Drained or Frustrated? -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., May 1st - Sun., May 7th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

It's been quite a week: I am currently packing up my house, since we are moving; I also left for a family visit to Europe last week for my grandma's 95th Birthday. So... lots going on, lots to think about... :-)

I felt a real shift in my perspective, after watching the 1993 movie "Alive": I realized that no matter how much my mind tries to convince me how "bad" (or at least "stressful") things currently are, in the grander scheme of things, my current life situation is a piece of cake, compared to what other human beings have endured -- indeed, what people continue to endure in many places.

I am grateful for all that I am, all the support I have in my life, all the "gifts" that I am receiving on a daily basis -- simple things I often take for granted (smiles, food, shelter, love... etc). So, I decided to take the pressure off and simply do the best I can, without thinking about it too much. That simple shift in perspective gave me so much peace -- and guess what: I was able to get everything done before leaving on my trip.

This week's headline items: the first Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Tuesday late evening; Mercury comes to a halt on Wednesday early afternoon (before slowly moving direct again) and moves with a slower pace -- it ends its station and resumes its regular pace on Sunday.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday afternoon (for almost 8 hours), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for a little over 5 hours), and Saturday morning (for a little over 5.5 hours).

Monday (May 1st): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day. It will journey there until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)

Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.

Monday at 4:23pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 8 hours, until 12:12am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday every early morning). Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations. Make space both for going after personal projects that you feel passionate about and for taking care of emotional or family issues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening ahead of time ;-)

Monday night/Tuesday every early morning at 12:12am EDT, the Moon moves into fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Thursday morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-)

So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.

If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it? This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact on Tuesday late evening).

Tuesday (May 2nd): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday night for details).

Tuesday at 10:47pm EDT, the first Quarter Moon in almost 13 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect from the moment the Moon entered Leo Monday night. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in steady, peaceful Taurus.

We feel compelled to take action. The New Moon took place a week ago (April 26th); "seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 11-15 degrees of Leo, Taurus, Aquarius or Scorpio? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Wednesday (May 3rd): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Monday night for details).

Wednesday at 12:33pm EDT, Mercury comes to a halt in 24 degrees of Aries and slowly starts its direct motionafter its 3-week retrograde phase. As best as you can, go with the flow, keep an open mind and pay attention to anything that is in your face right now -- you may need to address those issues again, when Mercury moves through its shadow phase…more on that later.

We are slowly ready to shift our focus back towards the outer world again, taking in new information and sharing from a new perspective. What did you learn about your personal preferences over the past 3 weeks? How might you share your findings in a healthy way with others? What needs to be addressed with regards to your values or what you feel passionate about?

When Mercury gets back to its regular speed (by May 7th), communication and transportation will get back to normal; the same is true of any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc.

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 22-26 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, or Cancer.

As you may recall, I mentioned Mercury shadow phases in this update a few weeks back: If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items, it's best to avoid the periods shortly before and after Mercury goes retrograde. This is especially true if the items are connected to transportation (cars, plane tickets, etc.) or communication (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) This particular shadow phase ends on May 20thClick here to read my blog on the subject.

Wednesday evening, an opportune Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 8:51pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will be strong until Saturday. This aspect is an opportunity both to dissolve what no longer serves us, and to connect to our intuition. We definitely feel inspired. It’s also a great time to allow a sense of flow and faith in our financial standings.

Our capacity for compassion (both toward ourselves and others) is quite strong, especially if we are able to acknowledge it. Dreams and reality find a way to work together now -- any spiritual or creative endeavors that are started during this time will most likely do very well -- and it feels great to donate time or money to favored causes.

Remember that this is an "opportunity" -- it isn't just handed to us, we have to make it happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 12-16 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces).

Thursday (May 4th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 5:47am EDT (see Monday night for details).

Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning at 12:35am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a little over 5 hours, until 5:47am EDT. During this intuitive time, have fun connecting with others, and exploring new avenues.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. If you are awake during this time, you may also want to plan Thursday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at5:47am EDT, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Saturday mid afternoon; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Friday (May 5th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day (see Thursday morning for details).

Friday early morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Jupiter aspect becomes exact at 3:59am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday night on, it will be strong until Saturday night. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward -- and we need to make a choice. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting.

More profoundly though, we may feel challenged, as we realize that we are being overly enthusiastic with others. That high optimism may also drive us to take on more than we can physically handle. If we do start to feel drained or frustrated, it might be helpful to look at how we use our energy: Are we in tune with our physical body?

It’s also worthwhile to examine how our personal beliefs about relationships are being received by others... Can we involve them in our desire for more balance and harmony? And even perhaps our desire for more justice in the world?

Neither avoiding conflict, nor digging in our heels will serve us now; as best as you can, slow down and stay tuned in to your physical body -- ground yourself like a tree rooting deep into the earth, with branches that bend with the wind ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-16 degrees of Taurus or Libra? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Sagittarius (the Sun rules of Leo; Jupiter rules Sagittarius)

Saturday (May 6th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 2:20pm EDT (see Thursday morning for details).

Saturday at 8:42am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 5.5 hours, until 2:20pm EDT. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

Make space both for looking at your beliefs, to see which ones are sound, and for organizing your daily routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday morning/early afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Saturday at 2:20pm EDT, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, where it will journey until Monday night/Tuesday  very early morning. The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Sunday (May 7th):  the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Saturday afternoon for details).

Sunday: Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. Communication and transportation is now back to “normal”, as are any associated gadgets, vehicles, etc. New ideas and information received during the Mercury retrograde phase (April 9th -- May 3rd) can now be reviewed. What did you discover about your inner dialogue -- especially when it comes to your personal values and desires — during that time?

A head's up for next Monday (May 8th):  the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Saturday afternoon for details). At 6:59pm EDT, we enter a 6-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 12:12am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning).  More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Set Aside Unrealistic Views -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 24th - Sun., April 30th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was eye-opening for me, it accentuated my awareness around how I relate to others -- and also to "pressure", which I experienced in abundance :-) I had to be very kind and gentle with myself all week. When I remembered to, I would remind myself to take it one moment at a time, and take little breaks here and there. In other words, self-care was yet again a biggy ;-) How was last week for you?

This week's headline items: the New Moon in Taurus becomes exact on Wednesday morning; Venus changes signs from Pisces to Aries on Friday morning; Mercury starts to slow down again on Saturday... and it's time to take actions on our New Moon Intentions on Sunday.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday late afternoon/early evening (for 4 hours), Thursday late evening (for 21 minutes), and Saturday late afternoon/early evening (for almost 4.5 hours).

Monday (April 24th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late evening. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.

Monday early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 4:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last week Wednesday evening on (April 19th); it will be strong until this Friday night. During this time, it will help to interact with integrity and commitment. We can set aside unrealistic views and make concrete, practical plans, that help us explore a larger truth.

We “get to the point” -- no wasted time or words. Seeking a larger understanding, we speak our truth, but temper it with adult caution and moderation. The reality of our beliefs gets clearer and our thought processes are more realistic. It is important for us to learn something new -- with a mature attitude.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius, Leo or 0 degrees of Taurus, Capricorn or Virgo? Or perhaps you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn? If so, you will likely be more blessed by this aspect.

Tuesday (April 25th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 9:56pm EDT (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 5:53pm EDT, we enter a 4-hour Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:56pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect, to meet your need for newness, and for exploring your goals in a mature and disciplined way.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 9:56pm EDT, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Thursday late evening. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and "rushing things" goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It's probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses ;-)

As Tuesday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact, this is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days have passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Wednesday (April 26th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Tuesday late evening for details).

Wednesday at 8:16am EDT: the New Moon in 6.5 degrees of Taurus becomes exact, beginning a new Moon cycle. As best as you can, get really quiet, and see if you are getting any new messages or ideas. Harvest those thoughts and use them while setting your intentions for the new Moon cycle -- I will talk about doing just that later in the forecast, and I’ll even give you the very best times for doing so :-)  Click here to watch my video on the subject

This New Moon in steady, peaceful Taurus brings our focus to our interactions with the physical world. We are looking to create a healthy relationship with “matter", one in which we are neither too attached, or too disconnected from our bodies, resources (such as money) and planet — a healthy attitude towards those things.

We are powerfully reminded to take the time to honor the only planet we can currently live on — The Earth — to honor its resources and beauty.

We are also invited to honor ourselves, our bodies, our talents. This is a good cycle for reevaluating our relationship to money and possessions, and for discovering what truly makes us happy and fulfilled. What comes to mind?

Venus is the ruler of Taurus; it moves through Pisces at the time of the New Moon, reminding us that we are all connected on a Soul level. It is thus asking us not only to honor ourselves and this planet, but also our intuitive relationship with ourselves and our planet. This is an opportunity to further understand that, energetically speaking, "we are all one”. We are to go beyond our five senses to the sixth, and use self-compassion to open our hearts, eyes and minds.

Ultimately it comes down to this: whatever we do to another, or to this planet, we are also doing to ourselves. We are part of nature, just like a tree or the ocean -- our actions and interactions with the only home we have will change it, for good or ill. We are also developing an increasingly profound conscious awareness that connects us to all that is alive.

Being able to access this awareness will support us in the next 28 days — and the best ways to achieve this are through meditation, art, our dreams, our intuition. Being the eye of the storm, allowing for all things to be what they are… This will create a profound (and very necessary) shift in regards to how we value ourselves, love, beauty, and this planet.

To bring all this together, ask yourself: What can I sense when I get very quiet and tune into my own energy field and the energy all around me? How can I create more compassion? More flow? What really matters to my heart? My soul? What if I truly valued my intuitive knowingness? What would co-creating with the Universe look like? What if I trusted the "divine inside of me" 5% more? What might I be able to hear?

Venus aligns with Chiron in Pisces and they both square Saturn in Sagittarius. This has been going on since early April (as you may recall from my last Libra Full Moon video -- if you need a reminder, feel free to watch again ;-)

The alignment with Chiron provides an opportunity to do some healing, using our feminine, more receptive energies. As best as you can, allow your emotional sensitivities to come through -- honor and embrace what you discover.

Ask yourself: What might benefit from my acceptance and compassion? What intuitive hits am I getting that I have been pushing aside? Could I forgive myself for being a spiritual being having a human experience? Could I allow myself to see the perfection in all of it?

The square to Saturn asks us to stretch ourselves, and attempt a realistic and responsible approach, when it comes to relating to others. We have the chance to create some lasting shifts within our relationships and can form new perspectives that could be helpful long-term -- we are being asked to bring compassion and maturity to the table.

If we can allow ourselves to tune in and slow down, we will become more aware of where we need to be more sensitive or patient -- and where we need to trust the process of co-creating with the universe.

Ask yourself: If I'm really honest with myself, what am I ready to take responsibility for, when it comes to my interactions with others? Where do I focus when relating to others? Am I interested in being “right", or in having mature, adult connections? Could I honor my own and other people's limitations when it comes to relating and connecting from the heart?

Mercury (currently retrograde) aligns with Uranus in Aries and they both make a trine to Saturn in SagittariusThis could bring some exciting possibilities and perhaps even a leap forward in the evolution of our consciousness. We'll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc.

As best as you can, and as much as you want to (of course), stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. With Saturn being a part of the equation, it is important for us to learn something new -- with a mature attitude.

Ask yourself: What might be a real breakthrough for me at this time? What insights am I receiving? What am I learning about myself every day that has the potential to change my perspective about life?

The Mercury retrograde reminds us to take a good look at any unhelpful conditioning or thinking patterns around our personal desires -- these may show up as issues around going after something that we feel passionate about, or communicating what we desire.

This will support us until May 3rd in rethinking and releasing what no longer works. Think of it as an opportunity to upgrade certain areas of your life. What might you be able to realize if you were both honest and kind to yourself?

One other thing worth mentioning: Mercury in Aries also makes a "mutual reception" to Mars in Gemini -- in other words, these planets are in each other's signs until May 15th; during that time, they support each others agenda. We seek out mental stimulation: sharing, teaching, learning, writing, etc.... and we want to move fast! Patience is not on top of our list...

Our disdain for routine keeps us busy; we may feel quite fidgety or full of nervous energy. As best as you can, make lists, focus on things that support your well-being in all areas of your life -- and most of all: choose wisely! What might I discover about myself and my desires if I allowed myself to listen?

Pluto in Capricorn came to a halt on April 20th and is now moving retrograde; it will be moving slower (i.e. stationing) until May 2nd. Whenever a planet is stationing, its energy is exalted; in this case the Pluto station amplifies our need for accomplishment and authenticity in the world that we are building not only for ourselves, but for future generations. It also sends a message about empowering ourselves and transforming anything that is no longer congruent with our long-term-goals.

Because we are placing so much focus on building and succeeding, we need to be extra aware of how much self-care we are allowing ourselves to receive at this time: as best you can, allow balance between striving for accomplishment and nurturing yourself. Reach out for support if you start to feel burned out or find yourself going down the "rabbit-hole".

You might want to watch my latest Forum; we looked at the Pluto station in relationship to our birth charts. Other than booking a reading with me, the Forum is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the "90-minute" webinar — I put “90-minute” in quotation marks, because with all the wonderful questions we received, the last webinar went on a lot longer than 90 minutes ;-) : Click here to add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart

To sum it all up: for the next 28 days, we are invited to look at where we are attached or disconnected regarding the physical world, and how to find a healthy balance between a series of apparent opposites: feminine and masculine, fast and slow, taking action and allowing, doing and being. We are asked to find out what it means to be completely honest with ourselves, with our heart. Flexibility and adaptability will serve us, rigidity and fear will not!

Over the next 28 days, ask yourself: What if everything that happened was my Soul's choice to experience? What if that were true even of this moment, right now? What would change if that were true? What if I let myself simply observe my mind and heart? What if I allowed them to remain open no matter what I experience?

As you observe your heart and mind you might also ask the following questions: What outdated biases or beliefs am I holding on to? Could I remain curious? Could I listen (to myself and others) as well as speak up? If I were safe to speak, and would absolutely be heard, what might my heart desire to communicate?  Click here to watch my video on the subject

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. This is best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be between 8:16am on Wednesday, April 26th, and 8:16am EDT, Friday, April 28th.

Note however, that there is a short Moon Void of Course on Thursday late evening; it starts at 9:18pm and ends at 9:39pm EDT. Don’t set your intentions during those 20 minutes — wait it out and allow intuition to surface possible intentions in the meantime. For more info on setting New Moon Intentions click here

If you live in a timezone other than EDT (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning to let you know that it's the best time to set your intentions ;-)

When setting intentions, ask yourself: Where am I getting attached out of fear of separation? Could it be that these attachments actually prevent me from experiencing abundance and flow? What if I let go of all attachments and aversions, just for a moment, just for right now -- just to see what would happen? ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 4-9 degrees of Taurus, Scorpio, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Thursday (April 27th): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 9:39pm EDT (see Tuesday late evening for details).

Thursday at 9:18pm EDT, we enter a brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 9:39pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to slow down, tune in, and improve your understanding of your emotional and spiritual values (especially when connecting to others). As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Thursday at 9:39pm EDT, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will be until Saturday late evening. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way... The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)

Also: if you haven't set your New Moon Intentions yet, today (Thursdayuntil 9:18pm and then again after 9:39pm EDT is still time to do so during the most potent time... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article: http://goo.gl/klCcph -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video

Friday (April 28th): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Thursday late evening for details).

Last chance to set your New Moon Intentions! Today (Fridayuntil 8:16am EDT is the most potent time to do so... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article: http://goo.gl/klCcph -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video

Friday at 9:13am EDT, Venus changes signs from intuitive, creative, dreamy Pisces to fast-paced, enthusiastic, active Aries, where it will journey until June 6th. Thanks to its recent retrograde, Venus already journeyed through Aries, from Feb. 3rd until April 2nd. Think back to that period: What came up for you how around you relate to others -- and what you value?

Until June 6th, we are going to feel passionate about connecting to others. We are ready to make a new start: if you are single, this could be a great chance to start something new (all things being equal ;-) With Venus in Aries, spontaneity and independence are important to us. You’re not the only one who likes a challenge, so don't make it too easy for others to win you over ;-)

If you are already in a committed relationship, you get a wonderful chance to bring freshness and excitement to your bedroom and "other parts of the house" ;-) We also have more energy than usual; we are more likely to want to get out of the house, and be active with others.

All this is especially true if you are a Taurus, Libra or Aries Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As an Aries, beauty and love will enter your life during this time, you will feel more attractive and you will attract things to you. As a Taurus or Libra, you will feel more energized, passionate and more direct than usual.

Friday late morning, a Mercury/Uranus alignment in 25 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 10:49am EDT. We started to feel this aspect around last Saturday (April 22nd); due to Mercury's retrograde phase, it will be strong until May 14th

We felt this aspect once before this year, from March 24th - 28th; think back to that time, and see if any progressive thoughts and ideas occurred to you. What did you discover about yourself? What insights did you receive?

With this alignment, an important insight is building, something new is preparing to enter consciousness – and we are getting the urge to move forward. We might experience some really unusual conversations. Our mind could be flooded with new information and ideas, and we most likely feel enthusiastic and excited by these fresh ideas and insights.

It's a time when we could achieve real breakthroughs in the form of ideas, communications, and the mind in general — but coupled with the possibility of edginess and impatience toward those who don’t “get” our new insights. Nervousness, impulsivity and fidgeting could be a by-product of this alignment as well.

Computers and electronics may suddenly become important. We'll likely have flashes of insight into our own mental workings, original thoughts, etc. As best as you can, and as much as you want to, stay open to other dimensions and stay grounded in your body. That way, all that energy can move through you, without shaking you to the core ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius  (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus rules Aquarius).

Saturday (April 29th): Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 9:48pm EDT (see Thursday late evening for details).

Saturday at 5:28pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a almost 4.5 hours, until 9:48pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to find a balance between connecting with others, and focusing on your attitudes and perspectives towards life.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday evening ahead of time ;-)

Saturday at 9:48pm EDT, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancerwhere it will journey until Monday night/Tuesday very early morning.

Also on Saturday, Mercury starts to slow down again (“stationing”). It’s getting ready to come to a halt, ending its 3-week retrograde phase, on Wednesday, May 3rd (more on that next week…). For the next 9 days (until May 7th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others -- especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready for travel somewhere -- especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 22-27 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra, or Cancer.

Sunday (April 30th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Saturday late evening for more details).

Sunday late afternoon, a long-term, challenging Saturn/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:26pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from March 5th on; and due to the Saturn retrograde, it will be strong until June 1st.

This is the second time within the past 4 months that this aspect has become exact, the first being Nov. 30th - Feb. 27th. What came up for you in regards to embracing your insecurities around that time (especially around Dec. 28th)? Did you gain insight into your own humanity? Or perhaps your healing journey?

We are being invited to grow and stretch ourselves when it comes to two very different energies: our sensitivities and insecurities, versus our inner sense of authority and "getting it right".

This can stir up feelings of inadequacy -- that we're not competent or effective... We could be confronted with limitations -- our own, and those of others. A sense of separation or loneliness is very possible with this aspect.

The desire to "walk the talk" is quite strong -- but those feelings of inadequacy may leave us feeling blocked, with low energy and confidence. "Slow and steady" is the key here -- and it's critical to keep checking our beliefs and keeping up our emotional/spiritual connections.

Work on self-acceptance and self-compassion; be honest with yourself about your own limitations and your expectations towards others (or life in general). This may take some time, but eventually it will yield a healthy, realistic approach toward our sensitivities and insecurities.

Questions you can ask yourself during this aspect: What am I learning about my inner resilience? What if respecting myself fully was just a decision? What attitudes do I need to eliminate to achieve greater alignment with my own humanity and my world?

Here's a few bonus questions: Could I maybe meet other people's demands, rules or expectations, without feeling limited or stopped by them? Could the same be true about my own (demands, rules and expectations)? What might humility do for me?

Sunday all day, if you set Intentions Wednesday, Thursday or Friday morning -- after the New Moon became exact -- today will be the best time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to me?

A head's up for next Monday (May 1st): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Saturday late evening for more details). At 4:23pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 8 hours, until 12:12am EDT (Monday night/Tuesday every early morning). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Bust Through Conditioned Thought -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., April 17 - Sun., April 23rd, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Daylight Savings Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

Last week was a collision of unexpected incidents. No doubt, this was connected both to the Full Moon's energy, and particularly to the Sun/Uranus alignment in Aries. Change is definitely on the horizon -- no denying it -- and with all the stationary planets last week, there was plenty of awareness to be had. As a matter of fact, it was a little tough to integrate all that was occurring -- however necessary.

For me personally, the word "surrender" comes to mind; this is in fact a word that is used a lot when discussing Pluto. It helps to remember that Pluto only takes away what is no longer in alignment with our Soul's passion -- anything that is toxic or keeping us stuck. What have you been letting go of that is toxic?

Before we get to this week's forecast:
If you missed our FORECASTING FORUM last week, feel free to watch the recording of this wonderful event. Please note that we talked about the Mercury Retrograde in Taurus, and the Pluto Station and Retrograde in Capricorn in relationship to our own Birth charts.

If you want to know how these planetary movements are impacting you personally, click here and add the Monthly Forecasting Forum to your cart ;-) Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the "90-minute" webinar — I put “90-minute” in quotation marks, because with all the wonderful questions we received, the last webinar went on a lot longer than 90 minutes ;-)

This week's headline items: the last Quarter Moon in Capricorn becomes exact on Wednesday morning; later that day, the Sun changes signs from Aries to Taurus. Pluto comes to a halt on Thursday morning, starting its 5-month retrograde phase; in the afternoon, Mercury (now retrograde) re-enters Aries. Friday morning finds Mars changing signs from Taurus to Gemini; last but not least, the Venus station ends on Saturday.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Wednesday early morning (for 1 hours), Friday afternoon (for almost 1.5 hours), and Sunday late afternoon (for 3 hours).

Monday (April 17th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day. It will journey there until Wednesday morning. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures -- and those stories we tell ourselves about "what was", rather than what actually "is". It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".

As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?

Monday morning, a harmonious Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:43am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday evening on; it will be strong until this Wednesday evening.

Commitment and discipline are the keys to understanding our heart's desire right now. We face life on life's terms and feel up to doing so (especially when it comes to our personal desires). What could we achieve if we brought 5% more passion to our long-term plans?

Paradoxically, we can also bring a more mature approach to exploring our "inner teenager” energy: How might a supportive "inner parent" help your "inner teenager”? Could that inner teen feel independent without getting reckless?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Aries, Sagittarius, Leo, or 0-1 degree of Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo? Or your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Capricorn (the Sun rules Leo; Saturn rules Capricorn)? If either of those is true, you can expect to be more blessed by this aspect :-)

Monday late evening, a somewhat challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 10:14pm EDT. It will contribute to feeling either a lack of physical energy, or a need to focus on our commitments. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday on; it will be strong until this Thursday.

We feel uneasy about something, sort of awkward -- and we need to make a choice -- first though, we must develop an inner awareness of what exactly needs adjusting.Too much work and too narrow a spectrum of experimentation could leave us feeling de-energized right now.

We create our own limits; slowing and quieting down helps us see this. If we have a better sense of time, we can do less and achieve more -- and we can do this as soon as we manage our expectations and start to use our judgment for discernment, rather than “compare and despair”. Could you let go, just for now, of wanting to rank things in order?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 26-29 degrees of Taurus or Sagittarius? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Capricorn (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Saturn rules Capricorn)

Tuesday (April 18th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day (see Monday for details).

Tuesday starts out with lots of energy very early in the morning, and brings a strong desire for accomplishment, but we need to adjust and innovate when working with others -- flexibility is key ;-)

As the morning moves along, our focus intensifies -- we might even get a little obsessed with a project or task -- as best as you can, take breaks and don't forget to practice a little self-care ;-)

Towards Tuesday evening, we need to adjust and innovate again, this time when communicating our personal goals or passions. We may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, we have a need for mature, diligent accomplishment.

On the other hand, we also desire rapid progress toward personal goals -- we may want to move a mile-a-minute, impatiently and enthusiastically hurling ourselves forward into the unknown... Again, flexibility is key ;-)

Wednesday (April 19th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornuntil 6:53am EDT (see Monday for details).

Wednesday at 5:57am EDT, the last Quarter Moon in 29 degrees of Capricorn becomes exact. The Moon in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in pioneering, fast-paced Aries. This may bring up some challenges. However, it also energizes us to look at what needs to be completed -- and what needs to be changed.

This Moon phase brings us closer to April 26th New Moon in Taurus. With the last Quarter Moon, rather than starting major new projects, it serves us to take a look at what needs to be completed. What -- if anything -- needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since March 27th? What did it mean for you?

As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 27-29 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Libra, Cancer, or 0-2 degrees of Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio or Leo? If so, you are more affected by this month's last Quarter Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.

Also at 5:57am EDT, we enter a brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts until 6:52am EDT. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire for enthusiastic and horizon-broadening connection with like-minded people. As best as you can, take a break, and simply notice what arises in consciousness.

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments (and find creative solutions) when it comes to resolving these desires. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Wednesday at 6:52am EDT, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Friday afternoon. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.

For the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs... indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.

The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.

Wednesday at 5:27pm EDT, the Sun changes signs from adventurous, speedy Aries to peaceful, steady Taurus, where it will journey until May 20th. For the next four weeks our attention is on physical pleasures and we are more aware of our need for comfort and consistency. The Sun in Taurus reminds us to slow down and savor the moment.

We are able to be very consistent and methodical, which helps us bring groundedness and reality to our new goals. We focus on what is most important to us. What do you value most? How do you feel about yourself and what you bring to the table?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Taurus Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Taurus, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo your vitality will most likely slow down and you might indulge in physical or material pleasures.

Thursday (April 20th) What a day! Get ready... The Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Wednesday morning for details).

Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning, a Sun/Mercury alignment in 0 degrees of Taurus becomes exact at 1:54am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on and it will be strong until Friday evening. When the Sun and Mercury come together, we are especially sharp, communicative, and open. This aspect indicates a confident mind and an analytical approach to life.

Intelligence and communication abilities are strong. We can expect a no-nonsense approach to decision-making. Ideas tend to be practical and useful.

That said, we may not listen as well as the other speaks -- we might be too busy thinking about what to say next. Words matter now, so choose them wisely: If people hung on your every word, what would you say then? What would you hold back from saying?

Our opinions are usually strong during this time; we like to think independently and are proud of our opinions and our thoughts. For this reason, our egos might get bruised if we are not "heard" -- if our opinions are pushed aside, ignored or criticized. As best as you can, express yourself fully, knowing that others may have different opinions… and that's ok.

We may dig in our heals, but find it does not serve us, so choose your battles wisely and seek peace wherever possible.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 28-29 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn, Cancer or 0-2 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo, Gemini or Virgo (the Sun rules Leo; Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo)

Thursday at 8:49am EDT, Pluto comes to a halt in 19 degrees of Capricorn, starting its 5-month retrograde phase (until Sept. 28th). Pluto's energy will continue to move more slowly until May 2nd.

When an outer planet stops, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around May 2nd).

During the retrograde phase, we will have a chance to connect to anything associated with Pluto from within. Pluto is associated with our soul purpose, as well as the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within -- and with our deepest passions. This forced us to see what really motivates us.

For the next 5 months, we need to tap into inner authenticity, embracing the entirety of ourselves — the good, the bad, and the ugly. Paradoxically, this will help us let go of any habits, behaviors or fears that are holding us back from feeling fully empowered from within.

We are invited to tap into our passion, strength and Soul's purpose from the inside out. This deeper connection will support us in our journey towards authenticity. We can then build long-term goals that are aligned with our Soul's purpose. Ask yourself: What do I "just know", deep down?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 13-17 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Libra or Aries? If so,  you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)

Due to its retrograde, Mercury re-enters Aries oThursday at 1:37pm EDTIt will journey through this courageous sign until May 16th; while it does so, our thinking speeds up again and we become eager once again for new endeavors. Think back to March 13th - 31st (especially March 26-31). This was the last time Mercury moved through Aries, before its retrograde phase: What came up during that time that needs to be readdressed?

Given that we want to achieve our goals as quickly as possible, we may come off impulsive and impatient, and must therefore speak (and get answers) faster. Nothing stands in our way now: we are ready, we are brave, we want what we want and we want it now ;-)

As you can perhaps imagine, we need to watch out for blurting things out prematurely or inappropriately; as best as you can, choose your words carefully and pause before responding ;-)

Remember, everyone else is feeling the Aries energy quite strongly too, so do your best to not take it personally if someone ignores what you want, or says something insensitive. Keep the focus on yourself instead -- and take responsibility for how you are communicating or expressing yourself.

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries? If so, you will feel especially chatty for the next 3.5 weeks. Your mental energy will be quite active and you feel the need to connect to others -- whether it be in person, via email, over the phone or via social media. New ideas and new connections are very likely.

Do you have your Ascendent or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo? If so, you will feel a tremendous energy burst for the next 3.5 weeks: really enthusiastic and physically strong.

Friday (April 21st): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius until 3:43pm EDT (see Wednesday morning for details).

Friday at 6:32am EDT,Mars moves from peaceful, steady Taurus into curious, quick-witted Gemini. It will remain there until June 4th.For the next 6 weeks, we might have difficulty sustaining our interest, embarking on multiple projects at once, spreading ourselves too thin.

Even more than at other times, we will benefit from focusing our energies, rather than scattering them. We seek mental activities: sharing, teaching, learning, writing, etc.

A sharpened wit can lead to "victory" in arguments during this time. We can be talkative, to the point of verbal diarrhea. We definitely want to talk things through, getting everything off our chests, especially when we're fired up. Our versatility and general disdain for routine keeps us busy. We may feel quite fidgety, full of nervous energy; this could be at the root of physical ups and downs.

All this is especially true if you are an Aries, Scorpio or Gemini Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Gemini, you will feel more energized, passionate and direct -- and also physically stronger -- than usual. As an Aries or Scorpio, you will be chattier and busier for the next 6 weeks :-)

Friday morning, a challenging Venus/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 7:09am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from April 3rd on; due to Venus's and Saturn's station phases, it will be strong until April 28th. This is the second square to become exact between Venus and Saturn within the last two weeks -- and the third one this year.

The first one was at the end of January/ the second one occurred on April 8th. Think back to those periods: what shifted for you in regards to relationships (or relating)? Was there any change in the value you place on yourself and others? What about the level of responsibility you are able to take, when it comes to your own perspective on relationships?

This aspectasks us to stretch and grow beyond how we've known ourselves in our relationships up to this point -- a process of maturing that requires we adjust and stay flexible.

On the one hand, we want to make spiritual or romantic connections, while going with the flow, feeling our way through. On the other hand, we feel a sharp need to explore “the truth” about ourselves/others/life — to determine what beliefs align with our own direct experience. Do your best to make space for both of these urges.

We tend to be more cautious when it comes to relationships and finances now -- and in fact, this is not the best time to start a brand-new romantic relationship. Financially though, this aspect can be eye-opening; if we can find creative ways to deal with money, we will grow from it.

The key is to approach things in both realms with intuition and maturity. Pushing will most likely not get us what we want: better to go one step at a time, slow and steady; that way, we can come back later with a stronger approach and more mature expectations.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following: 25-29 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo, Gemini or 0 degrees of Aries, Capricorn, Libra or Cancer? If so, you will feel this aspect quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Capricorn (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Friday at 2:23pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a almost 1.5 hours, until 3:43pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to connect to like-minded people and inspire them. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.

Friday at 3:43pm EDT, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until Sunday evening. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all -- but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But... that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn't match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It's also a great time for releasing fears -- especially the ones based on a sense of separation -- and experiencing "oneness". Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them -- in fact, "going with the flow" is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Saturday (April 22nd): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Friday afternoon for details).

Saturday: Venus resumes her normal pace through the sky, ending her station. What has come up in the last two weeks around receiving? Around the things your Soul values? What has come up for you around your relationship to your intuitive self? How closely are you in touch with your intuitive/feeling body? To your compassionate heart?

Also on Saturday night/Sunday very early morning, the Balsamic Moon phase begins --when the Moon reaches 21.5 degrees of Pisces. This lasts until next week Wednesday, when the New Moon in Taurus becomes exact (for those of you who are impatiently waiting for my New Moon video, click here after April 20th). We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our intuition.

For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes. This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Sunday (April 23rd): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 8:32pm EDT (see Friday afternoon for details).

On Sunday at 5:34pm EDT, we enter a 3-hour Moon void of course (VoC) (it lasts until 8:32pm EDT). Use this intuitive time to connect with others (and yourself) with gentleness and compassion. Creative and spiritual connections are favored right now.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday evening ahead of time ;-)

Sunday at 8:32pm EDT, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Tuesday late evening.

A head's up for next Monday (April 24th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day (see Sunday late afternoon for details). Early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 4:15am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday evening on; it will be strong until next week Friday.More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Last week, I felt very focused, yet also in "flow". No doubt Saturn's station and Venus being back in Pisces had a lot to do with that — Venus is my chart ruler, so I felt more connected to the feminine and intuitive. Although it was not exactly aligned, the Venus/Chiron connection made space for emotional and spiritual healing around relationships and self-worth.

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Very last chance to sign up for my MONTHLY FORECASTING FORUM, thisWednesdayApril 12th, 2017 at 2pm PDT/5pm EDT/10pm GMT (London-time). Please note thatMercury started its 3-week retrograde phase on Sunday, and we have the PlutoRetrograde in Capricorn coming up (starts April 20th).

We will look at these planetary movements in relationship to our own birth charts. If you want to know how all of this is going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording. This week's headline items: the Full Moon in Libra becomes exact on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning. Just as with last week, there's a lot of station-related action going on: Saturn ends its station on Friday, the Pluto station intensifies on Saturday, Venus comes to a halt on Saturday morning (starting to move direct again), finally, on Sunday, Mercury ends its station as well.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday afternoon (for almost 4.5 hours), Thursday night/Friday very early morning (for a little over 6 hours), and Sunday afternoon (for a little over 4.5 hours).

Monday (April 10th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra. It will journey there until Tuesday evening.

This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact Monday night/Tuesday very early morning). Also, tomorrow (Tuesday all day) and Wednesday before 4pm EDT, is your last chance to sign up for Wednesday's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we have a Full Moon in Libra on Monday night/Tuesday very early morning, and a Pluto station/retrograde in Capricorn coming up! If you want to know how these energies are going to impact you personally, join me live or sign up for the mp4-video recording.

Other than booking a reading with me, this is the highest level of support you can get -- and it's only $24 for the 90-minute webinar. To register now, click here

If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 4pm EDT on Wednesday you will receive the mp4-video recording of the webinar.

Tuesday (April 11th): the Moon remains inharmony-loving, balance-seeking Librauntil 6:42pm EDT (see Monday for details).

As mentioned above, the entrance of the Moon into Libra started the energetic build up towards the Full Moon; this will be exact Wednesday night/Tuesday very early morning at 2:08am EDT; the Sun opposes the Moonin 21.5 degrees of Libra

There is a lot to cover with this Full Moon, as it is also connected to the cardinal T-square involving Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto... And while all this is going on, Mercury, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto are all stationing (i.e. moving slower, therefore more exalted)! I will get into this in more detail in a moment… For more details on this intense Full Moon click here to watch my video on the subject

Ok… Let’s dive in :-)

For the next two weeks, we are looking for balance; we are more aware than ever that something needs to be brought into alignment, to be integrated. The balance in question is between ourselves -- symbolized by Aries -- and others (Libra). It's important here to realize that relationships (symbolized by Libra) are essential to our existence -- and play a crucial role in defining and reaching our personal goals/desires (represented by Aries).

Of course, all of this will resonate more with you if you have personal planets (or angles) within 2 degrees of the Full Moon… I’ll circle back to that later (you may also want to watch my 30-minute class on: "How to Read Your Birth Chart” if you haven't seen it yet)

We are also invited to look at the balance of feminine and masculine within ourselves, our relationships, and our world. Where has this gone out of balance? What happens when there is too much of either? Or too little?

The Sun in Aries is connecting to Uranus -- this planet symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality and progress. Uranus in Aries (aligned with the Sun) asks us to break away from whatever has prevented us from stepping up our game. Shifts are happening everywhere; it's time to develop some courage and awareness: Where do you want to step up? If you made a big leap, where might you land?

This is also a call to look at the roles that “assertion" and “independence” play in our lives. We're called to find ways to develop a healthy sense of self -- total honesty is crucial here, both with ourselves and with others. Allow the higher vibrations of Aries to shine through: courage, openness towards the new, directness, a healthy sense of identity. The spotlight is on us...

The Moon in Libraaligns with Jupiter: this planet symbolizes growth, expansion and new perspectives. This emphasizes the need for new perspectives in our collaborations: objectivity, consideration, equality, balance, justice, etc. As you can tell, the spotlight swings over to our relationships.

Uranus opposite the Moon invites us to pay attention both to feelings (and emotional responses) and to insights about personal progress and future visions we identify with. How might we express ourselves truthfully, without compromise… all while considering other people's feelings and needs?

Pluto in Capricorn is the focal point of the cardinal T-square,that also involves the Full Moon this time around. We very well may experience some tension and intensity for the next two weeks. The Pluto station amplifies this even further, putting extra pressure on our need for change, expansion and "making it" in the world. The solution to this intense combo is Self-care!

Pluto moving so slowly, and getting ready for its 5-month retrograde phase, makes its energy “exalted” (heightened). This has us investigating anything dysfunctional within our businesses, governments, or long-term goals. We are being asked to eliminate or transform whatever is no longer in alignment with our Soul’s passions.

We will go into this in more detail in our next Forecasting Forum — if you want to know how the Pluto Station is impacting you personally, feel free to join us, as we will apply what's coming up to our own birth charts. The forum is on Wednesday, April 12th at 5pm EDT/10pm BST (London time zone); for more info or to register, click here

One way or another, we've been talking about the above-mentioned T-Square since November of last year — as you can see, this is a process, not an event. Do your best to observe what needs to happen in your life, if you’re to make the best out of this transformative aspect -- what’s working, what isn’t? What needs to change? What demands a new perspective? Where do we need to let go of fears and attachments?

This last question is important: the Pluto station adds a clear message to this Full Moon... “Let go of anything that doesn’t empower you or your long-term goals!”

Deep structural changes need to occur -- in our own lives, and collectively. Ask yourself: What am I building long-term, that supports my Soul Purpose, my passion? What am I building that doesn’t? Another question you can ask yourself: What role does “FEAR” play in my life? Where do I have attachments to the past out of fear? Where do I feel a need to protect myself, keep things close to the vest?

To have a better idea what this T-square is all about, I invite you to read my article on the subject -- if you haven't seen it yet. You can also email us at  info@AstrologerCoach.com and write "T-Square" in the subject line -- my assistant will email you the article ;-)

Mars (the ruler of Aries), is currently in Taurus; it's making a trine to Pluto in Capricorn and a sextile to the Chiron in Pisces. The trine to Pluto is definitely a strong energy for steady, practical, down-to-earth work on a project. As best as you can, leverage this powerful mixture of energies to go after the things you have been wanting for a while now... and as Pluto is involved, use it all to fulfill on your Soul's purpose.

Anything that we feel deeply passionate about and that feels in complete alignment with our deepest core, is very likely part of our Soul's journey. What moves you? What turns you on? Not just on a physical level but also on an emotional and spiritual level? If you had all the resources that you needed, what might you choose to manifest?

The sextile to Chiron could inspire us to take actions towards healing our emotional and spiritual wounds. If we can allow the inner masculine (taking action, giving, etc.) to protect and co-create with the feminine (allowing for intuition, receiving, etc.), we will go further than we can imagine.

This also asks us to slow down a little, check in with our intuition and values, and let us be guided to the next action. Compassion and humility can really help with this process. Ask yourself: When I'm in the flow of things, am I "the doer" or does "doing" simply happen? (...and really check -- don't assume :-)

Mars also inconjuncts the Moon in Libra. We feel uneasy about something for the next two weeks, and we must develop an inner awareness of what exactly needs adjusting. Ask yourself: What's a realistic promise that I could make to others at this time? A good place to "aim" this question is toward "relating" or "collaborating".

Also: If I were to be absolutely realistic and honest with myself, how much can I really do for others without compromising my own values -- in other words, while still honoring myself?

Venus (the ruler of Libra) is currently in Pisces, aligned with Chiron in Pisces, and making a square to Saturn in Sagittarius. The conjunction to Chiron gives us a nudge towards learning to love ourselves and healing deep fears of being "not good enough". This healing happens much faster when we are open to forgiving and embracing ourselves exactly as we are (and are not). Where are you in this process?

The square to Saturn is a process of maturing that requires we adjust and stay flexible. It also lets us know that it's wise to double-check our assumptions and belief systems... Do any of them need updating?

With Venus in Pisces, we are invited to bring an open heart to this process -- and to have compassion toward ourselves. As best you can, take it one day at a time… something very profound is happening to us -- we have the opportunity to change our relationships (and whole lives) for the better!

For the next two weeks, keep asking yourself: What shifts might be possible for me, if I just let my mind and heart stay open? Where would self-responsibility and intuitive knowingness meet?

Do your best to observe any recurring thoughts -- those are very powerful -- they become beliefs, and beliefs create our reality, so take responsibility for them. If our beliefs about ourselves, others and the world are low in vibration, we will only be able to create something with a low vibration.

Look to see which beliefs serve you (and which don't). As best as you can, align with your higher truth, your higher path -- using your intuition and maturity is highly recommended at this time.

The Venus and Saturn station amplifies this even further. Ask yourself: What assumptions do I make about myself, others, life? How can I embody my truth 5% more fully? What might be possible if I decided to "walk my talk"? How can my intuition support me in all of this? When do I ignore my intuitive senses? What "shoulds" are playing out, when I'm not listening to the voice of my heart/intuition?

With this many stations and squares going on in this Full Moon chart, as best as you can, remember that each of us is experiencing these energies in one way or another... Some may feel overwhelmed or anxious, some may even have vertigo :-) As best as you can therefore, practice self-care, be compassionate with yourself and others; if someone doesn't return your call, it’s not personal... they may not be able to ;-)

We will go over the upcoming retrograde phases in more detail in the next Forecasting Forum -- if you want to know how the Mercury Retrograde and Pluto Station/Retrograde will impact you personally, feel free to join us -- we will apply what's coming up to our own birth charts. The next Forum will be on Wednesday, April 12th at 2pm PT/5pm ET/10pm BST (London-time); for more info or to register, click here

To sum it all up for this Full Moon: Double-check whether you are coming from love or fear - and remember that impatience is a form of fear as well (fear that the timing or pace of things is not "right" ;-) For more details on this intense Full Moon click here and watch my video on the subject

The Natal houses in your birth chart affected by this Full Moon indicate which areas of your life are up for development and for the next two weeks. If you'd like to dig in to this, I want to once again recommend my 30-minute class on: "How to Read Your Birth Chart: https://goo.gl/hQdVHj. This is also a great video to watch before joining my Monthly Forecasting Forums!

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 17-24 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer? If so, you may feel the effects of this Full Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign inLeoorCancer(the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Tuesday at 2:19pm EDT,we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for almost 4.5 hours, until 6:42pm EDT. Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to collaborate with others and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to your exploration of life. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 6:42pm EDT, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Friday morning. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.

Wednesday (April 12th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio all day (see Tuesday evening for details).

For most of Wednesday (especially towards the evening), we are likely to experience a sense of ease and flow, but may need to slow down and allow our feelings to come through. A gentle approach is best. We feel good when coming from the heart and making deeper connections with others. Being open to receiving and going with the flow are key! (Moon in Scorpio trines Neptune in Pisces)

Also, Wednesday until 4pm EDT, is your very last chance to sign up for today's FORECASTING FORUM. Please note that we just had the Full Moon in Libra yesterday (Monday night/Tuesday very early morning), the Mercury Retrograde in Taurus began last Sunday, and the Pluto retrograde in Capricorn is coming up!

Thursday (April 13th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio all day (see Tuesday evening for details).

Thursday morning, we feel good about making deeper connections; we'll have an opportunity to become fully committed to a project or task, something that might serve us long-term.  (Moon in Scorpio sextiles Pluto in Capricorn)  Towards the evening, we may feel uneasy about something. An inner awareness needs to be developed if we’re to see what needs adjusting. (Moon in Scorpio inconjuncts Sun and Uranus in Aries)

Thursday late evening: we are capable being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves and others. A gentle approach is best. (Moon in Scorpio trines Chiron in Pisces)

Thursday night/Friday very early morning at 12:08am EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that last for a little over 6 hours, until  6:27am EDT (Friday morning). If you are awake during this intuitive time, use it to connect with others (and with yourself) on an authentic, deep emotional level. How might intuition guide you at this time? As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday night and Friday early morning ahead of time ;-)

Also onThursday night/Friday very early morning, a Sun/Uranus alignment in 24.5 degrees of Aries becomes exact at 1:30am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Monday evening on; it will be strong until Sunday night. This alignment brings confidence and a desire to connect with others through a common cause. We may have sudden insights into our friendships -- and how they connect us to a bigger vision. We know that if we want to move to the next level, we need to strategize with others.

We are also asked to connect to the unusual. Our creative core is awakened: We feel compelled to express ourselves in unique (or at least unconventional) ways. Our consciousness expands, we are receptive to new ways of thinking, doing, and living; this increased openness to all that is new and different may bring unexpected opportunities.

As I mentioned in the Full Moon video I posted earlier this week, Uranus symbolizes the desire for freedom, equality and progress. Uranus in Aries, aligned with the Sun, asks us to break away from whatever keeps us from stepping up our game. Shifts are happening everywhere. It's time to develop some courage and awareness: Where do you want to step up? If you made a big leap, where might you land?

One thing to remember: Keeping the heart and mind open could make a big difference to the experience of this alignment.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn? If so, you will be more affected by this alignment. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Aquarius (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Friday (April 14th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothingScorpio andVoCuntil 6:27am EDT (see Tuesday evening and Thursday night for details).

Friday at 6:27am EDT, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journeyuntil Sunday evening. We're strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time -- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you aren't overdoing or overstating things.

Also on Friday: although now retrograde, Saturn resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station. What has come up in the last two weeks, around commitment to a higher truth, and the need to be mature in your world view? How truthful are you, regarding your belief systems? The retrograde phase is a good time to do some internal work in these areas (the retrograde ends on Aug. 25th).

We now have 4.5 months to go over recently built belief structures, to see if they are aligned with our inner truth. We are also now ready to contemplate solutions for whatever was "in our face" from March 26th until now -- solutions that work well both with our inner truth and our outer reality.

Saturday (April 15th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Friday morning for details)

Saturday morning, at 6:18am EDT, Venus comes to a halt at almost 27 degrees of Pisces— turning direct after having been retrograde since March 4th. Whether by Sun-sign or Ascendent, Taurus and Libra people will feel a sense of relief as Venus starts speeding up again (Venus will still be moving slower until April 22nd), helping us integrate the realizations of the past six weeks. This will lead to a greater sense of alignment between our inner values and our intuitive sense of relationships and finance.

The period immediately before and after a planet’s retrograde phase is referred to as the “shadow phase”; at these times, the planet travels once more through the degrees of a sign that it had already passed through before and during its Retrograde phase. Venus is usually in its shadow for about four weeks prior to a retrograde, and for almost five weeks after.

In this case, Venus will be in her shadow phaseuntil May 18th; this is territory she already visited in March/April. Come May 18, she will reach 13 degrees of Aries, finally going beyond where she has been before.

Between now and May 18th, we have a chance to go over all that we have learned internally in the past 6 weeks, and then apply it to our external reality. This is a chance to address anything that we have reassessed around our values, our relationships (including the relationship we have with ourselves and spirit), and our gifts and talents.

Also on Saturday, Pluto's station intensifies, as the planet is further slowing down. It is getting ready to come to a halt on April 20th, getting ready for its 5-month retrograde phase. This makes its energy more exalted in the sky for the next 2.5 weeks...When an outer planet stations, its energy gets more pronounced; we become more aware of its impact on us -- and this can sometimes cause discomfort. We are being asked to hang out with that discomfort until the planet's energy has picked up speed again (around May 2nd).

Pluto is associated with our soul purpose. It relates to the process of empowerment -- our ability to feel empowered from within, through the experience of wholeness -- and to our deepest passions. It is also associated with transformation, for example our ability to transform darkness into light or "death" into "rebirth". Those terms don't necessarily refer to physical death or rebirth, but rather some sort of ending and beginning.

To get to a place of truthfulness on the soul level, Pluto will remove what no longer serves us, replacing it with something new -- something fully aligned with our deepest passions and soul purpose. When we resist the deep changes Pluto brings, we tend to suffer; on the other hand, when we surrender and allow for that process to take place, we will move to a place of greater authenticity -- and feel a newness and empowerment  from within.

As best as you can, take a closer look at whatever is "in your face" for the next 2.5 weeks. Look for what might no longer be in alignment with your soul's purpose (your deep authentic Self). Ask yourself: Where am I holding on, out of fear? What habits, behaviors or fears are holding me back from feeling fully empowered from within? What would it look like, if I was fully aligned with my Soul-purpose? How would it feel? When we confront our fears we very often discover hidden gifts and strengths.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 17-21 degrees of Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra? If so, you will feel this station more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Scorpio (Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Sunday (April 16th) is a big day(astrologically speaking):the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 7:05pm EDT (see Friday morning for details)

Sunday morning, an opportune Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 8:24am EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on and it will be strong until next week Tuesday night. This is an opportunity to accept the validity of our anger and desire, so that we can learn to express these energies naturally and confidently.

This could also inspire us to make resolutions and take actions towards healing our emotional and spiritual wounds. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant or any personal planets in 24-29 degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries (Mars rules Aries)

Sunday at 2:26pm EDT, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts a little over 4.5 hours, until 7:05pm EDT. Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term projects that involve a truthful perspective or an adventure into the truth. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Sunday afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Sunday evening, at 7:05pm EDT, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Wednesday morning.

Sunday late evening, an opportune Venus/Mars aspect becomes exact at 9:26pm EDT. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will be strong until next week Thursday. This aspect helps intimate or close personal relationships along, bringing passion and sexiness to them -- and if we're not in a long-term committed relationship, we'll get some help in forming one.

This could also be a good time for financial ventures, social life, artistic pursuits, and pleasure in general. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- those aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 25-29 degrees of Pisces, Taurus, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aries (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Mars is the ruler of Aries)

Also onSunday: Mercury resumes its normal pace through the sky, ending its station -- but moving backward through the sky, as seen from Earth (that’s what “retrograde” refers to). We have a chance to do some internal work on any thinking and/or communication issues that came up over the last couple of weeks, that were connected to our finances and sense of self-worth.

A head's up for next Monday (April 17th): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricornall day (see Sunday evening for details). In the morning,a harmonious Sun/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 8:43am EDT.In the late evening,a somewhat challenging Mars/Saturn aspect becomes exact at 10:14pm EDT. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
