday evening.

There are three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late evening (for 7 hours), Thursday late evening (17.5 hours), and Sunday evening (21.5 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it? More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Monday starts out uneasy. We need to develop inner awareness around our sensitivities and bring compassion to them. In the later morning, things flow nicely; we feel excited about new commitments and worldviews. In the afternoon, we have an opportunity to get things done, moving exciting projects forward.

Towards the later evening, we are asked to bring awareness to whatever it is we feel most passionate about -- as in the earlier morning, we feel an internal unease. Are we after laughter and joy? Or intense and authentic emotion? As best as you can, make adjustments as needed, and drop any self-judgment.

Also on Monday, last day to take advantage of the DEAL OF THE MONTH! Get my whole Soul-Based Astrology Curriculum at an amazing price! If you really want to dive in, this is the deal for you! Tuesday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday morning, a harmonious Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9am EST. We started feeling this aspect from this past Sunday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect supports a connection between our higher mind and our day-to-day mind. We are able to receive inspiration from higher places and maybe even look into the future. We are able to communicate our vision for a better future; insights arise from these communications.

This is an opportune time for the following: meetings and other organized group activities; communicating online, activities involving computers, scientific projects, and/or metaphysics. Our intuition is strong: original, creative insights and ideas come "out of the blue". As best as you can, stay open to these "downloads" -- they might change how you see life ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will feel especially blessed by this connection. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Tuesday late morning, challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:01am EST. We started feeling this aspect from this past Sunday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself -- and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) :-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 14-20 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Tuesday at 10:09pm EST, we enter a 7-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 5:09am EST (Wednesday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect and collaborate with others -- and if possible, have some fun doing it ;-) As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Wednesday at 5:09am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.

Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals. This Moon placement starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (exact on Thursday very early morning).

Thursday:the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Wednesday morning for details).

Thursday very early morning, at 2:40am EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 11 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. We start to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon enters Virgo on Wednesday morning. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change. This Moon phase brings us closer to Dec. 11th's New Moon.

During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon -- in this case, that would be Nov. 11th -- as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Thursday at 11:59pm EST, we enter a 17.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that lasts until 5:34pm EST (Friday afternoon). Use this intuitive time to take care of all the wonderful details that support a smoother and healthier day-to-day experience.  As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Friday Day ahead of time ;-)

Friday: the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo and VoC until 5:34pm EST (see Wednesday morning for details).

Friday morning, challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspectbecomes exact at 7:53am EST. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect asks that we grow and evolve around how we communicate — and how that communication lands. We may have to find creative ways to communicate from a place that honors ourselves and our values; we may have to learn about our thinking processes and conditioning.

We want to share our ideas without limitations, and we want to do it now; we might therefore drift into exaggeration, impracticality, impulsiveness and frustration. The upside to all this: we can be extraordinarily funny, interesting and creative. Ask yourself: What is true? What is fiction? What is "truth" -- does it exist? How does my need to be "right" influence my answers?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 18-24 degrees of Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Friday at 5:34pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Monday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Friday at 11:15pm EST, Venus moves from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra and begins a journey through passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio that will last until Dec. 30th. Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit now; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.

Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are -- it's like having X-ray vision of the heart. As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others -- especially if it's someone you have (or want to have) a romantic relationship with.

With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Recommended: Investments in transformational programs, partnerships with others.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Saturday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday afternoon for details).

Saturday evening, Chiron resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station today: Healing, embracing our own humanity, and making peace with our past will get easier. As best as you can, lovingly observe (and even embrace) your own limitations and anomalies... and welcome yourself to the human race.

Very often, we are not even aware of rejecting ourselves. Here is how that can happen: Any time we blame someone (or something) else for what's occurring, we are in fact rejecting a part of ourselves. Could you forgive yourself for any self-rejection (past, present or future)?

Sunday: the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday afternoon for details).

Sunday morning, an opportune Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 5:14am EST. We started feeling this connection from Thursday on; it will be strong until Monday of next week. This aspect provides an opportunity to connect our inner joy to our personal goals. We feel confident about our abilities and our judgment and are more able to assert ourselves without rubbing people the wrong way.

That said, as with any opportunity, we have to “take” this one: It requires taking actions on our part. What is a simple action you could take in a spirit of joy and passion?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-15 degrees of Sagittarius, Libra, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Sunday afternoon, a challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 3:52pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will be strong until next Friday (Dec.11th). Our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now; we feel prepared to go to any lengths, in order to achieve our goals -- and we have the required energy. It's a real need to achieve, a compulsion even -- we often find it difficult to stop.

This aspect could also lead to power struggles: We could find ourselves pushing for fairer treatment from an authority figure, or cooperation from others. Given that we want this at any cost, push could come to shove -- and then we're in a shoving match -- with Mars and Pluto involved, we may not know when enough is enough.

As best as you can, tap into the power of the love within. Find creative ways to empower yourself and others. Flexibility is key -- and walking away for 10 minutes might just save you from doing something you later regret ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Cancer or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Sunday at 9:03pm EST we enter a 9.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC) that lasts until 6:26am EST (Monday morning). Use this intuitive time to connect and collaborate with others outside your regular comfort zone. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening/night ahead of time ;-)

A head's up for next Monday: At 6:26am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday of next weekIn the early afternoon, we enter the Balsamic Moon phase, which brings us closer to the next New Moon (exact on Dec.11th)...More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Have a fantastic week!
Many blessings,
Sonja

Our Healing Process -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 23rd - Sun., Nov. 29th, 2015

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

What can I say, Neptune's station feels really strong -- but I can also feel a strong Uranus energy (Jupiter inconjunct Uranus)... Haven't felt so awake and (at the same time) tired in a long time... maybe ever. I also had some issues come up around relating -- no surprise there, with Venus squaring Pluto and approaching an opposition with Uranus -- that will definitely bring up "relating" issues :-) It felt impossible to tolerate inauthenticity in myself and others. I very much wanted to be separate from some people this week. I did my best to observe without judging myself...

This week's headline items: Jupiter moves over the Solar Eclipse degree on Monday afternoon; the Full Moon in Gemini becomes exact on Wednesday late afternoon; Chiron comes to a halt on Saturday very early morning; and Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky again, starting Sunday.

There are four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday (until 11:26am EST), Tuesday evening (for almost 16 hours), Thursday late evening (16 hours), and Sunday morning (12 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains inpioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 11:26am EST. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

Monday at 11:26am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. With the Moon in Taurus, we seek serenity, security, peace, comfort: The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus. Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: Life… slows… down...

We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)

Back on Sept. 13, we had a Solar Eclipse in 20 degrees of Virgo. On Monday afternoon at 4:36pm EST, Jupiter moves over that same degree. Energetically, things will resonate back to that Sept. 13th's Solar Eclipse. Whatever comes up this afternoon, in connection to personal growth, learning, expanding your horizons or your ability to see the bigger picture, notice it -- and wherever needed, expand your point of view over the next 4 months.

What resonates with your whole being? Where are you being asked to grow and expand your understanding?

Monday late afternoon,a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 5:13pm EST. We started to feel this opposition from last Saturday morning on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is part of a T-square between Venus, Uranus and Pluto: The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.

I mentioned this last week already, but it bears repeating: a T-Square can create stress and a need for change. This is especially true when it is located in the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra and Capricorn).

It is wise to find creative solutions and move towards a peaceful resolution; however that said, it might not always pan out that way… as best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. Also, as best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need, if you’re to come from a place of inner strength and safety.

This opposition calls us to balance "relationship" with "having space". We may feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others -- or in regards to our finances. This is not a good time to start a new relationship or significant financial undertaking; as best as you can, avoid "impulse buys" at this time.

We may find that we disagree with others, are restless, even anxious. We might be taken off guard by unexpected events. If we can separate rebellion from a sincere need for change, we might be able to find new ways of dealing with others. It is best to stay open-minded and flexible -- do your best to find creative solutions to anything disempowering.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-20 degrees of Capricorn, Libra, Cancer or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Tuesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Monday late morning for details).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, an opportune Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 12:19am EST. We started feeling this aspect from last week Thursday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This aspect is an opportunity to have more self-discipline and self-motivation in our lives. We could find an increased focus in our work and activities, and a sense of purpose.

We have a chance to face life with more purpose and maturity. We tend to be more practical than usual, and our progress in most projects is perhaps slow but steady. This can be a very productive time in our lives. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- this isn't necessarily handed to us, we have to make the most of it. It's our choice.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 4-9 degrees of Libra, Sagittarius, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars rules Aries; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Tuesday at 8:26pm EST, we enter an almost 16-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 12:15pm EST (Wednesday early afternoon). Use this intuitive time to get grounded and enjoy physical pleasures. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday late evening/night, a Mercury/Saturn alignment in 6.5 degrees of Sagittariusbecomes exact at 11:57pm EST. We started feeling this aspect from  last week Saturday on; it will be strong until this Thursday. This connection strengthens our ability to make realistic decisions connected to our need for expansion and learning. We are more able to come from a place of integrity and maturity when planning anything long-term.

We prefer to have serious conversations with others that move us forward, closer to a common goal. It's an excellent period for reviewing, reassessing, perfecting, and improving our thinking patterns, beliefs, and  foreign affairs. Even though we might have a more negative or critical outlook initially, this alignment serves the purpose of reaching a balanced, mature, and realistic state.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 3-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Big day! Wednesday: the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 12:15pm EST (see Monday late morning for details).

Wednesday very early morning, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 2:15am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Friday. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We are being asked to change our perspective about life and what we believe. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity.

It may be difficult for others to understand us, as we may become unclear communicators. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. We are more imaginative now, and easily swayed by the opinions of others. That said, we can also be highly creative and inspired under this influence, and maybe overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical.

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of  Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini and Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Wednesday late morning, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:32am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Thursday evening. This provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align, if we choose. Words and deeds come quickly; we can be quick and brave. As with any opportunity, we have to "take" this one: it will not happen by itself.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 5-9 degrees of Sagittarius, Libra, Leo  or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo; Mars is the ruler of Aries).

Wednesday at 12:13pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment.

With Moon in Gemini, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good. This Moon placement also starts the build up towards the Full Moon (exact later this afternoon).

Wednesday at 5:44pm EST, the Full Moon in 3 degrees of Gemini becomes exact. The Moon's movement into Gemini earlier in the day started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon. During this time, we are looking for balance and are more aware than ever that something needs to be brought into alignment. (Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details)

Sagittarius teaches us a wider perspective, asking us to look beyond facts and learned knowledge, to our life experiences and the wisdom we gain from them. Gemini, on the other hand, wants us to stay connected to our immediate environment and our day-to-day mind -- processing and sharing information as fast and as much as possible.

The Sun aligns with Saturn and Mercury in Sagittarius, asking us to pay close attention to our thinking, and make mature and responsible choices around our quest for higher meaning. Questions you can ask yourself for the next two weeks: What guides choice? What do I learn about life every day, just by living it? What is the best way to handle "foreign" affairs?

Neptune in Pisces is still stationing at the time of this Full Moon; this has a strong influence over this Lunation -- Neptune's energy is exalted in the sky. It is also the focus point of a T-square, squaring the Moon in Gemini, and the Sun/Saturn/Mercury alignment in Sagittarius. This T-square asks us to stretch and grow; we are invited to release anything that no longer supports our growth -- individually and collectively.

This combo also asks us to shift our perspective (a change of mind and heart). When we perceive (and choose) from the heart, we can advance from fear to love, separation to oneness. Taking responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes is another big part of that (check out my "Saturn in Sagittarius" video for more)

It will be helpful to focus on our health and daily routines. Living a physical existence is not always the easiest but it also brings great rewards; the more we can bring understanding and compassion to the daily details in our lives, the more we will experience the true meaning of unity and compassion.

Even more than normal, a daily spiritual practice is very helpful at this time -- and "spiritual practice" can mean many things: dancing, singing, music, mediating, nature walks, cooking, cleaning, yoga, breathing exercises, lying on your bed and conversing with God/Source/the Universe/your angels/your higher Self/your Spirit Guides....It makes no difference what you call it, or how you do it, as long as you get to tap into your inner guidance system ;-)

Since the Moon Nodes also switched to Virgo/Pisces last week (you might want to watch my video on the subject), there are now many planets and points in mutable signs -- this is why we feel restless and pulled in many directions. It's definitely keeping us busy, but it could also be bringing up feelings of being ungrounded or overwhelmed. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed?

If the answer to that is "yes", as best as you can, center yourself in the here and now. Allow yourself to be present, listen to what's inside of you (beyond the mind), trust your intuitive Self.

Following our inner guidance is going to be very important; so is releasing any victim-based thinking. The best way to notice victim mentality is to catch ourselves when we blame others (or "life") for our current experiences. If you catch yourself doing this, acknowledge it gently and be kind to yourself (we all do it from time to time... it's human).

By the way, you don't have to blame yourself either: Assigning "fault" is not mandatory, and when we do, we get stuck. Rather than asking, "who's fault is it?", acknowledge what is so (without judging it) and ask: Where do I go from here? What could I create?

Of course, this sort of thing has to do with our conditioning, which is pretty much formed by the age of 7 -- "Show me the boy and I'll show you the man". Conscious awareness and self-compassion is the only way to create a shift for ourselves. When we can see conditioning for what it is, and love ourselves nonetheless, we can start to make new choices. The other paths really just lead to more of the same, in more subtle forms, sad to say :-)

So... As best as you can, be kind to yourself with this process; remember that true healing comes from understanding, embracing and even loving who we are deep down: A spirit being who lives in human form. What would happen if you embraced your own humanity an extra 5% right now?

I talk a lot in these forecasts about the power and importance of self-care -- and once again it is worth our attention: We may have a lot of nervous energy right now, we might feel scattered. As best as you can, take breaks, slow down, allow your mind to relax.

For this Full Moon and the next two weeks, you could ask yourself: Am I ready to let go of what I would "like" to be true? What might happen if I looked through the fears and beliefs that block me from embodying my own truth? What nourishes my soul?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 1-8 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Wednesday early afternoon for details).

Thursday morning, a long-lasting, challenging Saturn/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:15am EST. We started feeling this aspect around Nov. 1st; it will be strong until Dec. 24th

This aspect asks us to stretch and grow, to resolve a tension: On the one hand we want our perception of life to be realistic and have a need for big accomplishments; on the other hand, we need to trust divine timing -- we feel compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild. There is definitely also a restlessness in the air.

Ideally, this aspect leads to a realignment of our long-term goals and spiritual ideals, as we assess what is truly meaningful to us. Restrictions may seem to block our plans. We could feel a sudden lack of inspiration. We might be forced to face issues we've been avoiding or putting off. These could include addictions and other behaviors that have left us feeling de-energized. Another important facet of this aspect is taking responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes, rather than blindly following others and buying their beliefs wholesale.

It could become harder to trust in our interconnectedness with everything. It's important for us to focus on authentic attitudes and learn to take it one day at a time. How can we feel more "oneness"? Could you trust your heart, even when life throws a curveball? What if we accept new truths into our hearts, "just because"?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces or Capricorn (Neptune is the ruler of Pisces; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

On Thursday at 10:35pm EST, we enter a 16-hour Moon void of course (VoC), that lasts until 2:27pm EST (Friday afternoon). Use this intuitive time to connect with others and enjoy exchange and collaboration. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your night and the first half of Friday ahead of time ;-)

Friday: the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini and VoC until 2:27pm EST (see Wednesday early afternoon and Thursday morning for details).

Friday at 2:27pm EST, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Sunday evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others.

Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary. Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.

The Moon is not making any exact aspects to any of the other planets allafternoon/evening. This will feel very similar to a Moon Void of Course, so we might just want to go with the flow and practice some self-care.

Saturday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Friday afternoon for more details).

Saturday very early morning, at 1:43am EST, after a 5-month retrograde, Chiron comes to a halt (in order to turn direct) in 17 degrees of Pisces. As you may recall from last week's post, Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, it brings our attention towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Watch out for any triggers that are connected to your past.

We have been connecting internally to our healing process for the last five months; as Chiron picks up speed, we become ready to bring that healing (and the healing process) to the outside world. What did you discover about your emotional and spiritual wounds? How could others benefit from your discoveries?

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 15-19 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you may need to take your emotional or spiritual wounds under the magnifying glass. Take a closer look at how you can bring compassion and understanding to those wounds/insecurities.

Sunday: the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer until 7:47pm EST (see Friday afternoon for more details).

Sunday at 7:46am EST, we enter a 12-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 7:47pm EST. Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space for connecting with others harmoniously and also for taking care of any emotional or family issues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)

Sunday late morning, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:49am EST. We started feeling this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Wednesday of next week. This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

Concentrating on artistic or spiritual pursuits might be better than focusing on things that require straightforward, factual thinking at this time. We might feel confused; it might be a challenge to know where we stand with others. As best as you can, avoid things like scheduling surgery, important appointments, job interviews, or launches of new projects at this time (unless they are spiritual or artistic in nature). Compassion toward ourselves works best for this time period.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 4-10 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Sunday evening, a Sun/Saturn alignment in 7.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 7:16pm EST. We started feeling this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Thursday of next week. This alignment brings a more serious tone to our perception and our attitudes towards life -- it calls for us to "get real".

This is especially true not only for projects that are connected to travel, foreign affairs, publishing or expanding one's horizons -- but also with anything that feels particularly meaningful: We are motivated by the desire to manifest tangible results. We can focus and work hard, especially if we feel excited about something, welcoming a sense of discipline, structure or order.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 4-11 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Sunday at 7:47pm EST, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Wednesday morning.

Also on Sunday, Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky, after a 5-month retrograde phase -- it is ending its station. What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition?

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Sunday evening for more details). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Dissolve Any Barriers -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 16th - Sun., Nov. 22nd, 2015

I could immediately feel the Pisces South Node after the Moon Nodes switched from Libra/Aries to Virgo/Pisces. The first thing I noticed was when I found myself obsessively searching for songs on Spotify. I wanted to stay in bed all day and just daydream. I felt this immediate compassion towards everyone I spoke with; people shared with me that they had a hard time getting going in the morning... I am sure the Neptune station amplified all of this as well... After all Neptune rules Pisces ;-) Feel free to watch my video about the Moon Nodes in Virgo/Pisces

This week's headline items: on Monday, it's time to take actions on our New Moon intentions from last week. Neptune comes to a halt on Wednesday late morning, the first Quarter Moon in Aquarius becomes exact on Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning, Chiron starts to slow down on Saturday (beginning its "station"), Mercury changes signs from Scorpio to Sagittarius on Friday afternoon and the Sun will do the same on Sunday late morning.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for 10.5 hours), Thursday very early morning (for 4 hours), Saturday very early morning (for almost 2 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for almost 21 hours).

Monday: the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.

We are resourceful and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?

If you set intentions last week Wednesday or Thursday, right after the New Moon became exact, Monday will be a great time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?

Monday at 3:53pm EST, we enter a 10.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 2:24am EST (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time for research that supports long-term goals. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your late afternoon and evening ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 2:24am EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Thursday morning. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Tuesday late morning, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 25 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact at 9:53am EST. We started feeling this aspect build from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Saturday. When the Sun and Mercury come together, we are especially sharp, communicative, and open. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life.

Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks -- we might be too busy thinking about what to say next. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are usually strong during this time; we like to think independently and are proud of our opinions and our thoughts. For this reason, our egos might get bruised if we are not "heard" -- if our opinions are pushed aside, ignored or criticized. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have different opinions… and that's ok.

Our thinking may become obsessive -- but becoming dogmatic may not serve us -- choose your battles wisely and seek to empower wherever possible.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-29 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Wednesday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Tuesday early morning for details).

Wednesday at 11:31am EST, after a 5-month retrograde, Neptune comes to a halt in 7 degrees of Pisces and starts to move forward again. The emotional nature of Neptune feels confusing and overwhelming at times. As Neptune will be moving through Pisces for the next 12 years, our understanding of interconnectedness is going to grow; our collective spiritual and emotional sides will slowly evolve.

We can see how connected we are to our Higher Self/The Universe/Source. What's more, we have an opportunity to dissolve any barriers between us and our Soul's guidance. Are we sensing our Soul's desire for love and oneness to the fullest? Are we connecting to our intuition? Is anything keeping us from experiencing the flow of life?

As Neptune slowly starts to pick up speed again, it will bring our focus back to the outside world. We are now ready to implement the things we have been connecting to internally for the past 5 months. What did you discover about your feelings and your intuition?

Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 5-9 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you may feel the effects of the Neptune station more than others.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces (Neptune rules Pisces):This is a great time to use what you learned in the last 5 months about your connection to Source -- and perhaps to allow yourself to connect more fully to the flow of life, and let yourself be inspired — even more than most other people.

Thursday: the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 7:21am EST(see Tuesday early morning for details).

Thursday very early morning at 1:27am EST, the first Quarter Moon in 26.5 degrees of Aquarius becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Aquarius on Tuesday. The Moon in freedom-loving, progressive, detached, objective Aquarius makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in passionate, all-or-nothing, intimacy-craving Scorpio.

We feel compelled to take action. Last Wednesday (Nov.11th) saw the New Moon. If we planted seeds for a new project or initiative around then, it is probably off the ground by now -- and facing its first obstacles. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum.

We may feel anxious or unusually busy. As best as you can, take it one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible and find creative solutions in your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 23-29 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus or Leo? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday at 3:19am EST, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 7:21am EST. We are experiencing two quite different needs that pull us in different directions: On the one hand, we feel the need to improve our lives and move towards our vision; on the other hand, we need to talk about our inner experiences -- the inner world of shadows and fears.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. Find ways to honor your feelings/gut and see where the mind takes you from there. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at 7:21am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Saturday late morning. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns. Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us.

As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

Friday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday afternoon at 2:43pm EST, Mercury changes signs from intense, passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio to optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius. It will journey through this sign until Dec. 9th. When Mercury is in Sagittarius, our thinking shifts from plumbing the depths of situations, to learning more broadly.

We seek out ideals, our thinking is more optimistic, our faith increases. We believe and persuade. With Jupiter in Virgo right now, we are invited to think on a practical level and improve our daily routines.

There will likely be a lot of talking, sharing, and possibly overthinking things. As best as you can, listen to your thoughts -- toss the ones that are no longer a match for your inner sense of truth. Expand your thinking by tapping into your inner wisdom and connecting to a broader perspective about life.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a greater need for expansion -- let's hope it's not your waistline that expands :-) Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will most likely feel more chatty for the next 3 weeks.

Friday evening, a challenging Venus/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 9:02pm EST. We started feeling this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until Monday of next week. This aspect is part of a T-square between Venus, Uranus and Pluto: The Universe is asking us to stretch and grow.

A T-square can create stress and a need for change. This is especially true when it is located in the cardinal signs (Aries, Libra and Capricorn). It is wise to find creative solutions and move towards a peaceful resolution. That said, it might not always pan out that way… as best as you can, stay grounded in love, not fear. Stay flexible and open-minded. As best as you can, nurture yourself; make sure you have everything you need to be able to come from a place of inner strength & safety.

Venus represents our relationships and that which we most value; these areas may undergo major transformations. This aspect challenges us to find meaning in our life through partnerships. We must now uncover the deeper layer of our life. With Pluto in the mix, social interactions could be intense.

You may see changes in financial status or relationships. In the latter, things erupt that have been brewing beneath the surface for some time; this may prove disruptive: As best you can, empower rather than disempower. We may become obsessed with our commitments and our partner during this time.

We may also experience Pluto through our partner, experiencing manipulation and controlling behaviors; we must be especially wary of resisting change and holding onto negative attachments. It's time to let go of destructive attachments and connections. How can we grow and evolve in our relationships? Is there a relationship that we need to grow and evolve out of?

This aspect could also express itself through sexual tension; there is a strong desire for love in its physical expression. However, keep your standards high, so you can come upon a love that fulfills all your needs -- definitely don't start a relationship with "just anyone", in order to avoid being alone.

Remember to be true to your own values; wait for someone with whom you can have a relationship based on trust, love and a genuine desire for intimacy -- and work on being worth finding, in the meantime :-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 11-17 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Saturday: the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 10:12am EST (see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday at 8:23am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that lasts for almost 2 hours, until 10:12am EST. Use this intuitive time to take a break, or to slow down and get in touch with your feelings and your intuition. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Saturday at 10:12am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Monday morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive. Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity.

Also on Saturday: Chiron starts its station. It is slowing down as it gets ready, after its 5-month retrograde phase, to move forward again on Nov. 28th. We will feel the effects of its station until Dec. 6th; its energies are more exalted during this period.

Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to "make it on our own".

We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.

What emotional or spiritual sore spots could you acknowledge? What needs your compassion/love? What needs to heal? At a different level, this time could also see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

Those of us with personal planets and points (Asc. or MC) in 15-19 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius will feel this station more strongly.

Sunday: the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday morning for details).

Sunday at 10:25am EST, the Sun changes signs from passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio to adventurous, optimistic, freedom-loving Sagittarius. The Sun will journey here until December 21st. For the next four weeks, we may feel a little more restless than usual. We are more aware of our sense of humor and our love for freedom. Our approach to life at this time tends to be direct and honest.

We may want to connect to people from all walks of life right now, just so we can learn about others. We tend to feel more optimistic during this time; this may get us into trouble if we go overboard and only take an idealistic point of view. Wanting to learn, explore and have fun gives us vitality and zest for life. What would open you up to a new adventure?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more adventurous and restless than usual…exploring something new might be just the thing for you to do.

Sunday at 2:16pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC) that lasts for almost 21 hours, until 11:26am EST (Monday late morning). Use this intuitive time to connect to your personal vision for life; tap into your unique spark to fulfill your vision. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your afternoon, evening and Monday morning ahead of time ;-)

A head's up for next Monday: the Moon remains inpioneering, fast-paced Aries and VoC until 11:26am EST (see Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon for details)At 11:26am EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will journey until Wednesday early afternoon. In the afternoon, Jupiter moves of the Solar Eclipse degree (from Sept.13th) at 4:36pm EST anda Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 5:13pm EST...More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
