Under the Magnifying Glass -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., June 27th - Sun., July 3rd, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was filled with love, beauty, friendship, deep connections, fun. Even though I hadn't gotten enough sleep the past couple of weeks, I was able to keep going with a smile on my face. I am sure the Mars station helped boost my energy. I could also feel the Jupiter/Pluto connection quite strongly, especially over the weekend -- lots of transformative, intense energies that came up and out -- clearing the deck and creating a feeling of rebirth.

This week's headline items: Chiron comes to a halt on Monday morning, as it begins its 5-month retrograde phase... The last Quarter Moon in Aries becomes exact on Monday afternoon... On Wednesday evening, we have Mercury changing signs from Gemini to Cancer and Mars coming to a halt, ending its 2.5-month retrograde phase andlast but not least... On Friday, early in the morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins (bringing us closer to the next New Moon).

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday very early morning (for a little over 2 hours), Thursday evening (for almost 11.5 hours), and Saturday late evening (for a little over 9.5 hours).

Monday (June 27th) at 3:08am EDT, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. The energy of the Aries Moon bears on starting something new. Our gut impulses are strong; we feel energetic, spontaneous, enthusiastic and brave -- and perhaps impatient and impulsive.

Excess energy is best channeled into physical activity. This Moon placement starts the build up towards the last Quarter Moon, exact later in the day.

Monday at 7:10am EDT, Chiron comes to a halt in 25 degrees of Pisces. As you may recall from last week, Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, it brings our attention towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. This is the beginning of Chiron's 5-month retrograde phase, that lasts until Nov. 30th. Until then, we are getting a chance to connect to our wounds and insecurities on a more internal level.

We may need to put our emotional or spiritual wounds under the magnifying glass; while they are there, take a closer look at how you can bring compassion and understanding to them. What might you discover about those wounds, if you really looked? How could others benefit from your discoveries?

Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 23-27 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you will probably feel the effects of this station more than others.

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to get the recording of my recent Chiron-lecture: "Healing with Astrology" Click here for more info

Monday in the late morning, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:53am EDT.We started to feel this aspect from last Friday night on; it will be strong until this Wednesday night (June 29th). This aspect makes for a very creative and beautiful time; music, art, the movies and the theatre are in high demand. Spiritual endeavors are easily shared with others.

We connect to others in a compassionate, sweet, loving way; we are more likely to feel romantic. We might not have the best boundaries in place, when it comes to relationships, socializing or money... but we sure as hell know how to enjoy ourselves.

Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday in the early afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:25pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday night on; it will be strong until Tuesday night (June 28th). This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself -- and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) :-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 22-28 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

And lastly, Monday at 2:19pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 6.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact. The Moon in enthusiastic, fast-pasted Aries makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in introverted, feeling-oriented Cancer. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or transformation. This Moon phase brings us closer to the next New Moon (exact on July 4th).

During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon -- in this case, that would be June 4th -- as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-9 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Tuesday (June 28th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday very early morning for details)

Today (Tuesday) might be quite an electric, energetic (nervous) day for us. We may need to make some adjustments and think outside the box: Flexibility and adaptability is key today!

Wednesday (June 29th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 6:03am EDT (see Monday very early morning for details)

Wednesday at 3:46am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 2 hours, until 6:03am EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to go after your goals by connecting to others and sharing about yourself.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. If you are usually awake at this time, you may also want to plan your early morning ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday morning, at 6:03am EDT, the Moon movesinto steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Friday morning. With the Moon in Taurus, we are motivated by the desire for serenity, security, peace and comfort. The Moon is at her most sensual and constant in Taurus.

Our basic impulse is to relax, resist change, get comfortable: life… slows… down. We may also be stubborn and materialistic under this influence. As best as you can, stop and smell the roses during this time -- enjoy life and its offerings ;-)

Wednesday evening, at 7:24pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from curious, quick-witted Gemini into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until July 13th

When Mercury journeys through Cancer we prefer quality to quantity in terms of information. We think, speak, and take in information on a deeper, more instinctive level. We have less interest in the universal and more in the personal: what directly affects us and our loved ones? Our thoughts are colored by our emotions; it might be more challenging to be objective. Ask yourself: Is this really about me?

This is particularly true if you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo. You will feel a stronger need to connect to family or the people  in your life that feel familiar and safe. You may also feel the need to talk about the past and work through past conditionings. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you will be more chatty for this time period.

Also on Wednesday evening, at 7:38pm EDT, Mars comes to a halt at 23 degrees of Scorpio — changing directions after its 2.5 month retrograde phase. We were called to reassess all of our beliefs and deeper connections to ourselves and others -- and also to look at what we’ve been doing since mid February. What have you discovered since then? What needs renegotiating or readjusting?

We are now ready to move forward with anything that began between mid February and late June -- and we have plenty of energy to do what needs to be done.

Is your Sun sign or Ascendant in Aries? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius?  If so, you will be more affected by this station.

Thursday (June 30th): the Moon remainsin steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Wednesday morning for details).

Thursday at 8:19pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 11.5 hours, until 7:44am EDT (Friday morning). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between your need for material safety/physical "wants”, versus your desire for deep emotional connections to others — as best as you can, allow for both.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday evening and Friday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Thursday late evening, a Venus/Pluto opposition becomes exact at 11:32pm EDT. We started to feel this opposition from Tuesday on; it will be strong until Sunday morning. We are called to create a balance between our desire for harmony with people we care about, versus our desire to bring a deep focus and passionate approach to long-term commitments.

We can learn a lot about ourselves through relationships during this opposition. We may not always like what we see though: We may glimpse our "darker" side -- and it will be critical that we recognize it as our own "stuff", rather than projecting it onto a partner or family member. Sexual intensity or attraction can be a part of this transit too -- as can fear of losing loved ones or of being abandoned.

We have a deeply lodged need to establish a sense of self-worth at this time; we may start to argue or lay blame in order to feel better about ourselves. We need to be less concerned with how we "appear" to others and more with how we actually "are".

All of this could bring up deep feelings in connection with others. There also might be a tendency to confuse "Love" and "Power" right now; as best as you can, be true to yourself and come from an open heart, rather than a scared one.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 13-20 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries or Libra? If so, you may be more affected by this opposition. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Friday (July 1st): theMoon remainsin steady, peaceful Taurus and VoC until 7:55am EDT (see Wednesday morning and Thursday evening for details).

Friday very early morning, we enter the Balsamic Moon phase: this lasts until Monday morning, when the New Moon in Cancer becomes exact (…more on that next week). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions.

Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Friday morning at 7:44am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Sunday morning. The Gemini Moon keeps us social and busy. Interactions may take place online, on the phone, or face-to-face with those in our immediate environment. With this Moon placement, we like to multitask and stay engaged with life as much as possible: As long as we don't get bored, we're good.

Friday afternoon, an opportune Venus/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:18pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on and it will be strong until Sunday morning. We have an opportunity to grow in our social and personal relationships at this time. Humor and caring play a big role in our interactions with others.

We can call upon tolerance, optimism and co-operation when dealing with loved ones now. Financially speaking, things are "on the up"; we may have opportunities now to expand our pocketbooks -- if we make sounds decisions that are in the interest of the whole family.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Cancer, Virgo, Taurus or Scorpio? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Saturday (July 2nd): the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini all day (see Friday morning for details).

Saturday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:52am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Friday morning on; and it will be strong until Sunday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

We focus on the truth of the matter. We could be hindered by doubts, feelings of insecurity, a lack of self-confidence.

It’s also worthwhile to look at how our beliefs about life are connected to where we come from -- our roots. As best you can, slow down, but don’t come to a halt: Just because you're not sure about something, doesn’t mean it’s not worth taking a longer look -- in other words, don’t impatiently discard things when you’re unsure what to do about them.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 10-12 degrees of Cancer or SagittariusIf so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Saturday at 11:43pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 9.5 hours, until 9:20am EDT (Sunday morning). Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect with like-minded people, so you can share ideas with them -- especially around projects that would create a better future.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your evening and Sunday morning ahead of time ;-)

Sunday (July 3rd): the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini until 9:20am EDT (see Friday morning for details).

Sunday morning, a harmonious Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 7:01am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday evening on and it will be strong until Wednesday of next week. This aspect could be tremendously supportive when it comes to dissolving what no longer serves us.

We are feeling especially intuitive during this time. We are inspired, and charitable acts now will lift our spirits. We are more likely to see matters (and people) from a different perspective -- one that allows for differences and even finds beauty in them. Our capacity for compassion (both with ourselves and with others) is quite strong as well.

Creativity is at an all-time high, as our imagination runs in full gear; any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will do very well.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Sunday at 9:20am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, introverted Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday early afternoon. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say to (and about) us, so be kind to yourself and others. Emotional safety is important to us at this time: We like connecting to the familiar, home or family becomes our sanctuary.

Nurture yourself and others, but remember: Make sure your glass is filled before letting others drink from it — otherwise we might start resenting others for draining our energies.

Sunday is also the last day before the New Moon in Cancer becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

A head's up for next Monday (July 4th): the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Sunday morning for more details). The New Moon in almost 13 degree of Cancerbecomes exact at 7:01am EDT. A somewhat challenging Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 9:42pm EDT. We will started to feel this aspect from Monday morning on and it will be strong until Tuesday evening of next week. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Extra-Potent Times -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., June 20th - Sun., June 26th, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was even busier for me than the previous one -- I didn't think that was possible, but there it was ;-) I could also feel the Mars/Chiron trine last week -- I talked about this in great detail in my most recent Monthly Forecasting Forum. Feel free to purchase the recording of our live event

This week's headline items:The Full Moon in Sagittarius becomes exact on Monday morning (it's the second Full Moon in a single month); on Monday evening the Sun moves into Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere; Jupiter aligns with the North Node on Tuesday; the Mars and Chiron Station intensifies on Thursday; Mercury squares the Solar Eclipse degree from March 8th.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for 53 minutes), Wednesday early morning (for a little over 11 hours), Friday late morning (for a little over 10.5 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for a little over 11 hours).

Monday (June 20th) is quite the day! So much going on...the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until 7:55am EDT. New experiences and adventures satisfy a deep emotional need. The Sagittarius Moon persuades us to come from intuition and think in a broader manner. We seek meaning and ideas that expand upon the "here and now".

We pursue truth and a new vision -- the big picture, rather than the details. Spontaneity is key, we'd rather improvise than plan; this may tip into just "winging it". We could also overdo or overstate.

Monday at 7:02am EDT:theFull Moon in 29.5 degree of Sagittariusbecomes exact. This is the last degree before it moves into a new sign; this degree is usually "exalted", so we can expect to feel the Gemini-Sagittarian polarity quite strongly.

This is also the second Full Moon in Sagittarius within a single month, which intensifies the message of balance and integration between the Gemini-Sagittarius polarity. The last time we had two Full Moons in Sagittarius within one month was way back in May/June 1997. Think back to June 1997: Did you have a shift in perception? What changed then? What might need to change now?

Any Full Moon is a more extroverted and emotional time; this time around, we are being invited to remain open-minded and willing to learn -- it's about expanding our horizons. To learn more about this month's Full Moon, please click here to watch my video

For more about the Sagittarius-Gemini polarity, feel free to watch my previous Full Moon video

Venus (now in Cancer) is still aligned with the Sun in 29 degrees of Gemini, asking us to think about what is best aligned with our "feeling body". What do we need most from our relationships? How can we connect our thoughts with our feelings and with what we need most?

Ask yourself: What might I hear if I consciously listened to my "feeling body"? What might be possible, if I experimented with communicating to others what I need? What if there were a way to self-nurture and communicate at the same time?

Mercury (the ruler of Gemini) is in its own sign at the time of the Full Moon (and therefore exalted). It falls exactly into the "empty leg" of that ongoing T-square we talked about in my last New Moon video. We are definitely invited to remain curious, and focus on listening, as well as sharing.

Again, these planetary positions create a powerful Grand Cross, one that invites us to stretch (and grow) beyond what we currently believe ourselves to be, what we believe to be true, how we currently connect to our inner and outer dialogue, how we understand life, and how we apply ourselves in life!

Where do you tend to make assumptions? Where do you have rigid expectations? What might be possible if you listened 5% more intently than you normally would to your own thoughts and other peoples words?

Pretend for a moment that every thought matters and creates your reality... What if you "walked your talk"? Where are you still learning to embody your own deepest truths?

Neptune in Pisces, part of this Grand Cross, is now retrograde but still stationing (just as two weeks ago); its energy is still therefore exalted. Again, feel free to check out my last New Moon video on the subject.

Chiron, also in Pisces, and Mars in Scorpio areboth stationing at the time of the Full Moon -- and both energies are therefore exalted. Chiron is getting ready for a 5-month retrograde phase that begins on June 27th; Mars is getting ready to go direct on June 29th, after its 2 month retrograde.

The good news is that they are making a beautiful connection to each other at the time of their stations; between now and July 27th, this provides wonderful support for our healing process around our masculine energies. This is an opportunity to heal issues around anger, dominance, and pursuit that takes no heed of others and the planet.

Healing happens when we are able to embrace our own imperfections and limitations, and come to see them as valid, rather than as proof that we are "broken" or "wrong". Self-compassion and a greater understanding of our wound-history helps us embrace ourselves as we are; we can start to love ourselves because of our flaws, not in spite of them.

What if you just decided that you are perfect? That you are exactly where you need to be? What if you released any shame around being a sensitive, fearful human who has experienced loneliness and separation from a higher power? How might you show mercy and forgiveness towards yourself?

By now, a lot of you have probably heard about my recent lecture on Chiron, "Healing with Astrology". If you'd like to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, I encourage you to get the Mp3 recording; it includes many valuable handouts -- and you'll get a chance to do hands-on work with your own birth chart! Click here for more info

The Full Moon happens within 12 hours of the Summer Solstice becoming exact in the northern hemisphere. The twice-yearly Solstices are important turning points -- energetic gateways for the summer or winter season. Solstice Points are thus extra-potent times to set intentions and take part in ceremonies; the combination of the Full Moon means we'll be feeling a particularly potent energy field for the next two weeks.

We usually don't set intentions during a Full Moon cycle -- but this one is an exception -- feel free to set more intentions on June 20th around 6:30pm EDT (when the Sun enters Cancer -- see below) or tune into the ones you set two weeks ago at the time of the New Moon. While we're on the subject: What could you add to those two-week-old New Moon Intentions? What could you eliminate?

Here are some more questions you could ask yourself before setting your Solstice Intentions: What drains or distracts you from long-term goals? What is a single, simple practical step you could take, in order to feel more self-assured in your daily routines? What would "being of service" look like if it expanded? What if being of service were your greatest gift?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Sagittarius,Gemini, Virgo, Pisces or 0+1 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeo or Cancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Right as the Full Moon becomes exact (at 7:02am EDT), we also enter a 53-minute  Moon void of course (VoC).that ends with the Moon's entry into Capricornat 7:55am EDT. Use this intuitive time to take a break, tune into your thought processes and see where you would like to go next... As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

At 7:55am EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday afternoon. The Capricorn Moon emphasizes our need for structure and forward planning. We are motivated by a desire for success; achievement and manifestation are paramount.

We are resourceful, and pursue economy with time, energy, and other resources. We take things more seriously during Moon in Capricorn: we look reality in the eye. This can also be a very productive period. As best as you can, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off: try saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do"  ;-)

Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) is transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore our beliefs. It's also a great time to focus on the greater meaning of life and for going beyond conditioned thinking structures. As best as you can, be authentic about what you believe: Do your beliefs actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, not how it was 5 or 10 years ago?

Monday in the late morning, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 10:55am EDT. We started to feel this connection from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. This aspect might bring some misunderstandings or feelings of restriction. We may have a pessimistic attitude towards our lives and find ourselves in conflict with others on intellectual levels. In other words, we might experience communication problems.

It can appear that others are not especially sympathetic to our point of view. However, it is important that we examine how we are communicating with others and take responsibility for how our choice of words lands for others. As best as you can, find your inner balance so you can speak from a grounded, truthful place -- while remaining committed to what others expect of you.

We are also called to examine our thinking patterns for rigid or negative attitudes that have been holding us back. We are ridding ourselves of projects that no longer serve their purpose, learning to cut out the fluff so we can focus on the important. It's better right now to reassess and perfect our ideas, rather than present them -- that will come later. We are digging for truths now, and in the process, we might uncover some doubts.

Fact is, we are most likely harder on ourselves regarding our communication at this time. We also tend to worry about what others think of us. Getting objective feedback from others is key! We also may have a harder time wholeheartedly accepting compliments, while craving them. As best as you can, acknowledge others (and yourself) for being a good communicator, whether via writing or saying it out loud ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Monday afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:11pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow. We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity.

We might find it hard to follow directions and instructions at this time. Difficulties concentrating on hard, cold facts are likely; in fact, we may question facts altogether, or avoid getting pinned down on answers. As you can imagine, this is not the best time for signing any contracts. Perceptions can be confused, unrealistic, or too idealistic to carry weight in the real world; conversations may be vague.

As best as you can, during these 5 days, follow your heart -- and let yourself be guided by your artistic or spiritual side. If you can, put off hard decisions until the end of the week… and be compassionate with yourself and others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of  Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

And last but not least, Monday at 6:34pm EDT,the Sun changes signs from busy, versatile Gemini to protective, sensitive Cancer. As mentioned in the Full Moon section, this marks the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere: The Solstices are important turning points twice a year, as they are energetic gateways for the summer or winter season to come through.

The Sun will journey through the sign of Canceruntil July 22nd. When the Sun is in Cancer, we look for quality and safety in terms of what we want to create, and what we want to surround ourselves with. We experience life on a deeper, more instinctive level now. We have less interest in what is universal, and more interest in what affects us personally (and what affects the people we care for and love).

Our being is colored by our emotions, so it might be more challenging to be objective. Family, home and our inner world becomes our focus for the next 30 days.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Cancer, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your energy will move more inwards, focusing on family or your home.

Tuesday (June 21st): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Monday morning for details).

Today, Jupiter (the ruler of Sagittarius) aligns with the North Node for the second time this year -- in almost 16 degrees of Virgo. We have been feeling this alignment since June 10th and it will still feel quite strong until July 1st. This connections calls us to focus on being of service whenever we can.

When we learn to be honest, orderly, and attentive to details in new ways, we feel more fulfilled and satisfied with our daily routines/work. Taking a bigger view and allowing ourselves to apply practical and technical knowledge and skills in our daily lives will pay off; the same is true of any healthy and practical routines we develop.

We'll feel more alive and optimistic if we pursue mental clarity and focus, together with productivity systems that help us pay attention to deadlines, details -- and wholesome approaches.

It might be difficult to commit ourselves to any one thing, but we need to learn to trust our inner guide—our intuition—in order to uncover more meaning in our daily routines and work schedules. We need to let ourselves believe in something that enriches our daily lives and well-being, and have faith in the growth process of our day-to-day affairs and health issues.

What are some practical steps you could take to feel more self-assured in your daily routines? How can you expand "being of service" -- in small or large ways? What might be possible if we could went from "good or bad" to "what works and what doesn't"?

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius? If so, you will feel more influenced by this alignment. If you are a Virgo Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Jupiter and the North Node are in your sign, you will feel a strong need to grow. You'll also feel the need bring order, clarity and wholesome approaches to your daily routines. -- in fact, this is about setting a healthy example for others.

Wednesday (June 22nd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 4:08pm EDT (see Monday morning for details).

Wednesday at 4:57am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 11 hours, until 4:08pm EDT. As best as you can, remain flexible, and follow your intuition. Make room for accomplishing things in a practical, step-by-step manner, while allowing for expression of your own individual flavors.

As best as you can, make any necessary adjustments, and keep breathing. Stay away from "shoulding" on yourself and from overly aggressive behavior. As always with the Moon VoC, plan your day ahead of time, or simply stick to routine things… this very well could be a productive day, especially if you plan ahead… and of course, go with the flow, as much as possible ;-)

Wednesday at 4:08pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Friday late evening. The energy of the Aquarian Moon relates to our instinct for improvement. Reactions are more intellectual than emotional; interactions more impersonal than personal. We are likely to have an increased fascination with the new and unusual.

Social gatherings, anything connected with group ideals and goals for the future, brainstorming, new ideas and methods, progress: all these are promoted during the time the Moon moves through Aquarius. Again: we have our eyes on the future -- or on outer space :-) Personal freedom becomes paramount.

Wednesday evening, a challenging Mercury/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 6:59pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday night on; it will be strong until Friday. This aspect asks that we grow and evolve in the following areas: how we communicate and what we share. We may have to find creative solutions to communicate; we may have to learn about our thinking process and conditioning.

We want to share our ideas without limitations. We are thus inclined to exaggeration, often unintended -- and we might have a hard time putting our ideas into practice. The upside to all this: we can be extraordinarily funny, interesting and creative.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-19 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Pisces or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius).

Thursday (June 23rd):the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Thursday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 1:39am EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Wednesday morning on; it will be strong until Thursday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Our compulsive side may lead us down a path that evades rational understanding. Our judgments -- of circumstances, ourselves, others -- can be so extreme that we aren't able to make intelligent and consistent progress in our life right now.

As best as you can, strive to be more trusting and less strict with yourself for these two days. Surrender to whatever you are experiencing right now: It is temporary ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-18 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Also on Thursday: Mars and Chiron's Station intensify today. Chiron in Pisces is getting ready to start its 5-month retrograde phase on June 27th, while Mars in Scorpio is getting ready to go direct again (on June 29th), after being retrograde for 2.5 months.

We will feel the effects of the Chiron stationuntil July 6th.Chiron's energies are more exalted during this period, we might therefore see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to "make it on our own".

We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.

What emotional or spiritual sore spots could you acknowledge? What needs to heal? For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, I encourage you to get the recording of my recent Chiron-lecture: "Healing with Astrology" Click here for more info

Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC or MC) in 23-27 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius will feel this station more strongly.

Mars's station will last until July 6th as well. Mars represents our assertiveness, independence and “male” energy Also: new initiatives, going after one's goals, physical actions.

During the station, these energies will be "in our face" -- we become more aware of them, but we’re not necessarily able to do anything about them yet. This may be bring up frustration or even outright anger. With Mars in Scorpio, we may express our anger with extreme force, whether that expression is turned inward or outward.

Ask yourself: What am I most afraid of, in regards to experiencing true intimacy? What single action step could I take right now to empower myself and others? What might be possible if I embraced all of me -- my light and my darkness? What role does (dis)trust play in my interactions with others?

Is your Sun sign or Ascendant in Aries? Or do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will feel a stronger connection to this Mars station.

We also talked about both of those stations in great detail during the last Forecasting Forum. Click here to purchase the recording of the live event ;-)

Friday (June 24th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 10:30pm EDT (see Wednesday afternoon for details).

Friday morning: Mercury squares the degree of the Solar Eclipse that occurred back on March 8th. This is asking us to pay attention to our communications: not just what we share with others, but also our own inner dialog. What messages are you receiving today? What do they mean to you? What are you ready to change?

Friday at 11:48am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 10.5 hours, until 10:30pm EDT. Take this intuitive time as an opportunity to connect to your vision for yourself and humanity. Networking or group causes might be of particular interest.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)

Friday at 10:30pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Monday very early morning. The energy of the Pisces Moon bears on the need for connection to our higher selves. It can be a wistful, sensitive and compassionate time; we are especially imaginative, and our intuition reigns.

Boundaries and walls come down; we feel energetically connected to everything around us. As best as you can, therefore, be kind to yourself and others -- surround yourself with loving energy. It's a time best used for spiritual or creative endeavors and for dissolving our fears and doubts. Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them ;-)

Saturday (June 25th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Saturday is great day for any spiritual or creative endeavors; especially until the late afternoon. As best as you can, let it all flow and go as it needs to... situations, feelings, ideas, thoughts… the more it flows, the better ;-) Intuition is very strong right now, so let yourself be guided by your inner sensing and knowing -- it won’t steer you wrong.

A long-term, harmonious Jupiter/Pluto aspect becomes exact tomorrow (Sunday) at 8:30am EDT -- I mention it in Saturday's section because we will already be feeling it quite strongly. We started to feel this aspect from May 31st on; it will remain strong until July 14th. It's an invitation to hone in on how to solve problems and get where we want to go. Our career (life path) will undergo a degree of change or transformation. We lose interest in the inessential.

The more faith we have in ourselves, the more others will too, and the more likely things will work out, since everyone expects them to. Authenticity is important here. Positive attitude, in combination with passion and focused intent, makes for a winning formula.

Empowerment is the key word: As best as you can, make the most of your renewed vigor and intensity by empowering yourself and others, especially at work and in regards to your social standing. During this aspect, we can move mountains...

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-20 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius or Scorpio (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Sunday (June 26th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Friday late evening for details).

Sunday late morning, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:15am EDT. We've been feeling this aspect since Saturday night; it will be strong until later tonight. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

We may have big ideas under this influence... and overestimate our abilities or underestimate the situation. Avoid jumping in too fast and over-promising; check the details.

What we do, think and say are not necessarily in harmony; what's more, instead of listening to others, we tend to interrupt and assume. This is probably not a good day to make important decisions ;-)

Awareness is key with this aspect: What demands to be done? How? How fast? Could you allow yourself to process new information quickly, without needing to act on it right away?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 22-24 degrees of Gemini orScorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars of Aries).

Sunday at 3:55pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 11 hours, until 3:08am EDT (Monday very early morning). We are pulled in two quite different directions: A desire for silence, emotional oneness, and creativity flowing through us — versus a desire for “busyness” generated by sharing and communicating.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always during VoC, take it easy -- just go with the flow, rather than starting anything brand-new. You may also want to plan Sunday late afternoon/evening ahead of time ;-)

Sunday late evening, an opportune Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 10:31pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday night on; it will be strong until Monday night (June 27th).This brings an opportunity for insight and novelty. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to realize it.

This aspect also brings an opportunity to see things from a different perspective, or to put a new spin on our "old" thinking structure. We like to connect in unusual ways and any group activities or brainstorming with like-minded people could generate amazing insights -- this might be a busy day. As best as you can -- and as much as you want to -- stay open to other dimensions ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-26 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Virgo and Gemini; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Lastly, also on Sunday late evening, a somewhat challenging Venus/Saturn aspect, becomes exact at 11pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday morning on; it will be strong until Monday evening (June 27th). This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

It's hard to see what we are actually responsible for in relationships, so we sometimes take on unnecessary responsibilities, to ensure the relationships continue. We may ask ourselves: "Do people like me for myself, or for what I do for them?" If you're confused on this point (or any point): as best as you can, keep choosing the "better" alternative, adjusting as necessary.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-13 degrees of Cancer or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

A head's up for next Monday (June 27th): At 3:08am EDT, the Moon enters pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. At 7:10am EDT, Chiron comes to a halt in 25 degrees of Pisces, starting its 5-month retrograde phase. In the late morning, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:53am EDT.We started to feel this aspect from Friday night on; it will be strong until Wednesday night (June 29th)

In the early afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 12:25pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday night on; it will be strong until Tuesday night (June 28th). And lastly, at 2:19pm EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 6.5 degrees of Ariesbecomes exact.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Last week was full of ups and downs (and some lefts and rights too) -- just a very energetic week, with lots going on, lots being accomplished (maybe less so in the sleeping department ;-) This is definitely pointing to the Grand Cross in the mutable signs that I talked about in my last New Moon video.

Before we get started I would like to make one quick announcement:
This week Thursday, we will have our Monthly Forecasting Forum! Don't miss it! In the upcoming Forum, we will talk about the second Full Moon in Sagittarius within a single month, the Chiron Station and Retrograde phase, and Mars going direct again. This week's headline items: Neptune comes to a halt on Monday afternoon; Venus changes signs from Gemini to Cancer on Friday afternoon; Mars starts to slow down (aka "station") on Saturday, as it's getting ready to go direct again; Chiron starts to station on Sunday, getting ready for its 5-month retrograde phase.

There will only be two Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday very early morning (for a little over 6 hours), and Friday late morning (for almost 12 hours).

Monday (June 13th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libraall day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning. The energy of the Libra Moon wants to maintain equal relationships: we thus tend to spend more time on diplomacy -- making compromises, negotiating, practicing graciousness, balancing, etc.

We can better set aside our emotions, to achieve the peace we desire; the shadow side of this is a tendency to avoid direct confrontations. We see both sides -- and may also fear loss of approval -- so we can't decide. As best as you can, find your inner balance with this... and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm.

Monday late morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:39am EDT. We started to feel this from Sunday on; itwill be strong until Tuesday. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.

This might concern compromising with others. Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others. Our values may not be in alignment with those we work with. As best as you can, keep choosing the "better" alternative, adjusting as needed.

When life slows down, or becomes uncomfortable, simplify and be patient. We are changing and growing in ways that we can't comprehend right now. Stay as open and observant as you can.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Gemini or Scorpio? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus rules Taurus and Libra; Mars rules Aries)

Monday at 4:43pm EDT, Neptune comes to a halt in 12 degrees of Pisces beginning a 5-month retrograde phase. Until this ends on Nov. 19th, we are invited to access Neptunian energy from within: Our intuition will be very strong during this time.

We can see how connected we are to our Higher Self/The Universe/Source. What's more, we have an opportunity to dissolve any barriers between us and our Soul's guidance. Are we sensing our Soul's desire for love and oneness to the fullest? Are we connecting to our intuition? Is anything keeping us from experiencing the flow of life?

Some of us will feel the effects more than others. This is particularly true if you have personal planets in 8-13 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius -- and if you have Pisces as your Sun- or Rising-Sign. For you in particular, this is a great time to reevaluate your connection to Source -- and perhaps to allow yourself to connect more fully to the flow of life.

Monday late afternoon, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:15pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday night. This aspect may block our full experience of intimacy. It asks us to stretch past injuries and insecurities in our relationships, self-worth and finances.

If we can bring compassion and a different point of view to these issues, we will reach a new understanding of ourselves and our life journey.

We have the opportunity to learn from one another; ironically though, social insecurities can be magnified at this time. Whenever Chiron is involved, we are being asked to do some healing work: Use this time to learn about your sore spots. Nobody’s perfect; we all have our flaws and idiosyncrasies. It's ok.

If you get triggered, do your best to see where this trigger originated -- perhaps in your childhood? Bring love and compassion to yourself as you are and as you were. Allow any feelings this may stir up in you. A feeling is just energy that wants to be experienced, that wants to move through us and out; the more we resist our feelings, the more we keep them spinning in place.

As best as you can, move from the head to the heart. What might shift, if you had 5% more compassion with yourself and others? What if you just decided to have faith in the healing process?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 22-28 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Sagittarius or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

Tuesday (June 14th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday for more details).

Tuesday early morning, an opportune Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:53am EDT. We started to feel this from last Saturday night on; itwill be strong until this Wednesday night. We have the opportunity to become aware of an original or unique approach to life. Flexibility is the key to success at this time; pleasant changes may be in store -- certainly unexpected ones ;-)

What is your uniqueness? How could you express that proudly and authentically? As best as you can, watch out for messages from the Universe! Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us: We have to "realize" it.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-26 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 1:31am EDT. We started to feel this from Tuesday morning on; itwill be strong until Thursday evening. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward; we need to make a choice. We need to develop inner awareness, so we can make adjustments.

This might concern compromising with others. Our enthusiasm might make us impatient or hasty with others.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars rules Aries)

Wednesday (June 15th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 9:18am EDT (see Monday for details).

Wednesday at 3am EDT,we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 6 hours until 9:18am EDT. Use this intuitive time to enjoy exchanging valuable information with others. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your morning ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday at 9:18am EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday evening. We feel emotions on a deeply personal level. We are motivated by the desire to get to the bottom of things -- superficiality won't work for us now -- and we instinctively read between the lines.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power; it's an excellent time to rid ourselves of old fears and limiting habits. This tends to be an emotionally colored, all-or-nothing, black or white experience -- it can therefore be an intimate, passionate time.

As best as you can, avoid manipulation, brooding and suspicion; instead, open to the wealth of your innermost feelings -- decide to go deeper, allowing all feelings to surface, if they need to. Embrace all of who you are. Know thyself, love thyself and you shall be set free.

Remember: a deep love of all that we are will connect us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and is ultimately what disempowers ourselves and others.

Wednesday late afternoon, a challenging Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 5:36pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on, it will be strong until this Saturday. This asks us to stretch ourselves and expand from within. We might feel less confident about who we are, and have a hard time projecting a social "front". Our conditioned mind and wounded feelings may be out of harmony with each other.

As best as you can, take this as an opportunity to make space for feeling vulnerable or emotional without seeing yourself as weak or "less than". It is perfectly ok to have feelings and feel insecure once in a while; as best as you can, bring compassion and love to yourself and others. After all, we are all human…

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 22-28 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this aspect more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Thursday (June 16th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Wednesday morning for details).

Thursday starts out promisingly: Moon trines Neptune, which makes for a go-with-the-flow kind of a morning -- but unlike with a  Moon Void of Course, everything just seems to flow beautifully. Expect lots of authentic feelings and intuitive knowingness -- we have the ability to connect with others compassionately and empathetically -- we are also likely being more forgiving with ourselves and others.

In the afternoon/evening, the Moon sextiles Jupiter and Pluto, providing an opportunity to go deeper, and get clear on where we "stand in service". We also have an opportunity to be fully committed to a project or task and have an adventure exploring all the details. As best as you can, use this time to follow through on projects that began before Mars and Pluto started their retrograde phases, in mid-April.

Friday (June 17th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 9:34pm EDT (see Wednesday morning for details).

Friday at 9:52am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 12 hours, until 9:34pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect with others (and with yourself) on a deep emotional level. What do you feel most passionate about today? How could you share this passion with others?

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan the second half of Friday ahead of time ;-)

Friday at 3:39pm EDT, Venus changes signs from versatile, chatty & curious Gemini to protective, home & family-oriented Cancer. It will journey here until July 11th/12th; for the next 3.5 weeks, we value the following: family, loved ones, our home, emotional safety and real-estate dealings.

We prefer to be around safe, familiar people and places. We'd rather stay home than socialize; if we do go out, we much prefer dinner parties at someone's home to dining out. When it comes to love, be gentle with each other -- and make sure to talk about your feelings.

With regards to our finances, it's best to stick to what feels safest and most secure. It's a favorable time for real-estate and interior design, or anything that makes the home more comfortable and livable.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more shy for the next 3.5 weeks. Your heart will want to connect to family and loved ones. If you are a Cancer Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to have more love and beauty in your life, for as long as Venus is in your sign ;-)

Friday at 9:34pm EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, whereit will journey until Monday morning.

This Moon placement also starts the built-up towards the second Full Moon in Sagittarius within a month, exact on Monday morning (June 20th). More on that next week….

Friday late evening, a long-lasting, challenging Saturn/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:29pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect around May 10th; it will be strong until Oct. 13th. There is a restlessness in the air...

This aspect asks us to stretch and grow, to resolve a tension: On the one hand we want our perception of life to be realistic and have a need for big accomplishments; on the other hand, we need to trust divine timing -- we feel compelled to listen to our intuition and let our heart guide us.

Ideally, this aspect leads to a realignment of our long-term goals and spiritual ideals, as we assess what is truly meaningful to us. Restrictions may seem to block our plans. We could feel a sudden lack of inspiration. We might be forced to face issues we've been avoiding or putting off. These could include addictions and other behaviors that have left us feeling de-energized.

Another important facet of this aspect is taking responsibility for our own perceptions and attitudes, rather than blindly following others and buying their beliefs wholesale.

It could become harder to trust in our interconnectedness with everything. It's important for us to focus on authentic attitudes and learn to take it one day at a time. How can we feel more "oneness"? Could you trust your heart, even when life throws a curveball? What if we accept new truths into our hearts, "just because"?

We experienced this aspect once before, in November/December of last year; think back to that time: what has shifted within you since then? How are you approaching life in different way?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-15 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces or Capricorn (Neptune is the ruler of Pisces; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)

Saturday (June 18th): the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday evening for details).

Saturday, Mars starts to slow down (station) in 23 degrees of Scorpio, in preparation to go direct again on June 29th (after its 2.5 months retrograde phase). This station will last until July 6th.

Sunday (June 19th): the Moon remains inoptimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday evening for details).

Sunday very early morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 1:55am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on;given that Mars is stationing, it will be strong until July 18th. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed in order to see what needs adjusting.

We may want something different than the rest of society; this in itself is neutral. That said, frustrations could arise, because the way we express our unique desires goes against the expectations of others; in other words, our methods don't necessarily achieve our goals. Going for "quick wins" will require for us to start over -- as best as you can, hold to a course of action for a little longer than may be comfortable.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-26 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius ).

Also on Sunday: Chiron starts to slow down (station) in 25 degrees of Pisces, as it gets ready for its 5-month retrograde phase. The retrograde begins on June 27th; we will feel effects of the station until July 6thChiron's energies are more exalted during this period, we might therefore see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

A head's up for next Monday (June 20th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 7:55am EDT (see Friday evening for details). At 7:02am EDT, the second Full Moon in Sagittarius within a single month becomes exact. To learn more about this Full Moon, click here to watch my video.

A 53-minute Moon VoC phase begins at 7:02am EDT and ends with the Moon's entry into Capricornat 7:55am EDT. In the late morning, a Mercury/Saturn opposition becomes exact at 10:55am EDT. A challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:11pm EDT; and at 6:34pm EDT, the Sun moves into Cancer, marking the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Higher and Lower Vibrations -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., June 6th - Sun., June 12th, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week started out mellow -- in part because of the holiday we had here in the US -- as the week went on, I could still feel a lot of aggression, impatience and anger within myself and others... this was especially true last Tuesday and Wednesday, when the Moon was in Aries.

I've also been noticing that people jump very quickly to making accusations and seem to have extreme reactions to things in general -- this is surely connected to the Grand Cross in the mutable signs, together with the Mars retrograde. Maybe Neptune's involvement explains the irrationality I keep coming across?

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to listen to the recording of my recent Chiron-lecture: "Healing with Astrology" Click here for more info

This week's headline items: The Neptune station intensifies on Monday. Mercury's shadow phase ends on Tuesday, the first Quarter Moon in Virgo becomes exact on Sunday early morning, and Mercury changes signs from Taurus to Gemini on Sunday evening.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday evening (for 6.5 hours), Friday very early morning (for 6.5 hours), and Sunday late morning (for almost 10 hours).

Monday (June 6th): the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day. It will journey there until Wednesday very early morning.

Up until 11pm EDT today (Monday), there is still time for you to set your New Moon intentions, if you haven't already done so. Click here to also watch my latest New Moon video; it will help you align your intentions with the New Moon energies.

For more info on how to best set your New Moon Intentions every month, click here to read my article on the subject.

Monday, in the late afternoon, a Sun/Venus alignment in almost 17 degrees of Gemini becomes exact at 5:39pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from May 28th on; it will be strong until June 14th (next week Tuesday). We are motivated to strike a balance in our relationships and our environment. If you have negotiations going on at this time, it’s very likely they will go smoothly.

Graciousness, diplomacy, charm, and a healthy dose of communication: This is a good period for social affairs, pleasure, amusement, and romance, especially if it's about sharing yourself or something connected to teaching and learning.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 5-24 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Venus rules Taurus and Libra)

Also on Monday, the Neptune station intensifies.Neptune will appear to move more slowly through the sky until June 21st. It is getting ready to start its 5-month retrograde on June 13th.

A planet's energies are more exalted during it's "station period"; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Piscesits own sign.

We become more aware of both the higher and lower vibrations of Neptune. The higher vibrations include compassion, intuition, creativity, forgiveness, acceptance, empathy, idealism, imagination, sacrificing something for a universal cause, being connected to all there is, and being present in the here and now.

The lower vibrations include feeling alone/separate, being lost in fantasy, confusion, non-realism, being addiction-prone, stuck in victim-behaviors or victim-thinking, suffering for others/or sacrificing ourselves for others so as to get love/empathy from them, wishing it were otherwise, wanting to escape reality, wanting to be saved, and so on.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn't involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets and points in 10-14 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Tuesday (June 7th): the Moon remains in protective, introverted Cancer all day (see Monday for more details).

Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, the Venus/Sun alignment in Gemini makes a somewhat challenging aspect to Pluto (exact at 12:13am EDT). We started feeling this aspect from Monday morning on; it will be strong until Tuesday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Fear of disappointment and of others is causing some tension. Our inner need for growth requires us to be honest about what is causing our fears -- most likely our lack of good boundaries and self-esteem.

We easily might get pulled into overly burdensome roles in other people's lives, because we feel it is required of us. Careful examination of our routines and how we feel about ourselves is necessary, if we are to free our ability to love, develop and grow. This could potentially create a deep inner healing.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-18 degrees of Gemini or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, Leo or Scorpio (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Leo rules the Sun; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Tuesday morning, the Venus/Sun conjunction in Gemini squares the Moon Nodes in Pisces and Virgo. We started feeling this aspect build from June 5th on; it will be strong until this Thursday (June 9th). This marks a turning point in our journey towards a greater understanding of equality, fairness and collaboration. We become more aware of where we need to be more sensitive or patient, where we need to trust the process of co-creating with the universe.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this transit. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra, or Leo (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Leo rules the Sun)

Tuesday at 8:18pm EDT, we enter a 6.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 2:47am EDT (Wednesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to connect with loved ones on a deep emotional level. Enjoy the ability to be emotionally authentic and caring.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Tuesday evening/night ahead of time ;-)

Last but not least for Tuesday: Mercury (the planet of communication) leaves it's retrograde shadow today, so we are fully able to engage in new conversations and process new information.

We are also now "cleared" to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items  -- especially items that are connected to transportation (cars, flight tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, i-pad, etc.) To read more about Mercury's shadow phase, click here

Wednesday (June 8th) at 2:47am EDT, the Moon moves into extroverted, fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Friday morning. We have a chance to appreciate ourselves and our lives -- and to connect to the heart. Hand out as many compliments as possible, they will be deeply appreciated :-)

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you squeak just thinking about it?

Wednesday mid afternoon, Venus squares the degree of the Solar Eclipse that occurred back on March 8th. This is asking us to pay attention to our relationships: not just the relationships we have with others, but also our own "relationship with ourselves". What messages are you receiving today? What do they mean to you?

Wednesday evening, an opportune Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:55pm EDT. We started to feel this from Tuesday morning on; it will be strong until Friday evening. It's an opportunity to bring healing to our wounds around relationships or our sense of self-worth.

We get a chance to love ourselves and heal deep fears of not being "good enough". Healing happens much faster when we can open to forgiving ourselves and others. As best as you can, bring compassion and understanding to yourself, to others, and to those past experiences that wounded you.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-27 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra)

Thursday (June 9th): the Moon remains in fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo all day (see Wednesday very early morning for details).

Thursday early morning, the Sun squares the degree of the Solar Eclipse that occurred back on March 8th. Watch for important insights and developments today: It’s a turning point that brings more clarity to what is needed next.

Thursday early afternoon, a Mercury/Mars opposition becomes exact at 1:01pm EDT. We started feeling it build from Tuesday morning on -- and it will be strong until Sunday morning. This aspectbrings some juicy energy to our conversations and a chance to have some overdue discussions. We may not see eye to eye; diplomacy might be required.

As best as you can, make it a productive discussion that serves you and others -- a win-win -- otherwise you might feel really awful afterwards. Also, watch out on the road for some crazy drivers… rushing might not necessarily get you there faster ;-)

Think back to mid July, 2015,when Mercury was conjunct Mars in Cancer. With Mercury opposing Mars now, we can start to see the fruits of the seeds that were planted back then. So: What were the seeds? What are the fruits?

In other words: What has emerged since last July, in regards to household projects, family, or self-care? You are also now more aware of what you have (and haven't) learned since then... Do you like what you see? Is there room for more integration in this area too?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 23-29 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Friday (June 10th): the Moon remains in fun-loving, attention-seeking Leo until 9:46am EDT (see Wednesday very early morning for details).

Friday early morning at 3:14am EDT we enter a 6.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:46am EDT. Use this intuitive time to make some adjustments and (as best as you can) and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations. Make space for communicating your value in the world and also for taking care of your “inner child”.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday morning ahead of time ;-)

Friday at 9:46am EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Sunday evening. This turns our focus toward practical activities. Solving problems, making order out of confusion, helping others: all bring emotional satisfaction.

Health might come into focus. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.), align with our long-term goals. This also starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Sunday early morning).

Saturday (June 11th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Friday morning for details).

We are really starting to feel the buildup toward Sunday’s first Quarter Moon. Until then, a lot can be accomplished, especially with the Moon in Virgo making a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn this evening (Saturday).

Virgo and Capricorn are both earth signs, so we are able to get down to business and focus on the task at hand. If you haven’t done your Spring cleaning yet, this might be the day to do it. Remember to seek a balance between head and heart.

Sunday (June 12th) is a big day! The Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 8:33pm EDT (see Friday morning for details).

Sunday early morning at 4:10am EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 22 degrees of Virgo becomes exact. The Moon in detail-oriented, helpful and practical Virgo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in chatty, fast-thinking and busy Gemini

We feel compelled to take action. Last week saw the New Moon, on June 4th. "seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day dealings with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 20-24 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Sunday morning, a harmonious Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 7:10am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from June 2nd on; anddue to Mars's retrograde phase and station phase, it will be strong until July 27th. This gives us a chance to learn to accept our own desires and feelings of anger as valid -- so that when we do express them, we express them naturally and with confidence.

How can you bring understanding towards your feelings of anger and your assertiveness? How can you embrace and honor your desires?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Cancer, Pisces or Scorpio? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Sunday at 10:47am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 10 hours, until  8:33pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to take care of daily routines connected to partnerships and finances. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday (late morning until Sunday evening) ahead of time ;-)

Sunday later morning, an opportune Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 11:13am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday on; it will be strong until Monday evening of next week. This gives us the opportunity to experiment with how we relate to others -- to do something different or unusual -- freedom plays a big part in this aspect.

Of course, others are experimenting too, so you might experience some unusual or unexpected interactions during this time -- it's a favorable time for social meetings and events. As best as you can, stay open and flexible: fresh air is blowing through your relationships.

We're also ready to experiment with our financial undertakings. Energetic matches with this aspect would be: all things "tech" (electronics, technology, internet); metaphysics; the arts; group activities. This is not the best time to make long-term financial investments, unless you had a flash of inspiration that came form a “higher” place ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-25 degrees of Gemini, Aries, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Venus's movements and aspects; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Sunday evening at 7:22pm EDT, Mercury changes signs from steady, slow-paced Taurus to curious, quick-witted Gemini, where it will journey until June 29th. For the next 2.5 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: Mercury -- the energy of communication -- will pick up the pace of our lives just a little.

Our mental exchanges and abilities are going to have priority for the next two weeks: talking, writing, keeping a finger on the pulse of all that's happening ... This is a time of study and learning, a cycle of mental challenge, curiosity, and social/intellectual growth.

Make sure you don't exhaust yourself during this time. As best as you can, keep taking breaks and let yourself see the larger picture now and again. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel the pick up in pace more strongly.

Sunday at 8:33pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Wednesday morning of next week.

A head's up for next Monday (June 13th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libraall day (see Sunday evening for details).Inlate morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 11:39am EDT. We started to feel this from Sunday on; itwill be strong until Tuesday of next week. At 4:43pm EDT, Neptune comes to a halt in 12 degrees of Pisces beginning a 5-month retrograde phase. In the late afternoon, a challenging Venus/Chiron aspectbecomes exact at 5:15pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Wednesday night of next weekMore about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
