Station to Station -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 27th - Sun., Dec. 3rd, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

The theme of last week for me was "go with the flow and celebrate others!"

This week's headline items include lots of "station-related" matters... Mercury starts station on Monday, preparing for its 3-week retrograde phase; Chiron's intensifies on Wednesday, Mercury's does the same on Friday (prior to it halting very late Saturday), and Neptune's ends on Saturday. In other news, Venus will change signs (from Scorpio to Sagittarius) on Friday early morning and the Full SuperMoon in Gemini becomes exact on Sunday, late in the morning.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday morning (for almost 4.5 hours), Thursday afternoon (for 2 hours), and Friday evening (for 19.5 hours).

Monday (November 27th): the Moon remains increative, sensitive Pisces all day. It will journey there until Tuesday late morning. This Moon placement often finds us more sensitive, intuitive, idealistic and imaginative than normal. We also have a greater capacity for compassion, sympathy and affection for all -- but especially for those who suffer or can be regarded as the underdog.

But... that very idealism could also be our downfall at this time: We tend to see the best in everyone and everything, and when reality doesn't match our idyllic vision, we might feel upset and even victimized by those harsh realities. A way out of this is to channel our idealism into spiritual or creative endeavors.

It's also a great time for releasing fears -- especially the ones based on a sense of separation -- and experiencing "oneness". Feelings tend to flow more freely; as best as you can, let them -- in fact, "going with the flow" is the best way to go for the next couple of days.

Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:48am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Sunday (Nov. 26th) on; it will remain strong until Monday night/Tuesday early morning. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

Learning to let go of the past means being willing to release relationships we have outgrown. Learning ways to abruptly alter our circumstances without emotional turmoil: This is the way Uranus’s energy urges us to grow. We need freedom "within" our relationships, not "from" them.

It's also time to reevaluate the ways we've imprisoned ourselves in protective behaviors and then rebel against them. While "Different" is not always "improved", change is essential to our evolutionary process.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 24-26 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Aquarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Also on Monday, Mercury starts to slow down (“station”) in a late degree of Sagittarius, preparing to come to a halt this coming Sunday, Dec. 3rd (when it will begin its 3-week retrograde phase). More on that later...

For the next 9 days (until Dec. 6th), we need to be patient with ourselves and others -- especially if there is a connection with communication or transportation, and their associated technologies. This is not the best time to start anything brand-new, especially if it contains new information that needs to be processed.

We might experience delays or misunderstandings, and things tend to feel "off" or stagnant. It might be a good idea to give yourself some extra time to get ready or travel somewhere -- especially if you intend to use public transportation or drive (For more details on Mercury Shadow Phases and Retrogrades, click here)

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with Gemini or Virgo as our Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets (or angles) in 27-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, or 0 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra.

Tuesday (Nov. 28th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces until 11:30am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday very early morning, a Mercury/Saturn alignment in 27.5 degrees of Sagittarius becomes exact at 1:58am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday (Nov. 24th) on; and due to Mercury's station phase, it will remain strong until next week Saturday (Dec. 9th).

This connection strengthens our ability to make realistic decisions connected to our need for expansion and learning. We are more able to come from a place of integrity and maturity when planning anything long-term.

We prefer to have serious conversations with others that move us forward, closer to a common goal. It's an excellent period for reviewing, reassessing, perfecting, and improving our thinking patterns, beliefs, and  foreign affairs. Even though we might have a more negative or critical outlook initially, this alignment serves the purpose of reaching a balanced, mature, and realistic state.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or personal planets in 24-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo or Pisces, or 0-1 degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Capricorn (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn).

Tuesday at 7:09am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 4.5 hours, until 11:30am EST. We are pulled in two quite different directions: On the one hand, we experience a desire for inner silence, emotional oneness, and the flow of creativity through us. On the other hand, we want to explore our belief structures and share our discoveries.

We may therefore feel anxious or restless; as best as you can, slow down, acknowledge what is, know that all is well in each "now moment".

Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and find creative solutions when it comes to these energies. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday morning ahead of time ;-)

Tuesday at 11:30am EST, the Moon moves into pioneering, fast-paced Aries, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. Life is an adventure, we're more open to new ideas, and have great enthusiasm for new projects. Patience is certainly not our strong suit at this time, but we can decide quickly, and act immediately.

Our independence and dynamism are important to us right now, so we may find it hard to be disciplined or accept advice at this time; in general, our responses to others tend to be more assertive or even aggressive. If you find your foot tapping, try hitting the gym, or finding other ways to burn off the body's excess energy.

Wednesday (Nov. 29th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries all day  (see Tuesday late morning for details).

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning starts out harmoniously and with a commitment towards personal achievement and exploration.

Later (in the evening), we are invited to make adjustments and find creative solutions around personal desires and needs, versus our deep passion and focus on long-term goals. As best as you can, allow yourself to make space for both; flexibility and adaptability are key if we mean to move forward with our plans and projects...

Also on Wednesday, the Chiron station intensifies, as Chiron comes to a halt on next week Tuesday (Dec. 5th); we will feel effects of the station until Dec. 18th. As mentioned in last week's forecast already, Chiron's energies are more exalted during this period.

Chiron is the wounded healer; currently in 24º of Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds. Chiron represents our inner insecurities, those self-conscious and wounded places. Chiron also represents the inner wound of abandonment and our need to "make it on our own".

We are invited to approach these wounds on a holistic level, to heal them such that others are healed thereby. This is accomplished very simply and naturally when we work with the true beauty and strength of this energy: Compassion. Having compassion for our own wounds heals them and allows healing compassion for the wounds we now see in others.

What emotional or spiritual sore spots could you acknowledge? What needs to heal? At a different level, this time might also see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC. or MC) in the following: 21-28 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius, or 0 degrees of Aries, Libra, Cancer or Capricorn will feel this station more strongly.

Thursday (Nov. 30th): the Moon remains in pioneering, fast-paced Aries until 3:38pm EST (see Tuesday late morning for details).

Thursday early morning, a somewhat challenging Mars/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 3:26am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday evening on; it will remain strong until Friday evening. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

We might feel insecure about our heart's desires. What if you could simply allow yourself to be human and know that you are doing the best you can? What if everything had divine timing -- no matter how fast or slow?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 23-25 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)

Thursday at 1:37pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 2 hours, until 3:38pm EST. Use this intuitive time to connect to people that can enthusiastically support your projects and share with them what you have going on.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at 3:38pm EST, the Moon moves into steady, peaceful Taurus, where it will be until Saturday late afternoon. We love all physical comforts, prefer consistency, and would rather stick with what we know works well. In other words: change is not our favorite thing and "rushing things" goes against our grain.

What is our favorite thing for the next two days? It's probably, slowing down and getting in touch with whatever delights our senses ;-)

Friday (December 1st): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday at 4:14am EST, Venus changes signs from intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio to adventurous, freedom-loving Sagittarius. It will journey there until Dec. 25th; until then, we feel more social, and inclined especially to connect to people from different backgrounds and countries. We like to explore new things, whether food or social gatherings: if it's exotic, it's great!

We are more likely to take some risks now with others, and to say what's on our mind. Our relationships need to be connected to adventure -- a trip might be just the thing. Getting away from our routines and exploring life... hey, why not? :-)

Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more adventurous and spontaneous for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to explore new things and get a new perspective on life. If you are a Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.

Friday early morning, a Mars/Uranus opposition becomes exact at 5:05am EST. We started to feel this aspect last Sunday, early in the evening (Nov. 26th); it will remain strong until next Tuesday (early evening, Dec 5th).

We may have a strong urge to "step into our warrior", setting aside our feelings, and blazing our own trail. Of course, the "warrior" energy can provoke conflict, within and without; we need to find balance between courageously (or even heedlessly) charging forward, versus approval-seeking.

One way to find this balance is to remember that we need other people, if we are to achieve our goals and make necessary changes -- but co-dependent tendencies can be left behind on our journey towards interdependency. What does healthy interdependency look like to you?

Do your best to channel the "choppy" energy in a productive way -- physical exercise is great for this, as is consciously breaking away from relationships or situations that have limited you -- and we may well experience sudden insights in connection to other people or a situation in our lives. As best as you can, stay grounded and keep breathing regularly :-)

Think back to late February (2017), when Mars aligned with Uranus in 22º of Aries: What got started around then? With Mars opposing Uranus now, we can start to see the fruits of the seeds that were planted back then -- or at least are more aware how far we have come. In other words: What has emerged since late February of this year?

Do you have your Ascendant or personal planets in 21-28 degrees of Libra, Aries, Cancer or Capricorn? If so, you will feel the effects of this opposition more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Aquarius (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Friday at 8:53pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 19.5 hours, until Saturday (Dec 2nd) at 4:21pm EST. Use this intuitive time to empower each other in regards to earthly issues and mutually support each other in practical ways. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Friday evening/night and Saturday day ahead of time ;-)

Saturday (Dec. 2nd): the Moon remains in steady, peaceful Taurus until 4:21pm EST (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Saturday at 4:21pm EST, the Moon moves into chatty, versatile Gemini, where it will journey until Monday afternoon (Dec. 4th).  For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way...

The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the Full Moon (exact on Sunday late monring). Click here to watch my Full Moon video

Saturday evening, a harmonious Jupiter/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 9:19pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Saturday (Nov. 18th) evening on; it will remain strong until Sunday (Dec. 17th) night. This brings the potential for spiritual inspiration.

Extravagance or exaggeration are possible during this time; routine is particularly unsatisfying, we easily detour from the practical path. On the other hand, this is a great time for connecting to music or spiritual endeavors -- and for enthusiastic heart-centered connection, especially within our intimate relationships.

Our intuition is at an all-time high, as is our ability to explore our traumas and demons; we are also more able to resolve anything that is no longer empowering to us personally -- in particular, we can dissolve the fears that have kept us from deepening our relationships -- and this is also true on a collective level.

Generosity, compassion and faith will likely increase; we more readily and easily make personal sacrifices for what we see as the greater good. We have a deeper sense that all of us are part of the human family -- a sense of the unity that is possible between people, nations and all living things on this planet.

This can be a chance to increase our creativity, perceptiveness and empathy; it's a time to allow for things to unfold and for seeing the perfection in everything that is.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces, or Cancer? If so, you will be more blessed by this aspect; this is also true for those of us with the Ascendant or Sun-sign in Sagittarius, Capricorn or Pisces (Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; Neptune is the ruler of Pisces)

Also on Saturday, Neptune resumes its normal pace through the sky, after a 5-month retrograde phase -- it is ending its station. What has come up in the last four weeks around resting, trusting and allowing? How closely are you in touch with your intuition?

Sunday (Dec. 3rd): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day (see Saturday late afternoon for details).

Sunday at 2:43am EST, Mercury comes to a still stand in 29º of Sagittarius (starting its 3-week retrograde phase), slowing things down tremendously from Saturday morning until Monday. Give yourself extra time to go to work this morning or to get things done. If you are traveling today, just simply go with the flow… you'll get there... eventually ;-) The same is true when it comes to all our technological devices…

This retrograde phase will last until Dec. 22nd. People worry about Mercury retrogrades, but it’s important not to stop one's life during these times. As mentioned above, certain things may take longer -- but a retrograde gives us a chance to resolve things that have been keeping us from living our lives in a more wholesome way -- especially things that came up within the past three weeks.

Take time to investigate your own thought processes... ask yourself: What's too busy in my life? What if I got really clear about that?

For the next three weeks, we'll get a chance to explore our belief systems -- to connect from within to what we believe about ourselves, others, and life. It's also an opening to readdress communications, learning experiences, and mental conditioning.

This is an internal process -- a chance to honor and reorganize our thoughts, working from the inside to the outside -- rethinking retooling and releasing what no longer works.

We also get a chance to readdress previous explorations of the truth about life, connecting from within to whatever needs a larger point of view or some kind of revision -- we may even get to reorganize our life, and explore new avenues that are better aligned with our beliefs (if we do the inner work of exploring what work for us and what doesn't).

As always: with Mercury retrograde, always read the small print -- and re-read a contract before signing (if you have to sign something) -- or ask another person for a second opinion... Basically, during these periods, it's best to be aware of any details that we might have overlooked... and check in with our intuition... and stay open to the possibility of renegotiation or adjustments, down the line!

In general, Mercury Retrograde is a great time for reevaluating and reorganizing. This is especially true for our thought patterns and decisions (particularly those made in the 3 weeks prior to the start of the retrograde) -- but it's true of our lives in general: we can reach a clearer understanding as to what works, and what doesn’t, and what needs to change.

Reconnecting with old friends, clients and family members (especially siblings) is also favored at this time …

Mercury also represents our day-to-day mind; this too is experienced more internally at this time. When it comes to communication, make sure that what you say, write and hear is the same as the intended meaning -- and use the spell-checker ;-)

Another thing to take into consideration: how does each Mercury retrograde phase affect your personal birth chart. Do you have any personal planets that Mercury will align with during its retrograde journey? The houses of your chart each represent different areas of your life -- which of the houses in your chart is affected by this retrograde?

If you have Gemini or Virgo as your Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant), or personal planets (or angles) that are in 12-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces, Virgo (or zero degrees of Capricorn, Cancer, Aries or Libra)you can expect to feel the effect of the Mercury retrograde phase more strongly.

Sunday morning, a challenging Sun/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 6:44am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday morning (Nov. 30th) on; it will remain strong until next week Wednesday morning (Dec 5th). This aspect asks us to stretch and grow: On the one hand we want to use our mind to feel confident and centered, on the other hand, we are compelled to listen to our intuition and let our imagination go wild.

As you can probably guess, we'll experience more "flow" in areas that favor intuition and imagination, such as creativity or spirituality. If possible, hold off on plans for more "practical" things.

We might feel confused; but we are being asked to have faith in the infinite support we receive every day from the universe — whether our mind understands it or not (what we understand with the mind is very different from what we comprehend with the heart).

Seeing through the illusion of separation from the divine is perhaps the greatest perspective shift of all. What might be possible if we allowed ourselves to shift from our conditioning to feeling into the truth of who we are?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini or Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Pisces (the Sun rules Leo, Neptune rules Pisces).

Sunday late morning, at 10:47am EST, the Full Moon (SuperMoon) in 11.5 degrees of Gemini becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Gemini Saturday late afternoon.  Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details

This will be another "Super" Full Moon -- the last one of this year. SuperMoons occur when the Moon is either Full or New while at its closest distance to the Earth; they are therefore more powerful.

This often means an increase in the intensity of emotional reactions, coupled with greater awareness around any issues connected to the energies of the particular Full Moon in question -- in this case, that would be the Sagittarius/Gemini polarity. We'll seek balance and integration around those poles -- something needs to be brought into alignment -- so let's look at them in more detail:

Sagittarius repoints us from facts and learned knowledge to life experience and the wisdom gained thereby -- it's interested in the bigger picture, the truth about life.

Gemini, on the other hand, wants us to stay connected to our immediate environment, our communities, and our day-to-day mind. It likes processing and sharing information (as fast and as much as possible) and is interested in the spoken and written word.

We are being asked to integrate the Gemini mind-energy/information/conditioning with the wisdom-energy that comes from life's experiences and the quest for a larger truth or bigger understanding (Sagittarius).

Several hours before the Full Moon becomes exact, Mercury (ruler of Gemini) comes to a halt in 29 degrees of Sagittarius (starting its 3-week retrograde phase); as this happens, its energy will be more exalted, but also turned inward.

Our communications, sharing and processing of information (all related to Mercury) will feel internally heightened. We have an opportunity to review and rewrite all the stories we tell ourselves about life, intimate relationships, financial partnerships... and what we believe is the larger truth.

Ask yourself: What do I merely think, and what do I really know, in those areas of my life? What gets through the filters? What maybe doesn't? What might be possible if I simply expanded my view?

Mercury also aligns with Saturn in Sagittarius, and squares Chiron in Pisces. This alignment to Saturn calls on us to make mature and responsible choices around Sagittarius's search for higher meaning -- and to take responsibility for our attitudes and limiting beliefs.

Questions you can ask yourself for the next two weeks: What guides my choices? What do I learn about life every day, just by living it? How does the experience of my current reality inform what I believe about life? What is the best way to handle "foreign" affairs? (matters that are unfamiliar or different from our typical day-to-day)

Saturn will change signs from Sagittarius to Capricorn on Dec. 19th; I will be talking in more detail about this planetary movement in my next Monthly Forecasting Forum. If you’ve been thinking about taking part in the Dec. 6th Forum, click here to register

Mercury's involvement in the Saturn/Chiron Square brings a more rational dimension to this aspect -- one that we have been feeling most of this year already.

Ask yourself: What beliefs about life keep me stuck in my inner child's wounds? What if I took responsibility for those wounds and insecurities? Do the stories I tell myself about life open my heart and mind? Do they make me more loving or more fearful? Do they enrich my life or narrow it? What if I rewrote the stories that have left me feeling separate and insecure?

Chiron is exalted in the sky as it gets ready to come to halt only two days after the Full Moon becomes exact. This adds an extra layer of vulnerability around our wounds. What if a compassionate approach to my inner healing process actually benefited me and others?

To watch a 15-minute except from our most recent Forum about the Neptune and Chiron Station phases, click here

Jupiter (Ruler of Sagittarius), currently in Scorpio, is making a trine to Neptune in Pisces and a quincunx to the Moon in Gemini

Jupiter's Trine to Neptune provides a nice support for the release of old patterns, beliefs and behaviors that we developed to protect ourselves from resurfacing old traumas.

What might be possible for those old traumas if I brought a good dose of self-compassion and a dust of trust in my own divinity to their transformation? How might my perspectives shift if I allowed my heart to open towards life?

Feel free to also watch my Jupiter in Scorpio webinar for more insight: to watch a 30-minute except, click here To purchase the whole 90-plus minute webinar, click here

Jupiter's quincunx to the Moon might bring some internal discomfort; we need to make inner adjustments here and we are not necessarily sure how to do this...

Ask yourself: What if it were possible to connect on a deep, emotional level and share my highest truth authentically within fast, rational, mental exchanges? How might an expanded view on mental and emotional connections support me right now?

This Full Moon chart also has a T-square with Neptune in Pisces as the focal point: Neptune squaring the Moon in Gemini, and the Sun in Sagittarius. This T-square asks us to stretch and grow; we are invited to release anything that no longer supports our growth -- individually and collectively.

As the "empty leg" of this T-square lands in Virgo, we are invited to create daily routines that support our connection with our inner divinity. Could I make time for silence, surrender, and self-reflection? Even if it's just a few minutes every day?

Rather than coming from a place of "good or bad", "right or wrong", ask yourself: What do I see when I look at this through a neutral lens? Could I try being kind (heart-energy) and clear (mind-energy) at the same time?

With so many planets in mutable signs, we might feel restless and pulled in many directions. It's all definitely keeping us busy, but it could also bring up feelings of being ungrounded or overwhelmed. Ask yourself: Am I feeling overwhelmed?

If you find that you are, ask yourself: Could I allow myself to hear the "me" beyond the mind chatter and even the external noise? Could I trust the subtle messages of my intuitive Self?

Following our inner guidance on a daily basis is going to be very important, as is releasing any victim-based thinking -- and the best way to notice victim mentality is simply to catch ourselves when we blame others (or "life") for our current experiences -- if you catch yourself doing this, acknowledge it gently and be kind to yourself (we all do it from time to time... it's human).

As best as you can for the next two weeks, take breaks or at least slow down a little, allow your mind to relax. It’s important to explore ways to stay connected with your inner divinity. Seek tools or people to help you with that exploration -- any form of meditation, music/ sound therapy, walks in nature, breathing exercises, simply practicing being in the here and now… If you can manage even a little of this on a daily basis, it will likely be very helpful.

For this Full Moon and the next two weeks, you could ask yourself: Am I ready to let go of what I would "like" to be true? What is "fact" and what is “fiction"? What is "truth" -- does it exist? Know that your consciousness, your love, your light makes a difference, not only to those around you, but to the world. Feel free to watch my Full Moon video for more details

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 9-13 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo and Pisces? If so, you are more affected by this month's Full Moon. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

A head's up for next Monday (Dec. 4th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 3:37pm EST (see Saturday late afternoon for details). At 2:13pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 1 hour, until 3:37pm EST. At that time, the Moon moves into Cancer, where it will journey until next week Wednesday afternoon. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

Take in Helpful Feedback -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 20th - Sun., Nov. 26th, 2017

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

The theme of last week for me was: "let's not think about it, let's do it!" Mars/Pluto square anyone? I have to say, the ability to focus and get sh*t done was incredible :-)) But at the end of the day... also quite exhausting -- that need for feeling nurtured was not to be overlooked...

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
Feel free to check out my 30-minute excerpt from my webinar about Jupiter's passage through intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio, until Nov. 2018!

And if you want to know how that will impact you personally, feel free to buy the whole 90+ min. webinar on the subject --  click here  -- we talked about what to expect for the next 12 months, and how it all applies to our own birth charts ;-)

This week's headline items: on Monday evening, the Sun squares the degree of the Aug. 21st Solar Eclipse; the Sun changes signs (from Scorpio into Sagittarius) on Tuesday late evening; on Thursday afternoon, it's time to take actions on our New Moon Intentions; Neptune comes to a halt on Wednesday morning, ending its 5-month retrograde phase; Chiron starts its Station phase on Saturday; and finally, the first Quarter Moon in Pisces becomes exact on Sunday early afternoon.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday evening (for for almost 7 hours), Thursday early morning (for a little over 9.5 hours), and Saturday late evening (for 5.5 hours).

Monday (November 20th): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day. It will journey there until Tuesday very early morning. We're strongly motivated to explore and learn. We're not likely to be big fans of routine -- diversity and new adventures work best at this time -- we're also physically restless and need to burn that off with activity and physical exercise.

We tend to feel more open, optimistic and inspired -- but we also have a high degree of independence, which means we'd rather inspire others to do things our way, than take orders. Inspiring others could come easier than normal, as we can see the bigger picture, leaving us confident that others will agree with us, once they see what we see.

As best as you can, speak your truth without assuming that everyone is on the same page as you. Improvisation works well for us at this time, as we are spontaneous and love living on the edge -- just watch out you aren't overdoing or overstating things.

If you haven't set your New Moon Intentions yet, today (Monday) until 6:42am EST is the best time to do so... If you'd like some input on how to do that, check out this article -- you could also (re-)watch my New Moon video

Monday at 7:26pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 7 hours, until 2:14am EST (Tuesday very early morning). Use this intuitive time to focus on long-term projects that involve a truthful perspective or an adventure into the truth.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday evening and night ahead of time ;-)

Also on Monday evening, around 7:30pm EST, the Sun squares the degree of the Aug. 21st Solar Eclipse. We are at a turning point. Our direct experience is our most valuable resource, especially if we allow ourselves to take in helpful feedback. How has your perception of yourself, others, and life shifted since Aug. 21st?

Tuesday (Nov. 21st): the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius until 2:14am EST (see Monday for details).

Tuesday at 2:14am EST, the Moon moves into practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn, where it will journey until Thursday afternoon. We tend to be more realistic, serious, cautious; this can support practical endeavors and financial matters.

Our ambition surges and brings with it a need for structure and planning; when you add in the pragmatism this aspect supports, you can see how this could be a very productive time for business and long-term goals. Our reputation becomes very important to us.

As best as you can during this aspect, avoid "should-ing" on yourself. Take the pressure off, perhaps by saying "I am doing the best I can and that's all I can ever do" ;-)

Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn; it's transiting through Sagittarius right now, making this a great time to explore limiting beliefs and bust through conditioned thought structures -- and those stories we tell ourselves about "what was", rather than what actually "is". It's also a great time to take a more serious look at the "meaning of life".

As best as you can, be authentic about your beliefs: Do they actually match your direct experience of life -- as it is for you now, rather than 5 or 10 years ago? What is true as of now? What is not?

Tuesday morning, an opportune Venus/Pluto aspectbecomes exact at 6:29am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Sunday on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday evening. This aspect brings an opportunity for new insights into relationships and love. There is a chance for strong physical attractions.

This could be a powerful and uplifting time for our romantic relationships -- and for our pocketbook. Remember: this is an "opportunity" -- opportunities aren't necessarily handed to us, we have to make them happen.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (MC) or any personal planets in 15-20 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Scorpio (Venus rules Taurus and Libra; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio).

Tuesday at 10:05pm EST, the Sun changes signs from passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio to adventurous, optimistic, freedom-loving Sagittarius. The Sun will journey here until Dec. 21st. For the next four weeks, we may feel a little more restless than usual. We are more aware of our sense of humor and our love for freedom. Our approach to life at this time tends to be direct and honest.

We may want to connect to people from all walks of life right now, just so we can learn about others. We tend to feel more optimistic during this time; this may get us into trouble if we go overboard and only take an idealistic point of view. Wanting to learn, explore and have fun gives us vitality and zest for life. What would open you up to a new adventure?

All this is especially true if you are a Leo or Sagittarius Sun-sign or Rising-sign. As a Sagittarius, you will feel a good dose of confidence and playfulness in the next four weeks; as a Leo, you are more adventurous and restless than usual…exploring something new might be just the thing for you to do.

Wednesday (Nov. 22nd): the Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn all day (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, we have an opportunity to soften our need for accomplishment with a gentler, more intuitive approach.

Wednesdayearly afternoon, our focus intensifies -- we might even get a little obsessed with a project or task -- as best as you can, take breaks and don't forget to practice a little self-care ;-)

Wednesdaylate afternoon/early evening, we have the opportunity to make meaningful connections that could support our long-term goals.

Wednesday evening starts out with lots of energy, and brings a strong desire for accomplishment, but we need to adjust and innovate when working with others -- flexibility is key ;-)

Wednesday at 9:21am EST, after a 5-month retrograde, Neptune comes to a halt in 11.5 degrees of Pisces and starts to move forward again. The emotional nature of Neptune feels confusing and overwhelming at times. As Neptune will be moving through Pisces until 2025, our understanding of interconnectedness is going to grow; our collective spiritual and emotional sides will slowly evolve.

We can see how connected we are to our Higher Self/The Universe/Source. What's more, we have an opportunity to dissolve any barriers between us and our Soul's guidance. Are we sensing our Soul's desire for love and oneness to the fullest? Are we connecting to our intuition? Is anything keeping us from experiencing the flow of life?

As Neptune slowly starts to pick up speed again, it will bring our focus back to the outside world. We are now ready to implement the things we have been connecting to internally for the past 5 months. What did you discover about your feelings, your intuition and your own divinity?

Do you have your Ascendent, your Career point or any of your personal planets in 9-14 degrees of Pisces, Gemini, Virgo or Sagittarius? If you do, you may feel the effects of the Neptune station more than others.

This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Pisces (Neptune rules Pisces): This is a great time to use what you learned in the last 5 months about your connection to Source -- and perhaps to allow yourself to connect more fully to the flow of life, and let yourself be inspired — even more than most other people.

Feel free to watch this 15-min. excerpt of my most recent webinar. We talked about November's Neptune and Chiron Station phases in relationship to our own Birth charts... enjoy!

Thursday (Nov. 23rd) is Thanksgiving Day in the US. In that vein, I would like to give thanks for all the wonderful people I know and connect with every day. Just recently, I was saying to my husband how grateful I am that my direct experience when connecting with people is almost entirely one of love, openness and generosity of spirit -- rather than the conflict and deterioration so often portrayed in the media.

The Moon remains in practical, accomplishment-oriented Capricorn until 3:14pm EST (see Tuesday very early morning for details).

Thursday at 5:33am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 9.5 hours, until 3:14pm EST. You may be aware of two seemingly conflicting desires: On the one hand, a need for serious, diligent accomplishment -- and on the other, a desire to break free and rebel against obligations.

As best as you can, take some breaks, and "let your freak flag fly" -- just for a moment -- and revel in it! As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Thursday morning and early afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Thursday at 3:14pm EST, the Moon moves into freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius, where it will journey until Sunday very early morning. With this Moon placement, we often feel emotionally detached; when we do connect to our feelings, it's typically from a cerebral, intellectual place. We need a cause or project that resonates -- preferably one where we can connect with like-minded people.

For the next couple of days, we'll tend to be more eccentric or experimental; future-related issues like politics or education call to us now, as do unusual or even esoteric subjects like Astrology, UFOs... indeed anything from outer space. Our scientific approach to things leans on originality and ingenuity; we definitely love being unconventional.

The increased value we place on personal and emotional independence could make us come off as indifferent or cold in one-on-one interactions. That said, we can still be friendly and kind, provided we aren't pushed into doing something conventional or unethical.

If you set your New MoonIntentions last Saturday or Sunday, soon after the New Moon became exact, Thursday afternoon after 3:14pm EST, will be a great time to take relevant actions. If you wrote your intentions down, go back and take another look at what came through intuitively. If you didn’t write anything down, get quiet for a moment and check in with yourself: What actions are calling to you?

Friday (Nov. 24th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Friday late morning, a challenging Mercury/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 9:53am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday afternoon on; it will remain strong until Monday evening (Nov 27th). This combination might bring up some insecurities in our verbal, in-person or email interactions.

That said, this could also be an opportunity for healing; we are energized to move past harsh criticism of ourselves or others, towards more loving and compassionate structures for thinking and communicating. As best as you can, stretch yourself -- and be open to bringing love and understanding to it all (and that includes you) :-)

Chiron's Station phase begins tomorrow -- and this provides an important opportunity for healing. Take a look at my Chiron workshop for some healing and understanding about your own inner wounded child -- you can click here to purchase -- or watch the 15-minute excerpt from my most recent Forum about the Neptune and Chiron Station phases: click here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point or any personal planets in 21-27 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini or Virgo (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo).

Saturday (Nov. 25th): the Moon remains in freedom-loving, forward-thinking Aquarius all day (see Thursday afternoon for details).

Saturday early morning, a harmonious Mercury/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 5:56am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday early morning on (Nov. 22nd); it will remain strong until next week Wednesday (Nov. 29th).  This aspect supports a connection between our higher mind and our day-to-day mind. We are able to receive inspiration from higher places and maybe even look into the future.

We are able to communicate our vision for a better future; insights arise from these communications. Original, creative insights and ideas can appear out of nowhere; as best as you can, stay open to these unique "downloads" -- they might change how you see and proceed with life ;-)

This is a good time to communicate online, engage in computer-related activities or scientific projects, and also for anything metaphysical. Group activities like Meetups are great things to be involved with right now -- especially if they allow us to share our vision for a better future.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-28 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will feel especially blessed by this connection. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aquarius (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius)

Saturday at 9:37pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 5.5 hours, until Sunday (Nov 26th) at 3:04am EST. This is an intuitive time that presents an opportunity to connect to innovative ideas and unique world-views in an adult way -- so if you are awake at this time, connect with like-minded people and explore new commitments.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday late evening, and night ahead of time ;-)

Also on Saturday, Chiron starts its station in 24 degrees of Pisces. It is slowing down as it gets ready, after its 5-month retrograde phase, to move forward again on Dec. 5th. We will feel the effects of its station until Dec. 18th; its energies are more exalted during this period.

Chiron is the wounded healer; in Pisces, our attention is guided towards our emotional and spiritual wounds.

What needs your compassion/love? What needs to heal? At a different level, this time could also see an increased emphasis on water as a global and environmental issue.

Those of us with personal planets and points (ASC or MC) in 22-26 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini and Sagittarius will feel this station more strongly.

Sunday (Nov. 26th) at 3:04am EST, the Moon moves into creative, sensitive Pisces, where it will journey until next week Tuesday, late morning.

This Moon placement starts the build up towards the first Quarter Moon (exact later this afternoon).

Sunday early afternoon, at 12:03pm EST, the first Quarter Moon in 4.5 degrees of Pisces becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Pisces very early this morning. The Moon in creative, sensitive, compassionate Pisces makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius.

We feel compelled to take action. Last week on Nov. 18th, the New Moon in Scorpio become exact: "Seeds" planted then are probably "sprouting" by now -- and making their first real contact with the outside world. This is therefore a time to stretch and grow -- and create some forward momentum. We may feel anxious or unusually busy.

As best as you can, go one breath at a time. Allow for changes, remain flexible (as much as possible), and find creative solutions for your day-to-day interactions with others.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in any of the following: 2-7 degrees of Pisces, Sagittarius, Virgo or Gemini? If so, you will feel the effects of this first Quarter Moon more strongly than otherwise. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

Sunday late afternoon, a harmonious Venus/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 4:22pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from this Friday on; it will remain strong until next Tuesday night (Nov. 28th). This brings the ability for compassion and understanding towards others. We are able also to heal some wounds from the past.

We are more willing to be vulnerable, as we trust that the other person has our best interest at heart. We also more easily allow for our own humanity and limitations as we relate to others and are more forgiving towards them and ourselves. How does this show up for you?

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in the following placements: 22-28 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you are more blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra).

A head's up for next Monday (Nov. 27th): the Moon remains in creative, sensitive Pisces all day (see Sunday very early morning for details). Monday morning, a somewhat challenging Venus/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 6:48am EST. We will start to feel this aspect from Sunday (Nov. 26th) on; it will remain strong until Monday night/Tuesday morning (Nov. 28/29th). Also on Monday, Mercury begins its station phase in 28-29 degrees of Sagittarius until Dec. 6th. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)

The Need To Achieve -- Astrology Forecast for Mon., Nov. 13th - Sun., Nov. 19th, 2017.

Please note that all times given below are Eastern Standard Time -- to change the listed times to your own timezone, I recommend clicking here for the time and date converter

The theme of last week for me was going one day at a time and doing the best I could... I felt a union between my physical, emotional, mental, and energetic body... it was really kind of beautiful.

Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:
If you missed last week's FORECASTING FORUM, I recommend you watch this 15-min. excerpt of my webinar. We talked about November's Neptune and Chiron Station phases in relationship to our own Birth charts... enjoy!

This week's headline items: on Tuesday, Mercury enters its "Shadow phase" and the Balsamic Moon phase begins. The Neptune station intensifies on Thursday and the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact on Saturday morning.

There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Monday late morning (for a little over 7.5 hours), Wednesday evening (for almost 7.5 hours), and Saturday morning (for almost 8 hours).

Monday (November 13th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo until 6:26pm EST. Our focus still moves toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.

Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.

Monday very early morning, a Venus/Jupiter alignment in 7 degrees of Scorpio becomes exact at 3:16am EST. We started to feel this aspect from last Friday (Nov. 10th) on; it will remain strong until this Wednesday. This connection brings a certain optimism to social and personal relationships, together with tremendous emotional depth and a desire to go beyond the surface.

Humor plays a big role in our interactions with others, as do tolerance, open-mindedness and enthusiasm.

Financially speaking, things are "trending up" -- we may be able to plump up our pocketbooks. Best investment areas: tax deeds, insurances, anything to with death or sexuality, anything that requires deep healing, or investigation and research.

If you want to know how Jupiter's journey, through intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio impacts you personally, feel free to purchase my webinar on the subject -- we talked about what to expect for the next 12 months and how it applies to our own birth charts. To purchase the video presentation of this webinar, click here To watch a 30-minute except from our most recent Forum, click here

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 4-10 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this alignment quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Sagittarius (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra, so those folks will always be affected more strongly by Venus's movements and aspects)

Monday at 10:45am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 7.5 hours, until 6:26pm EST. Do your best to use this intuitive time to make some adjustments in your life and find creative solutions to seemingly unsolvable situations.

Make space both for looking at your beliefs, to see which ones are sound, and for organizing your daily routines. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Monday late morning until the evening ahead of time ;-)

Monday late afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:48pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday (Nov. 11th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening. This aspect asks us to stretch ourselves and grow.

We may experience a lack of clarity and objectivity. We might make embarrassing errors, neglect important details, or carry some delusions now. Our lack of clarity may make it difficult for others to understand us.

We are more imaginative now, and easily swayed by the opinions of others. We can be highly creative and inspired under this influence, but also overly sensitive, touchy, or impractical. What might a creative approach to life be?

It can be hard to follow routines. Concentrating on monotonous tasks and work (or study that involves attention to detail or rote learning) may also be challenging at this time. As best as you can, be compassionate with yourself and others during these 5 days.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini and Virgo? If so, you are more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Pisces (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Neptune rules Pisces).

Monday at 6:26pm EST, the Moon moves into harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra, whereit will journey until Thursday very early morning.  The energy of the Libra Moon helps us be naturally courteous and diplomatic; we are more polite at this time, as we seek the approval of others.

We very much want to maintain equal, fair relationships at this time, and are therefore open to making compromises and negotiating. These next two days are a great time for mediation -- but our need for peace and accompanying aversion to direct conflict could pull us to "yes" more easily than we might like.

We may also be able see both sides of the equation so well that we can't make decisions. As best as you can, find an inner balance with this and communicate what needs to be said with grace and charm -- even if it's "No" ;-) One last quick note: this is also a great time for anything to do with visual arts.

Tuesday (Nov. 14th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday evening for details).

Tuesday early afternoon, the Balsamic Moon phase begins when the Moon reaches 10 degrees of Libra. This lasts until Saturday morning, when the New Moon in Scorpio becomes exact (more on that later...however, feel free to watch my video on the subject

We are being asked to slow down and get quiet, so we can listen to our inner sensing/intuition. For some of us, this might be a stretch. As best as you can: stay grounded, take a deep breath and exhale any tensions. Rather than starting something brand-new, put all that energy into completing existing projects or processes.

This is also a great time for letting go of whatever no longer serves us. What if you could hear the voice of your inner wisdom? What might it be saying?

Tuesday evening, Mercury enters a 3-week shadow phase, as it reaches 13 degrees of Sagittarius. This precedes the retrograde phase, which will begin on Dec. 3rd in 29 degrees of Sagittarius (more on that in 3 weeks). Mercury's shadow phases usually last 2-3 weeks before and after the Retrograde phase. So what is the "shadow phase"? Click here to read my article on the subject

There are two "shadow" phases -- during these, the planet travels over a part of the sky it will later "revisit". The first "shadow" comes before the planet moves backward; the second comes when the planet starts to catch back up (after going direct).

It's like you went hiking and left something behind at camp. If you went back to get it, you'd have some catching up to do, and would see the same scenery twice or more.

If you want to buy, sell or ship big-ticket items -- especially connected to transportation (cars, airline tickets, etc.) or communication devices (phone, computer, iPad, etc.) -- be aware of the shadow periods as well as the retrograde phases. If possible, get these things done before Mercury enters it's shadow or wait until after the shadow phases are over -- that would be Jan. 10th, 2018 in this case ;-)

Of course, if there is something that must get done during these phases, don't put your whole life on hold, just because Mercury is retrograde or in it's shadow. Sometimes things line up exactly at the right time; as best as you can, trust that it's all "perfect" ;-)

Wednesday (Nov. 15th): the Moon remains in harmony-loving, balance-seeking Libra all day (see Monday evening for details).

Wednesday late afternoon: we are invited to make some internal adjustments. We may want to connect with others, but may also need to tune in and allow for gentleness and understanding -- some healing might be required. What do you hear when you get really quiet?

Wednesday evening: we become more aware that we need to find a balance between the reinvention of our personal goals and passions, versus our need to connect and collaborate with others. What if I could have connection and freedom?

Wednesday at 7:50pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 7.5 hours, until 3:19am EST (Thursday very early morning).Use this intuitive time as an opportunity to collaborate with others and bring a new level of focus and authenticity to your exploration of life.

As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday evening and night ahead of time ;-)

Thursday (Nov. 16th) at 3:19am EST, the Moon moves into passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio, where it will journey until Saturday afternoon. We feel things deeply and have "X-Ray Vision" and "Bullshit-Smelling Abilities" ;-)

Emotional authenticity is extremely important to us at this time; anything less than 100% emotional honesty could be perceived as flat-out dishonest. Once we feel safe trusting someone, we want to merge with them, preferably forever... as long as our trust is never betrayed.

The Moon in Scorpio urges us to uncover our own power. This occurs by a process of subtraction -- it urges us to let go of whatever disempowers us. It's therefore an excellent time to look at "old" fears, limiting habits or emotional attachments, especially those stemming from past traumas.

Moon in Scorpio tends to run right over ambiguity -- it's "in or out", "with us or against us", "love me or leave me". It can therefore be stormy -- a cold winter storm, or a torrid tropical storm of passion, depending on how we "work" the energies :-)

Manipulation and paranoia are the lower vibrations of this aspect, so as best you can, be straightforward -- act in good faith and assume it in others. Best of all, be truly present to the fluctuations of your feelings -- no matter if they're "polite" or "timely". Feelings aren't facts, but they are information -- and heeding them will help you embrace all of who you are.

Know thyself -- and love thyself -- you shall be set free. Remember: Love connects us to the Power within; Fear causes "Force" to show up -- and that's ultimately what disempowers us and others.

Thursday late morning, a harmonious Venus/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 10:21am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday night on; it will remain strong until Saturday evening.  This supports us with the flow of feelings, especially in connection to our relationships and whatever we most value. Bringing compassion to our deepest feelings (including fears) and how we relate to others is going to feel easier at this time.

Our intuition and instincts are strongly supported here too. It becomes easier to trust others and open up to them; we give ourselves permission to receive love and emotional support. As best as you can, let all feelings flow.

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 8-15 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus, Libra or Pisces (Venus is the ruler of Taurus and Libra; Neptune rules Pisces).

Thursday late morning, a harmonious Sun/Chiron aspect becomes exact at 10:48am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Monday on; it will remain strong until Sunday. This creates a supportive environment for healing our insecurities.

We can bring greater awareness to our feelings of shame and any self-deprecating thoughts or behaviors. Paradoxically, we have the chance to shine, largely because we project self-respect and modesty. This is also a great time to recognize that our so-called flaws and insecurities have become some of our best assets and strengths. Where might this be true for you?

Something else that supports healing our insecurity is a sense of pursuing a worthy goal -- this could be something as simple as a desire to learn and grow -- and our goal-orientation helps us overcome any problems that arise while we're on our "mission".

Do you have your Ascendant, Career point (or one or more personal planets) in 21-28 degrees of Scorpio, Pisces or Cancer? If so, you will be most blessed by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo (as the Sun rules Leo)

Also on Thursday, Neptune's station intensifies -- and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until Nov. 28th. It is getting ready to come to a halt and start it's 5-month retrograde phase on Nov. 22nd.

A planet's energies are more exalted during it's "station period"; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.

Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith -- plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film -- while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.

This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn't involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.

If you want to know how the Neptune Station impacts you personally, feel free to purchase our most recent Forecasting Forum -- we applied what's coming up to our own birth charts; to purchase the video presentation of this webinar, click here To watch a 15-minute except from our most recent Forum, click here

Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets and points in 8-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.

Friday (Nov. 17th): The Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio all day (see Thursday very early morning for details).

Friday morning, a somewhat challenging Sun/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 9:04am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday on; it will remain strong until Saturday. This aspect operates more on an internal level. We feel uneasy about something, almost awkward -- and we need to make a choice… so we need to develop inner awareness.

An unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. How flexible could you be, if you really tried? What needs to be shifted internally, so you can stay open and aligned with your unique, divine goals?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 24-27 degrees of Scorpio or Aries? If so, you may be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Leo (the Sun rules Leo; Uranus rules Aquarius)

Friday morning, an opportune Mercury/Mars aspect becomes exact at 9:24am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday night on; it will remain strong until Sunday morning. This provides an opportunity to connect thought to action. Body and mind can align, if we choose. Words and deeds come quickly; we can be not only quick, but brave. As with any opportunity, we have to "take" this one: it will not happen by itself.

What actions are calling to you? How might those actions be connected to a belief you have about life? About relationships? About the balance of your inner masculine and feminine? What might you see if you looked at the bigger picture?

Do you have your Ascendent, Career Point (or any personal planets) in 14-19 degrees of Sagittarius, Libra, Aquarius or Leo? If so, you may be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Gemini, Virgo or Aries (Mercury is the ruler of Gemini and Virgo; Mars rules Aries)

Friday is also the last day before the New Moon becomes exact...This is a great day to let go of what no longer serves us. As best as you can, avoid jumping the gun: Rather than launching into brand-new endeavors or connections, wait until a couple of days has passed after the New Moon.

Some of us might feel a little anxious or nervous today: As best as you can, get quiet and go within… Listen to the silence between the sounds… Find peace in the connection with your innermost and truest Self.

Saturday (Nov. 18th): the Moon remains in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio until 1:59pm EST (see Thursday very early morning for details).

Saturday morning, at 6:42am ESTthe Moon aligns with the Sun in 26 degrees of Scorpio, beginning a new Moon cycle. This New Moon in passionate, all-or-nothing Scorpio brings our focus to our intimate relationships and deepest desires.  If you'd like to learn more about this Lunation, check out my video on the subject :-)

Scorpio is the second water sign of the zodiac, so it deals with not only the depths of our own psyche, but also the ecstasy and traumas of relationships. Venus and Jupiter are joined together in Scorpio at the time of this New Moon; with all these planets in Scorpio, we are powerfully reminded to face our fears, embrace our "Shadow", and thereby reclaim our inner power.

The "Shadow" is all the suppressed, denied or undeveloped qualities of self; when we have yet to fully integrate these disowned aspects, we feel disempowered, and are left vulnerable to manipulation or domination. Furthermore, what we reject in ourselves, we project onto others. That which we disown, owns us; whatever we resist, persists.

Here are some questions to help you reclaim some of those projections: Who really bothers you "out there" in the world? What specifically bothers you about them? How do those characteristics relate to you? Are they doing things you aren't "allowed" to do, even to a tiny, maybe even healthy extent?

What do you joke about, then feel bad about? Noticing our own sense of humor is important, because the shadow also makes itself visible through humor, especially awkward humor...

The spiritual task of Scorpio is to learn to let go of whatever is dead or toxic in our lives. Often, this is connected to past traumas -- once again, fears based either on "what was", or on a possible future in which we would not be ok. All this can be scary and stir up wanting control. The survival brain thinks that control gives us power, certainty, stability... but it's all an illusion based in fear.

Remember: "Fear" is resistance to life, whereas "Love" is acceptance of life, in all its forms. Ask yourself: Is my thinking and feeling based on what's actually here now, or is it connected to my history or possible future scenarios? What is true for you right here, right now? Really look...

The key is to realize that "letting go" is not about loss, but about transformation and (ultimately) about feeling empowered, since every ending is also a new beginning.

Trust thus plays a central role in intimate relationship and authentic connection.

Trust is something that develops over time -- and it can take a little longer for those of us who experienced trauma in the past -- this applies to developing trust in ourselves, as much as with others.

Chiron in Pisces trines the New Moon, which makes it easier for us to experience some healing around our inner wounded child and traumas. We are invited to think of life in terms of cycles of development and realize that we are much more than our mind or body.

Of course, it’s easier sometimes to let go when we know that something else is waiting to come in — perhaps even to see that, in essence, there is no death, only the infinite endings and beginnings.

Ask yourself: What began with an ending? Did I perhaps always already know what the new beginning would look like? What might open up if I trusted to the evolutionary cycles of life... just for now?

Take a look at my Chiron workshop for some healing and understanding about your own inner wounded child -- you can click here to purchase -- or watch a 15-minute except from our most recent Forum about the Neptune and Chiron Station phases: click here

Uranus in Aries quincunxes the New Moon: An unexpected turn of events could leave us uneasy or unsettled. One of my favorite sayings comes to mind: "Correct and continue"...

At any rate, we might detect nervous or anxious energies moving through ourselves for the next serval weeks, so stay as grounded as possible and keep breathing! Remember: the future we are creating can only be fulfilling to the extent we can embrace the present.

Ask yourself: What internal shift would keep me open and aligned with my unique, divine Self -- and with my vision? What if uncertainty was the only certainty? How comfortable could I get with my inner discomfort if that were true?

What if all is well, all the the time, even when I'm experiencing discomfort and uncertainty? Even when it lasts longer than I expected? If I let myself be really flexible, how flexible could I be? What might taking a deep breath do for me right now?

Neptune in Pisces is currently exalted in the sky -- due to its station phase -- and connected beautifully to Venus and Jupiter in Scorpio. This gives us an opportunity to tap more fully into our intuitive "body", release old patterns, beliefs and behaviors with self-compassion, and shift our attention from the head to the heart. Ask yourself: What if I let compassion and courage think and speak on my behalf?

I found this quote that resonates with the energy of Jupiter in Scorpio: “When you get to the end of the light, you know it is time to step into the darkness of the unknown. Faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: either you will be given something solid to stand on, or you will be taught how to fly.” -- Edward Teller

I recommend you watch my "Jupiter in Scorpio" webinar for more insight -- catch a 30-minute except here or purchase the entire webinar here.

Mars was historically considered to be the astrological ruler of  Scorpio, but upon its discovery in the 1930's, Pluto took that title and is thus known as the "modern" ruler of Scorpio

Pluto is now journeying through Capricorn, where it squares Mars in Libra. This combo engages our deepest passions -- and survival instincts. Our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now, we feel prepared to go to any lengths, in order to achieve our goals. We also have the required energy. This is a real need to achieve, a compulsion even; we often find it difficult to stop.

Perhaps surprisingly, empowering others is key! Notice when you try to force your will on others  -- or indeed, any time you push too hard -- because the more you push, the more likely it becomes that life will push back! The fact is, we all need breaks: What if adding a little more nurturing to my day might actually help me achieve more? What if, just as an experiment, I took a 10-min pause?

As mentioned above, Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio and is moving through Libra; it will also make a sextile to Mercury in Sagittarius and the North Node in Leo. These aspects provide an opportunity to connect thought to action -- and action to joy.

Ask yourself: What actions call to me today? How might those actions be connected to a belief I have about life, relationships, the balance of my inner masculine and feminine, or the expression of joy? What if my thoughts and words were really instruments of revelation and empowerment? How would I speak then?

To sum it all up: Flexibility and open-mindedness will definitely help for the next 28 days. Embracing our humanity and practicing self-compassion -- especially in regards to our frustrations and desires for success -- is an opportunity for healing. As best as you can, could you simply allow all resistance to just simply "be" for right now? And, also just for right now, could you simply let go of wanting to resist what is? Could you set all inner tension free, as best you can?

This New Moon in Scorpio invites us to contemplate the cycles of life, the blessings of facing our fears, and the beauty of letting go. Let yourself integrate all of who you are... even those parts that are connected to past trauma and pain. As best as you can, allow those parts to feel safe and loved -- there is nothing to defend or protect -- you are powerful in your own right. Be courageous and kind to yourself!

Also, again this month, in connection with the New Moon, my dear friend Krista Mitchell is back! She is an amazing Spiritual Author, Crystal Teacher, and Mystic, has recorded a Guided Meditation that is custom-tailored to this New Moon's energies. Her Meditations are designed to give you some extra support and guidance for the beginning of each Lunar cycle!

If this resonates, go to Krista's website: www.krista-mitchell.com scroll down to the bottom of her home page, and purchase your mediation there ;-) I have done many guided mediations with Krista, and in my humble opinion, she is TheBest

Do you have your Ascendant (or any personal planets) in 24-28 degrees of Scorpio, Taurus, Leo or Aquarius? If so, you may feel the effects of this New Moon more strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer (the Sun rules Leo; the Moon rules Cancer).

The New Moon is also the best time to set some powerful intentions for this month's Moon cycle. Intentions are best done soon after the New Moon becomes exact -- and definitely not during a Moon void of course phase. So this month, the best time to set intentions would be any time between 1:59pm Saturday afternoon (Nov. 18th) and 6:42am Monday morning (Nov. 20th) -- New York Time/US Eastern Time

If you live in a timezone other than EST (US East Coast-time), feel free to join my Facebook Fanpage or follow me on twitter. I will be posting reminders on Saturday afternoon and evening, Sunday throughout the day and Monday before 6:42am EST, to let you know when it is time to set your intentions ;-)

Part of the reason for this is that on Saturday at 6:42am EST, at the exact same time as the New Moon becomes exact, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for almost 8 hours until 1:59pm EST. Use this intuitive time to simply be still. Connect to your body's wisdom, pamper yourself and others; do your best to articulate for yourself what you need in the moment.

Surprisingly, this will actually bring clarity to what we need from ourselves and others. Finally, as always during VoC, take it easy -- go with the flow. You may also want to plan Saturday morning until early afternoon ahead of time ;-)

Saturday at 1:59pm EST, the Moon moves into optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius, where it will journey until Tuesday very early morning (Nov. 21st).We're strongly motivated to explore and learn.

Sunday (Nov. 19th):  the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittarius all day (see Saturday afternoon for details).

Sunday morning, a challenging Mars/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 7:15am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday (Nov. 14th) on; it will remain strong until next week Thursday evening (Nov. 23rd). Our ambition and drive to succeed are incredibly strong now; we feel prepared to go to any lengths, in order to achieve our goals -- and we have the required energy. It's a real need to achieve, a compulsion even -- we often find it difficult to stop.

This aspect could also lead to power struggles, perhaps with an authority figure, perhaps within ourselves. Problem is, "push" could come to "shove" -- and once in a shoving match, with Mars and Pluto involved, we may not know when enough is enough.

Do your best to tap into the power of the love within. Find creative ways to empower yourself and others. Flexibility is key -- and walking away for 10 minutes might just save you from doing something you later regret -- and also perhaps from burning-out ;-)

Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 14-21 degrees of Libra, Capricorn, Aries or Cancer? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Scorpio (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Pluto rules Scorpio)

Sunday all day: If you haven't gotten around to it yet,set your Intentions for this Moon cycle... If possible, align them with the New Moon energies that I spoke about in my video — feel free to watch it again if you are not sure anymore — click here to watch my video on the New Moon ;-) For more details on how to set New Moon Intentions, click here

A head's up for next Monday (Nov. 20th)the Moon remains in optimistic, adventurous, truth-seeking Sagittariusall day (see Saturday afternoon for details). At 7:26pm EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 6.5 hours, until 2:14am EST (Tuesday very early morning, Nov. 21st). More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
