Last week was a wonderful mix of focus on the social and on myself. When Mercury approached the T-Square with Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter involved, things got a little more intense, and the energies got dialed up mentally... No wonder when we consider the planets involved ;-)
This week's headline items: the New Moon in Aries becomes exact on Monday late evening; a long-term Jupiter/Pluto aspect becomes exact (again) on Thursday afternoon; Saturn's station intensifies on Saturday (how perfect is that, lol). Mercury begins to slow down (station) on Sunday -- preparing to come to a halt and starting its retrograde phase -- and Venus (already in retrograde) re-enters Pisces on Sunday evening.
There will also be four Moon VoC phases this week: Monday morning (for almost 4 hours), Wednesday morning (for a little over 3.5 hours), Thursday evening (for 17.5 hours), and Sunday late morning (for a little over 3.5 hours).
Monday (March 27th) is a big day! The Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 10:11am EDT.
Monday at 6:19am EDT, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC).that lasts until 10:11am EDT. We are pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, a desire for inner silence, emotional oneness, and creativity flowing through us... And on the other, a desire for focused exploration and cautious expansion...
Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan your Monday morning ahead of time ;-)
Monday at 10:11am EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-pacedAries, where it will journey until Wednesday late morning. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.
Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.
Monday early afternoon,an opportune Mars/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 12:44pm EDT.We started to feel this aspect from last Friday on (March 24th), it will be strong until this Thursday (March 30th). This gives us the opportunity to take actions that are in alignment with our dreams and ideals. This is also an opportunity for boundaries to dissolve -- to open and relax.
Creative or spiritual activities might be a good fit with this planetary connection. We may feel the need to daydream or inspire others. What might it mean, to take "inspired action"? What might show up in the world? What if you allowed the Universe to co-create with you?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 10-15 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)
And lastly, (the most important part of Monday's forecast) theNew Moon in Aries becomes exact at 10:57pm EDT. The Moon aligns with the Sunin 7.5 degrees of Aries. This is the beginning of a new Moon cycle; anything brand-new started in the next two weeks has the chance to get off to a great start. Also feel free to watch my New Moon video on the subject
With the New Moon in fast-paced, enthusiastic, courageous Aries, we are asked to connect to our personal goals and get very clear on what we want to create for the next 28 days. This is an action-packed energy with the focus on ourselves. We tend to do first and think later -- we have a tremendous amount of energy and want to sprint.
Here are some questions you can ask yourself for this New Moon: Where can I approach my life with “beginner’s mind”? What do I want to create in this “now moment"? What if I were to tap into my inner courage and passion for life -- right here, right now?
Mars (the ruler of Aries), is currently in Taurus, sextiling Neptune in Pisces. This aspect is asking us to create a solid relationship with ourselves and allow for our inner divinity (Source/God) to guide us. We are encouraged to value what we have to offer.
This is also a cosmic message about relating to the physical plane (and ourselves) in a loving, kind manner -- one that honors this planet, this body, this life. Living in the present moment and trusting our intuition... That's the way to go ;-)
We are also being asked to slow down and focus on quality over quantity, sustainability over novelty, ease over force. Questions you can ask yourself here: How can I generate and protect life and this planet? How can I inspire confidence and have a healthy relationship to my physical and energetic/feeling Self? What if I loved myself 5% more every day? What actions could I take to connect my physical self to my "soul-self"?
Mars in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn (exact on April 6th). This combo is a “mutual support system” when it comes to manifesting something real — in other words: tangible, sustainable, meaningful. When we are more confident about what we have to offer, and can communicate it clearly, we feel more empowered and able to build something of value and stature — and all in alignment with our passions.
Ask yourself: If that were true for me, what would I go about “building”? What would be truly meaningful to my Soul?
The New Moon makes a conjunction to Venus in Aries, so we are invited to connect with others in a healthy way — without neglecting our own physical being, goals, and passions — this takes a strong, healthy individual. The Venus connection in Aries with the New Moon symbolizes very beautifully how both "giving" and "receiving" are essential to achieving greatness.
With Venus being retrograde, we are learning that we must first give to ourselves, so we can connect with others in a healthy way. Knowing our truth, our path, our calling is essential at this point, no matter what it may look or feel like to others… No one else knows our path -- not our partner, parents, friends, teachers... no one.
And when we know it, we must have the courage to look at it, acknowledge it, follow it. As best as you can, use this New Moon energy to follow your path courageously and without question; step into the unknown, take initiative and assert yourself!
Could you walk through that door? What might be possible if you dared to walk your path?
We also covered the Venus Retrograde in more detail in our last Forecasting Forum -- if you want to know how this planetary movement is impacting you personally, feel free to purchase the video-recording of the last webinar -- we applied the Venus and Saturn Retrograde phases to our own birth charts! Mercury aligns with Uranus in Aries at the time of the New Moon, joining the T-Square that has been in place since Nov. 2016 (it involves Uranus, Pluto and Jupiter). This underlines the message that we are ready for the next big step on our path. It takes courage to leave familiar territory. Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality and most of all... progress.

Uranus in Aries, aligned with Mercury, asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from stepping up our game -- whatever keeps us in a rut. Shifts are happening everywhere. It's time to develop some courage and awareness: Where do you want to step up and out? If you made a big leap, where might you land?
Mercury in Aries is all about “Beginner’s Mind”: Open, eager, willing to be surprised. The fewer preconceptions we have, the more possibilities we see, and the wider the path grows. With Mercury and Uranus in alignment, this is our time to let go of “shoulds” and "needing to know all the answers”.
Questions to ask yourself for the next 2 weeks: What do I see that needs changing in my life? What do I feel most passionate about? Where do I need to take a stand? What is the outcome I seek? What's my vision for everyone involved, including this planet?
Saturn in Sagittarius is stationing at the time of the New Moon (and thus exalted). This brings extra focus to our belief structures and the stories we tell ourselves. Saturn shows us where we limit ourselves, and where we need to have a more mature, realistic approach or expectations.
What belief structures no longer serve my long-term vision for life? What am I most aware of right now? What might shift if I changed my perception and took a more mature stand?
Since we will be dealing with a lot of retrograde planets this month and next, keep in mind that retrogrades are all about gaining inner clarity and connecting to the energies from within (i.e., more intuitively). This may require us to keep the focus more on ourselves (and check in with our inner compass).
It also gives us a chance to see what works (and what doesn't) in certain areas of our lives; we can take stock and look at what needs a do-over (or at least a reassessment).
We will go over the upcoming retrograde phases in more detail in the next Forecasting Forum -- if you want to know how the Mercury Retrograde and Pluto Station/Retrograde will impact you personally, feel free to join us -- we will apply what's coming up to our own birth charts.
The next Forum will be on Wednesday, April 12th at 5pm EDT/10pm BST (London-time); for more info or to register, click here
To sum it all up for this New Moon: As best as you can, honor yourself, your body, your talents. Listen to your inner voice and bring your passionate Self to the world. Remember that each of us makes this journey in our own way and in our own time. Focus on yourself, your own path, your own truth, rather than trying to convert others.
The highest expression of the Aries energy is when we lead others by example and inspiration -- others follow us because they see our courage, our enthusiasm for life, and they want to be a part of it.
The ultimate goal of this New Moon is to tap into our inner warrior — the warrior that generates and protects life, rather than exploiting and destroying it -- courageous, rather than combative, assertive without being aggressive. To learn more about additional aspects connected to this month's New Moon, please click here to watch my video.
Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in one of the following placements: 5-10 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).
The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This process is especially powerful with the New Moon in Aries. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase.
So this month, we have two periods that are great times to set intentions: First, any time between 10:57pm Monday (March 27th) and 8:07am Wednesday, March 29th. If you aren’t able to do it during that time period, wait a few hours and set them between 11:48am and 10:57pm EDT, March 29th. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here
Here’s a few bonus questions: How can I feel more unified with others rather than more separate? What if I simply trusted my heart and my inner truth, even when life throws curveballs? What if I accepted new truths into my heart "just because"? What might humility do for me?
What am I learning about my inner resilience? What if respecting myself fully was just a decision? What attitudes do I need to eliminate to achieve greater alignment with my own humanity and my world?
Tuesday (March 28th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Monday late morning for details).
Tuesday late afternoon/early evening until Wednesday very early morning, the Moon will trigger the existing T-square (you may recall it involves Uranus in Aries, Jupiter Libra and Pluto in Capricorn).
You may find yourself wanting to move forward with new projects or ideas; if this happens organically and is something that you have been preparing for, go right ahead.
To have a better idea what this T-square is all about, I invite you to read my article on the subject. You can also email us at info@AstrologerCoach.com and write "T-Square" in the subject line -- my assistant will email you the article ;-)
If you'd prefer to watch a video, I recommend some of the New Moon/Full Moon videos I've been posting since Nov. 2016. Here are the links: Click here to see a selection of videos
Wednesday (March 29th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 11:48am EDT (see Monday late morning for details).
Wednesday at 8:07am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3.5 hours, until 11:48am EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect, to meet your need for newness, and for exploring your goals in a mature and disciplined way. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday morning ahead of time ;-)
Wednesday at 11:48am EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Friday early afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and "rushing things" goes against our grain.
What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It's probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses ;-)
Wednesday afternoon, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 2:16pm EDT (we started to feel this aspect from Monday on and it will be strong until Friday). During this time, it will help to interact with integrity and commitment. We can set aside unrealistic views and make concrete, practical plans, that help us explore a larger truth.
We “get to the point” -- no wasted time or words. Seeking a larger understanding, we speak our truth, but temper it with adult caution and moderation. The reality of our beliefs gets clearer and our thought processes are more realistic. It is important for us to learn something new -- with a mature attitude.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 24-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius, Leo or 0-1 degree of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn? If so, you will likely be more blessed by this aspect.
Thursday (March 30th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Wednesday late morning for details).
Thursday afternoon, the second of three challenging Jupiter/Pluto aspects becomes exact at 2:19pm EDT. This is a long-term aspect: we'vebeen feeling it since March 15th and will continue to feel it strongly until April 14th. The first exact aspect between Jupiter and Pluto was back in late November of 2016; the third Jupiter/Pluto square will become exact in August 2017.
Think back to November/December of last year: what came up for you at that time? What changes in perception did you experience? What were you able to release from your past that was holding you back from building an empowering future?
This aspect can pique our ambitions and sense of our capacity for achievement. But it might be a good idea to slow things down just a little -- we mean well, but are very likely to over-extend, or be overly optimistic.
Optimistic belief (and even blind faith) in others may cause us to take unnecessary risks that are out of alignment with our deepest desires -- and therefore not empowering for everyone involved.
That said, deep changes in our beliefs are now possible -- if we allow ourselves to let go of what's no longer working around our social structures or long-term goals. That could shift things for us -- both at the individual and social/collective levels. How have your beliefs shifted since 2007? Where did you have to let go of certain beliefs so you could feel more empowered?
We are at a turning point. Empowering others is key! Notice when you try to force your beliefs on others -- indeed, when you push too hard, in general -- the more we push, the more likely it becomes that life will push back! The fact is, humor and open-mindedness work better right now, as does connecting to whatever we feel truly passionate about.
There could be an element of disempowerment that creeps in, both with ourselves and others, so just be aware of that... It can also feel quite intense: between our long-term goals and our relationships, we could be stretched to the max. I highly recommend self-care during this time. Ask yourself: What does my "inner baby" need? How can I nurture it whilst still connecting with others or following my passions?
This is a closing square -- and as such, it is the last portion of the Jupiter/Pluto cycle that started in 28 degrees of Sagittarius back in Dec. 2007. What have you learned since then? In what ways has your perception of life expanded? What are some beliefs that are still asking to be transformed?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-22 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio or Sagittarius (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio, Jupiter of Sagittarius).
Thursday evening at 7:12pm EDT, we enter a 17.5-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that last until 12:40pm EDT (Friday early afternoon). This is an intuitive time; use it to bring awareness to your long-term goals and make realistic financial plans.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday evening and Friday morning ahead of time ;-)
Friday (March 31st): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus andVoC until 12:40pm EDT (see Wednesday late morning for details).
Friday at 12:40pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will be until Sunday afternoon. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way... The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)
Friday at 1:31pm EDT, Mercury changes signs fromenthusiastic, fast-paced Aries to steady, peaceful Taurus, where, due to Mercury's retrograde phase in April/May, it will journey through Taurus several times. First until April 20th and then again from May 16th until June 6th.
For the next 3 weeks, our thinking shifts gears: we want to connect to others in a realistic, down-to-earth way and we "say it like it is". We appreciate common sense; we rely on our senses when it comes to processing information.
A well-developed sense of color, smell, and touch are characteristic of this Mercury position, so as long as Mercury is in Taurus, we will be drawn towards the "tasteful" in the realm of the five senses. We are more likely to have a no-nonsense approach to decision-making, and our ideas are often very practical and useful at this time.
When it comes to learning, we prefer demonstrations, concrete answers, and basic concepts for the next 3 weeks. We learn best when we see real-world uses for the theories we are trying to absorb. We simply process information better when we can personalize it ("what use is it to me?") and attach it to the practical world.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus? If so, you may feel more talkative during this time. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you may need to slow down and “smell the roses” ;-)
Saturday (April 1st): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Geminiall day (see Friday early afternoon for details).
Saturday all day (especially in the morning and towards the evening), if you set Intentions Monday night, Tuesday or Wednesday -- after the New Moon became exact -- today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?
Also on Saturday, the Saturn station intensifies until April 10th."Stationing" is when a planet moves more slowly through the sky. When a planet stations, its energy becomes more "exalted"; in the case of Saturn, this means we all feel the need to more fully face what is currently so, our actual reality.
Saturn has to do with doing what needs to be done -- so we can fully understand the practical implications of our reality, and the consequences of our past actions. Saturn also represents our structures, responsibilities, commitments and ability to "do" life, on life's terms.
As spirit beings in a physical world, it's best to observe the laws of the physical world. The sooner we learn to "play by the rules", the easier life gets. Saturn also represents time and the "domain" of time: growing up, maturing, understanding our limitations, setting healthy boundaries with others, living with integrity, being authentic and truthful, being serious and focused on building something of value to society.
Saturn is our teacher. If you had a cosmic teacher, what would your personal "earth class" be in, right now? Where are you being asked to look at your beliefs and became more mature? What calls for a commitment towards a larger truth? What will time do?
As best as you can during the time of the station, bring flexibility and open-mindedness to any frustrations. The station-phase will last until April 14th; and Saturn starts its 4-month retrograde on April 6th in 27.5 degrees of Sagittarius (more on that next week).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 25-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this station. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Capricorn, since Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn.
Sunday (April 2nd): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Geminiuntil 2:27pm EDT (see Friday early afternoon for details).
Sunday at 10:43am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 3.5 hours, until 2:27pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between connecting with others, and focusing on your attitudes and perspectives towards life.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday late morning and early afternoon ahead of time ;-)
Sunday at 2:27pm EDT,the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Tuesday evening. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful. This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Monday afternoon).
Sunday at 8:25pm EDT:Venus, due to its retrograde motion, re-enters creative, sensitive Pisces. It will journey there until April 28th. Due to Venus's Retrograde phase, it already journeyed through Pisces from January 3rd until February 3rd. Think back to that time: How did you relate to others at that time? What came up in your relationships with others -- or in the way you related to yourself?
For the next four weeks, we have a chance to connect to other people from our compassionate heart. We may also idealize our relationships a little — we’re feeling quite romantic, and hopeful that our dreams will be fulfilled.
With Venus in Pisces, our love is very accepting -- it comes as close to "unconditional" as humans can get. One way this shows up: We root for the underdog. We prefer feeling things out to planning.
As you can imagine, we may spend our money on things that don’t make “sense” -- but if we heed intuition and allow for money to flow freely, we may discover that the Universe always takes care of us ;-)
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces? If so, beauty and love will enhance your life for the next three-and-a-half weeks. Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? You may feel a strong need for romance or unconditional love -- or dream of the ideal relationship. Your finances and values may undergo the spiritual process of releasing control and trusting more to intuition and the flow of life.
Also on Sunday,Mercury starts to slow down (“station”), preparing to come to a halt next week Sunday, April 9th (when it will begin its 3-week retrograde phase). More on that next week...
For the next 14 days (until April 16th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others -- especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.
We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready or travel somewhere -- especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 0-7 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius.
A head's up for next Monday (April 3rd): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Sunday afternoon for more details). The first Quarter Moon in Cancerbecomes exact at 2:39pm EDT.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
