Feeling Perky and Alive -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Sept. 26th - Sun., Oct. 2nd, 2016

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week, my life required lots of adjustments and flexibility -- of course, with Mercury and Pluto stationing, plus all those T-squares in mutable signs... what else should I expect ;-)

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to get the recording of my recent Chiron-workshop: "Healing with Astrology" Click here for more info

This week's headline items: Pluto comes to a halt, late on Monday late morning, and starts to move forward again after a 5-month retrograde. Early on Tuesday morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins and Mars changes signs (from Sagittarius to Capricorn). The New Moon in Libra becomes exact on Friday evening; this also signifies the end of Eclipse season.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for almost 13 hours), Thursday morning (for almost 22 hours), and Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (for 14 hours).

Monday (September 26th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day. It will journey there until Tuesday afternoon. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising.

We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-) So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can.

Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones. If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it?

Monday early morning,a Sun/Jupiter alignment in 3.5 degrees of Librabecomes exact at 3am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Thursday on; it will be strong until this Wednesday. Ego gratification is the theme of this transit. This is the start of a "new you" with more confidence and faith. We have a chance to create a world of adventure and personal growth. We feel optimistic -- and that helps us attract positive circumstances.

If you've been thinking about launching a new long-term project, this would be an excellent time to do so; this is especially true for projects  connected to the Libra energy -- anything involving fairness, partnerships, legal matters or mediation, diplomacy, balanced life-styles, culture and education. You may well feel more vital, confident, and optimistic when it comes to those projects. That said, eclipse season ends on Friday, so wait until after then for the actual launch ;-)

This is a good time to resolve conflicts, especially within our one-on-one relationships. Events may give our ego a boost, and we could be feeling quite perky and "alive". Take advantage of this by promoting yourself or putting yourself "out there".

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 0-7 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeo or Sagittarius(the Sun rules Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius).

Monday at 11:01am EDT, Pluto comes to a halt in almost 15 degrees of Capricorn;going direct, after completing its 5-month retrograde phase (April 18th - Sept. 26th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until Oct. 6th.

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct.6th).

During the retrograde phase, we had a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within -- and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.

For the last 5 months, we've needed to tap into inner authenticity, embracing all of ourselves: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now we can bring this inner authenticity to the outer world: We are ready to let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that were holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.

Whatever we have intuitively learned about our inner passion, inner strength and Soul's purpose, we are now ready to bring to the outside world. This deeper connection is going to serve us in our journey towards authenticity. We can now build long-term goals that are in alignment with our Soul's purpose. Ask yourself: What do I "just know", deep down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so,  you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Tuesday (Sept. 27th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 5:43pm EDT.

Tuesday at 4:07am EDT, Mars changes signs from optimistic, adventurousSagittarius to realistic, prestige-and-accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Nov. 9th. For those 6 weeks, we tend to feel more determined, goal-oriented and focused. We are not afraid to work hard on attainable goals, so that we can see tangible results.

Our drive to succeed is quite strong, especially when we feel a need for physical and material security — that is, in the realm of all that can be seen and held. Our self-control tends to be quite strong around the expression of "drives" -- things like anger, energy, ambition and sexuality -- in fact, with Mars in Capricorn we are at our least impulsive, with a powerful need to stay in control.

Because we have such a strong sense of responsibility, we need to be careful not to start using work to hide from others. Anger can easily get channelled into our work as well. As best as you can, be kind to yourself, remember we all do the best we can; there is no need for extra pressure.

If you have an Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign, you are going to feel more focused and determent. You may want to get down to business. If you are a Capricorn Sun-sign or Rising sign, you will feel quite energized for the next 6 weeks. Channeling this energy into physical exercise or a project might be advisable.

Tuesday at 4:52am EDT, we enter a 13-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 5:43pm EDT. Being social will come easy during this intuitive time, so have fun connecting with others, and do things that bring you joy. This is a great time to express ourselves fully, as we feel brave and confident.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan the day ahead of time ;-)

Also, on Tuesday morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins. This lasts until Friday evening, when the New Moon in Libra becomes exact (…more on that later this week). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.

For some of us, this might be a stretch, especially since we are still in Eclipse season. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us.

What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday at 5:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Saturday early afternoon, turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Wednesday (Sept. 28th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late afternoon for details).

Wednesday late morning: seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.

Wednesday afternoon: we are being asked to stretch and grow -- to undertake a process of maturation that demands we make adjustments and stay flexible. Rigidity or "pushing" doesn't always get us what we want: Sometimes, it’s better to go one step at a time -- that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Wednesday evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.

Thursday (Sept. 29th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Tuesday late afternoon for details).

Thursday at 6:05am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 22 hours, until 3:52am EDT (Friday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to discuss practical issues or ways to gain clarity around your daily (or work) routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Thursday ahead of time ;-)

On Thursday late morning we may need to forgive ourselves and others for being human. What if making mistakes (or being less than perfect) was the best thing that ever happened to any of us?

Thursday afternoon: we feel uneasy about something, sort of "awkward" -- and we need to make a choice -- this requires we develop our inner awareness, so we can see what needs adjusting. It's also time to reevaluate the way we imprison ourselves in mindless routines and then rebel against them. While "different" is not always "improved", change is essential to our evolutionary process.

Friday (Sept. 30th) at 3:52am EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Sunday afternoon. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Friday at 8:11pm EDT: the Moon aligns with the Sun in 8 degrees of Libra, beginning a new Moon cycle, and officially ending Eclipse season.

The New Moon is an introverted time -- we go within, to see what we wish to align ourselves with for the next Moon cycle. With the New Moon in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, we seek win-win situations, fair exchanges with others, and harmony in relationships. This is a great time to begin a new project that calls for diplomacy, negotiation, or relationship skills.

Here are some useful questions to ask yourself for this new Moon cycle: Where is the balance point? What if harmony and peace were mine to create?

The Libra energy encourages us to see both sides of a situation and find a middle path (or better yet: a win-win). In order to reconcile opposite energies, we need to engage heart and mind, and seek the highest and best outcome for everyone involved -- in other words, we need to see everyone as equally deserving -- including ourselves.

As best as we can, we need to seek mutually beneficial relationships without compromising our essentials selves, values and goals. What does interconnectedness mean to you? How is it different from co-dependency? Here's a thought: what if, the more we can approve of ourselves, the easier it would get to create relationships that honor both parties equally?

The New Moon aligns with Jupiter in Libraasking us to shift our perception about how we relate to others, ourselves, and the world. What do we believe about relationships? Who are we "being" in our relationships?

How can we create a balance between our inner masculine & feminine (active and receptive)? What do we love or hate about others? How do we relate to those traits as they are present in ourselves? Feel free to watch also my video about Jupiter in Libra

Venus (ruler of Libra) is in a Scorpio. Venus connects us to our heart chakra; in this particular placement, it invites us to go deeper and connect more authentically to our emotional body, especially when it comes to connecting with others.

Superficiality is not an option with this placement. We are interested in digging deeper into understanding our motivations for relationships. Why are we attracted to certain relationships? How acceptable is it for us to share our deepest fears with others? What are we afraid to share? How close is too close -- or not close enough? What are other people's motivations? Why are they in it? What are my motivations? Why am I in it?

Neptune in Pisces trines Venus in Scorpio at the time of the New Moon. This gives us more compassion and empathy -- perhaps even a sense of oneness -- that can soften our intensity with others and make us more trusting. It also inspires creativity and the feeling of being guided by intuition.

Are you looking for your Soulmate? This might be a good time to find them, as long as you remember that a true Soulmate is someone who supports your Soul's Journey (and Soul's Purpose), someone who wants you to succeed or learn something, someone who supports and challenges you  to be more than we are currently allowing ourselves to be. (this is true of both the inner and outer "journey").

It's been with us pretty much all year, but the Saturn/Neptune square is coming to an end with this Lunar cycle. We've all had to stretch and grow quite a bit when it comes to our capacity to trust in divine timing -- and when it comes to taking responsibility for the role our beliefs play in creating our reality.

Most of us have learned that rushing results in inappropriate boundaries, rigidity, anxiety and even overwhelm. We are learning to be in this physical experience truthfully and responsibly while being guided by intuition and remaining connected to our higher Selves/Spirit. For more on this subject, check out my video, "Saturn in Sagittarius until 2017"

The New Moon also squares Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. We may have to make some changes or adjustments within long-term goals; the same is true of our relationships. As best as you can, be open to receiving feedback from others during this time; stay open while remaining connected to what empowers you.

If you feel pressured into doing something, or feel a power struggle build, as best as you can, get centered and grounded -- then use your creativity to find win/win situations. Ask yourself: What if this were a major growth opportunity in disguise? What might be possible if I could accept those parts of myself that I have rejected because I feared disapproval? What would "Courageous Love" do?

Pluto is moving direct again, providing an opportunity to take a giant step forward in our lives.

With Pluto, the temptation is to obsess over our long-term goals, out of a fear that there won't be enough recognition, progress, results, achievements, ability to provide, etc... As best as you can, remember you're always accomplishing things and making progress -- even if it's not visible yet. Pushing or trying to control the outcome is not the key to success. Rest and recreation, on the other hand, are critical components for moving ahead.

In fact, self-care is a very important component in this: Without it, we can't accomplish much -- we're always behind the eight-ball. What does self-care look like for you? What nurtures you? What helps you bring your "A-game"?

If this New Moon had a core message, it would be: "As within, so without". Look inside yourself and own all your projections -- what have you disowned or rejected about yourself? How do these traits show up in your relationships with others -- whether in good or bad ways? What if you brought 5% more consciousness to the abandoned and rejected places inside of you? What if you sent them 5% more love? If you'd like to learn more about all this, check out my New Moon video.

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 6-10 degrees of Libra, Aries, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 8:11pm Friday evening until 1:43am EDT Saturday night/Sunday very early morning (Oct.2nd); and then again on Sunday between 3:45pm until 8:11pm EDT.

Saturday (Oct. 1st): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Friday early morning for details).

Saturday early afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 1:13pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until this next week Tuesday. This supports us with the flow of feelings, especially in connection to our relationships and whatever we most value. Bringing compassion to our deepest feelings (including fears) and how we relate to others is going to feel easier at this time.

Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 7-13 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Saturday late evening, a Mercury/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 11:22pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until this next week Tuesday. We have a chance to balance our ability to think and speak clearly with our emotional wounding and insecurities.

This aspect may play out in a relationship, with each of you living out one side of the equation. We may experience guilt or shame around something we said or didn't say.

If you feel triggered by someone else, or vice versa: as best as you can, bring compassion and kindness towards both of you. Ask yourself: Is this connected to my past and/or upbringing? What if this were an opportunity to embrace my wounded inner child with love and kindness?

Due to Mercury's recently ended retrograde phase, this is the third time within the last 7 weeks that this aspect has become exact; bringing the Chiron opposition into the picture raises this question: Did anything come up for you around your "wounded inner child" around 7 weeks ago, and then again 3 weeks ago? If so, now would be a good time to address it again, this time more consciously and directly...

Do you have your Ascendent (or personal planets) in 19-25 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you will be most affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo).

Also: if you haven't set your New Moon Intentions yet, any time today (Saturday) is a great time to do so... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article: http://goo.gl/klCcph -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video

Sunday (Oct. 2nd): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra until 3:43pm EDT (see Friday early morning for details).

Sunday at 1:43am EDT, we enter a 14-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 3:43pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to balance your need for equal and harmonious connection, with your drive toward personal visions and ideas.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan most of Sunday ahead of time ;-)

Sunday late morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 11:11am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Monday. This aspect feels "internal" -- inner unease and awkwardness -- and we need to make a choice. Given that it is an internal issue, we need to develop an inner awareness, if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

Our energy tends to be unrealistically directed -- and our sense of self may actually change as we learn that we have wrongly assessed important situations. Our self-trust takes a hit.

Due to our high ideals, we may take on more than we can physically handle -- if we start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at the overall direction we are taking. Do your best to rest and have quiet time alongside your interactions with others.

It is also worthwhile to look for how our ideas are being received by others: Can we involve them in creating/realizing our dreams? Perhaps we are not sure whether we want to keep dreaming our dream privately, or share it with others... As best as you can, slow down: where there is spaciousness, there is flow; where there is flow, there is effortless creation.

Do you have your Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-11 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules of Leo; Neptune rules Pisces)

Sunday afternoon, a somewhat challenging Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 2:19pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will be strong until Monday. This aspect also operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

It can be hard to make decisions under this influence, as we tend to doubt our perceptions, or our problem-solving ability. It may also be hard to read the intention behind the words used to communicate, leading to misunderstandings: we tend to feel uncomfortable -- a sort of "inner itchiness".

As best as you can, give yourself time to respond, allow your breath to ground you -- and forgive yourself if you make mistakes -- after all, you are human ;-)

Due to Mercury's recently ended retrograde phase, this is the third time within the last 7 weeks that this aspect has become exact, this gives us a chance to address our approach toward any misunderstandings. Is there anything that came up around 7 weeks ago, then emerged as an issue again 3 weeks ago, that needs now to be readdressed? If so, this is your chance to create more clarity.

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 22-24 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Jupiter of Sagittarius).

Sunday at 3:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Wednesday morning. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.

A head's up for next Monday (Oct. 3rd): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Sunday afternoon for details).More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Last week was very social and harmonious... I was busy, as usual, but much more aware of my need to take breaks and find time for myself. Love that Jupiter in Libra transit already! :-) Of course, I could also feel that Lunar Eclipse...bringing up feelings connected to my upbringing, allowing for some healing. Feelings, feelings, feelings,....what better way to be reminded that we are human ;-)

For those of you who want to have a better understanding of your personal healing journey, feel free to get the recording of my recent Chiron-workshop: "Healing with Astrology" Click here for more info

This week's headline items: the Pluto Station is still strong, and will be all week. Mercury's Station intensifies on Tuesday and the planet comes to a halt (in order to go direct again) on Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning -- its station ends on Sunday. On Thursday, the Sun changes signs from Virgo to Libra; this also signifies the Fall Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere. On Friday, the last Quarter Moon in Cancer becomes exact (early in the morning) and Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio later on.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late evening (for almost 2.5 hours), Friday very early morning (for 36 minutes), and Saturday late evening (for 12 hours).

Monday (September 19th) at 12:58am EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and "rushing things" goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing right now? It's probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses ;-)

In the morning, an opportune Venus/Mars aspectbecomes exact at 7:53am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Wednesday on; it will be strong until this Friday. This aspect helps intimate or close personal relationships along, bringing passion and sexiness to them -- and if we're not in a long-term committed relationship, we'll get some help in forming one.

This could also be a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, and pleasure in general. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 22-26 degrees of Libra, Sagittarius, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Tuesday (Sept. 20th): the Moon remainsin steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Monday morning for details).

The Mercury station intensifies today (Tuesday), as Mercury is preparing to come to halt on Thursday (ending its 3.5-week retrograde phase). During the station, we feel Mercury's energies more strongly.

Pay attention to anything "in your face" in any of the following areas: communications, short travels, transportation of any kind, communication devices. You will get a chance to make adjustments once Mercury is moving direct again (to be more precise, during the shadow phase that follows).

For the next 6 days, we might experience delays or misunderstandings; things could feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time when getting ready to go somewhere -- and that goes for the journey itself, too -- especially if you intend to drive or use public transportation. Going with the flow is definitely recommended at this time.

Be extra-patient if you intend to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, especially if they are transportation or communication devices like anything connected with planes, trains, cars, phones, computers, iPads, etc. Best of all (if possible): wait until after Oct.6th, when the shadow phase is over.

Some of us will feel the effects of the Mercury station more than others: those of us who have Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant); and those of us with personal planets in 13-17 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius.

A harmonious Mercury/Pluto aspect will be exact twice this week. This is due to Mercury's change in direction (it will station, halt completely, then resume direct motion).

The first time it will be exact is on Tuesday evening at9:26pm EDT; the second time will be Friday, early morning (at 4:51am EDT). We started to feel this aspect build from last Thursday (Sept. 15th); it will be strong until next Wednesday (Sept. 28th).

Our words and our "speaking" are very grounded and realistic. We can feel really empowered by what we say (and how we say it) during this time. Our conviction and passion helps us to connect and empower others.

We are strongly connected to our inner truth and can analyze and understand our motivations around long-term goals. We investigate our own thought structures in a very realistic, focused way, and look to see what needs to be communicated next.

This is the second time in the last 6 weeks that this aspect has become exact; this time around, Mercury is moving retrograde, bringing an even more internal feel.

This gives us a chance to reexamine our approach toward any misunderstandings -- is there anything that needs to be readdressed from around 6 weeks ago? Is your own inner dialog creating more clarity? Does it feel empowering? Are you motivated by fear, love, shoulds...?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-18 degrees of Virgo, Capricorn or Taurus? If so, you will be even more blessed by this aspect than those who do not; this is also true for those of us with our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Scorpio (Mercury rules Gemini and Virgo, Pluto rules Scorpio)

Tuesday at 11:32pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 2.5 hours until 1:53am EDT (Wednesday very early morning). If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to get organized, improve your daily routines and take care of your body and well-being.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday night ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday (Sept. 21st) at 1:53am EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Friday early morning. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible.

"Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way...The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)

With Mercury stationing and coming to a halt tomorrow (Thursday); it's therefore best to go with the flow, as much as possible. This is especially true for the next three days. Also allow extra time for travel (both local and long-distance).

Thursday (Sept. 22nd): the Moon remains in curious, versatile, chatty Gemini all day (see Wednesday very early morning for details).

Thursday at 1:31am EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in almost 15 degrees of Virgo, and slowly starts its direct motionafter its 3-week retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now -- you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its shadow phase…more on that later.

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your inner dialog over the past 3 weeks? How might you share your findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed, concerning daily routines? Well-being? Decluttering the mind?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by Sept. 25th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 13-17 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or Sagittarius.

As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it's best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on Oct. 6thClick here to read my blog on the subject.

Thursday at 10:21am EDT, the Sun changes signs from practical Virgo to harmony-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Oct. 22nd. This signifies the beginning of Autumn in the northern hemisphere of this planet. The Fall Equinox is a energetic turning point from one season to the next. Equinoxes are super potent times for setting intentions. They are energetic gateways, where we experience the inter-relationship between light and dark, inner and outer, spirit and matter.

With the Sun entering Libra, we are being called to pay attention to our relationships. Bringing equality, cooperation and balance to our dealings with the world is recommended during this time. We have a keen awareness around issues of justice and we are more likely to take a stand against injustice, especially when it's directed against others.

However, we also want to keep the peace, so we may use language and our intellect to diplomatically address such issues. We can see all sides of a situation -- and therefore it's not always easy to make the "right" choices. Our desire for harmony is great;  more often than not -- consciously or unconsciously -- we may find ourselves seeking the approval of others.

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Libra Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Libra, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more aware of the delicate balance that is required internally and externally in your life.

Friday (Sept. 23rd) at 3:57am EDT, we enter a 36-minute Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 4:33am EDT. If you are awake, use this brief, intuitive time to connect with others and enjoy exchange and collaboration. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Friday at 4:33am EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Sunday late morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon (which, I will talk about next...)

Friday at 5:56am EDT, the last Quarter Moonin almost 1 degrees of Cancer becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Cancer 90 minutes earlier. The Moon in protective, nurturing Cancer makes a challenging aspect to the Sun harmony-oriented, idealistic Libra. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.

This Moon phase brings us closer to Sept. 30th, which will bring the New Moon in Libra, and the end of Eclipse season! During the last Quarter Moon, we are best served not by beginning new projects, but by reviewing existing ones -- particularly those we started before Eclipse season began back on Sept. 1st.

What is asking to be completed? Are you simply being asked to hang out until the consciousness upgrades are completed? As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up, whether it's internal or with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Cancer, Libra, Capricorn or Aries? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Friday at 10:51am EDT, Venus moves from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra into passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio. She will journey there until Oct. 18th. Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.

Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are -- it's like having X-ray vision of the heart. As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others -- especially if it's someone you have (or want to have) a romantic relationship with.

With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Saturday (Sept. 24th): theMoon remainsinprotective, introverted Cancer all day (see Friday early morning for details).

Saturday at 9:42pm EDT, we enter a 12-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:48am EDT (Sunday late morning). There may be a tension between our need to zoom ahead, versus a desire to nurture, be nurtured and feel safe in the world.

Others are also wrestling with this tension, so we may feel impatient with them; use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative ways to manage these incompatible energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Saturday evening ahead of time ;-)

Sunday (Sept. 25th): theMoon remainsinprotective, introverted Cancer and VoC until 9:48am EDT (see Friday early morning for details).

Sunday at 9:48am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Tuesday afternoon.

Also on Sunday, Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station: Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (Aug.30th -- Sept.22nd) can now be reviewed -- What could you do with that now? What have you discovered about your inner dialog since Aug.30th?

Pluto is coming to a halt tomorrow (Monday), so we will feel its energy particularly strongly today; as best as you can, observe what comes up for you over the next three days...

A head's up for next Monday (Sept. 26th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Sunday late morning for details).  A Sun/Jupiter conjunctionbecomes exact at 3am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until Wednesday night of next week. Pluto comes to a halt at 11:01m EDT. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

I had another busy week -- I found it so helpful to stay flexible and connected to my heart.

There were lots of healing opportunities, yet again -- I sometimes feel like a layer cake -- each time, the healing feels deeper than the time before, each time something gets lifted, and I get reconnected to my heart-center in a whole new way. Of course, we are in Eclipse season, so much is shifting and recalibrating.

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:

This week's headline items: We have two planets stationing this week (Pluto on Monday, Mercury on Friday). The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces becomes exact on Friday.

There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for 11.5 hours), Wednesday late morning (for 11 hours), Friday afternoon (for almost 9.5 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for almost 9 hours).

Monday (September 12th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day. It will journey there until 5:28pm EDT. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures. It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".

As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?

Monday at 6am EDT, we enter a 11.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 5:28pm EDT. We may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires during this time: On the one hand, we have a need for mature, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for rapid progress toward goals, we may want to move a mile a minute, impatiently and enthusiastically hurling ourselves forward into the unknown.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments (and find creative solutions) when it comes to resolving these desires. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your day ahead of time ;-)

Monday afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 2:58pm EDT.We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on, it will be strong until Wednesday. This aspectbrings some juicy energy to our conversations. This is a chance to have some discussions that have been long overdue.

This is the second time in the last 6 weeks that this aspect has become exact; this time around, Mercury is already moving retrograde, bringing an even more internal feel.

This gives us a chance to reexamine our approach toward any misunderstandings -- is there anything that needs to be readdressed that came up for you around 6 weeks ago? Is your own inner dialog about your communications creating more clarity... or more stress?

As best as you can, make it a productive discussion that serves you and others -- a win-win -- otherwise you might feel really awful afterwards. As best as you can, seek to empower yourself and the other person. Also, watch out on the road for some crazy drivers… rushing might not necessarily get you there any faster ;-)

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in the following: 17-24 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you may feel more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Monday at 5:28pm EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Wednesday late evening. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.

For the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs... indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.

The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.

Monday evening, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 20 degrees of Virgo becomes exact at 7:40pm EDT. We will started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on and it will be strong until Friday morning. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life. Intelligence and communication abilities are strong at this time; however, we may not listen as well as the other speaks -- we might be too busy thinking about what to say next.

As this alignment takes place in Cancer, we may be particularly sentimental, but it may not always serve us to refer back to the past -- especially the distant past.

We want an active role in communications -- it's very hard for us to passively listen and absorb information right now. What we say or write now has impact, so as best as you can, choose your words wisely. If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are strong and our thinking independent -- and we're proud of both -- our egos may therefore get bruised if we don't feel "heard". As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have different opinion and that's ok.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-18 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aries or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Last but not least, also on Monday, Pluto starts to slow down (station), preparing to come to a halt on Sept. 26th after its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 4 weeks...

When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 9th).

Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness -- and to our deepest passions.

It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or "death" into "rebirth". Those terms don't necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose.

When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity -- and feel a newness and empowerment from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 4 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul's purpose (your deep authentic Self).

Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Tuesday (Sept. 13th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Monday early evening for details).

Tuesday afternoon, a challenging Sun/Mars aspect becomes exact at 4:39pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Tuesday (Sept.6th) on; it will be strong until Tuesday of next week (Sept. 20th). This invites us to stretch ourselves and grow beyond what we know ourselves to be.

We might feel driven by a restless desire to "do something", but must attend to the details, or our impulsive actions could involve us in needless arguments, or have us spinning our wheels (it would feel more like they were spinning in mid-air!)

Our reactions might be defensive or competitive. We might not be willing to compromise or negotiate. However, energy output can run high if we choose to focus. As best as you can, take care of your body and pay attention to its needs.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-26 degrees of Virgo, Sagittarius, Gemini or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aries (the Sun rules Leo; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Wednesday (Sept. 14th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 10:23pm EDT (see Monday early evening for details).

Wednesday at 11:31am EDT, we enter a 11-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 10:23pm EDT. This is an intuitive time that presents an opportunity to connect to innovative ideas and unique world-views. If possible, share these with others, without apologies. Let your personal projects reflect your unique vision for life.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan the second half of Wednesday ahead of time ;-)

Wednesday at 10:23pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Friday night/Saturday very early morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all -- but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But... that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn't match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It's also a great time for releasing fears -- especially the ones based on a sense of separation -- and experiencing "oneness". Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them -- in fact, "going with the flow" is the best way to go for the next couple of days.nThis Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse -- it will be exact on Friday afternoon -- more on that later...

Wednesday all day and Thursday before 2pm EDT is your last chance to sign up for my MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM -- live on ThursdaySept. 15th at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT/8pm BST(London-time). Please note that we have a Lunar Eclipse and Pluto Station this week and Jupiter started its one-year journey through Libra! Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here. Thursday (Sept. 15th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday late evening for details).

Thursday early morning, a Sun/Chiron opposition becomes exact at 4:27am EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Monday on; and it will be strong until Saturday. This aspect asks of us to create a balance between two poles: on the one hand, our ability to see all the angles and details -- being aware of what works and what doesn't -- and on the other, being able to bring compassion and understanding to each situation.

Our confidence might not be at its strongest at this time. Oppositions can be acted out within relationships: one person embodies one of the energies, while the other person "holds" the energy of the other pole. When this happens, we sometimes experience the opposition as something that the other person is triggering in us.

In the case of this particular opposition, it may be someone poking at our wounds, or pointing out our shortcomings -- which brings up our insecurities or secret shame. This may cause us to spin into an emotional place that is not only connected to what is happening in the moment but also connected to our past -- to our childhood.

If this happens, as best as you can, locate the original pain or wound -- and bring compassion, love, understanding and forgiveness to yourself (and towards your younger Self). Healing can only take place if we are willing to embrace our flaws and love our most vulnerable places.

Blaming, shaming, attacking and justifying will not heal us faster -- it will cause more pain and suffering, within us and around us. How quickly would you like to heal?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-26 degrees of Virgo, Pisces, Gemini or SagittariusIf so, you will feel this opposition quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (the Sun rules Leo).

Thursday evening, a somewhat challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:51pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Wednesday morning on; and it will be strong until Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

An unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. How flexible could you be, if you really tried? What needs to be shifted internally, so you can stay open and aligned with your unique, divine Self?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 22-25 degrees of Virgo or Aries? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Thursday late evening, a challenging Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 11:54pm EDT. We started feeling this aspect build from Sunday on; it will be strong until next week Tuesday.

This aspect challenges us to see our own attachments and aversions as a normal, perhaps even valid, part of being human. That way, should we choose to express desire or anger (or even contempt or disgust), such expressions will feel natural and organic, rather than something that provokes shame.

We may experience situations that call forth our initiative and independence -- but may not feel confident that we can rise to the challenge, let alone follow through. As best as you can, when the challenge comes: Get into action, feel the excitement that comes with stepping out of the familiar. Ask yourself: What would my hero do?

Those of us who have any of our personal planets (or our Ascendent) in 20-26 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo will feel most affected by this aspect.

Thursday is also your very last chance to sign up for my MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM -- live at 12pm PDT/3pm EDT/8pm BST(London-time). Friday (Sept. 16th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Wednesday late evening for details).

Friday at 3:05pm EDT,On Friday at 3:05pm EDT, the Sun opposes the Moon in 24 degrees of Pisces. This powerful Full Moon is also a Lunar Eclipse, as such, its energy is unusually intense. There is a lot to cover today with this Eclipse, as it is also connected to two mutable T-squares -- and all this is going on while Pluto is stationing!

So... this is the first Lunar Eclipse in Pisces since the Moon Nodes moved into Pisces and Virgo last November (2015). Let's take a deeper look at what this means:

The Moon in creative, free-flowing Pisces (which is aligned with the South Node) is making an opposition to the Sun in detail-oriented, practical Virgo (which is aligned in turn with the North Node). The Virgo/Pisces polarity has to do with our ability to connect the head and the heart, logical and intuitive thinking.

Lunar Eclipses direct our attention to the "emotional body" and thus to whatever has been suppressed or ignored. Get ready for some big shifts in your life, especially around your relationship with your intuitive self and rational mind. Where do you need more emotional or spiritual healing? What painful memories have you not been able to process yet?

The last Lunar Eclipse in 24 degrees of Pisces was on Sept. 16th, 1997. Think back to that time; what happened then? What is possible now?

Eclipses bring a strong focus to endings and beginnings -- they push us forward in our evolution and connect us more fully to our Soul’s Journey. As best as you can, trust that whatever is leaving or falling apart is making way for something better -- the more open we are to change, the easier it will be to go to the next level.

Our physical and emotional bodies strongly feel the intensity of it all... remember: these events ultimately support a shift in consciousness, bringing us closer to our Soul's path.

This Eclipse could be about healing a memory around relationships. It could also be about making a new emotional connection, moving into a new home, starting a family, something of that sort. We get the chance to heal a trauma (or abandonment) that was inflicted on us in childhood.

Of course, all of this will resonate more with you if you have personal planets (or angles) within 5 degrees of the Eclipse… More on that later (and feel free to watch my 30-minute class on: "How to Read Your Birth Chart” if you haven't seen it yet)

How do we integrate Pisces with Virgo? This may seem challenging, given Virgo's detailed, analytical understanding, versus Pisces call to open our heart and allow for paradoxical truths to co-exist. In fact, there is no separation, everything is interconnected -- we need both left- and right-brain.

The mind acts like a filtering mechanism that helps us to focus and function more efficiently — but in doing so, it can also greatly narrow our view and understanding of the world. Ask yourself: What is my mind seeking to change or improve? What does my heart want to open to? What might come through if my heart and mind worked together in unison?

Any spiritual practices (such as meditation, breathing exercises, mindful exercise, etc.) can open the doors of our perception. The same is true of spiritual/energetic healing modalities like Reiki, "access consciousness bars", shiatsu, acupuncture, etc. Creative flow through dance, singing, music, sound, etc., can also connect us to “the all”, as can positive emotions such as love, gratitude and compassion.

What tools can you use to expand your view of reality from duality to unity? Ask yourself: Does my inner dialog serve as a support or a distraction?

The Sun aligns with Mercury in Virgo (Mercury currently retrograde) and Jupiter in Libra (feel free to watch my video about Jupiter in Libra). This will have us taking a closer look at relationships -- or rather, our beliefs or ideologies regarding relationships, and the balance of feminine and masculine energies within them. We are more aware of where our daily lives need improvement and where our thought processes need investigation in general. Is your inner dialog bringing clarity?

The Moon aligns with Chiron in Pisces. This is a call for emotional healing around family, the "mother archetype", home, and our past in general. We may feel more sensitive and insecure about our feelings; this gives us the opportunity to give ourselves some compassion, acceptance and nurturing in the face of our sensitivities and limitations.

What have you learned (and perhaps even gained) from painful experiences? How can you bring love and understanding towards those inner wounded spots? What have you been avoiding or rejecting about yourself? About life? Could you bring just 5% more love to those areas?

What might shift if you allowed yourself to be "fully-human" rather than "super-human"? What would Kindness do?

Mars in Sagittarius is the focus point of a T-square involving the Moon and Chiron in Pisces, and the Sun and Mercury in Virgo. How do we use our masculine energies? Are we exhausting ourselves? Can the masculine be in service to the feminine? What assumptions are holding us back? What role does our thinking play in all of this? Are we over-thinking things?

What might be possible if we kept an open mind and curiously investigated our options? What would be possible if we asked ourselves on a daily basis, before taking an action: "Is this nurturing to me?"

Saturn in Sagittarius is the focus point of a T-square involving Neptune in Pisces, Mercury in Virgo and the Moon Nodes. This T-square has been around for quite a while now; you may want to watch my last couple of videos (about the Solar Eclipse in Virgo and the Full Moon in Aquarius), for more details.

How might you connect to inner divinity while fully in this world? What needs to shift in your thinking, so you can fully understand the relationship between human-self and Soul-self? Might there be a direct link between thoughts and feelings, actions and manifestations? Where is focus going? How does that direct emotion?

At the time of the Lunar Eclipse, Venus in Libra sextiles Mars in Sagittarius, while opposing Uranus in Aries. This brings a desire for artistic self-expression, romance and adventure. This will also make it easier to break away from old ways of being in our relationships and step instead into healthier expressions of our feminine and masculine energies. We need to ask ourselves: What might be a new way to express my individuality in my relationships, without pulling or pushing away?

As mentioned above, at the time of the Eclipse, Pluto is stationing in Capricorn; its energies are therefore exalted. It's moving much more slowly than normal because it's preparing to come to a halt on Sept. 26th. Confronting our fears at this time could uncover hidden gifts and strengths. We need to ask ourselves: Where am I holding on out of fear? What emotional attachments keep me from manifesting the things I know I could?

Mercury makes a trine to Pluto. It's easier for us to see more clearly what fears, behaviors, or destructive patterns are holding us back. How can we align our practical thinking with what we want to manifest long-term?

With Neptune on the South Node in Pisces, we are much more aware of the interconnectedness of body and mind, heart and soul. We are also more aware of our connection to all the energies around us, via an emotional connection to all living things. That heightens our sensitivities, making it crucial to surround ourselves with caring, loving energies.

How can we redefine our divine nature? What is a healthy way to connect to our inner divinity?

This powerful Full Moon also highlights the importance of developing, expressing and trusting our feminine energies -- connecting to our feeling side for example, or following our intuition. We need to allow for the flow of things… Just like the tides, just like our breath, we need to allow for feelings/thoughts/sensations to move in, and move out again -- without fearful reactions or judgments.

This Full Moon invites us to tap into our hearts first, so that our mind can be of service to something vaster and more beautiful than we were taught is possible. What if the greatest gift we could give ourselves is liberating our heart-energies? What if we allowed ourselves to move with those energies like a breeze on a summer day?

The ability to trust and move with our heart-intuition is the most powerful "weapon" we have in the 21st century. My video about the Lunar Eclipse is already posted, click here to watch.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 19-29 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius? If so, you are more affected by this Lunar Eclipse. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Friday, also at 3:05pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 9.5 hours, until 12:22am EDT (Friday night/Saturday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to find a balance between logic and intuition, between the head and the heart, order and chaos, clarity and imagination.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday afternoon and evening ahead of time ;-)

Saturday (Sept. 17th) at 12:22am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Monday late afternoon. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects.

Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately. Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.

Saturday early morning, a harmonious Mars/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 3:04am EDT. We started feeling this aspect from Sunday on; it will be strong until next week Wednesday. This aspect signals a time when our energy level is much higher than usual -- among other effects, we may find we can work for long hours without fatigue, or feel "driven", especially in new and unusual directions.

It could be that we receive backing from unusual sources. In general, our efforts are successful and we scale new heights of originality. As best as you can, stay open to new and unexpected things. Highly recommended: Group activities, group causes and connecting to like-minded people from all over the world.

Do you have your Ascendant (or one or more personal planets) in 20-27 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler Aries; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Saturday early afternoon, a somewhat challenging Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 1:35ppm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Friday night on; it will be strong until Sunday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We may feel uneasy or insecure in our relationships -- and be faced with a choice -- we must develop an inner awareness if we are to see what needs adjusting.

As you can imagine, this could make social interactions somewhat awkward; as best as you can, connect with kindness towards all (including yourself :-)

We may also have a hard time making financial decisions that feel satisfactory. As best as you can, bring a good dose of compassion and understanding to yourself and embrace your own humanity as much as possible... and remember: like everything else, this is only temporary ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-24 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Sunday (Sept. 18th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Saturday very early morning for details).

Sunday morning, a Venus/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 4:06am EDT. We started to feel this opposition on Thursday evening and it will be strong until next Tuesday. This opposition calls us to balance "togetherness" with "having our space".

We may find that we disagree with others. We may be restless, even anxious, and therefore feel pressure to act (and react) impulsively towards others -- or towards our finances. Try your best not to put all your money on a horse, just because it has a funny name, or elope with a random hottie ;-)

We could also be caught off-guard somehow, so stay open-minded and flexible.

Do not get a facelift or any kind of beauty treatment that has the potential to go horribly wrong. I'm not kidding.

If there were a way to fully express our individuality in our relationships, without needing to pull or push away... what might that way be? Could you shake things up a little, without being oppositional or offensive?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 20-27 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus being the ruler of Taurus and Libra, while Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Sunday at 4:11pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 9 hours, until 12:58am EDT (Sunday night/Monday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to make connections to people that might support your projects and sentiments.

If at all possible, refrain from actually starting anything brand-new though — in fact, plan Sunday late afternoon and evening ahead of time or stick to routine things. If nothing else… simply go with the flow.

Also on Sunday, Pluto station intensifies until Oct. 3rd. It will come to a halt on Sept. 26th in almost 15 degrees of Capricorn.

As I mentioned on Monday already, when an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around Oct. 9th).

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 3 weeks.

A head's up for next Monday (Sept. 19th): At 12:58am EDT, the Moon movesinto steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning. In the morning, an opportune Venus/Mars aspectbecomes exact at 7:53am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday on; it will be strong until next week Friday. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
