Last week, I got really present to the fact that I need to bring a healthy masculine/feminine balance to my day-to-day; my conditioned mind is so used to going into the masculine, that I need to be aware and conscious and listen to my body and my intuition, so I can tap into those feminine energies more fully, creating that balance... I really liked this quote from Wikipedia about the Goddess energy: "...the potentiality of masculine being is actuated by the feminine divine."
Before we get to this week's forecast, I have one quick announcement:

This week's headline items: Venus changes signs from Libra to Scorpio on Tuesday morning; the last Quarter Moon in Leo becomes exact on Friday afternoon; Neptune starts to slow down (stationing) on Friday, as it prepares to end it's 5-month retrograde phase; and finally, a long-term Saturn/Uranus Trine becomes exact for the third time this year, early on Saturday morning.
There will also be three Moon VoC phases this week: Tuesday early morning (for 5 minutes), Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning (for a little over 7 hours), and Saturday very early morning (for a little over 7.5 hours).
Monday (November 6th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini all day. It will journey there until Tuesday early morning. For the next two days, we like to learn, connect and interact as much as possible. "Busy" feels good: connecting online, on the phone, or sharing face-to-face, preferably multi-tasking all the way... The one thing we can do without is boredom: If our mind is not engaged in some way, we might as well curl up and play dead :-)
Monday before 4pm EST, is your very last chance to sign up for Monday's FORECASTING FORUM. To register now, click here
In this month's Forum, we'll be covering the relationship of the Neptune and Chiron Station phases to our own birth charts. Neptune starts its station on Nov. 10th, while Chiron will flow suit on Nov. 25th; if you want to know how this is going to impact you personally, join me live, or sign up for the mp4-video presentation.
If you would like to join live, please keep in mind that registration will close an hour before the live event begins, if you register after 4pm EST on Monday you will receive the mp4-video presentation of the webinar.
Tuesday (November 7th): the Moon remains in chatty, versatile Gemini until 5:45am EST (see Sunday early morning for details).
Tuesday at 5:40am EST, we enter a very brief Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for 5 minutes, until 5:45am EST. Use this intuitive time to connect to others and create allegiances. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow.
Tuesday at 5:45am EST, the Moon moves into protective, nurturing Cancer, where it will journey until Thursday morning. With this Moon placement, we are more sensitive to what people say and therefore our feelings are more easily hurt -- so be kind to yourself and others. Self-Care is key for the next two and half days ;-)
Emotional safety is important to us as well; we like connecting to the familiar and we enjoy nurturing ourselves and others -- home and family call to us, for instance. Make sure though, that your glass is filled before letting others drink from it, otherwise you might start to feel drained and resentful.
Tuesday at 6:38am EST, Venus moves from relationship-oriented, harmony-seeking Libra into passionate, intense, all-or-nothing Scorpio. She will journey there until Dec. 25th. Until then, our relationships will get a lot of attention. We have a unique intensity, coupled with a willingness to commit; our actions in love tend to promise deep commitment and sexual pleasure, even if we are not talking about this directly.
Venus in Scorpio seems fearless when it comes to intimacy. We are intensely loyal at this time, and will expect the same from our partner; mistrust is the biggest obstacle to forming a relationship. We feel a need to cut through the fluff and can see others exactly for who they are -- it's like having X-ray vision of the heart. As best as you can, honor this by being straight with others -- especially if it's someone you have (or want to have) a romantic relationship with.
With regards to finances, we are more likely to put our money into things we feel really passionate about. Investments in transformational programs are recommended, as are partnerships in general.
Do you have your Ascendant or Sun-sign in Taurus or Libra? If so, you will feel more passionate and deeply loyal for the next 3.5 weeks; your heart will want to go deeper and connect intimately with others. If you are a Scorpio Sun-sign or Rising-sign, for as long as Venus is in your sign, you will attract more love, abundance and beauty into your life.
Wednesday (November 8th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer all day (see Tuesday early morning for details).
Tuesday night/Wednesday very early morning, we are in a state of “flow” and emotional connection to others; spiritual and creative endeavors are favored.
Wednesday morning starts out with a nice feeling of ease and an ability to trust and connect deeply with others. As best as you can, trust your intuitive sensing right now, allow whatever comes up to be beneficial for you.
Wednesday late morning, we may take an all-or-northing attitude toward others; this could drive some tension or oppositional behaviors... As best you can, remain flexible and practice self-care — take good care of your emotional and physical body -- that way, you'll remain able to empower yourself and others.
Wednesday late evening: we are capable being compassionate and forgiving with ourselves and others. A gentle approach is best.
Wednesday night/Thursday very early morning at 12:14am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 7 hours, until 7:29am EST (Thursday morning). Use this intuitive time to make adjustments and (as best as you can) find creative solutions to seemingly insoluble situations.
Make space both for going after personal projects that you feel passionate about and for taking care of emotional or family issues. As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Wednesday night and Thursday early morning ahead of time ;-)
Thursday (Nov. 9th): the Moon remains in protective, nurturing Cancer until 7:29am EST (see Tuesday early morning for details).
Thursday morning, an opportune Sun/Pluto aspect becomes exact at 7:12am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Tuesday on; it will remain strong until Saturday. This is an opportunity to bring a deeper emotional connection to whatever needs restructuring or rebuilding.
It’s also an opportunity to notice how obsessed we’ve become about manifesting something real -- and to let go of fears connected to our long-term goals. Remember: an opportunity is not automatically given to us; we have to make something of it.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 15-19 degrees of Scorpio, Capricorn, Pisces or Virgo? If so, you will be more aware of this opportunity. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Scorpio (the Sun rules Leo; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio)
Thursday at 7:29am EST, the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo, where it will journey until Saturday late morning. We may lack objectivity and struggle with backing down or compromising. We all love to be admired -- or at the very least acknowledged -- for our greatness :-)
So hand out some compliments -- let people know how proud you are of them, tell them how much you love them. Come from the heart in this and all other things... be honest and authentic, as best you can. Fun, games and romance are a big part of this energy as well. You might also enjoy spending time with little ones.
If there are no "outer children" around, how about getting in touch with your "inner child" -- it's definitely easier for the next two days. What are you most grateful for today? What would be heaps and heaps of fun? What would be so much fun, you let out a tiny squeak, just thinking of it? This Moon placement also starts the build-up towards the last Quarter Moon, exact on Friday afternoon (more about that later...)
Thursday evening, a somewhat challenging Mars/Neptune aspectbecomes exact at 7:10pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Wednesday early morning on; it will remain strong until Saturday. Our idealism and high expectations could lead us into frustrating circumstances that leave us emotionally and physically drained.
Our vitality and emotional resilience increase as we learn how (and where) to get involved in projects we feel passionate about.
That said, we may also have difficulty establishing realistic limits with others and around our own self-expectations; this, combined with a tendency to laziness (especially where exercising good judgment is concerned) could leave us feeling "rudderless" or even overwhelmed. As best as you can therefore, allow for downtime, rest and spiritual connection.
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 10-13 degrees of Libra or Pisces? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aries or Pisces (Mars is the ruler of Aries; Neptune rules Pisces)
Friday (Nov. 10th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo all day (see Thursday morning for details).
Friday afternoon, at 3:36pm EST, the last Quarter Moon in almost 18.5 degrees of Leo becomes exact. We started to feel this aspect build from the moment the Moon entered Leo, on Thursday morning. The Moon in fun and attention-loving Leo makes a challenging aspect to the Sun in private, all-or-nothing Scorpio. This may bring challenges; however, it also energizes us to face what demands completion or change.
This Moon phase brings us closer to Nov. 18th, which will bring the New Moon in Scorpio. During the last Quarter Moon, we are better served by reviewing those projects we began around the last New Moon -- in this case, that would be Oct. 19th -- as opposed to launching new ones. Out of those projects, what needs last-minute adjustments? What did you discover since then? What did it mean for you?
As best as you can, find creative solutions for anything that comes up (whether internally, or with others).
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 16-21 degrees of Leo, Scorpio, Taurus, or Aquarius? If so, you will feel this month's last Quarter Moon quite strongly. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Leo or Cancer, since the Sun rules Leo and the Moon rules Cancer.
Also on Friday, Neptune starts to slow down (and will appear to move more slowly through the sky until Dec. 2nd); it is getting ready to go direct again on Nov. 22nd, when the 5-month retrograde phase it entered on June 16th comes to an end.
A planet's energies are more exalted during it's "station period"; this has even more weight for an outer planet, as they move more slowly and their stations last much longer. This Neptune station is particularly strong, since it occurs in Pisces, its own sign.
Neptune represents things like universal love, our inner divinity, spirituality, inspiration, compassion, faith -- plus creative and imaginative realms such as music or film -- while the shadow side is confusion, illusion and escapism of all kinds. We start to be aware of all those energies more fully in our lives.
This awareness helps us to connect more fully to those energies as they exist within us. We can then see where we need to either embrace them more fully, or connect to them in a healthy way, that doesn't involve getting lost in the murky lower vibrations of their expression.
Some of us will feel the effects of this station more than others: those of us with a Pisces Sun- or Rising-Sign (Ascendant) -- and those of us with personal planets and points in 8-15 degrees of Pisces, Virgo, Gemini or Sagittarius.
Saturday (November 11th): the Moon remains in fun and attention-loving Leo until 11:41am EST (see Thursday morning for details).
Saturday at 3:55am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 7.5 hours, until 11:41am EST. Use this intuitive time to have fun connecting from the heart. This could also be a great time to express our visions for the future.
As always with a Moon VoC, as best as you can, don't start anything brand-new, stick to routine things, or simply go with the flow. You may also want to plan Tuesday evening and night ahead of time ;-)
Saturday early morning, a long-term, harmonious Saturn/Uranus aspect becomes exact at 4:45am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Thursday October 19th on; it will remain strong until Saturday December 2nd.
We actually already experienced this aspect twice in 2017; the first time was at the very beginning of this year and then again on May 19th. It invites us to connect maturity, tradition and discipline to new approaches and thinking styles -- we are less resistant to change.
Now is the time to free ourselves of debilitating habits or beliefs, -- or pluck up the courage to create, experiment, plunge into new territory... We could receive unexpected help from someone who is older or in authority. An unusual teacher could appear.
This aspect offers a chance to take some risks and conduct experiments in totally new ways of living, perceiving, and interacting with others and our environment. We have a chance to awaken and become aware of any areas of restriction and constriction.
In fact, a spirit of openness, curiosity, and “divine discontent” moves through us at this time. We may branch out in an entirely new direction whilst still considering the consequences and taking responsibility for our actions.
As best you can, consider all alternative, unusual, or non-traditional possibilities that arise; solve "old" problems in new ways. Act on hunches, inner nudges, inklings, and information you get from “unofficial" or unusual sources. What would be a wacky way to come at things? What if you turned something upside down?
Do you have your Ascendant, Career Point (or personal planets) in 22-29 degrees of Sagittarius, Aries or Leo? If so, you will be more affected by this aspect. This is also true for those of us who have our Ascendant or Sun-sign in Aquarius or Capricorn (Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius; Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn)
Saturday at 11:41am EST, the Moon moves into detail-oriented, practical Virgo, where it will journey until Monday evening; turning our focus toward the practical and wholesome. We are generous with our time/services and we love to help others. We also have a fondness for science and anything that makes sense in our world -- things and knowledge we can apply and use.
Health might come also into focus at this time. We notice the parts that make up the whole; this is a great time to see if our daily routines (eating, work, self-care, etc.) align with our long-term goals.
Sunday (November 12th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all day(see Saturday late morning for details).
Sunday early morning: we are being asked to stretch and grow -- to undertake a process of adjusting our thinking. You may feel a little scatter-brained or all over the map. As best as you can, stay flexible -- and don't be too hard on yourself.
Sunday morning: seek a balance between head and heart, facts and faith, reason and intuition. That said, if you can achieve that balance, it’s a great day for being of service.
Sunday evening, we can potentially accomplish quite a bit: The Moon in Virgo makes a harmonious aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Virgo and Capricorn are Earth signs, so getting down to business and focusing on the task at hand takes less effort than normal. We are able to tackle anything that requires attention to detail and maybe even implement health routines or other systems that support our long-term goals.
A head's up for nextMonday (Nov. 13th): the Moon remains in detail-oriented, practical Virgo all dayuntil 6:26pm EST (see Saturday late morning for details). Very early morning, a Venus/Jupiter alignment in 7 degrees of Scorpiobecomes exact at 3:16am EST. We started to feel this aspect from Friday (Nov. 10th) on; it will remain strong until Wednesday (Nov. 15th). At 10:45am EST, we enter a Moon void of course (VoC). that lasts for a little over 7.5 hours, until 6:26pm EST.
In the late afternoon, a challenging Mercury/Neptune aspect becomes exact at 5:48pm EST. We started to feel this aspect from Saturday on; it will remain strong until Wednesday evening (Nov.15th). At 6:26pm EST, the Moon moves into Libra, where it will journey until Thursday very early morning. More about all the details in next week’s forecast ;-)
